A NEW TEMPLE WILL BE BUILT IN JERUSALEM BUT WHERE?

When people visit Jerusalem’s Old City, they may believe it’s the same place King David set up as his capital more than 3,000 years ago. But that’s not the case. Archaeologists are uncovering the original city and telling others its amazing story.

As seen in the graphic, we can see several important geographical features, including the Mount of Olives, the traditional Temple Mount, the Kidron Valley, the Central Valley, the Gihon Spring, and the current site for the city of David.

Anarina Heymann serves as the outreach coordinator for the City of David.

“Welcome to the City of David,” Heymann told CBN News. “It’s the home to the ancient biblical Jerusalem and up until 150 years ago, everybody thought that the ancient biblical Jerusalem lies within the confines of the Old City right behind you in the wall—within the walls there. So the question is, what happened 150 years ago, and where is the ancient biblical Jerusalem?”

She then helped answer that question by explaining how the City of David lay hidden for nearly 2,000 years until a British archaeologist began a discovery that continues to this day.

“Chris, we’re standing at a magical place right now,” Heymann continued. “This is the place when Charles Warren came through the fascia that he found. He saw something. And when Charles Warren saw this, he knew that he rediscovered the ancient biblical Jerusalem.”

Asked if this Warren’s work was the beginning of the unveiling of the City of David in modern times, she responded, “Exactly, because we’re speaking of a 2,000- year period where nobody knew where the ancient city was. Most people thought when they—when they came—that what they saw in the Old City, that was ancient biblical Jerusalem. It’s only when he found this that they discovered … the ancient Jerusalem lies outside of what we call today the Old City.”

The discovery of the tunnel system known as Warren’s Shaft visually tells how King David captured the city and brings the Bible to life.

Gihon Springs - Jerusalem 101

“When we saw this, we suddenly saw exactly how the picture came together,” Heymann continued. “And many times when we do excavations, we also don’t know what we’re looking at and then we have to go to the Bible and that starts explaining it. So it’s the Bible and then the excavations and the excavations and the Bible coming together, giving us the full picture of ancient Jerusalem.”

Anointing Israel’s Kings

Further down, archaeologists found where men became kings.

“Most of the kings of Israel were anointed where we’re standing right now. We are standing at the place of anointing. And Isaiah says you will draw forth water with joy from the springs of salvation,” she said.

In fact, the City of David echoes with the people of the Bible.

“Abraham, when he met Melchizedek, but then we get to David, to Solomon, we get to Isaiah when he was giving his prophecies on these very walls here,” she said. “Jeremiah, afterwards, when he had to speak about the destruction that was looming over Jerusalem … all those things happening exactly where we’re standing right now.”

More than 10 years ago, archaeologists uncovered another biblical site, the Pool of Siloam, which was fed by the nearby Gihon Spring. It’s the place where Jesus healed the blind man and also where the Jewish people would gather for the Feasts of the Lord.

“Three times a year, all the men had to come to the mikvah [ritual bath] in the pool and from there get ready to go to Temple Mount and this is the walk, the final ascent, that all the pilgrims can do again when they come to Jerusalem,” she explained.

Heymann sees this final ascent as a merger between archaeology and prophecy.

Opening a Door to the Future

“Something amazing is happening because you see that we are now excavating this road and again prophecy is being fulfilled because it says in Isaiah ‘build up, build up the road,’ the highway. And it says remove the stones for my people’s return,” she said.

One ongoing excavation is the tunnel leading from the Pool of Siloam to the Temple Mount. Heymann says it reveals the past and opens a door to the future.

One of the City of David’s most ambitious projects is an excavation called the Givati, where the entire history of Jerusalem is being revealed as if the rocks are crying out.

“You can see exactly how she [Jerusalem)] slowly disappeared from civilisation because one city was built upon the other, and you could see how probably the city could have lost hope, thinking ‘Who’s ever going to discover me again? Until God says, but in a time of favour, nothing can stop it and that’s what we see in Givati. Jerusalem is slowly being revealed,” she said.

