We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.​ We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.

Addressing the congregation with humility and gratitude, the 69-year-old actor shared: “It took a while, but I’m finally here. If [God] can do this for me, there’s nothing He can’t do for you. The sky literally is the limit”, as reported by Geo News.

Dressed modestly in a gray T-shirt and black sweatpants, Denzel posed for photos holding his minister’s license and baptism certificate, marking a moment of profound transformation.

This spiritual milestone follows Washington’s candid remarks about his faith during a recent interview with Esquire in November. Reflecting on his beliefs in an industry often hesitant to discuss religion, he stated: “When you see me, you see the best I could do with what I’ve been given by my Lord and Saviour. I’m unafraid. I don’t care what anyone thinks.”

He continued, “Faith isn’t often talked about in Hollywood. It’s not fashionable or sexy. But that doesn’t mean people here don’t believe.” Washington dismissed assumptions about Hollywood’s collective stance on faith, adding, “There’s no ‘Church Actor Meetings.’ Faith is personal, and I carry mine openly.

Washington’s wife of 41 years, Pauletta Washington, also spoke emotionally during the ceremony, expressing her pride in her husband’s spiritual journey.

“Forty-six years later, here I’m still standing next to him as only God will have it,” she said, adding, “You are the head of our house, and you have set a great example for our children, who are now adults and understand the difference because we’ve shown them.”

Pray that God will use Denzel Washington mightily as he seeks to build God’s Kingdom here on earth.

JESUS KINGDOM WILL COME, AND HIS WILL WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN

“Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” This statement is up front in the only prayer our Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray to our Heavenly Father. How many times has this prayer been prayed, and yet it has not come to pass? But you can rest assured it will, and Biblical end-times prophecy reveals it is not too far off.

Before 1948, Israel did not exist as a nation, so all the Biblical end-times prophecies about Israel and of Jesus returning to Earth on the Mount of Olives to rescue the nation of Israel made no sense. Hence, the miraculous rebirth of Israel was the first major Biblical end-times prophecy that was fulfilled.

The Bible reveals God will regather the Jews from all the Nations, and on Jesus’ return, with Him ruling and reigning, Israel will realise her destiny as head of the Nations. 

“Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land. And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms. They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned and will cleanse them, and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” Ezekiel 37:21-23

At the beginning of Jesus’ ministry on this earth, He recited Isaiah 61:1-2 in the synagogue:

“He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” Isaiah 61:1-2

But note what He did then. “And he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. “And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.” Luke 4:20-21

Jesus did not read the rest of Isaiah’s prophecy because it refers to His second coming. Look at the incredible amount of detail it provides about what will happen at Jesus second coming to earth and during His Millennial reign.

“And the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations. Strangers shall stand and tend your flocks; foreigners shall be your plowmen and vinedressers; but you shall be called the priests of the Lord; they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God; you shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory, you shall boast. Instead of your shame, there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonour, they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore, in their land, they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy. For I the Lord love justice, hate, robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. Their offspring shall be known among the nations, and their descendants in the midst of the peoples; all who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are an offspring the Lord has blessed. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations.” Isaiah 61:2-11

To fulfil Isaiah’s and Ezekiel’s prophecies 37:21-23, as well as the many other O.T. and N.T. prophecies on Jesus’ second coming, the Millennium Kingdom is a necessary transition before the new heaven and new earth. God tells us He will make Israel one nation and make a new covenant with them. He will ensure they never backslide again. The saved and the unsaved alike will behold Jesus’ rightful place as the divine sovereign of the universe.

The millennial kingdom will also serve as a time for the restoration of all things, as God will finally put an end to sin, sickness, and death, and creation will be fully restored to its original glory.

Grok 3 got the last sentence wrong. The Millennial Kingdom is a transition period; it is not the time for the restoration of all things. In fact, whilst Satan is bound in the Abyss for most of the thousand years. God releases him at the end and he is still able to raise an army like the sand of the sea to come against Jesus and the glorified Saints.

