REMEMBER GOD APPOINTS LEADERS OF NATIONS
With the American presidential election imminent Christians must remember that God appoints leaders for His purposes. The bible records for us how God used the leaders of the most powerful nations: Nebuchadnezzar, ruler of the Babylonian Empire 600 years before Christ. He received a vision from God. Why?
“in order that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men. gives it to whomever He will, and sets over it the lowest of men” Daniel 4:17
The Bib;le clearly shows that God will place terrible leaders in positions of great power for the explicit purpose of fulfilling His plans. This was certainly true of the pharoah of the Exodus, whose heart God hardened time, after time. God had Moses tell Pharoah:
“Indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” Exodus 9:16
One of the most convincing proofs that the Bible is the inspired word of God is fulfilled prophecy. God inspired the prophet Isaiah to announce 150 years in advance the rise to power of Cyrus the Great to fulfill His purpose to bring God’s people back to their land after 70 years in exile for their rebellion and not keeping 70 Shemitah’s. 2 Chronicles 36:21 says, “The land enjoyed its sabbath rests; all the time of its desolation it rested, until the seventy years were completed in fulfillment of the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah.”
“Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed: “I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron, I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name. For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me. I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me, that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other. I form light and create darkness; I make well-being and create calamity; I am the Lord, who does all these things.” Isaiah 45:1-7
Know that whoever is elected, it is God’s choice for this season: if Trump, maybe a short repreive from escalating judgement; if Harris it will be escalating judgement.
CHRISTIANITY IS SURGING IN IRAN
As the conflict between Israel and Iran’s terrorist proxy group Hezbollah in Lebanon widens, reports continue to surface of a growing division between the Iranian people and the Islamist regime of Ali Khamenei. Even as anti-Israel and anti-America protests get most of the attention in Iran, a burgeoning Christian movement is occurring under the surface, an expert on Iranian Christians says.
In Iran, Christianity is intensely persecuted, except small historical Armenian and Assyrian communities. Conversion from Islam to Christianity is considered apostasy and can be punished with death. Still, some reports suggest that conversions to Christianity and support for democracy are on the rise, with as many as 80% of Iranian citizens anonymously supporting a democratic government. In addition, some outlets have reported that hundreds of mosques have closed due to the rising number of Iranians leaving Islam.
Hormoz Shariat is the president of Iran Alive Ministries. It broadcasts the gospel message via satellite TV programs in the Farsi language in predominantly Muslim countries like Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. On Monday, he joined “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” to discuss how an increasing number of Iranians do not support the Islamist regime’s attacks on Israel and are converting to Christianity.
“[Iranians] have experienced Islam and Islamic rule firsthand for over 40 years,” he noted. “And they’ve come to the conclusion, if the problem is not just the government, the problem is Islam itself. That’s why we see a high number of Iranian Muslims come to Christ because they have not just rejected the government, they have rejected Islam. There is such a gap … between the government and the people. So when the government puts on these rallies saying, ‘Death to Israel, death to America,’ the people of Iran say, ‘We love Israel, we love America.’ And that’s the trend.”
Shariat also pointed out that there were also many Iranian Americans who came out in support of Israel after the October 7 Hamas attack.
“We know that the media covered … the pro-Palestine, pro-Hamas demonstrations in America,” he noted. “You saw it everywhere. You saw it on campuses. You saw it on the street. You saw it in Washington, D.C. But you did not see all the Iranians who came on the streets even in America, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and San Diego, everywhere. Iranians came out pro-Israel. Not even one Iranian rally was pro-Palestine, and the media did not cover that. Iranians are pro-Israel.”
Shariat further described how his ministry has spread. “[W]e … have a 24/7 satellite broadcast going over the heads of the mullahs — they cannot stop the signal from the sky. We go into people’s homes, millions of homes. [A]n independent survey [found] that we have seven million viewers daily. So we go into people’s homes, tell them about God’s love, and guess what? They are ready. Iranians are rejecting Islam. They’re ready for the message of the gospel.”
