THE COMING MILLENNIAL KINGDOM WHEN JESUS WILL RULE THE NATIONS

Australia’s Federal Parliament opens with prayer but God is then excluded from any discussion. It is time to put God back in His rightful place as sovereign over His Cosmos. Sadly, that will not happen until Jesus returns to restore righteousness. Fortunately, God has given us incredible detail on the last seven years before Jesus returns to Earth to rule and reign the nations from a new Jerusalem. When this happens the nation God established for His purposes, Israel will finally fulfill its destiny. The miracle of Israel being reborn as a nation in 1948 was the first and the major Biblical end-times prophecy fulfilled.

The purpose of the thousand-year reign is to allow for the fulfillment of the promises God made with Jesus, Israel, the Saints, and His Creation to vindicate His Holy name.

Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. Ezekiel 36:22-24

So, when they (disciples) had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.” Acts 1:6–7

This verse clearly indicates that Jesus is yet to come and restore the Kingdom to Israel. The Millennium is the prophetic climax of God’s overarching redemptive agenda. His completed promises to Israel, found in the unconditional covenants, will be on full display before a world of believers and unbelievers alike.

Soon after the birth of the Body of Christ at Pentecost (Acts 2), Peter spoke these words to his fellow Jews from Solomon’s Portico

“Repent, therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.” Acts 3:10-21

But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at His coming those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.” 1 Corinthians 15:23-25

The Messiah must reign over his kingdom until he has defeated all his enemies. Once this is accomplished only then will this Earth be destroyed by fire. The second resurrection and the White Throne judgement follow. John then sees a new heaven and a new earth where only the righteous dwell. Jesus hands over the kingdom to the Father. When the Kingdom of God is handed over to the Father, it will be free of sin and death, identifying it as the Eternal State (Revelation 21:4, 8).

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away… And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,Revelation 21:1-2

THE FUTURE WITH AGI AND THE MARK OF THE BEAST

AI is improving at an exponential rate. And we’re quickly reaching a tipping point where the future will look nothing like the past. This point is known as artificial general intelligence (AGI). It is the top level of artificial intelligence. Some even call it humanity’s final invention.

Artificial general intelligence refers to AI that can mimic human cognitive abilities. To put it simply, AI is becoming smarter than the smartest human.

There are already some  signs of what AGI will look like. Last month, OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, claimed that its most advanced AI models are now bordering on the second of five levels of “Super AI.” Many people can no longer tell the difference between AI chatbots and human-generated text responses.

AI will turbocharge the robotics trend. Last week, OpenAI-backed robotics startup Figure AI released a two-minute video of its humanoid robots completing tasks at a BMW plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina (see video below). These machines are now capable of learning from their mistakes and, unlike their robotic arm predecessors, are designed to move in spaces made for humans. That allows them to take on directly competing roles.

Back in January, Elon Musk’s Neuralink company implanted the first N1 device in the brain of a quadriplegic patient… and it worked. The patient could play chess online and browse the internet with only his mind.

Now, one of Musk’s R1 robots has successfully implanted one of Neuralink’s N1 chips in the brain of a second paraplegic patient. According to Neuralink, the N1 interprets neural activity and makes it available for computers. Then, the person can control external devices with their mind, alone. Musk and his team of researchers and engineers call this “electrophysiological recording.”

According to Musk, Neuralink initially aims to restore mobility in paralyzed people, with subsequent goals of restoring sight to the blind and hearing to the deaf. In short, the N1 device could benefit millions of people with miracle-like cures. If things go as Musk’s team predicts, the paralyzed will walk, the blind will see, and the deaf will hear.

Musk does not know that we are fast approaching the time when the Antichrist and the False Prophet force everybody to take the Mark of the Beast on their right hand or forehead. Could Musk’s Neuralink technology play a role in implementing the Mark of the Beast?

Also it (False Prophet) causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.Revelation 13:16-17

Church time is short: let us make sure we are in step with the Holy Spirit. He will direct our steps if we allow Him. Like Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, we need to say not my will but yours be done this day and every day until Jesus returns.

Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” Luke 22:42

CANCEL CULTURE RAMPANT IN AUSTRALIAN UNIVERSITIES

Campus Cancel Culture: There is no such thing as academic freedom and free speech on campus if activists can weaponise a university’s complaints-handling process to harass scholars and students they disagree with. Joanna Howe experienced this first-hand as a law professor at the University of Adelaide She was subject to five investigations in two years. These investigations have been of varying degrees of severity, formality, and length. But they have all been motivated by complaints from individuals who disagree with the substance of her research and advocacy critiquing abortion up to birth.

Professor Joanna Howe reported in The Australian on August 24th, 2024 “I won my legal fight. But there is a wider battle being waged against academic freedom”

“One complaint was from a pro-abortion colleague complaining that my research critiquing abortion was religiously motivated thus bringing down the reputation of the Adelaide Law School. Never mind the fact that I’d never once used religion as the basis for my argument critiquing laws that facilitate abortion up to birth!

Another complaint was from an activist member of the public alleging that my video on the tragic death of Jessica Jane was misleading. Jessica was a baby girl who was unexpectedly born alive after an abortion and left to die on a metal kidney dish for 80 minutes in an empty room. Although my boss acknowledged my video was uncomfortable to watch, she confirmed the accuracy of its contents and its consistency with the coronial report. University of Adelaide Professor of Law Dr Joanna Howe says activists are “seeking to cause trouble” for her at work as a result of sharing her academic research on abortion.

Yet another complaint came in via an email from Western Australian Labor MP Peter Foster to the vice-chancellor. Foster’s problem? Apparently, I’d been traversing the halls of WA parliament spruiking a research report that purported to be the views of the university. It’s a pity Foster didn’t bother to read the report’s first footnote, which made it patently clear the views therein were the author’s alone.

Just before Christmas another investigation was initiated: this one prompted by an avalanche of complaints by TikTok activists claiming I had misrepresented facts on abortion and that I shamed women who got abortions. I had done no such thing but that investigation hung over my head, like a cloud, all through the summer holidays.

Finally on January 24, less than two hours after I’d received an email clearing me of the fourth investigation, I received another email, from a different department of the university, opening a new investigation into research misconduct. This one alleged plagiarism and misrepresentation of facts and was prompted by a complaint from a pro-abortion activist with a TikTok account dedicated to attacking me.

This investigation was by far the most serious of those I had endured. It was formal, dragged out over months, and an independent investigator was appointed. When the investigator’s report cleared me of any potential breach of the Australian Code for Responsible Research, I breathed a sigh of relief, assuming it was over.

But the university had other ideas, imposing “corrective actions”: a mandatory requirement that I complete an anti-bias course within 30 days and ordering me to have a formal discussion with my line manager about my research.

Making things 100 times worse, the university then wrote a letter to the TikTok troll, failing to mention that I had been cleared of any breach of the Australian Code for Responsible Research. Instead, the university threw me under the bus; writing to the toll that corrective actions had been imposed.

Predictably, the TikTok troll released the letter online and a torrent of online abuse ensued. I was accused by all and sundry of being guilty of plagiarism and misrepresentation of facts, and that the university had ordered me to unpublish my research. Of course, none of this was true but the university’s own letter had made it seem like it might be.

I appealed three times to senior management and pointed out that the university was in breach of its own policies by imposing these corrective actions on me. My appeals were rejected out of hand and no reasons were given.

The 30 days passed and I refused to submit to the corrective actions. Instead, I fought back, taking my case to the Fair Work Commission asking for an urgent resolution to the dispute.

The university caved during conciliation and I won my case. The corrective actions were removed and a process has now been agreed to that will protect my academic freedom.

This is a significant victory for my academic freedom but this saga has exposed how dangerous it is for academics who dare take on controversial research.

I have written to Universities Australia chair David Lloyd, demanding that a new process be adopted across the higher education sector to address the problem of vexatious and bad faith complaints.

Although Australian universities protect academic freedom and freedom of speech in enterprise bargaining agreements, and through specific policies and procedures, the interaction of these protections with other policies and procedures of universities can result in academic freedom being undermined or circumvented altogether.

