Is the Middle East inching toward all-out war? The Biblical answer is yes, and the time is near.

Nothing is certain. Iran’s leadership has promised, publicly, loudly, and repeatedly, that it will strike Israel militarily. It says this is to avenge the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on July 31 in Tehran. This killing was carried out by Israel, although Jerusalem has not claimed responsibility for the event.

Haniyeh has been replaced as overall Hamas leader by Yahya Sinwar, the architect of the October 7 atrocity. A ceasefire may still be on the cards, but whenever Sinwar shows his face the Israelis will surely kill him.

A day before Haniyeh’s death, an Israeli strike killed Hezbollah’s military commander, Fuad Shukr, in Beirut. The Israelis were responding to a Hezbollah 50kg rocket that hit an Israeli Druze village and killed 12 young people. As a result of the death of its military commander, Hezbollah too has vowed, repeatedly and explicitly, a major strike on Israel.

So Iran and Hezbollah have now committed to military actions against Israel in the coming days.

The world has taken these threats seriously. The Albanese government advised Australians in Lebanon to leave now, while they can. Numbers of international airlines have stopped flights to Beirut and some to Israel. Others have decided to avoid Iranian air space.

Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, says Israel is already at war with Iran.

Netanyahu sees Iran as a unique existential threat to Israel. He also sees it as having a much bigger significance in global politics. In his recent speech to the US Congress, Netanyahu said: “For Iran, Israel is first, America is next. So, when Israel fights Hamas, we’re fighting Iran. When we fight Hezbollah, we’re fighting Iran. And when we fight Iran, we’re fighting the most radical and murderous enemy of the United States.

Iran’s leadership seethes with visceral hatred of Israel. Even in Australia, the Iranian ambassador thought it good form to tweet out a statement that he hoped the “Zionist plague” would be “wiped from the map” by 2027.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, promised “harsh punishment” for Israel. Hossein Salami, the commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, vowed a “severe response” to teach Israel a lesson.

Senior Iranian officials reportedly told Arab governments they no longer cared whether their forthcoming attack on Israel caused an all-out regional war. This may be a bluff, or at least stylised military signalling.

Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, also told his own people his group would hit Israel harder than before. In a fiery speech in Beirut he declared: “We have not sought escalations until now, we have been fighting in support of Gaza but keeping in mind the Lebanese national interest. Every time one of our commanders was killed, our response was heightened but always measured.

“But the assassination of a top (Hezbollah) leader (in Beirut) must be treated differently. Our response is coming, God willing, from us and the axis of resistance – and it must be strong.”

The “axis of resistance” Nasrallah is talking about is Iran and its regional proxies, namely Hezbollah, the Houthis in Yemen, Shi’ite militias in Iraq and Syria, and Hamas as well as Palestinian Islamic Jihad in the Palestinian territories.

All except the Palestinian groups are Shi’ite. Iran has always aspired, mostly forlornly, to lead and inspire the entire Muslim world. Its leaders had close connections to the Sunni extremist Muslim Brotherhood. Although the Arab Middle East generally is divided into Sunni versus Shia, this hasn’t stopped Iran from supporting, supplying, and effectively leading Hamas and PIJ.

Iran is the ram of Daniel 8:4. “I saw the ram charging westward, northward and southward. No beast could stand before him, and there was no one who could rescue from his power.” With its proxies: Hezbollah (Lebanon), Hamas (Gaza), Palestinian Islamic Jihad (West Bank and Gaza), Houthi (Yemen), Al-Ashtar Brigades (Bahrain), Kata’ib Hezbollah (Iraq), Badr Organization (Iraq), Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq (Iraq), Fatemiyoun Brigade (Syria), Zainabiyoun Brigade (Syria), Quawt al-Ridha (Syria), Baqir Brigade (Syria) it is pushing westward, northward and southward.

Who is the goat of Daniel 8? The Hebrew word translated “Greece” is actually YAVAN. Yavan were an ancient people that occupied eastern Greece and western Turkey. The principle city within the region is Istanbul. The Angel is not referring to Greece but rather to the land once occupied by the Yavan people who lived in western Turkey! Hence, Turkey is the goat. Daniel instructs us that a great war is about to take place between Iran and Turkey, and Turkey will ultimately prevail. It will be a war between Shia Muslims and Sunni Muslims. Turkey will re-conquer Babylon (Iraq) and conquer Persia (Iran). This will create an empire that is part Lion, part Bear, and part Leopard (referring to Rev. 13). A revived Ottoman Empire.

Why does scripture highlight this particular war? It is highlighted because it launches the career of the Antichrist! Scripture reveals that a revived Ottoman Empire exists for a short time but it is broken up into four. We are not told by whom but it could be the United Nations. They would not like to see a revived Ottoman Empire. It is out of one of the four nations the Antichrist arises.

