APOSTASY: LIBERAL PROTESTANT CHURCHES PROCLAIM ‘HOLINESS’ OF TRANSGENDERISM

Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) President, the Rev. Dr. Sofía Betancourt, is joining nine other heads of diverse religious traditions in issuing a landmark statement proclaiming that transgender, intersex, and nonbinary people are “holy and whole“, worthy of love, support, and protection.

The statement is also signed by Barry Crossno, General Secretary of the Friends General Conference; The Rev. Elder Cecilia Eggleston, Moderator of Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC); Presiding Prelate Yvette A. Flunder of The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries (TFAM); Rabbi Rick Jacobs, President of Union for Reform Judaism; The Rev. Jihyun Oh, Stated Clerk and Executive Director of Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.); The Rev. Teresa “Terri” Hord Owens, General Minister and President of Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada; The Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson, General Minister and President/CEO of the United Church of Christ (UCC); Rabbi Deborah Waxman, Ph.D., President and CEO of Reconstructing Judaism; and The Episcopal Church. It also includes additional information from signers explaining the basis of support from their traditions.

“During a time when our country is placing their lives under increasingly serious threat, there is a disgraceful misconception that all people of faith do not affirm the full spectrum of gender – a great many of us do. Let it be known instead that our beloveds are created in the image of God – Holy and whole,” says the statement, which is directed to the American public, political leaders, and moral teachers.

Mind you they don’t believe in the inerrancy of Scripture and that God made two genders, male and female, and that family consists of a male joining with a female for life (become one flesh) to produce children which they care for and raise to adulthood.

The statement dated November 12th, 2025 acknowledges that while the signers may come from different religious traditions, they share a common concern in protecting those experiencing persecution. “Our scriptures vary, but they share a common conviction. As we make justice our aim we must give voice to those who are silenced. Our shared values, held across many faiths, teach us that we are all children of God and that we must cultivate a discipline of hope, especially in difficult times. As such, we raise our voices in solidarity to unequivocally proclaim the holiness of transgender, nonbinary, and intersex people, as well as the recognition of the entire spectrum of gender identity and expression,” the statement says..

A major end times sign is apostasy in the church. Never before has God’s church rejected His Word as many denominations have today. We are fast approaching Jesus second coming which is a time of tribulation which escalates into great tribulation prior to the rapture of the church and the outpouring of God’s wrath at the trumpet blast at the opening of the seventh seal. It is at the sixth seal that we see the celestial signs that precede the rapture and the outpouring of God’s wrath upon an unrepentant world.

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, … For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?Revelation 6:12, 17

GOD JUDGES NATIONS THAT REJECT HIM AND HIS COMMANDMENTS

Jonathan Cahn shows how God has judged America. God’s timing is perfect to prove He is in control of world events.

In this video Jonathan Cahn reveals the mysteries from his book ‘The Josiah Manifesto’. The stunning revelation from Leviticus, the ordinance of the Jubilee, the Valley of Hinnom, America, a plague, and an amazing mystery of timing that couldn’t be revealed until now!

Iran is another powerful example of how God not only judges nations that reject Him and His commandments but also curses nations that curse and attack Israel. Iran is suffering a drought so bad they the government is even considering moving its capital Tehran as there is not only not enough water for the city but also not enough electricity to power the city.

GOD IS RAISING UP THE CHARLIE KIRK’S TO IMPACT GEN Z: DAVID PELLOWE OF “CAS” FOR AUSTRALIA

This video is of the launch event for CAS (Church and State) NOW! – a national movement for the political discipleship of Christian (& curious) young adults. Get informed, equipped, connected with others like you and involved in saving Australia like no generation before NOW! has.

David Pellowe is Australia’s Charlie Kirk we need to get behind Church and State (CAS) http://www.churchandstate.com.au. The time is right, Gen Z is awakening, God is at work.

Dave founded Church And State ministries in 2016, a nationwide movement equipping Christians to be public salt and light: redeeming the culture, discipling the debate and advocating for righteousness in government. From Zoomers to Baby Boomers, Dave is teaching Christians to confidently say what God says about debated issues.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH IN AUSTRALIA

Freedom of speech isn’t protected in the Australian Constitution — and it’s disappearing faster than you think according to Senator Ralph Babet hence he is introducing a Constitution Alteration (Right to Free Speech) 2025, the purpose of which is to enshrine freedom of speech within the Australian Constitution.

Senator Babet deserves our support.