I am requesting that Universities Australia introduce a new, sector-wide requirement to mandatorily dismiss complaints that are made vexatiously or in bad faith. I am also requesting that universities only investigate complaints about the conduct of research if they are made by a person who is a member of the academic staff of the university, a person of good standing in Australia’s academic research community, or a person directly affected by the alleged misconduct.

In short, this reform ensures that trolls and activists cannot weaponize university complaint mechanisms against people they disagree with.

The rise of cancel culture, increasing political polarisation and the pressure to protect students from uncomfortable ideas they deem offensive have the potential to seriously erode academic freedom and freedom of speech in our universities.

I know this first-hand and I’ve won my legal fight. But this battle is bigger than me and we need institutional-wide reform to ensure the robust protection of academic freedom and free speech for scholars and students on campus.

This is just another end-times sign that Jesus warned Christians will endure in the time before He returns to restore righteousness and usher in His Millennial Kingdom. Go to http://www.millennialkingdom.net for information on the thousand-year reign that is next on God’s agenda for planet Earth.

WHICH NATIONS MAKE UP THE ANTICHRIST EMPIRE

Who are the 10 horns of the Beast, the 10 nations that make up the core of the Antichrist Kingdom?

Revelation 17:12-17 NIV – “The ten horns you saw are ten kings – Looking at Revelation and Psalms TOGETHER, the answer becomes crystal clear. Not only who they are, but who the 3 horns plucked up by the roots are, and the important role those 3 play in Bible prophecy. Watch this Nelson Walters video for one of the most insightful teachings on this channel. This teaching will help you watch for the key events that will unfold before the Antichrist arises to power. Psalm 83 proves important in helping us identify the ten kings that will form in the future. They do not have power now but receive their authority from the Antichrist.

The Psalms reveal secrets of HOW the Antichrist arises and comes to power, WHERE he comes from, and WHEN he comes on the scene. Although Christians often overlook them, the Apostle John quoted them often in the Book of Revelation.

SIGNPOSTS TO GOD

Prominent atheist Richard Dawkins was once asked what he would say to God if he encountered Him after he died. Dawkins quoted what Bertrand Russell is reputed to have said when asked the same question: “Sir, why did you take such pains to hide yourself?

I think I can understand why some might echo that sentiment. After all, God is invisible; we can’t perceive Him directly with our physical senses. Yet the signs of His existence—indeed, of His goodness and greatness—are everywhere. The Apostle Paul was right when telling a first-century pagan audience that God has always given evidence of His existence through the good things He has done, such as “rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.” (Acts 14:17). God has put up signposts everywhere to help us find our way to Him. Here are just a few of them.

The humblest believer in God as Creator must exercise far less credulity, and has far less explaining to do, than the most ardent evolutionist materialist.

Of course, fallen humanity has devised many increasingly sophisticated speculations of how nature could have made itself. Ministries like Creation Ministries International (http://www.creation.com) provide people with specific answers to such challenges. Even so, it pays to step back and contemplate the ‘big picture’ of what is claimed, and its affront to common sense.

Evidence of design

Flicking through a magazine one day as a child, I came across a photograph of Mount Rushmore, South Dakota, with the unmistakable likenesses of four American presidents carved into the rocks. Knowing nothing of how these came to be there, I remember thinking, “How strange! These can’t have happened by accident.”

Precisely! No one could seriously suggest that these shapes resulted from wind, or rain, or glacial erosion. These carved faces are clearly the result of creative design and effort.

Though not professing a commitment to anything like the God of the Bible, Paul Davies, former professor of theoretical physics at The University of Adelaide, writes in his book The Mind of God:

Through my scientific work, I have come to believe more and more strongly that the physical universe is put together with an ingenuity so astonishing that I cannot accept it merely as a brute fact … I cannot believe that our existence in this universe is a mere quirk of fate, an accident of history, an incidental blip in the great cosmic drama.2

The humblest believer in God as Creator must exercise far less credulity, and has far less explaining to do, than the most ardent evolutionist materialist.