She sees prophecy unfolding.

“We’re starting to see in the last decade, the blueprint. She’s starting to share what she looked like to us again. So you can see how prophecy is speeding up as we go. It’s said [Hebrew] ‘shake off your dust, arise, take your rightful place, Jerusalem.’ If you see the excavations here on a daily basis, you can see the buckets flying. You can see the dust literally flying about, how she’s shaking off her dust.”

Heymann considers her role in the City of David a privilege.

“I call myself the luckiest person in the world—the luckiest girl in the world—because I have the opportunity to take what we see here and tell the people about the City of David, about the ancient Jerusalem, and every person that is passionate about Jerusalem and serious about biblical prophecy needs to know this,” she said.

PROPHESIED END TIMES INCREASED PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS EVIDENT NOW

While Samaritan’s Purse has treated hundreds of COVID-19 patients at its field hospital in Central Park, New York City Council Speaker Corey Johnson demanded that the Christian charity leave the city over its biblical views on homosexuality.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is 138887_w_760_507.jpg

“It is time for Samaritan’s Purse to leave New York City. This group, led by the notoriously bigoted, hate-spewing Franklin Graham, came at a time when our city couldn’t in good conscience turn away any offer of help. That time has passed,” Johnson wrote on Twitter Saturday. “Their continued presence here is an affront to our values of inclusion, and is painful for all New Yorkers who care deeply about the LGBTQ community.”

State Senator Brad Hoylman (openly gay member of the State Senate), who represents the district where Beth Israel is located said in a press release Friday: “It was bad enough that Donald Trump’s failure to prepare the nation for this pandemic forced New York to accept charity from a bigot like Franklin Graham. Inviting Graham to stay on longer is an insult to LGBTQ New Yorkers and sends the dangerous message that homophobia and transphobia are acceptable.”

Hoylman said. “On behalf of the LGBTQ community I represent, I demand they end their association with Franklin Graham and Samaritan’s Purse, or risk further reputational harm with LGBTQ New Yorkers and the wider public.”

Denny Burk, professor of biblical studies at Boyce College, the undergraduate arm of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, responded to Johnson’s tweets and argued that Christians are the ones being discriminated against.

“This open hostility to Christianity is breathtaking. Christians have always believed that marriage is the union of one man and one woman and that all sexual relations outside marriage are by definition immoral, It’s not a particularly popular point of view in the secular West, but it is what all faithful Christians everywhere throughout the 2,000-year history of the church have always believed. This is nothing new.

“What is new is the notion that real live Christians are unwelcome to live and work and practice their faith in New York. That is an innovation of recent vintage and is nothing more than unvarnished animus—invidious discrimination. If Christians are not allowed to practice their faith in NYC, rest assured that it is only a matter of time before they won’t be allowed to practice it anywhere in the U.S.”

IRAN: GOD IS WORKING IN MIRACULOUS WAYS

Hormoz Shariat, president and founder of Iran Alive Ministries says, “Christianity has more credibility and respect among a large number of Muslims than Islam itself”. “Iranian Muslims used to say, ‘Islam is good, and it’s just the government that has a problem.’ No, Iran has passed that point. It has come to the point that many say, ‘Islam has major flaws and problems itself.’ People are fed up with the hypocrisy of what Islam has done to this society. And every time things happen [in the news], another layer of the veil of Islam is removed. People look at what Islam is, and a greater number of people will be abandoning Islam and coming to Christ.”

Shariat told Charisma Magazine, one Iranian Christian called to tell him that he got arrested after starting house churches. He had to seek medical treatment for the beatings he received. But the man told Shariat, “Pastor, do not give up. Don’t worry about us. I had the honour of being tortured for Christ. Do you remember Psalm 23? I had the honour of experiencing that verse in the torture chamber. How can you experience that if your enemies are not there? My enemies are there, but my sweet Jesus was there also.”