  • I’ve introduced the Constitution Alteration (Right to Free Speech) 2025 to enshrine freedom of speech and freedom of the press in Australia’s Constitution.
  • Australians assume they already have free speech; they don’t. That assumption is now dangerously wrong.
  • State and federal laws increasingly punish Australians for saying what they honestly believe, even simple biological truths.
  • Without freedom of speech, there is no freedom of thought. The right to speak your mind is the foundation of every other liberty.
  • My Bill will give Australians the chance to vote in a referendum and decide, once and for all, whether we still believe in the right to speak freely in our own country.

This Bill is urgently needed and will provide protection of a right that Australians assume they already have. That assumption is increasingly dangerous. While freedom of speech in this country is generally assumed, it is not guaranteed. Indeed, it is under perilous threat right now.

Over the past decade, the right of Australians to say what they think has increasingly come under attack. While Australian Parliaments have made no effort to protect speech, they have passed laws – at state and federal levels – to restrict freedom of speech. We are now at a point in this country where it is dangerous to openly say things that most people privately believe. It’s a brave person, for example, who opines in public that men cannot become women. Is that really the kind of country we want to live in? A country in which stating simple biological truths puts a person in danger of being dragged before a tribunal to be interrogated for their words.

Senator Babet proposes to make the following speech to the Senate:

Australia lacks, at a national level, entrenched protections of freedom of speech. Our role as elected representatives should be to provide and sustain that right.

This Bill, if successful, will give the Australian people the power to vote in a referendum and determine just how important freedom of speech is to them.

I believe the people will vote overwhelmingly in favour of free speech, because Australians may disagree on many issues, but we believe in a fair go and the right of everyone to voice their opinion without fear or favour.

Our proposed alteration to the Constitution will protect freedom of expression along similar lines to the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America, which provides that the Congress ‘shall make no law … abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press’.

The Australian Constitution already provides some express protection against legislative action by the Commonwealth. Section 116 says that the Parliament ‘shall not make any law for establishing any religion, or for imposing any religious observance, or for prohibiting the free exercise of any religion’.

In a similar way, our proposed protection for freedom of speech would reflect the assumption of all Australians that people have the right to express their thoughts with confidence and without fear of censure.

Moreover, it would put a brake on efforts to suppress freedom of speech that are, shockingly, becoming more and more common around the Western world, including here in Australia.

There shouldn’t be a single Senator in this chamber who would say they were against freedom of speech.

There shouldn’t be a single Senator in this chamber who would say to their constituents, I want to make it more difficult for you and your family to express your opinions.

We came to Canberra not to oppress our constituents but to defend and ensure their freedoms. This bill does that. And it is long overdue.

I commend this Bill to the Senate.

JESUS MILLENNIAL KINGDOM IS COMING SOON

What will it be like? In Ezekiel we are given a lot of detail on Jesus Millennial Temple where Jesus will sit on a magnificent throne during His millennial reign on this Earth.

In 1 Kings, we get a glimpse of the magnificence of Solomon’s palace. God established Solomon as the greatest king that has ever lived. The Queen of Sheba’s reaction gives a glimpse.

And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built, the food of his table, the seating of his officials, and the attendance of his servants, their clothing, his cupbearers, and his burnt offerings that he offered at the house of the Lord, there was no more breath in her.
And she said to the king, “The report was true that I heard in my own land of your words and of your wisdom, but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, the half was not told me. Your wisdom and prosperity surpass the report that I heard. Happy are your men! Happy are your servants, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom! Blessed be the Lord your God, who has delighted in you and set you on the throne of Israel!
1 Kings 10:4-9

If the Queen of Sheba was left without breath before Solomon, what will it be like when you stand before the greater than Solomon, King Jesus?  Imagine meeting the One “in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Colossians 2:3).

This reality is not too far distant. There are many Biblical end times prophecies of Jesus second coming and Jesus Millennial Kingdom (2000). Many of them are playing our in our day so you need to get prepared to meet Jesus. If you want more information on Jesus soon coming Millennial Kingdom go to http://www.millennialkingdom.net.

JEWS ARE COMING TO FAITH IN JESUS

Why are so many Jews rethinking Jesus? Is a quiet revival happening amongst secular and religious Jews? Is this a sign of the end times? I think it is as Biblical end times prophecies play out.

Jeff Morgan from Jews for Jesus tells us his compelling story of how he became a Christian. It is the most amazing testimony I have ever heard and for this reason alone you need to watch this video.

Jeff also shares how there is a growing movement of Jewish men and women coming to believe that Jesus is the Messiah. Sean McDowell and Jeff explore what this means for the church and for the future of evangelism?

