THE TRUTH ABOUT ISLAM

Historian and author Raymond Ibrahim joins The Winston Marshall Show for a powerful, eye-opening conversation on the hidden history of Islam’s conquest of the Christian world—and why so few dare to speak about it today. Raymond traces the rapid Islamic expansion following Muhammad’s death, showing how, within just one century, Muslim armies had violently overrun three-quarters of the original Christian world—from Syria and Egypt to Spain and deep into Europe. He dismantles the myth of Andalusian “tolerance,” reveals the brutal realities behind the so-called Islamic Golden Age, and explains how the Islamic conquests shattered the Mediterranean world, plunging Europe into the Dark Ages. Raymond explores the modern censorship around Christian persecution, the resurgence of historical jihadist rhetoric in groups like ISIS, and the urgent lessons today’s leaders refuse to learn. All this—the real story of the Crusades, the lost Christian heartlands, the enduring legacy of conquest, and the history the mainstream media won’t touch…

Key takeaways from the interview with Winston Marshall include:

  1. Within the space of 100 years, after the death of Mohammed, by 732, Muslims were overtaking Europe by violent conquest. There was no tolerance, harmony between Judaism,  Christians and Muslims.  Christianity was denigrated, and it was convert, pay Jizya, or die. Jizya is money paid by non- Muslims so that they can keep practising their religion.  (Under Islamic law,  if the money is not paid, the people are to be enslaved or killed.)
  2. Three-quarters of the Christian world was conquered and has not been recovered.
  3. Once a Territory is taken by Islam, even though they are defeated and expelled from that region, Islam believes it always belongs to them and must be retaken.
  4. The Eastern world included Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, and Morocco. They were more Christian in numbers and belief than Europe at that time. (In fact, the Coptic Christians from Egypt were instrumental in spreading the Gospel in Europe.) Each country was violently conquered. As was Israel.
  5. The Slavic nations got their name from the fact that Islam conquered the area and enslaved the populace. Slavery was their bread and butter.
  6. The Vikings supplied white slaves to the Muslims.
  7. The exploration of the New World by Christopher Columbus came about because of the constant threat of Muslim invasion of Spain. The quest was a fallback plan if all else failed.
  8. The very first war fought by the new United States of America was against the barbarism of the Barbary Pirates. A series of two wars were fought from 1801-1805. The North African slave traders ramped up their aggressive posture by shifting their focus to KIDNAPPING and holding for ransom. The pirates, based in modern-day Tunisia, Libya, and Morocco, demanded tribute for ‘safe passage’ through the Mediterranean. The newly minted American nation refused to negotiate with terrorists and defeated them.
  9. The times may change. The playbook remains the same.

THE GREATEST SPIRITUAL AWAKENING IS YET TO COME

The greatest spiritual awakening will be when the Jews see Jesus and all Israel will be saved

And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn. On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great as the mourning for Hadad-rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. The land shall mourn, each family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the Shimeites by itself, and their wives by themselves; and all the families that are left, each by itself, and their wives by themselves.
 “
On that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness. Zechariah 12:10-14, 13:1

And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.” Deuteronomy 30:6

And I will betroth you to me forever. I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy. I will betroth you to me in faithfulness. And you shall know the Lord. Hosea 2:18-20

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Jeremiah 31:31-33

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall not teach, each one his neighbour and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.” Hebrews 8:10-12

IS CLIMATE CHANGE CAUSING SEA LEVELS TO RISE AT ALARMING RATES?

Examining over 200 tide gauge stations worldwide, researchers have found no global acceleration in sea level rise, contrary to wild predictions by climate alarmists and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

For decades, the public has been warned that human-driven climate change is causing sea levels to surge at alarming rates, threatening to swallow coastal cities by the end of the century. But a landmark new peer-reviewed study has found no evidence that sea level rise is accelerating worldwide.

sea level rise

Published in the Journal of Marine Science and Engineering, the paper by Dutch engineer Hessel Voortman and researcher Rob de Vos analysed hundreds of tide gauge records. Their conclusion is stark: “Our analysis of more than 200 tide gauge stations around the world shows that there is no global acceleration of sea level rise”.