Shariat has spoken to many Muslims through his work with Iran Alive Ministries and says many of them are frustrated with Islam. Mosques across Iran are reportedly emptying.

VISIONS AND MANIFESTATIONS

Iranians’ increasing rejection of Islam has made them more open to other religions, including Christianity. And Jesus is utilizing supernatural means to reach some of these former Muslims, sources tell Charisma.

Though many American Christians don’t believe Jesus physically appears to people anymore, Joel Richardson, who co-produced Sheep Among Wolves, Volume II, describes a recurring phenomenon in the Middle East that challenges that belief. Multiple people describe remarkably similar encounters in which a “man in white,” identified by many as Jesus, appears to them.

While interviewing a woman from Afghanistan, Richardson referenced cessationist theology: “John MacArthur, a well-known preacher here in the States, says that Jesus is not really appearing to Muslims. What do you have to say about that?”

The woman responded, “I don’t know who John MacArthur is, but I do know the man in white who has been appearing to Muslims.”

Henry says he’s met many Muslims in Iran who report seeing this “man in white.” He even says one Muslim he met wrote down the entire Gospel of John due to the “man in white” appearing to him and telling him to do so. This Muslim—who lived in a mud hut and had no electricity, gas or phone line—had never even heard of Jesus.

The man told Henry, “A man in white knocks on my door every night. And every time I open the door, I can’t look at his face, but he tells me to write these things down.”

“How long has he been coming?” Henry asked the man, and the man gave him the notebook containing the words he’d been commanded to write. Henry was astonished to discover it was the entire book of John, verbatim. He concluded that Jesus had been visiting the man every night. Eventually, Henry says, the whole city came to Jesus because of this man’s testimony, and he was forced to flee for his life.

Bagheri says these kinds of miraculous visitations by Christ are actually the main way Iranians come to faith.

Hope the trailer inspires you to get both films

DISCIPLESHIP

Richardson says discipleship in Iran is the main reason why their churches are flourishing. That said, the Western model of church—such as the typical Sunday morning services—doesn’t work well in Iran.

“The way that we in the West do church is not always conducive to discipleship,” Richardson says. “In that sense, I would say it’s the focus on Sunday church that can be the problem in the West. ‘Christian’ [in America] is defined by someone who goes to church regularly, whereas biblically, a Christ follower—a Christian—is a disciple; it’s someone who’s actively engaged in an obedience-based relationship.”

Evangelical efforts within Iran are strictly based on reaching individuals, such as family members and close friends, as opposed to large groups. One-on-one evangelism is the safest and most effective model for the Iranian community.”

The leadership is decentralised and it’s distributed. It’s not based around a particular individual or skill set or gifting. It’s built around an Ephesians 4 framework of empowering everyone in the body [of Christ] to be all things to all men with the fullness of the power of the Holy Spirit being manifest through all of us. … The entire body of Christ should have the yoke of leadership upon them for disciple-making, for the apostolic, for the prophetic, for the evangelistic, for the pastoral and for the teaching.”

“Virtually every woman in Iran probably has faced some level of sexual harassment or outright rape or abuse, either by bosses or by family members, ” Joel Richardson says. “In a place of profound brokenness in that culture, the Lord is using the most broken. These women—in their healing and their restoration—are among the most deliberate and passionate [evangelists], now that they have been set free from so much of the pain they’ve had to endure.”

Women have not risen to power in the church out of a desire to rebel against authority, according to the documentary. They are gentle and submissive—and willing to risk their lives to obey the Great Commission.

END TIMES PROPHESIED SHAKING

Severe hailstorms strike India destroying homes and crops

In the last days before Jesus returns, God said everything that could be shaken will be shaken so we will understand that neither us nor our governments are in control.