Another signpost is human nature. We have been made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). Thus, we have spiritual capacities that cannot be explained apart from God. Language, reason, ambition, creativity, humour, wonder, worship—all these have no counterpart in the natural world. These qualities mark us out as different from the rest of God’s handiwork. This is another way of saying that our Creator has endowed us with the capacity to relate to Him at a personal level.

Within human nature, conscience is another sign pointing to God. Proverbs 20:27 says of the human spirit that it is “the lamp of the Lord, searching all [man’s] innermost parts.”. Our conscience is responsible for our intuitive knowledge of right and wrong, good and evil. The Apostle Paul states that even those who don’t have God’s law in written form still have a conscience that commends them when they instinctively do what it commands and accuses them when they don’t (Romans 2:14–15).

Even without a ‘book of rules,’ we know it’s wrong to lie, steal, covet, and murder. Conscience ‘puts a pebble in our shoe’ whenever we violate it. The standard it sets and the guilt it inflicts point us to God—the Source of all good and the Judge of all evil.

Eternity in our hearts

Our longing for eternity is another pointer to God. Somehow, we know and feel that this life is not all that there is. Archaeologists have discovered how carefully and elaborately the ancient Egyptians prepared for the afterlife, and they had no Bible to tell them about a life to come. Where does this longing for eternity come from? Everything on Earth is subject to change and decay:

Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away, but you are the same, and your years have no end (Psalm 102:25–27).

These ‘immortality longings’ we all feel at various moments are pointers to the God who created us in His own image.

Hunger of the soul

Another signpost to God is our longing for meaning and purpose. We always knew when our cat Simba was hungry and wanted to be fed. (Any cat owner knows that dogs have masters, but cats have staff!) He would eat his prescription dry food and go away content; his next meal seemed to be the limit of his horizon. But we can’t live at that bare, subsistence level—at least, not for long. We crave meaning and purpose in our lives; we long to enjoy significant and satisfying relationships.

This sense of longing is often called ‘the homesickness of the soul’—and rightly so, for that’s precisely what it is. The true object of our longing is God. The words of the psalmist reflect this truth:

As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? (Psalm 42:1–2)

Illuminating the way

Of all the signposts pointing to God, the Bible is by far the clearest. When a British monarch is crowned, he or she is given a copy of the Bible, and told, “This Book is the most valuable thing that this world affords. This is the royal law; these are the lively oracles of God.” When we read the Bible with a humble and teachable attitude, we find it to be a source of supernatural wisdom and power. The psalmist prayed: “Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law” (Psalm 119:18). Paul reminded his young associate Timothy that Scripture provides the wisdom and instruction that leads to “salvation through faith in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15).

Scripture’s major theme is Jesus Christ, God’s only Son. As the “image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15), Jesus is the clearest and most compelling witness to the existence and greatness of God the Father. Jesus Himself said: “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). He is the perfect transcript of what God is like.

But the supreme demonstration of God’s love and care is the sending of His Son into the world to suffer death on the cross, to save us from our sins, and to reclaim us for Himself. The Cross is more than enough to convince us that God loves and cares for lost people (Romans 5:8). Jesus Himself said that He came “to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10).

There are signposts everywhere to help us find our way to God, but the most vital one is Jesus. He said: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

AMERICA: A NATION DESTINED FOR GOD’S WRATH

Americans’ rapid shedding of God and His values was evidenced by Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s celebrated speech at the Democratic National Convention. She celebrated “children” identifying as transgender, vilified concerned parents’ efforts to remove pornographic books from children’s sections of school libraries, and embraced life-destroying fertility methods. Moreover, her husband, former president Barack Obama, promised a Harris-Walz administration would sign a bill extending abortion to all 50 states.

Is it any wonder that last week, whistleblower Vanessa Sivadge was illegally fired from her position as a nurse at Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH)! Vanessa, a former Family Research Council intern and a TCH Nurse, blew the whistle that gender transition procedures for minors were being illegally performed and funded through Medicaid at Texas Children’s Hospital. Before becoming a whistleblower herself, she had previously received a threatening visit from federal agents asking her to reveal the then-anonymous identity of Dr. Eithan Haim, another TCH whistleblower who initially revealed that the hospital was conducting these procedures on minors in violation of Texas state law.