“Out of one of them came a little horn, which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the glorious land. It grew great, even to the host of heaven. And some of the host and some of the stars it threw down to the ground and trampled on them. It became great, even as great as the Prince of the host. And the regular burnt offering was taken away from him, and the place of his sanctuary was overthrown.“ Daniel 8:9-11

For Christians, the next major end-times sign is the Goat (Turkey/Sunni) v Ram (Iran/Shia) war. When this eventuates Christians can show non-believers the truth of God’s Word. Apocalyptic evangelism should be a powerful tool.

DISNEY+ ‘STAR WARS’ SERIES FEATURES COVEN OF LESBIAN WITCHES PROCREATING

The conservative family advocacy group One Million Moms criticized Disney+’s new series, “Star Wars: The Acolyte,” for promoting LGBT themes and witchcraft. The series, which debuted on Disney+ last month, has sparked controversy for its portrayal of lesbian characters using supernatural elements to conceive children.

“The Acolyte,” the latest addition to the ‘Star Wars’ franchise, incorporates a narrative in which characters harness the mystical “force” to initiate childbirth among lesbians. According to One Million Moms, this element signifies a clear stance by Disney+ in the ongoing cultural conflict over media content standards.

The group contends that such themes are inappropriate for a platform widely regarded as child-friendly but also indicative of a larger agenda by Disney to engage in the cultural war rather than provide neutral, family-oriented entertainment.

“Disney+ has been under pressure from the gay community to portray openly gay relationships in its TV shows and movies, including those created for families,” the group said in a statement. This new series is a response to those demands, with its overtly lesbian storyline.

“The Acolyte” has been designed to appeal to a progressive audience from its inception. The series creator, Leslye Headland, has been vocal about her intentions to create a narrative that resonates with queer individuals, inspired by personal experiences and previous Disney works like “Frozen,” which portrayed non-heterosexual love as true love.

In an interview posted on X, Headland explained that her desire was “to make something like this that is, you know, for lack of a better term, Disney, meaning something that like my parents would have allowed me to see when I was younger as a queer person, that I would have been able to understand as a queer person.” She asserted that had such a program existed, she “would have had a completely different life.”

Headland’s approach to “Star Wars” was not just about adding new characters but about reshaping the understanding of familial and romantic relationships within the narrative framework of the “High Republic” era of the “Star Wars” universe.

The portrayal of diverse sexual orientations is not isolated to “The Acolyte.” Other franchises, such as DC Comics, have also embraced similar narratives. For instance, DC announced on National Coming Out Day in 2021 that Superman’s son, Jon Kent, would be depicted as bisexual in the “Superman: Son of Kal-El” series. Earlier that year, “Batman: Urban Legends” featured Robin in a romantic relationship with a male friend.

Consider also the takeover by LGBTQ of the opening ceremony at the Paris Olympic Games, it demonstrates that the move to take God and His values out of society is worldwide. The blasphemous depiction of drag queens mimicking the Last Supper was a bold statement by the Olympic producers, in collaboration with Euro Globalists, signaling their intent to reshape the world in their distorted image. This act symbolically declares that the new world order they envision seeks to systematically dismantle the Judeo-Christian values that have underpinned Western civilization for over a millennium. This strategic move highlights their agenda to overturn the moral and cultural foundations that have shaped Europe and the Western nations for centuries.

In the first 600 years of the Church, Christians infiltrated every facet of society, ultimately dismantling the pagan gods of the Roman and Greco cultures. Apostolic pioneers like Saint Patrick and Saint Boniface ventured into pagan strongholds such as Ireland and Germany. They challenged the reigning deities and demonstrated the supremacy of Jesus Christ by triumphing over demonically inspired priests and pagan clergy in power encounters.

The Scripture for the day is about the priest and the blood and the priest waves his bloodied hand as Trump did. The assassination attempt occurs two days before he is elevated at the Republican Convention to be their nominated person for the office of President of the USA.

Is Trump behind the recent action taken by a select group of Republicans at the RNC Platform Committee Meeting last week? They changed the Republican Party’s Platform on which it will stand for re-election. The platform waters down and walks away from bedrock principles that have defined the Republican Party. They decided that to win they needed to get rid of strong pro-life language out of the platform. Not only is the RNC position on Pro-life watered down but marriage as well. All it says now is the RNC supports the sanctity of marriage. What does that mean? It no longer defines marriage as between a man and a woman. If he is behind this action, he is not fulfilling God’s calling to be God’s man, to lead the nation back to God.

AI is bringing us an incredible productivity boom. It will enable even low-income families to have access to products and services that in the past could have only been afforded by high-net-worth families. Mind you, there are going to be incredible job losses through AI and Robotics.

Every family with paid work will have an AI-powered executive assistant to help with daily chores and tasks. It will save hours a day normally lost to menial, low-value tasks.

Intelligent humanoid robots will be affordable and dramatically improve the quality of life. With righteous governance, we would be able to bring the rest of the world out of poverty. And we’ll be able to soon cure diseases that today have no known cure with technology like gene editing.