Rounds of hailstorms over the past weeks have wreaked havoc in various parts of India. According to reports from the Watchers, In Mizoram, the hail struck nearly 800 homes as confirmed by disaster management and rehabilitation minister in Lalchamliana on April 29, 2020.

Severe hailstorms strike India destroying homes and crops

In Haryana, more than 618 thousand acres of crops were leveled by heavy showers and hail over the past weekend. In West Bengal, up to 8 million dollars’ worth of mango was destroyed in Malda as a result of a hailstorm last week.

Meanwhile, In the northeastern state of Mizoram, 46 of the houses were totally destroyed, while 749 others sustained partial damage, according to Lalchamliana’s report, Nine out of 11 districts were affected, including 58 villages.

According to the report, The state government in India will provide all possible help to those who have been impacted by the storms. The worst-affected area is the Hliappui village in east Mizoram’s Saitual district, with a total of 268 residential areas struck, 189 of which were completely damaged.

Covid pandemic, locust plagues and now hail, all severe and causing extreme hardship and damage which will ultimately cause famine across Africa and India. Already, there is an emerging food shortage in Zimbabwe.  The Agricultural Minister Perrance Shiri said that there was only enough grain in reserves to last just over a month.  There has been little rain and Cyclone Idai’s destruction of soil has not been recovered from, so crops are struggling.

Birth pangs are increasing exactly as prophesied. All can be averted, if we would only repent and turn back to God. He promises to heal/restore the land if we will humble ourselves and pray. Will we? Many Christians are praying as never before but will it cause our leaders and therefore nations to turn from their evil ways. Sadly, most don’t because we already know the outcome from God’s Word. We are fast approaching the time when God will pour out His wrath on an unrepentant world.

KINGDOM MESSAGE FROM PASTOR JEFF

A short 7 minute message – fear the living God not men.

God’s Kingdom will come and Jesus will rule with a rod of iron during His coming Millennial reign. To fulfil the promises God made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Jesus will rule the nations from Jerusalem for 1000 years exactly as the Bible outlines. Sadly, we also know that most nations are goat nations, they don’t fear the living God. They will persecute God’s people during the time leading up to The Day of the Lord when Jesus takes His saints to heaven and pours out His wrath upon the unrepentant still on earth. When the seals have been removed and The Scroll is opened, The Wrath of God is released on the earth with the trumpet and bowl judgements. Fear the living God not men, wise advice.

GOD IS BUILDING HIS KINGDOM

Great article by Joseph Mattera (josephmattera.org)

15 Contrasts Between the Kingdom Age and Religious Systems

I believe now is the time in which God is shaking the global church and establishing Kingdom principles. God is ripping away and exposing extraneous second-tier traditions and denominational positions that are opposed to His kingdom. Believers need to understand the difference between the characteristics of the kingdom and man-made religion. The body of Christ and its surrounding environment will be transformed only through proper alignment with His kingdom.

The following are 15 contrasts between the kingdom age and religious systems:

  1. The kingdom focuses on manifesting God in the earth, while religion focuses on applying its traditions inside church buildings.

The word “kingdom” implies that there is a king who rules within a region. Psalm 24:1 teaches us that the earth belongs to the Lord, and Psalm 22:28 tells us His kingdom rules over all nations, not just over the church. Consequently, we in His kingdom are called to show that the cross of Christ impacted the whole cosmos, not just the church realm (Col. 1:12-13, 1:20).

  1. The kingdom transforms individuals from within, while religion focuses on observing outward rituals.

Jesus taught us that God requires truth in the inner man (Matt. 5-7, 23; Ps. 51:6). Hence, the kingdom focuses on inner transformation, while religion concentrates primarily on observing church rituals (Luke 17:21). Christ-centered spiritual disciplines help create proper habits of the heart that are conducive to growth in the knowledge and love of God.

  1. The kingdom releases all believers to the work of the ministry, while religion merely releases professional clergy to minister.