A First-of-Its-Kind Global Analysis

Unlike previous studies that relied heavily on climate models, Voortman and de Vos used observed data from tide stations stretching back at least 60 years. They found that the mean rate of sea level rise remains steady at around 1.5 mm per year — about 15 cm per century — similar to rates observed in the 20th century.

“The average rate of sea level rise in 2020 is around 1.5 mm per year,” Voortman explained. “This is significantly lower than the 3 to 4 mm per year often reported by climate scientists in scientific literature and the media.”

Their analysis showed that claims of acceleration are confined to a handful of isolated sites, typically explained by local conditions such as earthquakes, groundwater extraction or sediment shifts. “This pattern is inconsistent with sea level acceleration driven by global phenomena,” the authors wrote.

Models v Reality

One of the study’s most significant findings is the gap between observed sea level data and projections from the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

The IPCC’s 2021 report projected much higher rates of sea level rise, yet Voortman and de Vos found that “on average, the rate of rise projected by the IPCC is biased upward with approximately 2 mm per year in comparison with the observed rate”.

In other words, widely circulated claims of seas rising by three to ten feet this century are not supported by measured data. Instead, the study suggests that sea levels could rise by only six inches — about the same increase seen in the previous century.

“The graph shows the majority of locations to be above the blue line,” the authors noted of their comparison chart. “This indicates that the rate of sea level rise in the projections is too high compared to the empirical rate”.

Local Factors, Not Global Warming

Where acceleration was detected, it was almost always linked to localised factors rather than a global climate signal. For example, at Ayukawa in Japan, the 2011 Tohoku earthquake caused the land to drop suddenly by more than 80 cm, leading to a sharp spike in recorded sea levels.

In Bangkok and Mumbai, excessive groundwater extraction and rapid urban development explained unusual patterns of rise.

Voortman stressed that such anomalies should not be confused with evidence of global acceleration. “Nine stations did show an acceleration,” he explained. “But these stations are mostly located near stations that show no acceleration in sea level rise, making it unlikely that a global phenomenon such as global warming caused by CO2 is the underlying cause.”

A Stark Contrast with Media Warnings

These findings stand in sharp contrast with decades of dire headlines.

In 2019, New York Times columnist David Wallace-Wells warned, “We will see at least four feet of sea level rise and possibly ten by the end of the century.” That same year, The Atlantic declared, “The oceans we know won’t survive climate change.” The lattercited Princeton scientist Michael Oppenheimer, who predicted that sea levels would rise by more than 2 feet 9 inches by 2100.

Voortman was blunt about the failure to test projections against reality: “It is crazy that it had not been done,” he said, describing his review of whether any global study had actually compared projections with observations. “There were none.”

His work began with a 2023 paper focused on the Dutch coast, where he found no acceleration despite repeated warnings. That led to this global analysis with de Vos, revealing the same result worldwide.

De Vos, in an article reflecting on the research, criticised what he called the “IPCC narrative” around sea level rise. “One of the ‘crown jewels’ of the IPCC narrative is rising sea levels,” he wrote. “But our analysis shows that acceleration is not statistically demonstrable at almost all stations.”

The study is already being described by some commentators as a monumental embarrassment. Michael Shellenberger, a prominent climate analyst, called it “a massive scientific scandal” for showing that widely repeated claims of acceleration were unsupported by observational data.

For many Australians, the constant drumbeat of catastrophic climate warnings has been a source of fear, particularly for young people. The latest study raises important questions: if sea level rise is steady but not accelerating, how should Christians respond to narratives of crisis and alarm?

As believers, we are called to be people of truth. Scripture reminds us that God “did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-discipline” (2 Timothy 1:7). While creation care remains vital, Christians can resist being swept along by exaggerated or misleading claims that foster anxiety rather than stewardship.

Voortman and de Vos’s research offers a rare moment of clarity in the climate debate. Their careful analysis of real-world data shows that global acceleration in sea level rise is simply not occurring. Instead, the seas are rising at the same modest pace as the last century, shaped more by local geology and human activity than by sweeping climate forces.