SUDAN: A CHURCH UNDER FIRE AND PEOPLE STARVING

Darfur’s Christian communities are among the most vulnerable. For years, they have endured harassment, the burning of churches, forced conversions, and the abduction of women and girls. In towns like Nyala and Zalingei, militia fighters have raided worship services and desecrated sanctuaries—turning altars into outposts. One local pastor shared how his congregation was attacked mid-service; families scattered into the bush, carrying nothing but their faith. Yet, against all odds, hidden house churches continue to meet, their prayers whispered in the darkness.

Sudan aftermath

Satellite

The city of El Fasher has fallen to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), once known as the Janjaweed—a name that still evokes terror, meaning “the devil rides on horseback.” Their reign of terror has returned in full force. From our underground church partners, we receive heart-rending reports: house-to-house executions, massacres, and revenge killings. Families who survived over 500 days of siege are now facing starvation. Thousands are fleeing across the desert on foot, many never reaching safety.

With over half of Sudan’s population facing severe food insecurity, famine has become a weapon of persecution. Christians, often excluded from general relief distributions, suffer doubly: starved for food and targeted for their faith.

Relief

In this dark hour, the Church in Sudan still stands. Underground pastors continue to minister, risking their lives to bring both spiritual and physical sustenance. Through trusted local networks, Voice of the Martyrs, in conjunction with Shai Fund, is providing emergency food aid to 200 Christian families—about 1,800 individuals—in Darfur’s most desperate regions. Each package of millet, sugar, salt, and oil is more than nourishment; it is a tangible message that they have not been forgotten.

Local pastors distribute the food while praying with families and offering hope. “Not only Christians, but even the community has been blessed,” said one pastor who converted from Islam. “This has created a positive picture of the church among Muslims. As a result, many are turning to Christ.”

Please pray about how you and your church family can support our brothers and sisters in Christ in Sudan and Nigeria.

CAN SCIENCE POINT TO GOD? PANEL: JAMES TOUR, STEPHEN MEYER & ANDREWS FELLOWS

Dr. James Mitchell Tour is an American chemist and nanotechnologist. He is the T. T. and W. F. Chao Professor of Chemistry and a Professor of Materials Science & Nanoengineering at Rice University in HoustonTexas.

This is the first time I have encountered Dr Tour and I must say I was impressed both by his testimony and his answers to tough questions. I intend to connect with his website http://www.jesusandscience.org.

Dr Stephen C. Meyer received his Ph.D. in the philosophy of science from the University of Cambridge. A former geophysicist and college professor, he now directs Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture in Seattle.

Andrew Fellows: From 2011 to 2016 Andrew was the chairman of L’Abri International. Now based in Cambridge, Andrew is the pastor of a newly formed church alongside his work of speaking and writing. He has a special interest in reaching sceptics and encouraging followers of Christ to develop the life of the mind so it includes the whole gospel to the whole world with all of its implications. IVP published his book ‘Smuggling Jesus Back Into the Church; How Not to be Worldly’.

This video is a Cambridge Q&A where James Tour, Andrew Fellows, and Stephen Meyer explain why Christianity best accounts for reality—through personal experience, philosophy, and science. The panel fields audience questions on meaning, doubt, divine hiddenness, the reliability of mind, and the resurrection. It is brilliant. Circulate it widely.

MAYORS OF LONDON AND NOW NEW YORK ARE MUSLIMS

A communist Muslim, Zohran Mamdani is the new mayor of New York. How did this happen? One main group voting for Mamdani were young women. A staggering 81 per cent of Gen Z females went for the Muslim. Interesting – and frightening. But other demographic figures are just as important. The strategy of the left in America, as in the United Kingdom and Australia, is to flood the nations with migrants – either legal or illegal – who will almost always vote for the left to return the favour.

In 2016. Muslim. Sadiq Khan was elected the mayor of London. The percentage of Muslims in the UK in 2024 was 5.86%. Also, Muslims form the second-largest population in London. According to published statistics, 15% of Londoners are Muslims.

Both men are the sons of Muslim immigrants. Mamdani was born in Uganda, where he spent his early childhood. He was then raised in New York City and became an American citizen in 2018. He is the son of a university professor and documentary maker. Khan’s parents came to the United Kingdom from Pakistan. He was born and raised in Tooting, in south London, where he still lives. His father was a bus driver and his mother a seamstress. Neither Mamdani nor Khan has shied away from talking about the importance of their Muslim faith. Khan is 55. Mamdani, 34.

As the Bible tells us that the Antichrist (Little horn of Daniel) arises out of the geographical area that is now Turkey hence it is likely he will be a Muslim.