Before blowing the whistle on these illegal procedures and Medicaid fraud, Vanessa had submitted a religious accommodation request to be transferred to another department so that she did not have to be involved in these procedures and violate her biblical beliefs. Her request was never granted, but that wasn’t the end of the story. Not only did Texas Children’s Hospital ignore Vanessa’s religious accommodation and transfer request, but she was fired after coming out as a whistleblower several weeks ago.

Thankfully Vanessa is standing strong, saying she “would like to challenge this in court.” “My faith and my gut, just knowing right from wrong, compels me,” she says. “I was born for this. I have no doubt this is what I am supposed to do.”

Vanessa is right, Christians need to stand firm in the face of unrighteousness. In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus warns us that before His return persecution of Christians will get much worse.

Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:9-14

This Scripture and many others show us that Christians will not be raptured before the prophesied tribulation and even the great tribulation that occurs. Jesus told us that we will see the abomination in the temple (Antichrist) and experience the tribulation that ensues. Much of the church has adopted the pretribulation rapture position so will not be prepared for what is coming. Hence this post.

FORMER P.M. PAUL KEATING: WHAT MOTIVATES HIM?

The former prime minister, Paul Keating has never done an interview quite like this one with Troy Bramston, bestselling/award-winning author and biographer of Prime Ministers Paul Keating, RG Menzies, Bob Hawke, Gough Whitlam.

Paul Keating is seated on a chair in the middle of his office in Potts Point, Sydney. It is not just any chair. It is from the Palace of the Tuileries in Paris, in the period when Napoleon Bonaparte was the First Consul of France. His arms rest on carved wooden griffons with lion heads and he relaxes into a soft cushion of horsehair. Keating purchased the chair last year. (The French Government’s Mobilier National, attached to the Ministry of Culture, had an option to acquire the chair but didn’t exercise it). When I arrived at the office with photographer Nick Cubbin, the chair was already in place, isolated from everything else, set against a red-walled backdrop. It is a striking example of French neoclassicism, which draws on ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian design, and expresses a philosophy of human progress with a moral and an aesthetic order, and the quest for innate beauty.

When talking about the chair and why he purchased it, Keating made the following statement which reveals a great deal about what motivates him:

The Directoire and to a greater extent the Consulat are the periods of consolidation of the French Revolution – the event that changed all civil life going forward. The lives we all lead today, our liberty and equality, come from that time, that moment. This has always anchored my interest in the period. Otherwise, you would have been subservient to some monarch appointed by Godand by a Church that serviced God by collaborating with the monarch. Had you been an ordinary person, your life would have been wickedly subordinate, the next thing to being a non-person.

Newly researched documentation on the bloodthirsty Reign of Terror that swept through France in 1793-1794, personified by Robespierre and the Angel of Terror, Saint Just, clearly indicates the high price paid by France for a revolution that brought havoc and thousands of deaths to the French nation. Perhaps one of the best examples is the massacre, better called the genocide, of La Vendée.  General François Westerman of the revolutionary army claimed with pride that, in his efforts to crush the rebellion of the Vendéens, carried out against the abuses and crimes of the Convention, he ordered, by the decree of August 2, 1793, the systematic destruction and burning of the entire countryside, including all crops and the mass assassination of all rebels in sight.

Can we call the massacre at La Vendée a genocide?  The term was used in 1944 to describe the horrors of the holocaust and the drama experienced by the Jews under Nazism. If we relate the number of men women and children slaughtered by the revolutionary army under the banner of liberté, égalité, and fraternité with the total population of France’s western provinces, the number is even higher than what the Jews had to suffer under the inhuman policy of Hitler’s National Socialism. In both cases, there was a deliberate will of extermination.