In the kingdom, all believers are both kings and priests (Rom. 5:17, 1 Pet. 2:8-9). In religion, only those trained in seminary and who are employed in church ministry are considered priests.

  1. The kingdom sees the Spirit poured out upon all flesh. Religion sees the Spirit move only during Sunday services.

The apostle Peter made it clear that the Resurrection inaugurated the kingdom age, which was seen when the Holy Spirit was poured out upon every culture, tribe, kindred, tongue and nation (Acts 2:17). Two of the results of the outpouring was that God was no longer restricted to the religious Jews, and His Spirit was not limited to the most holy place in their temple. Despite this, many in the body of Christ continue to restrict the Holy Spirit to moving only within the four walls of a building during mass or church services.

  1. In the kingdom, the Scriptures have primary ecclesiastical authority. In religion, second-tier religious tradition has primary ecclesial authority.

This second-tier religious tradition is an issue not only for the Roman Catholics, who put custom and canon law on equal terms with Scripture, but also for the Orthodox Church. Many people place the writings of the apostolic fathers on the same level as the Holy Scriptures. Many evangelical Protestant denominations, Pentecostal and non-Pentecostal churches also have second-tier traditions that they regard as primary authority as they relate to Christian practices.

  1. In the kingdom, the presence of God is wherever the believer goes. In religion, the presence of God is at the altar of their church building.

In the kingdom, the power and presence of God that heals, delivers and saves the oppressed were commonly manifested in the streets. God wants to unleash an army of believers who will turn the world upside down, but religion wants to keep believers closeted inside church buildings.

  1. In the kingdom, the fivefold minister equips the saints to do the work of the ministry. In religion, the fivefold minister does the job of the ministry.

Traditional religious systems keep people dependent upon professional clergy to pray for the sick, counsel, preach and represent God to the world. In the kingdom, fivefold ministry gifts are focused not on doing the work of the ministry but on equipping the saints to do the work of the ministry (Eph. 4:11-12).

  1. In the kingdom, the ministry focus is Monday to Saturday. In religion, the ministry focus is Sunday.

People participating in kingdom-focused churches cannot wait until Monday comes. Whereas those who are trapped in religious systems will only see purpose and meaning during church services.

  1. In the kingdom, the church is sent to serve its community. In religion, the church strives to get the community into the church.

Kingdom-focused churches equip believers to be the problem-solvers of society. They provide them with a biblical worldview to frame their service in every vocation that affects communities. In the kingdom, it is not about how many people attend church services; rather, it is about how many people in the church are sent out to transform their world!

  1. In the kingdom, the focus of concern is for the whole body of Christ. In religion, the primary focus is only on the denomination/local church.

Any person with a kingdom agenda will be concerned about the health of the entire body of Christ. Those with a religious mindset are sectarian and only care about the health of their denomination or church.

  1. In the kingdom, every sphere of life is integrated under King Jesus. In religion, the church stays out of the public square.

The kingdom of God prophetically speaks to societal structures such as law, politics, economics, families, art and business. In religion, the view is that such things are unimportant, unspiritual and therefore should be left to the concern of the world.

  1. In the kingdom, Jesus is the King of kings. In religion, He is merely the symbolic leader of the church.

In the kingdom, Jesus is not only the head of the church, but He is also the King of kings (Rev. 19:16). This is the most politically charged statement anyone can make about Jesus! Jesus is the political head of every president, politician, governor and mayor. It obligates every believer to be politically active by voting and doing their part to speak truth to power, as well as elect candidates who best represent kingdom values.

  1. In the kingdom, the church is the salt of the earth. In religion, the believer is the salt of the church.

Jesus called His followers to reflect His character and values. He called them to be the salt of the earth and light of the world, not the salt of the church and light of religion.

  1. The kingdom participates with Christ in the renewal of all things. Religion is focused on perpetuating its traditions in the church.

Every person in a kingdom-focused church should understand that the Great Commission involves influencing people groups and subcultures, not just individuals (Matt. 28:19). People stuck in religious systems work only to perpetuate the second-tier traditions of their church members.