For policymakers, engineers, and families alike, the message is clear: do not build decisions on fear or exaggeration, but on truth grounded in evidence. The truth revealed in God’s Word. We know how the story of this fallen world plays out. Satan’s rule over this world is coming to an end. Next on God’s agenda for this fallen world is Jesus Millennial reign (http://www.millennialkingdom.net). In order to fulfill the covenant promises made to Abraham, David and the new covenant Israel’s Messiah, Jesus must rule the nations of the world. We have had 6,000 years of Satan’s rule now we will have 1000 years of Jesus rule before God destroys this cosmos and He creates a new Heaven and new Earth where only righteousness dwells.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.Revelation 21:1-3

PRAYER: WHAT IT DOES AND DOES NOT DO

Prayer does not promise to free us from trouble. Indeed, God promises us the opposite. Trials will come. Such is this world. Rather, we pray to align our hearts and minds with God’s will.

We pray that we would accept God’s ordering of things, not our own, because it is HIS Kingdom.

We pray that we will be made strong and made better in difficulty, like gold purified in fire.

We pray that we would do those things which advance God’s purposes, to shine His testimony brightest in the darkness.

We pray for those things which we believe are in God’s will — but with the same caveat Jesus used — “not my will, but Yours be done.”

We pray with our eyes on the new heaven and new earth, where all these troubles will be solved, the dead will be reunited, and every tear will be wiped away.

God-Given Strength

The mockers will say, “See! Prayer did not help!” Not so.

It is only by faith that the tragedies of this fallen world become instruments of advancing a greater purpose.

The one who has no faith is defeated because they have no hope beyond living a trouble-free life, which happens to nobody.

But to the one who has faith, the troubles of this world are like gym equipment to a gymnast. They strengthen us. They bring us close to God. They help us to understand things with an ultimate and eternal perspective.

And it is those people, made fit by the fallenness of their world, who are strong to advance works for God; who walk in His ways; and who will rejoice the greatest when God greets them and all the troubles that made them are now resolved.

To put it bluntly, they are not the killers. They are the finest of people.

No point railing against the pray-ers in trouble. You will be better served to understand their method.

Then you can live with hope and meaning, too, no matter what this fallen world throws up.

INSPIRATIONAL TESTIMONY OF FAITH

Christian athlete Nicola Olyslagers has continued her strong season by winning the 2025 Wanda Diamond League Final—once again pointing to God as the source of her inspiration.

Last week, Cody Mitchell published an article on how Aussie athlete Nicola Olyslagers’s Christian faith motivates her to press through adversity. Her story is a powerful witness to the resilience and courage her Christian faith inspires. I encourage you to read that piece if you have not yet.

This weekend at the 2025 Wanda Diamond League Final, Nicola soared to new heights—beating her own Australian and Oceania records, clearing the highest mark of any athlete this year (2.04 metres), and outperforming the current world-record holder, Ukraine’s Yaroslava Mahuchikh.

What a great testimony this is of God’s power and faithfulness when we trust and obey. The least we can do is to share it with others.

Former Trans Kids Warn Others – ‘Don’t Do It!’

The scripture, “God made them male and female,” is being ignored by a culture that encourages and celebrates being transgender. For many who went far enough to take steps, including surgery to alter their gender, the regret is enormous. Now, many of them are warning others not to make the same mistake. Eighteen-year-old Chloe Cole, a self-described “former trans kid,” is leading the fight to protect children from transgender surgeries. Chloe de-transitioned following years of taking puberty blockers and an irreversible double mastectomy at the age of 15. “We need to stop telling 12-year-olds that they were born wrong, that they are right to reject their own bodies and feel uncomfortable in their own skin. We need to stop telling children that puberty is an option, that they can choose what kind of puberty they will go through. My childhood was ruined along with thousands of de-transitioners that I know through our networks. This needs to stop,” she said.

In her book, Detrans: True Stories of Escaping the Gender Ideology Cult, Mary Margaret Olohan writes that many of these young people wanted to “find themselves” and had no idea of the impact transitioning would have on them. “They were told that the reason that they didn’t feel comfortable at school, the reason they didn’t have a lot of friends, the reason that they didn’t feel special, is because they weren’t in the right body. And that if they got into this right body that all of their problems would disappear, and they would feel happy and content and fulfilled. And of course, this is a lie,” Olohan told CBN News. She contends that what proponents label “gender-affirming care” is really puberty and hormone blockers, followed in many cases by gender mutilating surgeries in which there is also no going back. “A lot of these girls got double mastectomies, which is called ‘top surgery’, before they were legal adults.