“And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them.” Revelation 20:7-9

The restoration of all things takes place after this earth is destroyed by fire. Then, the second resurrection of the dead occurs, followed by Jesus’ White Throne judgment. Only after it, does John see the magnificent new Jerusalem descending from the new heaven onto a new Earth where only the righteous dwell.

CHRIST IS KING

Candace Owens, one of the biggest promoters of “Christ is King,” is simultaneously propping up Andrew Tate — a serial pimp, abuser, and pornographer — while claiming to be anti-pornography. Meanwhile, she’s slapping “Christ is King” on water bottles to sell to her followers. These people aren’t leading a spiritual revival. They’re running a business. The first time she tweeted Christ is King was in November of 2023.

Just like BLM turned righteous anger into a profit machine, these so-called Christian influencers are using faith and political resentment as a marketing gimmick — leveraging Christ’s name, not to glorify Him, but to glorify themselves.

“These people honour me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.” Matthew 15:8

Why this matters

The Church should have learned from the past decade of leftist manipulation. We saw how a movement. Black Lives Matter, used an agreeable phrase to dupe millions into supporting destructive ideas. And yet, many on the Right are falling for the same trap, wrapped in different rhetoric. Satan is the master deceiver.

The phrase “Christ is King” should be a proclamation of genuine faith — not a blasphemous rallying cry for internet grifters, power-hungry opportunists, or those seeking to revive failed, morally bankrupt political models. The Church’s mission is to preach the Gospel, disciple the nations, and proclaim Christ’s rule through spiritual transformation, not force.

We can’t let another movement hijack Christian language to manipulate well-meaning believers. If we don’t learn from the past, we’ll fall for the same deceptions — just repackaged for a different audience.

SYRIAN CHRISTIANS PRAYING FOR BOLDNESS

Syrian Christians continue to live out their faith with resilience, sharing the hope of Jesus Christ amid ongoing political turmoil and violence. This should be a challenge to all Christians living in countries where they can live as Christians without the hardship and persecution facing our Syrian brothers and sisters.

As their country faces deepening instability, they navigate daily hardships, including power outages, water shortages, and threats to their safety. Despite these challenges, they remain steadfast in their mission, offering spiritual and practical support to their communities while calling for prayers and divine intervention.

A report from a Syrian Christian, shared with Christian Daily International, states that the future remains uncertain for many. His name is being withheld for security reasons.

The government is more focused on “whitewashing its brutal history in the eyes of the international community, mainly Western nations, rather than addressing the dire realities faced by Syrians within the country,” the report laments.

The “crumbling infrastructure” includes inadequate healthcare, as thousands of employees have been fired because of their ethnicities and religious backgrounds, the report says.

Power outages have worsened, with the previous regime of former President Bashar al-Assad allowing six hours of electricity per day, now reduced to four hours under the current Islamist interim government — sometimes limited to just two hours. Water shortages also persist, as water pumps connected to the electrical grid struggle with the limitations of power.

However, the report highlighted the most critical issues as “blatant lawlessness and the lack of security; daily thefts, kidnappings and reprisals.”

“From the outset, numerous areas, including Christian neighborhoods and villages, have been targeted by jihadist groups,” the report says. It added that initially, Syrians were willing to see violent incidents as isolated and worked “tirelessly” to stem the tide of violence, but “instead of improving, the situation worsened.”

These troubles culminated in two “critical” recent incidents, according to the report.

The first occurred on Feb. 28 in the Damascus suburb of Jaramana, home to a Christian community. Druze militias shot a soldier affiliated with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a Sunni Islamist coalition, at a checkpoint. A ceasefire was hastily agreed upon, but the next day, rumors spread that the family of the slain soldier sought revenge. They retaliated by attacking Jaramana, killing a member of the Druze militia and injuring 10 others.

