What are the four specific signs of Jesus Christ Coming? In Matthew 24, the Olivet Discourse, Jesus told his disciples a number of signs, but only four were specific. Most of the signs of Jesus’ return were general, or warnings if you like, which let us know the “season” of His coming. But there are four specific signs every Christian should know. The first specific sign tells us when the final period of the end times begins (see my recent post, The Most Important End-Times Sign) and then three signs to be able to recognize Jesus when he comes. Watch this very important Nelson Walters video to learn these four signs.

THE GREATNESS OF GOD
We vote politicians in and out of office, but we cannot elect or remove God from His throne.
“To whom then will you liken God, or what likeness compare with him? … Do you not know? Do you not hear? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain and spreads them like a tent to dwell in; who brings princes to nothing, and makes the rulers of the earth as emptiness.
Scarcely are they planted, scarcely sown, scarcely has their stem taken root in the earth, when He blows on them, and they wither, and the tempest carries them off like stubble. To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him? says the Holy One.
Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name; by the greatness of His might and because He is strong in power, not one is missing… Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable.” Isaiah 40:18, 21-28

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:1-4
TURKEY’S ROLE IN THE END TIMES
The current war between Armenia and Azerbaijan is in fact a continuation of an on-off conflict that has continued since the late 1980s. What is new is the technology at use.
Erdogan backs Azerbaijan with the aim to ‘Make Turkey Great Again’. The Turkish leader has made little secret of a broader agenda, characterizing his government’s stance as an expression of its deserved place as a leader in the world order (a revived Ottoman Empire). As I have mentioned many times now, Turkey features prominently in Biblical “end times” prophecy particularly as the goat in Daniel 8.
Turkey has played an immense role in helping build Azerbaijan’s military.

Turkey has used its drone force to destroy dozens of tanks and other armored vehicles and artillery in northern Syria. It has positioned itself as one of the world’s major producers of armed drones and unmanned combat air vehicles (UCAV’s). Erdogan’s success with the drones in Syria and now the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is most likely one of the reasons he has been so outspoken about his aim to “Make Turkey Great Again
Research by Forbes indicates that Armenian losses currently include nearly 200 armored vehicles and over 300 soft-skinned vehicles, all destroyed by unmanned drones. To be sure, the tanks destroyed by the drones were relatively geriatric Soviet-era T-72’s, but the top armor of tanks is always the weakest — and that’s where the drones’ missiles always strike.
At the same time, Turkey (Goat/Sunni) is exerting its military strength in Azerbaijan and Syria, Iran (Ram/Shia) is even more aggressive with its proxies in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Gaza. It is only a matter of time before we see the Goat and Ram conflict outlined in Daniel 8.
“And the goat had a conspicuous horn between his eyes. He came to the ram with the two horns, which I had seen standing on the bank of the canal, and he ran at him in his powerful wrath. I saw him come close to the ram, and he was enraged against him and struck the ram and broke his two horns. And the ram had no power to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled on him. And there was no one who could rescue the ram from his power.” Daniel 8:5b-7
THE MOST IMPORTANT END TIMES PROPHECY
We can expect that Jesus will be the one that gives us the most important end-times prophecies. The following end-times prophecy by Jesus is the first specific prophecy, as well, it calls for action. Jesus even says “let the reader understand” and He tells us to go to Daniel for more information on the man described as “abomination of desolation”.
“So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” Matthew 24:15-16
“It (Little Horn/Antichrist) became great, even as great as the Prince of the host. And the regular burnt offering was taken away from him, and the place of his sanctuary was overthrown. And a host will be given over to it together with the regular burnt offering because of transgression, and it will throw truth to the ground, and it will act and prosper.” Daniel 8:11-12
“For how long is the vision concerning the regular burnt offering, the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled underfoot?” Daniel 8:13

ONLY AFTER THE TRIBULATION, WILL JESUS RETURN
Dr Brock Hollett does a great job of expounding Scripture to show Jesus return to rapture the church will not occur until after the great tribulation and the appearance of the Antichrist (Abomination of Desolation) described by Jesus in the Olivet Discourse.
I do not think that Samuel Frost made his case for the partial preterist position. Let me know what you think and why. It would be good to get some feedback so I know how to help you, and no doubt you can help me particularly to connect with other Christians who have a passion for revealing the truth about Jesus and therefore about God.
NATIONS UNDER JUDGEMENT
The modern culture has long abandoned any sense of biblical morality, and thereby forfeited even a general, common grace. There is mass confusion, division, in fact, open rebellion against God, not only in most western nations but even within the church.
If you’re looking at everything going on and have not wondered if we are seeing the judgment of God playing out before our eyes, I would say you are spiritually blind for the simple reason that there is ample Biblical evidence that the judgment of God has been released on cultures given over to a debased mind (Romans. 1). The church is likewise being brought to task for a debased mind. Moreover, most nations have long been under judgment.
In the USA, the fact that two young police officers can be shot at point-blank and all the bystanders do is film it in delight is beyond belief. Worse still, several others knew which hospital to block off the entrance to, and chant that they hoped the officers would die. There were no protests for these two officers. No looting. No burning buildings. No calls from activists for justice. Sadly, you won’t find sermons on any of this from woke Christians either. Instead, all you will continue to see is the case being made to dismantle the justice system because it is fundamentally corrupt, and how white churches are not safe for minorities.
The fact that many in the church want to link arms with movements born out of a hatred for God Himself simply reinforces that the issue is one of conformity to this age. And it is not just on this issue, the broader culture has become so degraded any semblance of proper sexuality is long gone and we can expect only new, twisted expressions of debauchery. This is perhaps no more clearly seen than in the recent escapade surrounding the sexualization of 11-year-olds, as even some professing Christians came to the defense in saying there was an overblown reaction to what was laid bare for the whole world to see. Most Christians automatically decried Cuties for its exploitation of these young girls, yet there were still some who defended it.

