With a powerful win and an even stronger message, Scottie Scheffler and Nike have spotlighted fatherhood as the true measure of greatness in a culture that often overlooks it.

Fatherhood and family — which are often portrayed negatively in popular culture — received a rare moment of glory recently, thanks to Nike’s heartwarming ad celebrating pro golfer Scottie Scheffler’s win at The Open Championship in Northern Ireland.

Posted on X, the ad featured two photos of Scheffler. The first showed the world’s top-ranked golfer playing with his one-year-old son Bennett on the green, with the caption, “You’ve already won.” The second image captured Scheffler mid-swing, paired with the words, “But another major never hurt.”

It would have been great to have God, the creator of families get a mention from Scottie Scheffler as we know he is openly Christian and speaks frequently about his faith. He identifies as a Christian and has stated that his faith is what defines him most, even above his golf career. He actively connects his faith to his golf, stating that he competes to glorify God and that his identity is in Christ, not in his achievements on the golf course, according to Christians in Sport.

Israel’s Joy and Restoration

WHY WILL THE WORLD LARGELY REJECT THE MESSAGE OF GOD’S TWO SUPERNATURAL WITNESSES?

Before God pours out His wrath upon the Earth He always warns the people in advance: Noah, “a preacher of righteousness” (2 Peter 2: 5), was a witness before the judgment of the flood; Lot was as a witness to Sodom and Gomorrah (2 Peter 2: 6-7); and again, Jonah witnessed to Nineveh (John 1: 2). So too, it will be when Mystery Babylon’s “sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities” (Revelation 18: 5). Therefore, when God decides it is time, God will send His Two Witnesses/Prophets to the world to witness with signs and wonders of what is coming.

When Moses and Aaron gave witness of God’s intentions to Pharaoh’s court, their powerful message was not heeded because Satan had previously installed his counterfeits; He is the great deceiver. Today, the idea of directed panspermia, the thousands of UFO sightings, alien abductions, etc. are the modern equivalent to Pharaoh’s court, installed beforehand so the world will not heed the message of the Two Witnesses. Children have been bombarded with movies and video games that feature aliens.

Mankind will hate the Two because even now the world bows down to the harlot’s (Mystery Babylon) cosmopolitan charm, full of pride, gossip, slander, lust of power, rebellion, hatred and denial of the Creator, vengeance against God, military might, social influence, atheism and humanism. The world loves her seductive consumerism, gluttony, covetousness, and greed of the bull-god of Wall Street. The world lauds her for her progressive ideals of harlotry, pornography, fornication, women with women, men with men, transvestitism, transgenderism, and baby-killing.

The Two Witnesses will be commissioned “before the decree is issued… Before the day of the LORD’s anger comes” (Zephaniah 2: 2), and will exhort the world: “Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD’s anger” (Zephaniah 2: 3). Just as Moses came with power to authenticate God’s message, so will the Two.

While I am persuaded the Two Witnesses will actually be Moses and Elijah, it is impossible to prove conclusively. Nevertheless, what matters is that these two individuals will, at the very least, operate in the spirit of Moses and Elijah, even if they are not those two in person.

When will the two witnesses begin their ministry? We know their ministry lasts 3 and 1/2 years. For me the most appropriate times is when Jesus opens the first seal. If this is the case they would be killed at the midpoint of the seven years before Jesus returns first time to rapture the Saints. It is the time when Jesus warns the Jews that they need to get out of Jerusalem so this maybe the appropriate time for the two witnesses ministry to end. It is also the time when the Antichrist declares He is God (Abomination of Desolation). Being able to kill the two witnesses would confirm his claim. The fact they are resurrected would put a dampener on it but at least they are gone. The other option is they start their ministry during the year of the third seal being opened (the rider of the black horse) and finish their ministry at the end of the sixth seal when they are raptured with the Saints. God then begins to pour out His wrath with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements.

GOD’S TWO WITNESSES ARE COMING SOON

God’s Two Witnesses have Super-Powers. God will send the Two Witnesses to warn the world; and, in order to authenticate their message they will have out-of-this-world abilities. They will use their powers to testify of the coming King. “I will give power to my Two Witnesses … (Revelation 11: 3) And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner (Revelation 11: 5). These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire (Revelation 11: 6).