According to Shariat, a spiritual awakening is currently occurring in Iran. “It’s a move of God, and God uses suffering, and Iranians have suffered for 40-some years. … So there is an openness among Iranians. … God has used [suffering] to open their minds, open their eyes towards Islam. They … have rejected Islam [but] not [out] of emotion and [not from making an] overnight decision.”
Shariat asked for continued prayers for his ministry and Christians in Iran.
TRUE COMPARISON OF WHAT IS ON OFFER THIS PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
I suggest you watch this video by Mario Murillo as he discusses the coming election and the likely outcome with Todd Coconato. It seems to me that Trump will be the winner. If he does, it will be a reprieve, but he will not turn the nation back to God, what is needed is a God-initiated revival. America is absent from end-times Biblical prophecy and I believe it is destined for further judgement by God.
In Mario Murillo’s video, he shows several videos including one with Elon Musk and Trump discussing education. They are powerful. They also do a great job of showing the incompetence of the Biden/Harris government, particularly on the border crisis. If Kamala is elected America will not survive. The choice is that stark. Democrats are totally anti-God.
Someone at YouTube did not like this video and posted an ad over the last three minutes of it.
KAMALA DOES NOT STAND A CHANCE OF WINNING
When you watch these ads which are based on Kamala Harris speaking the words that will ensure she loses the election you will see why I say she does not have a chance of winning. The Democrats made a fatal mistake when they decided to run with Joe Biden. When Joe Biden revealed the state of his mental decline in the debate, the Democrats had no choice but to replace him. Running out of time until the election and therefore time to promote a new candidate, the VP, Kamal Harris must have seemed to be the best option. No one could have foreseen how she would dig her own grave.
For Christians, Trump is the best of the two options but Trump won’t make America more powerful or more great again. Trump needs to tell the American people that unless they get on their knees and repent of their abominable sins, of which abortion is horrific, God will not stop the judgement that is already being unleashed on the land.
One thing is for sure, China and Russia won’t like Trump winning and may choose to strike sooner while it is still weak and dealing with an immense border crisis. We know from Biblical end-times prophecy that the Antichrist and his false prophet will rule the world for a short period before Jesus returns to destroy them and the army they assemble for the battle of Armageddon. The recent UN Pact for the Future is a further step toward a one-world government.
THE TRUTH ABOUT TRUTH AND THE EXISTENCE OF GOD
Possessing no absolute or true existence of its own, evil is, by nature, parasitic. Being not of the created order, it can exist only by drawing its existence from that order. Evil must use the good. And so though good can exist without evil, evil cannot exist without good.
Truth can exist without falsehood, but falsehood cannot exist without truth.
Laws can exist without crimes, marriage without adultery, and life without murder. But crimes cannot exist without laws, adultery without marriage, and murder exist without life. Destruction requires structure, immorality requires morality, and sin requires the holy.
The good is primary. Evil is the parasitic inversion of the good. And so the existence of evil inadvertently testifies not against the existence of the good—but for it. It bears witness, unwillingly, to the existence of the good—the existence of God.
If evil is uncreated, how did it come to exist? God did not create evil, but He did create personhood, consciousness, and volition—free will. Free will is a necessity. If one does what is good because one has no choice in doing so, then it is not good. The good must be freely chosen and thus requires free will. And therein is the risk. To allow the choosing of good, one must allow the choosing of its opposite. And the opposite of good is evil. It is the allowance and risk of the good that allow for the risk of evil.
Evil requires personhood, will, consciousness, and volition.
Therefore, when looking for the source of evil we are looking in the direction of personhood, toward a conscious entity. It must be a created being that by its volition turned against the created order, against existence itself, a being that became an anti-being, an inversion. And this is exactly what the Scriptures reveal. There are two entities with the ability to choose good or evil: one, human, and the other, angelic. Since evil is spiritual and beyond flesh and blood, its origin must be found beyond flesh and blood, beyond the human, in the realm of the spiritual and the angelic. And in that realm, we see it, the entity that fulfills all the prerequisites—consciousness, volition, free will, and inversion and yet not of flesh and blood—an angelic being that turned against the fabric of the created order and against existence itself. In his inversion, he became the anti-being, the parasitic inversion of the good, the nemesis of reality. He became the one who should not exist and yet does. He became the Devil.