Then the goat (Turkey) became exceedingly great, but when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven.
Out of one of them came a little horn (Antichrist), which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the glorious land.
.. It became great, even as great as the Prince of the host. And the regular burnt offering was taken away from him, and the place of his sanctuary was overthrown.Daniel 8:8-9,11

It is difficult to see how a Muslim will be accepted by Israel unless of course he not only talks peace but allows Israel to rebuild a temple and restart sacrifices on the temple mount. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

WHY AUSTRALIA IS UNDER GOD’S JUDGEMENT

In Australia, the prevailing narrative grounded in mechanistic thinking has abandoned God and the ethical code embodied in a Christian worldview. We have embraced a new morality that is subjective and coloured by the totalitarianism of the homosexual agenda. All dissent to this agenda is now criminalised in Australia

new morality

The new morality is also more and more aggressively enforced both by the government and by the population itself. Support for free speech, freedom of the press, artistic freedom, and basic self-determination is decreasing at an alarming rate.

Professor Mattias Desmet, professor of clinical psychology at the University of Ghent, Belgium, who published The Psychology of Totalitarianism in 2022, sees the new morality not as a mark of progress, but as a mask for conformity. The results are a loss of freedom on many levels and a gagging of genuine dialogue. I see it as a denial of a person’s individual human rights to free choice, free speech, freedom of religion and freedom of association. Surely this should concern all lovers of a free democracy and Christians who hold to beliefs contrary to the new morality.

The new morality which rises out of a mechanistic worldview holds to relativism, and either ignores or rejects the Christian worldview that God is and has revealed His will for humankind.

A Christian response to the new morality will affirm without apology that ultimate reality is found in the personal God who has revealed Himself in Jesus Christ. Humankind is made in the image of God, and its ultimate purpose is to have a relationship with God. Morality is God-given and is absolute.

The church today will need to discover the attitude that was displayed by Dietrich Bonhoeffer as he faced the rising totalitarianism of Nazism.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906-1945), a German pastor and theologian, resisted the Nazi regime and was eventually involved in a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler. He was arrested, imprisoned, and executed in the concentration camp at Flossenburg on 9 April 1945, one of four members of his immediate family to die at the hands of the Nazi regime for their participation in the small Protestant resistance movement.

Bonhoeffer stands as an example of one who stood against a tyrannical regime and promoted the idea of civil disobedience for Christians. Now, I am aware that the regime Bonhoeffer opposed was a personification of evil – a true example of the beast in operation. Some may think that it is inappropriate to use him as an example for a justification of civil disobedience, resistance to the new morality, in contemporary Australia. I think that we can discern some principles for our resistance from his example, and that is what I propose to offer here.

It seems that a watershed in Bonhoeffer’s resistance to the Nazi Regime was in 1934 at the Fanø conference. Fanø is a small island in the North Sea off the coast of Denmark. A diverse group gathered there, and it was here that Bonhoeffer spoke of his support for civil disobedience in the face of Nazi totalitarianism. Later, he would move from civil disobedience to the extreme position of supporting the assassination of Adolf Hitler.

The principles coming out of this conference that we need to note in our current contemporary situation are enshrined in the following words of the resolution from the conference:

The Council declares its conviction that autocratic Church rule, especially when imposed upon the conscience in solemn oath, the use of force, and the suppression of free discussion, are incompatible with the true nature of the Christian Church, and asks in the name of the Gospel for its fellow Christians in the German Church:

“Freedom to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and to live according to His teaching;

“Freedom of the printed word and of Assembly in the service of the Christian Community;

“Freedom of the Church to instruct its youth in the principles of Christianity and immunity from the compulsory imposition of life antagonistic to the Christian religion.”

It is freedom that is the keyword for us now. Our freedom to choose and freedom of conscience are seriously restricted because of the mandatory regulations in relation to “gay conversion”. With the “anti-Gay Conversion Therapy Laws” now legislated in Australian States, our freedom to uphold biblical morality is now restricted.

The powerful legacy of Bonhoeffer was his Christocentric theology and its application to life, so brilliantly expounded in his Cost of Discipleship. The challenge is to live under the Lordship of Christ over all of life. Our obedience is to Him. He demands, and is worthy of, our total obedience. Freedom is found in Him and following Him.

Bonhoeffer’s example inspires us today as we contend for the right of freedom of choice, freedom of conscience and freedom of religion. These are violated by the new morality and laws supporting it.

Taken from an article A Christian Response to the New Morality Dr Barry Manuel 7th November 2025.