  1. The kingdom engages culture, while religion escapes the earth.

The nature of religion is that it wants to create an enclave of safety from the unpredictable realities of the unredeemed world; religion is mystical, not practical or spiritual. However, disciples of the kingdom view every global challenge as an opportunity to be a problem solver and seek to reflect Christ to the surrounding culture.

THE LORD HAS MADE A FOREVER PROMISE TO ISRAEL

The Lord revealed to all of the O.T prophets that He would restore the Jews to their land and have a descendant of King David to rule the nations from Jerusalem at His preordained time. Here are just a few of the Scriptures.

“Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgements and do them. Then you shall dwell in the Land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God (King).” Ezekiel 36:25-28

“My temple will stand in Israel for all time, and I will live among My people and be their God. Every nation on earth will know that My temple is in Israel and that I have chosen the Israelites to be My people.” Ezekiel 37:24-28

“I the Lord God, will protect Jerusalem. Even the weakest person there will be as strong as David, and David’s kingdom will rule as though My very own angel were its leader. I am determined to wipe out every nation that attacks Jerusalem. I the Lord, will make the descendants of David and the people of Jerusalem feel deep sorrow and pray when they see the one, they pierced with a spear. They will mourn and weep for him as parents weep over the death of their only child or their first born” Zechariah 12:8-10

“I, the Lord, have an agreement with day and night, so they always come at the right time. You can’t break the agreements I made with them, and you can’t break the agreements I have made with David’s family and with the priests from the Levi tribe to serve at my altar. A descendant of David will always rule as king of Israel, and there will be more descendants of David and of the priests from the tribe of Levi than the stars in the sky or grains of sand on the beach.” Jeremiah 33:20-22

“Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. They shall be My people, and I will be their God (King); then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me (righteousness). Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this Land, with all My heart and with all My soul.” For thus says the LORD: “<b><i>Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.” Jeremiah 32:37-42

“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.Jeremiah 31:31-34

In the future, I will rebuild David’s fallen kingdom. I will rebuild it from its ruins and set it up again, just as it used to be… I’ll make Israel prosper again. You will rebuild your towns and live in them. You will drink wine from your vineyards and eat the fruit you grow. I’ll plant your roots deep in the land I have given you, and you won’t ever be uprooted again. I, the Lord God have spoken.” Amos 9:11-15

Listen to what Moses said to all Israel even before they entered the Promised Land

“Now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God drives you, and you return to the Lord your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul, that the Lord your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you. If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you. Then the Lord your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. Deuteronomy 30:1-6

Paul also confirms that God has a wonderful end to the story for Israel – “and so all Israel will be saved”.

“A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so, all Israel will be saved. From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:25-26, 28-29

Finally, after the Millennium reign of Jesus there will be the second resurrection and the Great White Throne Judgement: “Then I, John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride for her husband.” Revelation 21:2

UN WARNS MILLIONS COULD DIE OF MULTIPLE FAMINES

Surely, Christians at least, must now recognise we are living in Biblical “end times”. The famines, pestilences, economic hardships and apostasy (churches compromising with the world’s values) evident in the world match exactly the signs Jesus gave His disciples in the Olivet Discourse of the time before His return to rescue His saints, prior to pouring out His wrath on an unbelieving world.

The UN warns that millions could die in ‘”multiple famines of biblical proportions” in pandemic. Note the use of the word biblical. Look what else Jesus said Christians can look forward to during the time before His return; persecution, betrayal even death. Pastors are you preparing the church to be disciples and part of preaching the gospel of the kingdom to all nations despite the coming tribulation?

“And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:7-14

An estimated 300,000 people could begin starving to death daily in “multiple famines of biblical proportions” within months amid the coronavirus pandemic, warned head of the World Food Program David Beasley.