For a period of forty-two months, the Two Witnesses will call down fire, stop the rain, turn waters into blood, and essentially trash the earth.

In the end, because man by and large rejects the message of the Two (Revelation 16: 11), and will “not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved … God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2: 10– 12). Just as Pharaoh rejected the many proofs, so too the world will reject the truth of the Two, and instead, in a delusional state will accept Satan’s lie— that he is here to help fight the Two agents of the malevolent Creator who only wants to limit their freedom and enslave them.

In the Satan inspired movie, Prometheus, one member of an advanced humanoid race eons ago sacrificially released his DNA into earth’s water, thereby becoming the father of humanity. When a group travels to the creators’ planet, they discover the creators intend to harm us. The Two Witnesses could easily be seen in the light of agents of the cold aliens rather than those of a loving God who is concerned about his creation. After 3.5 years of their fire, drought and attacks, the world will be exhausted, disheartened and in financial ruin, as described by Isaiah: “The new wine fails, the vine languishes, all the merry-hearted sigh” (Isaiah 24: 7). … Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it (Isaiah 24: 9). The city of confusion is broken down; every house is shut up, so that none may go in (Isaiah 24: 10). There is a cry for wine in the streets, all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone (Isaiah 24: 11).

For forty-two months, Earth’s greatest militaries with their most advanced weapons have been humbled; one third of ships including super tankers and massive cargo ships (Revelation 8: 9) are destroyed; one third of the fish dead; one third of trees devastated by drought and fire, and starvation is setting in for many. The world will be in desperate straits— desperate to find a solution to be rid of the Two. While some will consider the message of the Two and repent, many others will dig in their heels, like Pharaoh who did not repent when the God of heaven and earth sent witnesses and judgment.

REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY AND ANTISEMITISM

Throughout history, theology has not only shaped Church doctrines but has also deeply influenced social and political ideas, national policies, and public opinion. Among the theological systems that have had far-reaching consequences, replacement theology stands out for its historical and ongoing influence on the development of antisemitism.

Augustine of Hippo (354–430 AD) remains one of the most influential voices in Western Christianity. He spiritualised the promises made to Israel, arguing that the Church was the “New Israel.” Augustine’s City of God posited that the Jews were a witness people – preserved only to confirm the truth of Scripture, but without any divine favour or future.

This “doctrinal de-Judaising” of Christianity, spearheaded by Augustine and cemented by the medieval Church, fed into the bloodstream of Western Christian thought for over a millennium.

If Augustine sowed the seeds, Martin Luther (1483–1546) watered them with toxic rhetoric. Early in his career, Luther advocated kindness toward Jews in the hope of converting them. But when Jews rejected his overtures, Luther’s tone shifted drastically. In his infamous tract “On the Jews and Their Lies” (1543), Luther wrote:

“What shall we Christians do with this rejected and condemned people, the Jews?… I advise that their synagogues be set on fire…”

Luther’s writings went beyond theological speculation. They were political and social prescriptions. His ideas formed the theological backdrop for centuries of German antisemitism. The Third Reich found in Luther a useful ideological ally, quoting him in Nazi propaganda to justify their genocidal policies.

Dispensationalism: A Biblical Defence of Israel

By the mid-19th century, a corrective theological movement arose that affirmed that God has distinct plans for Israel and the Church. This system – sometimes called dispensationalism – insists on a literal interpretation of Scripture, particularly Old Testament prophecy.

This doctrine, broadly understood, is not new. It has had high-profile supporters all throughout Church history, including Irenaeus and Tertullian.

Dispensationalists argue that the promises made to Abraham (Genesis 12, 15, 17), David (2 Samuel 7), and the prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel) concerning the land, the throne, and a restored Israel are irrevocable and non-redefinable. These promises have not been fulfilled spiritually in the Church, but await literal fulfilment.