The French Revolution reveals the titanic struggle between good and evil. Among the first targets of the fury of the revolutionaries, following the dictates of many of the so-called philosophes, were the contemplative religious communities. The blood of innocent people lost in the years 1792-1794 staggers the imagination. The campaign against the Church was as much diabolical as cruel.

The Church before the French Revolution is often represented as having failed to produce the goodness and holiness that is preached in the Gospel. It cannot be denied that there were serious failures among the Catholic bishops and high hierarchical leaders. However, it is also true that many devoted priests and nuns were totally dedicated to a life of prayer and works of charity, who gave up their lives for the faith they professed.

Keating believes that the French Revolution was the greatest event in human history as did Voltaire, Diderot and Baroon de Hobach.

Every sensible man, every honorable man must hold the Christian religion in horror.” Voltaire

Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.Diderot

Religion has ever filled the mind of man with darkness and kept him in ignorance of the real duties of true interests. It is only by dispelling these clouds and phantoms of religion, that we shall discover Truth, Reason, and Morality. Religion diverts us from the causes of evil, and from the remedies which nature prescribes; far from curing, it only aggravates, multiplies and perpetuates them.” –Baron de Holbach

What does Keating say about himself? “I’m definitely an aesthete,” Keating says. “That’s my whole thing. I’ve been an aesthete since I was a boy.” (aesthete: a person who has or affects a highly developed appreciation of beauty, especially in poetry and the visual arts). It shaped his conception of “big picture” style leadership and the attendant dreams of audacious statecraft. He often says leadership is founded on imagination and must be matched with courage. “You must have the imagination,” he insists. “Imagination is everything.” To envision a better future, you need a nourishment of the mind.

Where does the spiritual uplift come from?” Keating asks. “Well, I think it comes from the inner life … you need the bubbling cauldron. Without the bubbling cauldron, you can never get the rise. Without the rise, you just do ordinary stuff. But then who wants to do ordinary stuff?”

What does he mean “without the bubbling cauldron you never get the rise”. What nonsense, perhaps he should have gone to university after all. “Not going to university, Keating argues, freed his mind. He sought intellectual nourishment by indulging personal interests

Keating explained that the task of the reformer is to combine imagination with indignation. It demands political battle. “What others would call the warrior statesman,” Keating explains. “Most of these people in history, whether it’s Alexander the Great or whoever were in the business of blood and gore, you know? And in politics, I was in the blood and gore business, fundamentally. But with big ideas always running it.” Winning debates in parliament, putting the blowtorch to opponents in interviews, and slashing attacks on the campaign trail – it was about establishing political hegemony and policy authority. “Why do you throw Liberals around like rag dolls?” he asks. “Apart from the fun of it, the importance of it is for the betterment of the economy and society.”

Noting he is “fundamentally a romantic”, led him to an exploration of romanticism in culture. I always inhabited both camps, neoclassicism, and romanticism. Neoclassicism with and for its enlightenment ideals, its devotion to reason and perfectionism – much of which informed my calibrated approach to economic policy. [And] romanticism opened the yawning vistas of life replete with emotions that cram the human experience – which music goes out of its way to both join and to satisfy. I think I can claim, without refute, that you are much better with both. The culture of reason vying with the culture of feeling. Nevertheless, both share a common ideal: beauty. For as Stendhal said, ‘beauty is the promise of happiness’. I believe this to be true and have believed so always.”

Nowhere in the interview do they get into our origins, religion, meaning, and purpose of life.

WHAT VOTERS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT KAMALA HARRIS

Here’s what people NEED to realize about Kamala Harris and her presidential run. In this short video, Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis (AIG) speaks on the recent political ideologies of Kamala, sharing his perspective on them as a Bible-believing Christian.

Amazingly, so-called Christians are coming out in support of Kamla Harris. There is even a website http://www.evangelicalsforharris.com

On a Zoom call “White Dudes for Harris” that featured celebrities and grabbed headlines, John Pavlovitz, a liberal-leaning Christian author and activist hatched the idea for a Christian-centric version and texted his friend Malynda Hale, a singer, actress, and fellow activist. “We had a conversation about how, specifically on the Democratic side of the political spectrum, you don’t hear a lot of people talking about their faith,” Hale told Religion News Service in an interview. “We wanted people to know that there are progressive Christians, there are Christians on the Democratic, left-leaning side so that they didn’t feel alone.”