Describing the coronavirus pandemic as “the worst humanitarian crisis since World War II” in a presentation to the United Nations Security Council Tuesday, Beasley warned that the number of people suffering from hunger could go from 135 million to more than 250 million and urgent action was needed, especially when it comes to vulnerable populations in conflict-driven countries.

“If we can’t reach these people with the life-saving assistance they need, our analysis shows that 300,000 people could starve to death every single day over a three-month period,” Beasley said.

Remember, most of these countries are already suffering from unprecedented locust plagues.

BOTH ISLAM AND ORTHODOX JEWISH LEADERS BELIEVE THEIR MESSIAHS COMING IS IMMINENT

These two recent articles, one on Islam’s Messiah and the other on the Orthodox Jewish Messiah is further evidence the end times Antichrist figure spoken about in the Bible is soon to appear on the scene.

1. THE MAHDI ISLAM’S MESSIAH FIGURE

Shia’s (15%) Mahdi vs. Sunni’s (85%) Al-Mahdi (pop. %)

Mahdi is the title of the prophesied redeemer of Islam who will rule for seven, nine, or nineteen years (according to differing interpretations) before the Day of Judgement literally, the Day of Resurrection and rid the world of evil. According to Islamic traditions, the Mahdi’s tenure will coincide with the Second Coming of Jesus (Isa), who will assist the Mahdi against the Masih ad-Dajjal (literally, the “false Messiah” or Antichrist).

Differences exist in the concept of the Mahdi between Sunni Muslims and adherents of the Shia tradition; for Sunnis, the Mahdi is Muhammad’s successor who is yet to come, while for most Shia Muslims, the Mahdi was born but disappeared and will remain hidden from humanity until he reappears to bring justice to the world.

The belief by Muslims in the Mahdi as the end -time redeemer and the one to usher in an age of global peace makes him a strong candidate for the Biblical Antichrist.

There are Shia Muslim leaders in Iran today who claim to have met the Mahdi numerous times.  Writing in the Jerusalem Post on January 20, Brian Schrauger explained: “Crazy to Western ears, this messianic creed of the Mahdi is the raison d’être for the Islamic Republic of Iran according to its founders and leaders. It is also the basis of Tehran’s foreign and military policies; and it is impossible to overemphasise the Iran regime’s visceral commitment to it. The Imam Mahdi is invoked in every public gathering, both civil and military; he is the singular inspiration for every policy, every tactic, every mission; indeed, he is nothing less than the regime’s reason for its existence and, as such, its singular and unwavering motivation for the future.” And Schrauger can provide documentation for every single claim he has made.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei Is One Despot Trump Might Not ...

In the words of Iran’s Supreme leader Ayatollah Khamanei, “The Iranian nation, enjoys a great privilege today: the atmosphere of the country is an atmosphere of Imam Mahdi. . . .”  And, Khamanei states, “many of our great scholars have personally met with this beloved [Imam] of hearts of the admirers during his occultation; many have made a pledge to him in person; many have heard from him some heartwarming words; many have been caressed by him and many others have received his kindness, care, and love.”

So, the Islamic Mahdi is here according Ayatollah Khamanei, he is known to many insiders, and he is about to be revealed. And remember: this article was written before Iran was smitten with COVID-19. What are the leaders thinking today?

2. THE ORTHODOX JEWISH MESSIAH

A February 20 headline in Israel Today stated that, “Israeli Rabbi says he’s already holding meetings with Messiah.” And, “Israel’s biggest rabbis are all afraid to leave the country lest they miss Messiah’s coming.”

The article, by Ryan Jones, cited a three-hour radio interview in which Rabbi Yaakov Zisholtz “told religious broadcaster Radio 2000 that Kanievsky recently told him that he (Kanievsky) is already in direct contact with the Messiah.”

Rabbi Kanievsky, now in his early 90s, is considered to be the leading authority in the ultra-Orthodox (haredi) community in Israel, and he has often spoken of the nearness of the Messiah’s coming. But it seems he is saying even more today.