On top of the child abuse scandals in the Roman Catholic church, we now see 218 people in the Southern Baptist Convention who were found to be criminal abusers of children. It seems many professing Christians are masters at making excuses and leaving room for grotesque forms of sin.
Those who are Christian in name only will not be willing to pay the cost associated with proclaiming the Lordship of Christ.
The churches in the Middle East, Africa and Asia are blooming anew in the midst of incredible suffering for the sake of the gospel. Whilst the lamp in the West starts to sputter another is fanned into flame. The gates of Hell cannot prevail. The gospel goes forward while the Lord is at work in far greater things than our little minds can possibly comprehend.
PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS IN THE LAST DAYS
“Christians are the eye of the target and they are coming after them,” warned Dede Laugesen with Save the Persecuted Christians. The numbers are staggering. Leading human rights groups say what’s going on in Nigeria is a genocide. “Over the last 20 years, there have been massive attacks against Christians,” Jeff King, president of International Christian Concern (ICC) said. “50 to 70 thousand have been murdered.” For years, the main terror group was Boko Haram, which seeks to overthrow the government and create an Islamic state. “They go after Christians and moderate Muslims, they push a hard-line Muslim agenda and it is their intention to establish a caliphate and to rid all of Nigeria and West Africa of any Western influence whatsoever,” Laugesen said. Now, there’s a new actor on the scene.
In Nigeria’s “Middle Belt” region, where the Muslim North meets the Christian South a terror group made up of Muslim Fulani herders are killing thousands of Christians. More than 1,400 Christians were hacked to death in just the first seven months of 2020 by Fulani herders.
Nigeria’s Muslim president has so far done very little to stop the bloodshed. His police and army are also mostly Muslims. “The attackers are never captured, they are not prosecuted, the security services respond very slowly, a full day can go on with attacks happening and no security shows up and frequently the government officials will provide cover,” explained Laugesen.
Read what Jesus said we can expect in the “end times” before He returns to earth to rule and reign with a rod of iron. We need to start living our lives with an eternal focus now.
“But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name’s sake. This will be your opportunity to bear witness. Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer, for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict. You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death. You will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But not a hair of your head will perish. By your endurance, you will gain your lives.” Luke 21:12-17
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28
TOUGH SCRIPTURES ON TRIBULATION AND PERSECUTION BUT
“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. Beware of men, for they will deliver you over to courts and flog you in their synagogues, and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them and the Gentiles“ Matthew 10:16-18
“As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away.” Matthew 13:20-21, Mark 4:16-17
“strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:22
“For when we were with you, we kept telling you beforehand that we were to suffer affliction, just as it has come to pass, and just as you know. For this reason, when I could bear it no longer, I sent to learn about your faith, for fear that somehow the tempter had tempted you and our labor would be in vain.” 1 Thessalonians 3:4-5
Here is the BUT
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” NO, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39
Peter explained how Christians should respond when they suffer because of their beliefs. Called the “apostle of hope,” Peter’s primary message is to trust the Lord, live obediently no matter what your circumstances, and keep your hope fixed on God’s ultimate promise of deliverance. Suffering is to be expected, but it is temporary and yields great blessings for those who remain steadfast. Peter probably wrote 1 & 2 Peter in the mid-60s A.D.
God ordains, or appoints genuine believers to suffer, with the explicit purpose of bringing us to final glorification. It tests our faith, removes the impurities thereof, and produces perseverance in us so that we might behold Him face to face and enter the Kingdom of God. Naturally then, it must be restated that those who do not endure cannot obtain the crown of life. Suffering then not only waves a banner for us to see Christ more clearly and behold Him in faith, it separates the sheep from the goats (Matthew 13:20-21).

WILL CHRISTIANS BE LABELLED DURING THE COMING TRIBULATION?
Jews in lands occupied by Nazi Germany were required to wear a yellow star identifying themselves.

The Journal of Theoretical Biology (JTB) editors apparently feel that scientists with “creationist” connections should be required to reveal this whenever they submit a paper. People who lived under the Soviet Union had similar experiences. Under Communism, members of disfavored groups were theoretically free to work and live as they wished. Yet to have “Jew,” for example, stamped on your passport was a guarantee of punishing discrimination.
Just read the disclaimer that the editors of the Journal of Theoretical Biology (JTB) appended to the recent peer-reviewed paper they published on Intelligent Design. This important paper, argues for intelligent design in the context of biological fine-tuning. It seems that the censors got hold of the editors, who backed down and repented, claiming they were quite surprised to discover what they themselves had approved and published. Here’s the relevant language from the disclaimer:
Since the publication of the paper, it has now become evident that the authors are connected to a creationist group (although their addresses are given on the paper as departments in bona fide universities). We were unaware of this fact while the paper was being reviewed.
Much as Jews in lands occupied by Nazi Germany were required to wear a yellow star identifying themselves, JTB’s editors apparently feel that scientists with “creationist” connections should be required to reveal this whenever they submit a paper.
As “end times” prophesied persecution steps up and we move into the last three and a half years of great tribulation prior to Jesus return, God’s Word tells us the reverse will be true, all that follow the Antichrist will carry his mark, the mark of the Beast. Christians will face death rather than take the Antichrist’s mark.
“Also it (Antichrist) causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.” Revelation 13:16-18
TRUMP WILL BE REELECTED
Trump will be reelected President of the USA this month. This prophecy by Dr. Francis Myles and many other prophecies show us that God is in control and He will bring this outcome to pass. Impossible in the natural but obvious when one knows the truth about God and His Word.