The result was Christians for Kamala, a part-fundraiser, part-virtual roundtable live-streamed event on Monday (Aug. 12). Featured speakers cited their faith as they praised liberal policies and personally endorsed Harris.

Jerushah Duford, a counselor who is also Billy Graham’s granddaughter and Franklin Graham’s niece said, “Voting Kamala, for me, is so much greater than policies,” Duford said. “It’s a vote against another four years of faith leaders justifying the actions of a man who destroys the message Jesus came to spread, and that is why I get involved in politics.”

Thankfully, Jesus told us that this would be the state of the world before He returns to restore righteousness and usher in His Millennial Kingdom. Go to http://www.millennialkingdom.net if you want to know what is next on God’s agenda for planet Earth. It still has another 1000 years before God finally destroys it. We have had 6000 years of Satan’s rule. To complete the covenants God made with Abraham, David, and Jesus we will have 1000 years with Jesus and the Saints ruling the world with a rod of iron.

From His (Jesus) mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.Revelation 19:15-16

The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of ironRevelation 2:26-27

THE CHURCH THAT IS LEFT BEHIND TO FACE THE WRATH OF GOD

Televangelist Keith Moore’s ministry Faith Life International has purchased a third jet following a fundraising campaign to raise $10 million. The used Dassault Falcon 7X jet acquired by Moore’s ministry was listed for sale at $17.5 million, while a new model would have cost $60 million.

In addition to the Falcon 7X, Faith Life International also owns a Dassault Falcon 900 EX (tail number N7KM) and Raytheon 390 (tail number N8PJ) jets. Moore is a licensed pilot and certified to fly all three jet models; however, both Falcon jets require an additional pilot in the cockpit.

Creflo Dollar’s new Gulfstream G550: After televangelist Creflo Dollar asked for 200,000 donors to give $300 each to fund the purchase of a new $65 million Gulfstream G650 jet back in 2015, he faced an immediate backlash due to critical international news coverage. Instead of purchasing the Gulfstream G650, Dollar’s property holding company, World Heir, acquired two used jets: a Gulfstream G-IV (tail number N878SM) and a Learjet 60 (tail number N978SM), which was recently sold.

Why can’t these churches see that they fit God’s description of the church at Laodicea? It is the seventh church representing the church in the seventh year of the 70th Week of Daniel, the final year before Jesus returns to Earth with resurrected Saints to fight the battle of Armageddon and usher in His Millennial Kingdom (http://www.millennialkingdom.net) The church of Laodicea is left behind to face the wrath of God that is poured out with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements over the final year. The sixth church, the church of Philadelphia, is raptured and kept from the wrath of God.

CHURCH OF LAODICEA: LEFT BEHIND TO FACE THE WRATH OF GOD

“‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.” Revelation 3:15-17

CHURCH OF LAODICEA: “BE ZEALOUS AND REPENT

I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.Revelation 3:18-20

CHURCH OF PHILADELPHIA: “KEPT FROM THE HOUR OF TRIAL”

‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name... Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.Revelation 3:8,10

ELON MUSK SUPPORTS DONALD TRUMP

At the end of the nearly two-hour Musk/Trump exchange on X, Musk ended with the following remark.

I think we’re at a fork in the road of destiny, of civilization, and I think we need to take the right path, and I think you’re the right path, so I think that’s where it comes down,” Musk added.

The interview, which Musk claimed was listened to by approximately 1 billion people as of Tuesday, marked Trump’s most prominent return to the platform after being banned in the wake of the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Here are 5 highlights from their exchange.

‘Now I’m more of a believer’

The two started off their discussion talking about the assassination attempt against Trump on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, which claimed the life of volunteer firefighter Corey Comperatore and critically injured two other rallygoers.

Trump told Musk that the attempt against his life was “surreal” and “not pleasant,” but also went on to suggest that his narrow escape from death was the result of divine intervention and that it has strengthened his faith in God.