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’” Isaiah 14:12-14

THE STARK DIFFERENCE: HARRIS AND WALZ VERSUS TRUMP AND VANCE
At a Kamala Harris rally at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse last Thursday. As she delved into a monologue castigating pro-life protections for the unborn, two university students declared, “Christ is King!” and “Jesus is Lord!”
Kamala responded: “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally,”
Sadly, the liberal university crowd shared Harris’s disrespect for Christians and, allegedly, for Christ. The New York Post reports:
“I was pushed by an elderly woman. We were heckled at, we were cursed at, we were mocked, and that’s the biggest thing for me personally,” Beth said. “In reflection of the event, Jesus was mocked. You know, [H]is disciples were mocked, and that’s OK.”
One candidate signaled that the Name of Jesus Christ — the Name at which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess His eternal lordship — is unwelcome speech at any of Kamala Harris rallies.
Contrast that scene with a rally Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance held in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday. During a lull in his speech, someone in the audience cheered, “Jesus is king!”
Vance responded: “That’s right. Jesus is king,” and the Republican crowd erupted in approval.
J.D. Vance rhetorically affirmed, not merely empty praise for Jesus, but the notion that God’s sovereignty supersedes even his own. The phrase “Jesus is King!” recognizes the view that government, and those to whom it is temporarily entrusted, are subordinate to the will of God. Their will is circumscribed by the rights, priorities, privileges, and kingdom rights of Christ the King.
The 79th Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner benefiting women and children in need took place on October 17, 2024, at the New York Hilton Midtown, 1335 Avenue of Americas. The event was hosted by His Eminence Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York. Both Trump and Harris were to attend but Harris was absent as was her running mate, Walz. Instead, Harris sent a video.
Since its first dinner in 1946, The Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner has raised millions of dollars for New York’s most vulnerable women and children. The Dinner has featured renowned cultural, business, and political figures, including most major party presidential nominees during election years since 1960.
Trump managed to come across as the more humble candidate. At one point, he declined to tell any self-deprecating jokes, saying, “I guess I just don’t see the point of taking shots at myself when other people have been shooting at me.” But he actually began with a self-effacing quip: “These days, it’s really a pleasure [to be] anywhere in New York without a subpoena for my appearance.” And he humbly admitted, “I went overboard” in attacking Hillary Clinton during his remarks at the 2016 event.
Kamala Harris broke with tradition to send in a video featuring “Saturday Night Live” alumna Molly Shannon as Mary Katherine Gallagher. Shannon gave a laughless, identity-focused monologue about the importance of electing a woman because women are smarter than men. She closed by calling the incumbent vice president “Momala,” as Drew Barrymore did recently. Secular leftists are looking for a matriarch. Christians bask in the love of the Father and seek no substitute. But, perhaps her video message to the dinner summed up the contrast best. At one point, she lectured Molly Shannon, “You should never let anyone tell you who you are: You tell them who you are.”
Trump offered a second moment in the speech worth remembering. Highlighting the Democratic Party’s increasingly strident anti-Catholic record, Trump quipped, “Instead of attending tonight, she’s in Michigan receiving Communion from Gretchen Whitmer.” (Trump also joked that Governor Tim “Walz isn’t here himself, but don’t worry, he’ll say that he was.” That is, of course, a reference to Walz’s erroneous claims that he served in battle and had been in the Far East during the Tiananmen Square massacre, which Walz explained away by saying “my grammar’s not always correct” and calling himself a “knucklehead”.
America is already under God’s judgement. It was in 2011 when Jonathan Cahn warned the USA about the nine harbingers that God had already sent to the nation. It did not respond and America has further ejected God from all aspects of its life. Will God give America a reprieve if Donald Trump is elected?
The institutions of faith, family, and freedom are still under desperate siege, without revival, America is destined for more judgement. It will only escalate and a level 10 earthquake on the San Andreas fault line is a distinct possibility soon.