When transitioners speak up, they’re met with a lot of hate, a lot of vitriol, a lot of bitterness and anger, and they’re told that you were never actually transgender and that you’re a traitor. All kinds of horrible things. And let’s not forget that the de-transitioners themselves used to feel very lonely, very awkward; they desperately wanted to fit in. So, this is incredibly hard for them when the group that accepted them and told them they were special and brave for being transgender is now saying, ‘Get away from us – you’re scum,’” Olohan said. As for Chloe, her testimony before Congress has helped change the way states look at gender-affirming care. Today, half of all U.S. states ban puberty blockers and surgeries for young people under 18, and more states are expected to follow. Chloe says she and thousands of others have been the victims of one of the biggest medical scams in American history. “I speak to you in the hope that you will have the courage to bring this scandal to an end and ensure that other vulnerable teenagers and young adults don’t go through what I went through.

Finnish MP Päivi Räsänen still fighting hate speech charge

The consequences of one tweet posted seven years ago continue to reverberate for Finnish MP Päivi Räsänen, who is at the centre of an ongoing legal case for “hate speech.” This is intense spiritual warfare. There is no other reasonable explanation for it. We are in the Biblical prophesied last days before Jesus returns and Satan is bound and cast into a pit for the time of Jesus millennial reign on this earth:

And he (Angel) seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.” Revelation 20:2-2-3

We are in the time of tribulation and it will escalate to great tribulation. The Saints will be protected from the wrath of God which is poured out with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements but not the tribulation which will purify the body of the apostates as exemplified by the Laodicean church.

In 2019, Räsänen, who is also a former government minister, posted a tweet questioning the appropriateness of the Evangelical Lutheran Church being a sponsor for an LGBT pride event in Helsinki.

Her tweet also included an image of a Bible verse from Romans Chapter 1, which states, “The men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

In 2021, Räsänen was charged with “agitation against a minority group” under the section of the Finnish criminal code that deals with “war crimes and crimes against humanity.” The charges relate to the tweet, as well as her comments in a radio debate and a church pamphlet published in 2004. The co-publisher of the pamphlet, Bishop Juhana Pohjola, was also charged.

In the debate, Räsänen argued that, according to the Bible, marriage is between one man and one woman and that homosexual relationships are sinful. The pamphlet also included these biblical beliefs.

Both Räsänen and Pohjola were acquitted of all charges in 2022 and again in 2023. However, the prosecutor has appealed yet again, taking the case to Finland’s Supreme Court, which is set to hear oral arguments on Oct. 30.

Paul Coleman, executive director of ADF International and part of Räsänen’s legal defense team, expressed disbelief that the state was continuing to go after her.

“It is shocking that after two unanimous acquittals, Päivi Räsänen is again being dragged to court to defend her fundamental right to freedom of speech,” he said.

Speaking of her ongoing ordeal, Räsänen said, “It isn’t a crime to tweet a Bible verse, or to engage in public discourse from a Christian perspective. The attempts to criminalize me for expressing my beliefs have resulted in an immensely trying last few years, but I still hope for a positive result that will stand as a key precedent to protect the human right to free speech in Finland.”

GEN Z – THE REVIVAL GENERATION

Several people involved with a new documentary about the revival among Generation Z told The Christian Post why they believe the unique challenges young people are facing have left them especially open to the Gospel.

The Revival Generation,” which was produced by the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN)’s Abigail Robertson, premiered last Wednesday at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts amid the Trump administration’s push to promote more faith-friendly content at the prestigious venue.

Detailing some of the large revivals on college campuses in recent years, the film portrays thousands of Gen Z students filling stadiums as they pursue healing and faith through Christ, which attendees at the red-carpet premiere said hurting young people are desperately seeking.

‘Toughest time to be a young person’

Those attending the premiere included members of the White House Faith Office and other prominent Christian figures, including former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Ben Carson. He was among the voices who offered insight in the film about the spiritual searching among Gen Z or “Zoomers,” who were born roughly between 1997 and 2012 and suffer from unprecedented depression, identity issues and mental illness.

