WHY WILL THE WORLD LARGELY REJECT THE MESSAGE OF GOD’S TWO SUPERNATURAL WITNESSES?

Before God pours out His wrath upon the Earth He always warns the people in advance: Noah, “a preacher of righteousness” (2 Peter 2: 5), was a witness before the judgment of the flood; Lot was as a witness to Sodom and Gomorrah (2 Peter 2: 6-7); and again, Jonah witnessed to Nineveh (John 1: 2). So too, it will be when Mystery Babylon’s “sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities” (Revelation 18: 5). Therefore, when God decides it is time, God will send His Two Witnesses/Prophets to the world to witness with signs and wonders of what is coming.

When Moses and Aaron gave witness of God’s intentions to Pharaoh’s court, their powerful message was not heeded because Satan had previously installed his counterfeits; He is the great deceiver. Today, the idea of directed panspermia, the thousands of UFO sightings, alien abductions, etc. are the modern equivalent to Pharaoh’s court, installed beforehand so the world will not heed the message of the Two Witnesses. Children have been bombarded with movies and video games that feature aliens.

Mankind will hate the Two because even now the world bows down to the harlot’s (Mystery Babylon) cosmopolitan charm, full of pride, gossip, slander, lust of power, rebellion, hatred and denial of the Creator, vengeance against God, military might, social influence, atheism and humanism. The world loves her seductive consumerism, gluttony, covetousness, and greed of the bull-god of Wall Street. The world lauds her for her progressive ideals of harlotry, pornography, fornication, women with women, men with men, transvestitism, transgenderism, and baby-killing.

The Two Witnesses will be commissioned “before the decree is issued… Before the day of the LORD’s anger comes” (Zephaniah 2: 2), and will exhort the world: “Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD’s anger” (Zephaniah 2: 3). Just as Moses came with power to authenticate God’s message, so will the Two.

While I am persuaded the Two Witnesses will actually be Moses and Elijah, it is impossible to prove conclusively. Nevertheless, what matters is that these two individuals will, at the very least, operate in the spirit of Moses and Elijah, even if they are not those two in person.

When will the two witnesses begin their ministry? We know their ministry lasts 3 and 1/2 years. For me the most appropriate times is when Jesus opens the first seal. If this is the case they would be killed at the midpoint of the seven years before Jesus returns first time to rapture the Saints. It is the time when Jesus warns the Jews that they need to get out of Jerusalem so this maybe the appropriate time for the two witnesses ministry to end. It is also the time when the Antichrist declares He is God (Abomination of Desolation). Being able to kill the two witnesses would confirm his claim. The fact they are resurrected would put a dampener on it but at least they are gone. The other option is they start their ministry during the year of the third seal being opened (the rider of the black horse) and finish their ministry at the end of the sixth seal when they are raptured with the Saints. God then begins to pour out His wrath with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements.

CONFIRMATION WE ARE IN THE BIBLICAL END TIMES

Fuller Seminary is a well-known theological school with campuses in California, Texas, and Arizona, and it advertises itself as an evangelical graduate institution with “roots in orthodoxy.” Well, recently, the Fuller Seminary president, in a letter about LGBTQ issues, stated:

After several years of consultation, feedback, and dialogue, the Board of Trustees reconfirmed the institution’s commitment to its historic theological understanding of marriage and human sexuality—a union between a man and a woman and sexual intimacy within the context of that union. At the same time, we acknowledge that faithful Christians—through prayerful study, spiritual discernment, and lived experience—have come to affirm other covenantal forms of relationship.

It took several years of “consultation, feedback, and dialogue” to make a statement on marriage and human sexuality when all they had was to read and believe God’s Word:

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27

“Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.” Genesis 2:24–25

And see the words of Jesus Christ as the God-man when asked about marriage:

“He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?” Matthew 19:4–5

Since God created marriage, he defines what it is—and it is one man for one woman.

Many seminaries, Bible colleges, Christian colleges and universities, and churches today, rather than fearing God, fear man and try to appease everyone (and in the process, they appease no one and certainly don’t please the Lord!).

These so-called Biblical institutions do not understand where we are on the Biblical timetable, yet there are two thousand Biblical prophecies related to Jesus’ second coming. Most have been fulfilled or are being fulfilled in our day.

Just like the religious leaders of Jesus’ first coming to Earth did not get it, despite three hundred Biblical prophecies forecasting it, the religious leaders of our day are also blind to the truth of His second coming.

We need to take a bold stand on God’s Word beginning in Genesis, challenge these seminaries, Bible colleges, Christian colleges, universities, churches, and culture, and not bend our stand on God’s Word to fit with the culture and compromise Christians. We must make the most of these last days to ensure we complete the work God has prepared for us to do.

PREPARING FOR THE COMING TRIBULATION

This is a critical presentation by Nelson Walters for Christians on preparing for the coming tribulation before Jesus’ second coming. Nelson takes us to the Scripture where Peter first gets Jesus’ commendation for hearing from his Heavenly Father in answering Jesus’ question, “Who do you say I am?”, correctly, but then, shortly after, Jesus rebukes Peter with “Get behind me, Satan! For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.” Mark 8:33

How could Peter go so quickly from hearing from God to hearing and acting on Satan’s word? This Scripture teaches an important lesson that we need to take to heart.

WHAT IS AHEAD FOR 2024?

The fact is the world is headed into a darker future. God has revealed in His Word exactly how this world will end. The good news is that Satan’s hold on the world is soon coming to an end and then we will have 1000 years of Jesus and the resurrected saints ruling the nations from a totally restored Jerusalem. Israel will be the head nation operating from God’s allotted borders as shown in this picture.

At an extremely low point in the disciples lives: Jesus had told them that he was going to be killed and the temple destroyed so they came to Jesus with the following question.

“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Matthew 24:3

Jesus gave them this answer:

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
“Then they will deliver you (Christians) up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:7-14

What Jesus revealed to them is further proof of the authenticity of God’s Word. Why! because what Jesus prophesied is being fulfilled in our day. Also if you were starting up a new, albeit, false religion is this the way you would do it? I don’t think so: “Then they will deliver you (Christians) up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.“