A TRUE STORY OF RADICAL FORGIVENESS
Craig Deall’s family farm was seized by the government of Zimbabwe 20 years ago without any compensation. Rather than fight or flee, Craig’s faith compelled him to forgive – a decision that has reaped a great harvest in more ways than one. Deall was raising his family on the same farm he grew up on when in 2003, the unthinkable happened. “It was obviously extremely traumatic,” he told CBN News. The government forced Deall, his wife, and children to leave their home and farm that had been in his family since 1948 as part of the government’s land reform program. An effort to more equitably distribute land between black subsistence farmers and white Zimbabweans of European ancestry. He had three choices. “We could fight, we could flee, or we could forgive“. “Some of my friends fought for their land and ended up getting killed for it,” Deall said. “Most of my friends left the country, and no answer is wrong. But we as a family decided to pursue the third option which was to forgive. (Only Christians can understand why anyone would make this decision. It is opposite to what Satan would have you do). We felt that if we chose bitterness instead of forgiveness, there’s no country far enough away where it doesn’t smell.”
Deall kept going back to one scripture in the Bible’s New Testament. In that scripture, Jesus says, ‘If a man steals your coat, give him your tunic as well.’ (Matthew 5:40) For us, it meant, if a man steals your farm, teach him how to farm. And that’s what we did. And with that, the pressure lifted, there was a great release over us, and we knew that God had opened up an avenue for us to serve the least of these and to bring them the Gospel,” he recalled. Deall moved his family to Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe, while about a dozen other families took over his house and land. He then joined a group called Foundations for Farming. There, he began to teach the new owners, as well as other small-scale farmers, a unique way of farming that God revealed to the group’s founder, Brian Oldreive. “He went with a child-like faith into virgin bush, into virgin forest and he sat there and he asked God, ‘Teach me how to farm’, and the two things that he saw is that there is no inversion tillage in nature. And the next thing he saw is that there is this beautiful mulch cover that covers the forest floor, and that’s actually God’s mechanism for feeding and protecting the soil,” Deall explained.
“So, he went back to his farm, and he literally tried it. Just without any tillage and no burning, which is contrary to the conventional way of farming, and he immediately got outstanding results like 10-time increment in yield,” he continued. “And so, he knew that it worked, and he started to grow it bigger and bigger but he knew that God had given him this revelation, not for himself but to extrapolate across the continent of Africa to the rural farmers, the hurting, the poor ones around the continent.” The success of the Zero-Tillage technique caught the attention of the Zimbabwe government which endorsed the method. And in 2020, the country experienced its first food surplus in two decades. “In fact, the food production has jumped four times, between three and four times, are the official estimates of the food increment in the year 2020,” Deall said.
The country’s main crop, corn, tripled with the method and now Foundations for Farming teaches the technique all over the world with the main goal of sharing the Gospel. “But 80% of what we teach is the heart. It’s using agriculture as an entry point for the gospel,” Deall said. Even with all their success, the Zimbabwean government never offered Deall any compensation for his home, land, or time teaching, but he says the way God has provided, he wouldn’t change a thing. “We have a saying in Foundations of Farming: ‘I used to own a farm in Africa, now Africa is my farm,’” he said. NOBEL PRIZE WINNER ISSUES DIRE WARNING ON AI
Geoffrey Hinton and John Hopfield were awarded a Nobel Prize in Physics on October 8th, 2024.
Hinton was awarded the prize for his work on “foundational discoveries and inventions that enable machine learning with artificial neural networks.” It’s why he’s known as the “Godfather of AI.” Hinton is responsible for laying the groundwork for how AI functions today.
Since May 2023, he’s been warning folks about the dangers posed by this burgeoning technology. In fact, he publicly resigned from Alphabet Inc. (GOOG) to be able to speak out more freely about it.
And last Tuesday, when asked about the effect that AI would have on our society, he said:
“It will be comparable with the industrial revolution. But instead of exceeding people in physical strength, it’s going to exceed people in intellectual ability. We have no experience of what it’s like to have things smarter than us.“
Thanks to AI, we will soon ride in Robotaxis, have personalized treatment plans for major diseases, and much more… totally transforming the way we work, live, and play.