Tim Robertson, son of the late CBN founder and evangelist Pat Robertson, told CP he believes many young people have come to reject the bitter fruit and spiritual failure of the prevailing secular worldview they inherited.

“Young people are looking at some of the values they’ve been given from a very permissive generation that’s older, and they want to find some stability in their lives,” he said. “And obviously Christianity gives them that stability, and it gives them a rock and an anchor.”

“I think a lot of the ideology of the Left is being exposed as being empty, and they want something that’s real, and that’s what they’re finding in Jesus,” he added.

Much of the documentary centers on Tonya Prewett, a mother who founded the UniteUS movement. Her own daughter’s struggles with addiction and suicidal ideation led her to establish the nonprofit that organizes prayer and worship gatherings among college students.

As recounted in the film, she was involved with the revival at Auburn University in September 2023, when thousands gathered in the school’s auditorium for worship, and hundreds were baptized impromptu in an on-campus pond, despite the freezing weather.

Similar student-led revivals took place that year at colleges such as Asbury University in Kentucky, Lee University in Tennessee, Samford University in Alabama, as well as Texas A&M University and Baylor University in Texas. These students are discovering that their creator, God loves them and of course it changes their lives forever.

WHEN WILL TWO WITNESSES OF REVELATION 11 MINISTER ON EARTH?

Who are the two witnesses of Revelation 11 and when will they minister on earth. We know from Scripture how long they minister on earth.

And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” Revelation 11:3

BIOLOGICAL FACTS RULED SEVERE CONTEMPT UNDER NSW ANTIDISCRIMINATION ACT

Women’s advocate Kirralie Smith and her organisation Binary face up to $200,000 in fines after their statements calling male-born soccer players “men” were ruled unlawful vilification under the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act.

A New South Wales court has ruled that calling a person born male a “man” amounts to unlawful vilification, adding to a series of legal setbacks for women’s rights advocate Kirralie Smith.

Two lengthy judgments handed down Tuesday by Deputy Chief Magistrate Sharon Freund focussed on a collection of social media posts Smith made in 2023 about Stephanie Blanch and Riley Dennis — two male-born players who compete in female soccer divisions in NSW.

“I am satisfied that the defendant unlawfully vilified the plaintiff… when she referred to the plaintiff as a male or a man,” Freund wrote in one of the rulings.

Smith, who serves as Director and Spokesperson of Binary Australia, may face penalties of up to $200,000 in fines, mandatory apologies, and compulsory re-education to affirm the idea that men can become women.

The decisions follow last week’s separate Court of Appeal ruling that upheld a two-year apprehended violence order (AVO) against Smith for “harassment” after she posted images questioning male participation in women’s sport. That AVO prevents Smith from posting content identifying Blanch, who is also a plaintiff in one of this week’s judgments.

Biological Facts Ruled ‘Severe Contempt’

Tuesday’s decisions arose from two separate complaints lodged by Stephanie Blanch and Riley Dennis earlier this year. Blanch, who adopted a female identity in 2016, plays for Wingham FC. Dennis, also trans-identifying, is the top goal scorer in Football NSW’s Women’s League One First Grade.

On social media and in emails, Kirralie Smith questioned the fairness of their participation and referred to them as male. One Binary Australia newsletter described Blanch as “a bloke in a frock,” while Smith’s posts highlighted Dennis’s dominant performance, asking why there was a women’s division “if anyone is a woman.”

The court concluded that these statements had the capacity to incite “severe contempt” or “hatred” under section 38S of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).

The judge ordered Smith and Binary Australia to delete existing content, publish apologies, and create compliance programs to prevent future “vilification.” Failure to comply within two months could result in significant financial penalties.

This is lunacy, a world gone mad and evidence we are in the last days before Jesus prophesied return to restore righteousness. Most Christians are unaware that Jesus is coming back not only to rescue Israel at the battle of Armageddon but He is then going to rule on this Earth for 1,000 years before it is finally destroyed by fire. If you would like more information on what is next on God’s agenda for planet Earth, go to http://www.millennialkingdom.net.

After Jesus Millennial Kingdom, the second resurrection then takes place followed by the white throne judgement. Only then does the apostle John see the new Heaven and new Earth where only the righteous dwell.