Local Christians canceled Sunday services and prayed as hundreds of armed HTS soldiers descended on the area that Sunday, intent on wresting Jaramana from the militias.

“By God’s grace, after hours of negotiations, an agreement was reached: those responsible for the soldier’s death would be handed over, and HTS troops were permitted to enter Jaramana for a military parade,” the informant said.

The second incident occurred on March 6 in the coastal region between Latakia and Tartus, inhabited by the Alawites, an ethnic group linked to former President Assad. Open Doors reported 1,500 dead, mostly civilians, but noted that contrary to some other media reports, there was no evidence of Christians being targeted.

According to communications from the new regime, several soldiers also died after militias still loyal to Assad attacked a checkpoint near Jableh city, the Syrian Christian’s report says. HTS soldiers launched a search for the culprits, and a former Assad-era mayor declared the formation of a “Military Council for the Liberation of Syria,” further escalating tensions.

“Through connections with church members and families in the coastal region, we learned that the violence had escalated into what can only be described as a massacre and ethnic cleansing, primarily targeting Alawites,” the report said.

“The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the deaths of 1,383 by March 12. Still, local estimates suggest between 7,000 and 12,000 people have been killed, including at least seven Christians.”

The Syrian Christian also conveyed the anguish of a “ministry colleague,” a lecturer at a University in Latakia, who lost many students to the violence.

“I haven’t slept for two nights,” the academic reportedly said. “It’s horrifying. Entire families wiped out. I can’t forget their cries as they pleaded for help before they were killed by those jihadists.”

Another volunteer, identified as “Brother J” from Banyas, said the killings were indiscriminate but that he trusted God for the outcome.

“No one knows when it will be their turn,” Brother J reportedly said. “Cars with no license plates, masked militias — it’s a nightmare. However, I have the joy and peace of Christ; I am ready. I surrender my life to You, Lord! May Your will be done!”

Brother J encouraged his Alawite neighbors and prayed for them, urging them to trust in God.

The report also noted that the new interim government acknowledged the atrocity and launched an investigative committee to meet with the families of victims. “However, this gesture feels insufficient in the face of such widespread suffering,” the Syrian Christian added.

He called for prayers for churches in Syria: “Pray for boldness and wisdom for the church to fulfill its role as peacemakers, promoting God’s justice, mercy, and reconciliation among Syria’s warring factions. Pray for divine guidance and protection over church leaders and members as they navigate this volatile environment.”

He also asked for prayer for the regime in power and the religious identities within Syria.

“We believe this is a pivotal moment to break the chains of oppression and bring spiritual liberation to Syria, knowing that the Holy Spirit who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4),” the informant added, requesting additional prayer for evangelistic opportunities.

“Pray for open hearts among Syria’s diverse ethnic and religious groups, particularly Alawites and Sunnis, many of whom are disillusioned by the current regime’s brutality. This is a divine opportunity for the church to proclaim the hope and eternal security found in Christ.“

“This is a historic moment for the church in Syria,” the Syrian Christian concluded in the report. “After decades under the Assad regime and even centuries of oppression, fear, seclusion and fragmentation, we believe God is calling us to rise, preach the Gospel, and make disciples among all ethnic and religious groups.

“The current crisis, while devastating, presents unprecedented opportunities to reach those who have lost hope in earthly systems and point them to the eternal hope found in Christ.

“May our Heavenly Father, by His Spirit, lead the Body of Christ to unite and stand together in fervent prayer and faith, working through love and believing that God’s Kingdom will come and that His will be done in Syria as it is in Heaven.“

KNOWING GOD IS IN CONTROL

“I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose. Isaiah 46:10

Sometimes, we need the reminder that God knows the future and can do what is humanly impossible. He knows what is eternally best in ways we cannot. God can see ultimate purposes and plans that we can’t. We also need to understand that God is in control.

Countries where the people once honoured God, recognising that “God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself” 2 Corinthians 5:19, experienced unprecedented security and prosperity. These same countries today are crumbling as people turn their backs on God. ” Righteousness lifts up a nation, but sin is a shame to any people.” Proverbs 14:34.