According to Rabbi Zisholtz, “…the process of redemption is about to start happening very quickly and at a fast pace. It is important that people remain calm and steady to act properly in the right time. “Getting the word out now that the Messiah is closer than ever is a matter of life and death. Haven’t you heard of Gog and Magog? That is what is going to happen very soon. Right now, the situation is explosive more than you can possibly imagine. Everyone needs to know whether they are on the inside or if they are going to be left out.”

Yes, these are the words of an ultra-Orthodox rabbi in Israel, not those of an evangelical Christian, Bible in hand, with end-time prophecies heavily underlined.

While Rabbi Zisholtz was careful to say he couldn’t promise anything, he was certainly raising the bar with specific predictions and events. And again, he claimed that certain religious Jews knew exactly who the Messiah was and have even met with him.

Adding to all this was the statement of Israel’s Health Minister, Yaakov Litzman, himself ultra-Orthodox, as reported in HaAretz  on March 26 and with reference to COVID-19: “We are praying and hoping that the Messiah will arrive before Passover, the time of our redemption. I am sure that the Messiah will come and bring us out as [God] brought us out of Egypt. Soon we will go out in freedom and the Messiah will come and redeem us from all the troubles of the world.”

Well, Passover ended on April 16. And, in case you missed the news, the expected Jewish Messiah did not come. Ironically, Litzman himself contracted the virus, although he has since recovered. And for a number of reasons, including heavy criticism of his handling of the crisis, he is reportedly  considering quitting.

But all this talk about the Mahdi being here, ready to be revealed, along with the traditional Jewish Messiah being here, ready to be revealed, underscores what Jesus said about false Messiahs and false prophets in the last days.

Let us, then, keep our focus on the Second Coming of the true Christ. But let us not forget the warnings about the false Messiah (Antichrist) and his False Prophet who will come first.

ABORTION – GREATEST HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE EVER

Many of USA Teenagers believe that the abortion issue is our greatest Human Rights issue of the 21st Century with no exceptions. Bar None!

For those that read my previous post  just days ago – Abortion is a National Sin. In it, I said, that unless nations repent of this heinous sin they cannot expect God to lift His hand of judgement from them. Hopefully, this move amongst young people in the USA will cause Trump to take action to overturn the Roe vs Wade Supreme Courts decision. Let’s pray that this will be the case.

All across the USA teenagers are inspired by Life. These kids grew up seeing photos of their younger siblings in 4-D ultrasounds and listening to baby brother or sister’s heartbeat at 12 weeks inside of their mom. They understand that their mom is carrying a child not a lump of tissues but a tiny human being.

Since 1973, when Roe V. Wade passed, 60 million American children have been denied the right to life. That equates to 1 child in 4 is missing from this current Gen Z generation due to abortion. Friends! Teachers! Scientists! Doctors! Artists! Athletes! Have all been terminated in the womb.

One bold and beautiful fashion brand is promoting all life from the womb to the tomb, with tees and beach bags that message “Life is Amazing” & “Babes Supporting Babes”. Culture of Life 1972 (COL1972) Fashion Brand has quickly grown to be a leader in the Pop-Culture for Life. Gen Z can not get enough of this new product, that boasts “Life is always in Style” and “Let’s Party Like It’s 1972.” There is a VIP list for those who wish to be included in new collections before they launch. There is a waiting list to become an Affiliate for the brand.

COL1972 calls their followers and customers aptly, their Life Tribe, winning others to the side of life every day with their fun fashionable and friendly clothing.

The best part is that 100% of the profits give back to women and children in crisis.

“Pop-culture has proudly glamorised the Culture of Death with messaging that abortion is empowering and even fun. Our brand and tribe rejects that message and believe that a Culture of Life must be promoted for the health of our children and nation.” – Gen Z COL1972 Co-founder Vittoria D’Addesi