Trump noted that he only avoided a bullet because he happened to turn his head slightly at just the right moment as he was looking off toward his right at a chart about illegal immigration statistics.

“For those who don’t believe in God, I think we’ve got to all start thinking about that. I’m a believer. Now I’m more of a believer, I think. And a lot of people have said that to me. A lot of great people have said that to me, actually,” he continued.

Crime Crisis

While Trump joked that illegal immigration saved his life because of the chart he turned to look at in Butler, he also spoke about the dangers posed by the unrestrained surge of illegal immigration during the Biden-Harris administration.

Trump painted a grim view of Biden’s presidency, claiming that “nobody’s better off now” than they were four years ago amid what he claimed were rising crime and inflation.

“Now [people] really feel unsafe, because you have a new form of crime. It’s called ‘migrant crime.’ I call it Biden migrant crime,’ maybe I’ll call it ‘Kamala migrant crime.'”

Musk noted how his mother lives in New York City and that three of her friends were assaulted in separate incidents while walking in the streets.

“They don’t even bother reporting it, because they know people aren’t going to get prosecuted,” Musk said. “They just let violent criminals out in New York.”

“The only one that gets prosecuted is Donald Trump,” Trump interjected, later adding that the allegedly political persecution against him is setting a dangerous precedent.

Tampon Tim

Trump hit at Harris’ running mate Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., for supporting a 2023 state education law that potentially mandated free tampons in public school boys’ bathrooms.

Musk asked Trump to comment on apparent attempts to portray Vice President Kamala Harris as a moderate despite her far-left political record, which he described as an “overnight propaganda attempt.”

“Her running mate approved, signed into legislation, tampons in boys’ bathrooms, OK?” Trump said as Musk laughed. “Now, that’s all I have to hear. Tampons in boys’ bathrooms. And that means she believes in that, too!”

Trump added that she picked Walz because she is closest to him as “an anti-Israel, radical left person,” and that if the two of them win, he doesn’t think “the country can survive.”

EU and NATO

Trump also blasted the European Union for allegedly ripping off the United States, even as the U.S. provides protection for them through NATO.

“I know the European Union very well,” Trump said. “They take great advantage of the United States in trade, as you know. Through a different forum, NATO, we protect them. And yet, if you build a car in the United States, you can’t sell it in Europe. You just can’t sell it, it’s impossible. The same thing with our farmers. Our farmers find it very difficult to do business,” Trump said.

“We have a deficit with them of $250 billion, which people don’t know. It sounds so nice — the ‘European Union,’ but let me tell you, they’re not as tough as China, but they’re bad. And let them know it, and that’s probably why they notified you,” Trump continued, referring to the letter that European Commissioner for Internal Market and Services Thierry Breton sent to Musk ahead of the Trump interview that warned him against spreading “harmful content.”

A fork in the road

At the end of their conversation, Trump and Musk agreed that the upcoming U.S. presidential election presents “a fork in the road.”

Trump explained that he intends to provide more incentive for companies to come to the U.S. and hire American citizens, which he noted is fundamental to the American Dream.

“We’re going to give incentive to companies to come into our country not to leave our country,” he said. “We’re going to be giving tremendous incentives. We want companies to build here not to build in other locations, and we want to create jobs.”

“It’s about the American Dream, you don’t hear about the American Dream anymore, Elon,” Trump continued, adding that Musk is an example of the American Dream “in the truest sense.”

“And you’re going to hear about it from people,” he said. “They need that incentive to go out and do it. And they’re going to love their lives. […] They’re going to look forward to getting up in the morning and going to a job that they love, not a job that they can’t stand, or not any job at all, where they have no money.”

Trump closed his remarks by calling Musk “a great inspiration” and warning that the election will be unusually consequential.

“We’re going to have a big election coming up, and I think November 5 will be the most important day in the history of our country,” Trump said. “I think that election will be the most important, and I think it’ll end up being maybe the most important day in the history of our country. Because if we don’t win, I just feel so sorry for everybody.”