As nations turn their backs on God, living as if He does not exist, sin abounds; political corruption, lying, slander, public displays of debauchery, violent crime, abortion, theft, adultery, drug taking, drunkenness, gambling, and greed of all kinds. Economic woes follow as taxes increase and governments borrow money to pay for bigger police forces, gaols, and social security systems to fix the problems. Underpinning this abandonment of faith in God is the widespread acceptance of evolutionary thinking – that everything made itself by natural processes and that God is not necessary. The complex design we see in the world designed itself. God says they are without excuse if they ignore the obvious.

“For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” Romans 1:19-20

Sadly, such thinking abounds in universities and governments today. As a result, some of the greatest evil ever seen perpetrated was by those who adopted an evolutionary approach to morality: Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Pol Pot. Many millions have suffered terribly and lost their lives because of this atheistic way of thinking. Atheism kills because, without God, there are no rules – anything goes. Atheists are at the forefront of efforts to legitimise abortion, euthanasia, drug taking, prostitution, pornography, and promiscuity. All these things cause misery, suffering, and death. Atheism is the philosophy of death, and it comes from the great deceiver, Satan, who is intent on our destruction.

The Bible reveals that God knew this would happen and that before Jesus returns to restore righteousness, His followers will be persecuted for His namesake.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:9-14

WHY MOST PEOPLE WILL FACE THE SOON COMING WRATH OF GOD

A new survey has found that more than half of Americans do not believe God exists or that He “affects lives,” prompting one prominent researcher to highlight the need for “sweeping national repentance and spiritual renewal.” 

The Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University released the second installment of its American Worldview Inventory 2025 on Wednesday. 

The research found that overall, 60% of Americans do not believe God exists or that He “affects lives.” Nearly half of self-identified Christians (47%) and a slightly smaller share of theologically identified born-again Christians (40%) said the same.

The Bible begins with the statement. ” In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth“. Genesis 1:1. God’s existence is assumed, self-evident. In Psalm 14:1 we are told, “The fool has said in his heart, There is no God! They acted corruptly; they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.” Here we see that the Bible connects corrupt thoughts about God – especially about denying His very existence – with corrupt morals. And it is true that if there is no God, no Creator who sets the rules, then we are set adrift morally.

So few believe God exists because of the promotion of evolution. A Creator is not necessary. This is why God has raised Creation Ministries International (http://www.creation.com) and Answers in Genesis (http://www.answersingenesis.org), two of the main ministries God has raised up to defend the Bible as inerrant and its history accurate. 

Among Americans who believe that God exists and “affects lives,” a plurality (38%) defined God as the “most important element” in their lives, while 23% described God as “extremely important” in their lives, and 18% characterized God as having a “very important” influence on their lives.

Fourteen percent of respondents who believe in God agreed that He was “somewhat important” in their lives, while 5% considered God either “not too” important or “not at all” important. The remaining 3% placed their views on God’s influence in their lives into the category of “it varies.” 

Just 20% of “those who believe the God of the Bible exists and affects lives” told pollsters they had “an intimate and interactive spiritual relationship with Him, with constant two-way communication.” Another 45% classified their relationship with God as “close,” defined by frequent prayer and trust in Him to “do what is best and right.”

Eleven percent of those surveyed identified their relationship with God as “arms-length,” while 18% said, “He exists and is capable of all things, but do not have a personal, interactive ‘relationship’ with Him.”

The remaining 7% of respondents remained uncertain whether or not He interacts with people and did not “know how to describe their relationship with Him.” One-third (33%) of “those who believe the God of the Bible exists and affects lives” defined God as having a “total” influence over their lives and choices, while another third (33%) reported that He had “a lot” of influence on their lives, which “often” reflected His guidance.

This is undoubtedly the reason Jesus tells us that just before He returns, many will fall away when tribulation comes.