However, some things will change for the worse…
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about the dockworker’s strike and how one of their aims was a total ban on further automation at the nation’s ports. I believed that this was a hopelessly futile endeavor – that AI-driven automation was eventually coming whether they liked it or not. Just as Amazon and Walmart warehouses are becoming totally robotic. They can function 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with no people, no mistakes, no meal breaks, no sickies, and no holidays.
But it’s not just the dockworkers that should be worried. AI is coming for tech jobs, too. In fact, TechCrunch reported that Amazon, Apple, Alphabet, Meta, and Microsoft laid off roughly 94,400 people in 2023! And so far this year, the total for tech layoffs is about 141,076! Some of these layoffs are due to workers who were reluctant to return to the office. But many of these layoffs are related to AI as companies rely on software, rather than people, to become more efficient.
Unfortunately, this is just the beginning. We will see layoffs in law enforcement, customer service, medicine, mining, transportation, and much more. Up to 800 million global workers could lose their jobs by 2030, according to a McKinsey study, and 70% of all existing occupations could see a pay cut, according to Wired magazine. We’re talking about a massive wave of economic and societal change.
Governments that have jettisoned God and His commandments are already unable to cope with the consequences. Lawlessness, even anarchy will abound exactly as Scripture prophecies for the last day before Jesus returns to Earth.
Government debt levels are already astronomical so they will not be able to provide relief for AI-induced unemployment. The stage is being set for the Antichrist and a one-world government.
Jesus warns us that increasing persecution is ahead for Christians and we need to trust God no matter the circumstances confident that He will see us through it.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:9-13

While everyday investors keep piling into names like Nvidia, Apple, and Amazon… the owners of those very companies — Jensen Huang, Tim Cook, and Jeff Bezos are dumping their OWN shares at a record pace and they are leading a parade of corporate insiders, Fortune 500 CEOs, and founders who’re selling shares of their OWN stocks, as well.
Insider selling has just hit the highest level in three years. Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan, just sold $150 million of his own shares — for the first time EVER.
Financial experts are saying:
The wealthy are now moving their cash to a class of stocks that sit at the largest, most critical, and economically resilient pillar of the US economy. These stocks are hyper-innovative but completely overlooked… billionaires love them for market-reliance… and their incredible ability to jump 200%, 500%, even 1,000% higher. And the world’s wealthiest: Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos,” Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg, Mark Zuckerberg, 48 members of Congress. They’re all moving large amounts of their own money into these stocks: Next-Gen Stocks.
It’s about the “one-percenters” exploiting yet another massive “wealth transfer”. In the wake of every major market panic — the rich are the only ones to get richer?
- In the aftermath of the dot-com crash, the top 10% emerged with 69% more wealth on average.
- In 2008 — the “already rich” walked away with vastly more wealth than everyone else…
- In the 2020 crash — the top 1% added $15 trillion to their net worth…
- Meanwhile, the middle class has suffered ever since.
What are the next Gen Stocks? They are the stocks of solid companies that can benefit from AI but are not amongst the high flyers like Nvidia, AMD, Amazon, Google, Apple, and Microsoft.
They would include healthcare companies Bristol Myers Squibb (BMY), Pfizer (PFE), and Roche (RHHBY), and even companies like Walmart that are now automating their warehouses with AI and robotics. I would include some of the Quantum Computer stocks that are yet to “take off”, Super Micro Computers (SMCI), Broadcom (AVGO), Crowd Strike (CRWD), Emcor Group (EME), and Intel.
When countries are printing money like the USA, and amassing trillions of dollars of debt, there is no point in holding onto currencies that are doomed to lose value. Gold and silver are safe havens and recent increases demonstrate smart money is going there. More recently Cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin are being seen as a better alternative to some currencies.
From a Biblical perspective which after all is the only one that is guaranteed to eventuate we know that the government and economic chaos will lead to a prophesied one-world government and the Antichrist.