The rebirth of the modern state of Israel in 1948 is seen not as a political accident but as a prophetic milestone. Dispensationalists point to passages like Ezekiel 36–37, Isaiah 66:8, and Zechariah 12–14 to argue that Israel’s return to the land is a foretaste and beginning of the final chapter in God’s redemptive history.

By affirming Israel’s ongoing covenantal role, dispensationalism combats antisemitism at its root. If the Jewish people are central to God’s plan, then persecuting them is an affront to God Himself.

Theological Consequences and Moral Responsibility

Ideas have consequences. When churches teach that the Jewish people are irrelevant to God’s plan, it inevitably influences the moral compass of their followers. This theology has real-world consequences, including:

  • The legitimisation of antisemitic ideologies.
  • Apathy toward Jewish suffering.
  • Opposition to the modern state of Israel.
  • The loss of biblical literacy regarding prophecy.

Dispensationalism, despite being mocked by so-called theological elites, offers a necessary corrective. It upholds a high view of Scripture, recognises God’s sovereign plan for Israel and fosters a theological posture that defends, rather than demonises, the Jewish people. As a result, it insists on the necessity and priority of proclaiming the gospel to them (Romans 1:16).

Reclaiming a Biblical Theology of Israel

Christians must return to a biblical theology that respects the literal promises of God. Romans 11 offers a rebuke to replacement theology:

“Has God cast away His people? Certainly not!… For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:1, 29)

Paul anticipates and rejects the idea that Israel has been permanently rejected. The olive tree metaphor reveals that Gentile believers are grafted in—but the natural branches (Israel) will be grafted in again. Replacement theology too often skips this chapter, or spiritualises it beyond recognition.

The Church must repent of its arrogance and recognise that Israel remains central to God’s redemptive plan. This plan is not based on their righteousness, but because of God’s unchanging covenantal promises. The prophet Ezekiel, who wrote much about Israel’s unrighteousness, affirmed:

“This is what the Lord God says: It is not for your sake that I will act, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you profaned among the nations where you went.” (Ezekiel 36:22)

Conclusion

The history of antisemitism is not merely a story of cultural prejudice – it is also a story of bad theology. Replacement theology, shaped by Augustine and exacerbated by Luther, laid the ideological groundwork for centuries of Jewish persecution. Its failure to recognise the ongoing role of Israel in God’s plan has had catastrophic consequences, including complicity in the Holocaust and ongoing antisemitic rhetoric today.

In contrast, dispensationalism stands as a prophetic voice, reminding the Church that God’s promises are irrevocable and that Israel’s modern restoration is not an accident but a divine appointment.

If antisemitism is indeed a “doctrine of devils,” then it has often been dressed in the robes of religious respectability. The Church must repent, realign its theology with Scripture, and embrace the whole counsel of God – including His plans for Israel. Anything less is not only theologically deficient but morally reprehensible.

THE LAW OF THE LORD IS PERFECT

AS THE WORLD REJECTS GOD’S VALUES LAWLESSNESS ABOUNDS

Youth crime and violence are on the rise across Australia. A recent article in The Guardian reads, 

The state’s overall offence rate has increased by 15% but youth crime has seen an even bigger increase.

“Youth offending also continues to grow, with crimes committed by children aged 10 to 17 up 17.9%. It is the second quarter in a row that youth crime rates have reached record levels. Police said children (10 – 17 yrs) only accounted for 13.1% of all offenders, but they were overrepresented in serious and violent crimes such as robberies (63.1%), aggravated burglaries (46%) and car theft (26.9%).”

A study in the USA called “Father Absence and Youth Incarceration” showed that boys who are fatherless from birth are three times more likely to go to jail than peers from intact families.  While boys who do not see their father depart until they are 10 to 14 years old are over two times more likely to go to jail than peers from intact families.

Interestingly, Dr Pat Fagan showed that states in the USA with a lower percentage of single-parent families, on average, had lower rates of juvenile crime. State-by-state analysis indicated that, in general, a 10 per cent increase in the number of children living in single-parent homes (including divorces) accompanied a 17 per cent increase in juvenile crime.

Fagan, in his article, “The Real Root Causes of Violent Crime: The Breakdown of Marriage, Family, and Community”, demonstrates the correlation between marriage and fatherhood and what the absence of both does to our children. Among married two-parent families, whether white or black, the crime rate was very low. The capacity and determination to maintain stable married relationships, not race, was the pivotal factor. Chaotic, broken communities resulted from chaotic, broken families.

Rejecting God’s ordinance for marriage: one man and one woman for life so they become one flesh (Genesis 2:24), is why we no longer have stable God fearing homes.

Jesus tells us what end times families will do: “And brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death. And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake.” Mark 13:12

WHO WILL YOU ALIGN WITH, SATAN’S ALIEN/DEMONIC DECEPTION OR WITH JESUS AND GOD’S WORD?

Biblical end times prophecies are being fulfilled at an increasing rate (like birth pains) just as Jesus predicted.

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.” Matthew 24:7-8

The world is being prepared for demons presenting themselves as saviours of the human race. One only has to see the number of movies and video games of aliens presenting themselves as good guys, here to help the human race.

Even more important: “UFO’s and Aliens were seen and being described in the 1940s, 50s, 60s and 70s. Nothing has changed. All we have is better technical equipment, like video on aircraft, so we can pick things up easier; that’s why they are being seen more. We are saying you’ve got to start preparing people for a massive psychological change, whether it’s now or six months or a year’s time. While God has given Satan free rein to perform his dastardly deeds, and given each person the freedom to choose his destiny, God always remains in control. Right on God’s schedule and according to his omniscient plan, when wickedness comes up before God’s face (Genesis 19:13), God’s sends his eleventh-hour witness of the judgment and devastation about to come upon the earth. Noah, “a preacher of righteousness” (2 Peter 2: 5), was a witness before the judgment of the flood; Lot was as a witness to Sodom and Gomorrah (2 Peter 2: 6-7); and again, Jonah witnessed to Nineveh (John 1: 2). So too, it will be when Mystery Babylon’s “sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities” (Rev. 18: 5). Therefore, when God decides it is time, and Jesus breaks the first seal, God will send the Two Prophets to the world to witness with signs and wonders of what is coming. Shortly thereafter, Satan will launch his countermove. His decades of UFO-stage-setting will come into focus and take on a new relevance. The UFO/ alien disclosure will be to the Two Witnesses what Pharaoh’s magicians were to Moses and Aaron. So Moses and Aaron went into Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the LORD commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent (Exodus 7: 10). But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments (Exodus 7: 11). And Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the LORD had said (Exodus 7: 13). Time is short you need to decide to whom you will submit your life. Will it be to God by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour or to Satan and his Antichrist. Your eternal destiny will be decided by your choice – the new Heaven and new Earth or the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:15 and 21:1-3)

ISRAEL WILL RULE ALL OF THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD

If only the world knew that the tiny nation of Israel is the nation God established for His purposes and in the not too distant future it will finally fulfill its destiny when Jesus returns to destroy the Antichrist’s army at the battle of Armageddon. Jesus will then set up His Millennial Kingdom from a reconstructed Jerusalem on the highest mountain of the world.

Jerusalem in the Millennium on the highest mountain. During the time God pours out His wrath upon an unrepentant world with the Trumpet (Revelation 8:6-) and Bowl judgements (Revelation 16:1-), the topography of the world is changed.

“And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found. And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.” Revelation 16:30

Thank goodness God told us in advance how the end times will play out for both Jews and Christians. It is a time of tribulation that escalates to great tribulation before God steps in and raptures the living Saints to heaven, but not before He raises the dead in Christ first.

Where do you stand with God? Proverbs 9:10 tells us that: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”, do you fear Him? You should as He hold your future in His hands. If you reject His wonderful offer of salvation through Jesus Christ then you will face His coming wrath, poured out with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements. I have given you the Scriptures outlining what is coming, Do you really want to face them?

The fifth Trumpet judgement: “Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth. They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. They were allowed to torment them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings someone. And in those days people will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them.” Revelation 9:3-6

Time is short, This is the most important decision you will ever make, Where you spend eternity is the outcome.