With nuclear fusion technology – which will be, in part, powered by AI – not only will we have limitless, clean energy… but it will be cheaper than all forms of electricity that we use today.

Autonomous driving technology will actually reduce the cost of insurance because 94% of accidents will no longer occur.

However, we currently have corrupt governments. The US government prints trillions of dollars, runs a $1.6 trillion annual deficit, bails out the banking system, restricts U.S. energy extraction and production, and increases U.S. debt by $1 trillion every 100 days, and still thinks they can curb inflation. These policies are intentional, and they are designed to facilitate corruption and grift as well as weaken the economic power of the overall population. He has given us numerous end times prophecies of how He intends to take back control of planet Earth from Satan and have Jesus, His Son rule and reign over planet Earth for 1,000 years. The theory of evolution is a failed theory. The discovery of DNA and the electron microscope rang the “death knell” of evolution according to Dr Dean Kenyon. He was Professor of Biochemistry at Stanford University and had written two evolutionary biochemistry textbooks when he came to this conclusion. DNA is complex information that controls the manufacturing factories and transport devices within each cell. Information comes from one source, and that is intelligence. Moreover, there is no way the manufacturing factories and transport devices that are controlled by the information on the DNA could have evolved. Both needed to be functional on day one. The evidence for an Intelligent Creator (God) is overwhelming.

God has revealed the true history of the Cosmos. It is not the billions of years required by evolution but 6,000 years. The worldwide flood of Noah’s Day gave the world billions of dead things, and fossil fuels (buried flora and fauna).

We have had 6000 years with Satan and his demons controlling the world. During Jesus’ Millennial Kingdom, Satan will be bound but at the end of the thousand years he is released and sadly he is still able to convince a multitude of people to rebel against Jesus and the glorified Saints. They are quickly destroyed. God then destroys this Earth and Heaven. The second resurrection and White Throne judgement then follow. It is only after the White Throne judgement does John sees the heavenly Jerusalem descending to a new Earth where only the righteous will dwell.

HOW THE WORLD HAS CHANGED AND IT WILL CHANGE EVEN MORE RADICALLY

Note the year given for China’s import of microchips is 2017. Imagine what AI and Robotics will do to increase this figure for Nvidia, Intel, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Samsung, Broadcom Inc., Qualcomm Inc., and many other semiconductor companies.

This website is about helping people recognize God exists and that He is in control of His universe. God’s Word, the Bible provides a true history of the Cosmos from its beginning to its firey end. Much of the Bible is prophecy and much of that prophecy has been fulfilled to the letter, so, we can expect the many end-times prophecies also to be fulfilled. We saw a major end-times prophecy fulfilled in 1948 when Israel was re-established as a nation so Berean Christians are watching as other prophecies play out in our time.

Daniel was given many end-times prophecies 700 years BC. Imagine how he must have been perplexed when he wrote: “But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Daniel 12:4

Daniel had no knowledge of computers, semiconductors, or airplane travel when he wrote “Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

God has told us that the book of Daniel is for the end times and it is amazing how Daniel unlocks the final book of the Bible, Revelation which is all about the end times and Jesus’ coming Millennial Kingdom. This Earth has had 6,000 years of Satan’s rule. It still has 1000 years before God destroys it, with Jesus ruling and reigning over the nations from a new Jerusalem. The nation God established, Israel, for His purposes will finally fulfill its destiny with its promised Messiah, Jesus as king (http://www.millennialkingdom.net).

Satan is bound for most of the 1,000 years: “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be released for a little while.” Revelation 20:1-3

When Satan is released he still gathers an army of rebellious people to come against Jesus and the Saints.

“And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” Revelation 20:7-10

God destroys this Earth with fire. The second resurrection takes place and Jesus judges them at the White Throne judgement.

“Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.” Revelation 20:11-12

For believers, there will be a new heaven and new Earth where only the righteous dwell.

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away… And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.” Revelation 21:1,3

DRAG QUEENS TAKE CENTER STAGE AT PARIS OLYMPICS OPENING CEREMONY

 The Associated Press report of The Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony: “In an unprecedented display of inclusivity, drag queens took center stage at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, showcasing the vibrant and influential role of the French LGBTQ+ community.

The 2024 Olympics made a mockery of Christianity as drag queens and dancers lined a long table resembling Da Vinci’s “The Last Supper”, which marks the last meal shared with Christ and his disciples.

Le Filip, the recent winner of “Drag Race France,” expressed their positive “surprise” and “pride” at the ceremony’s scale and representation.

“I thought it would be a five-minute drag event with queer representation. I was amazed. It started with Lady Gaga, then we had drag queens, a huge rave, and a fire in the sky,” they said. “It felt like a crowning all over again. I am proud to see my friends and queer people on the world stage.”

In addition to inviting condemnation for mocking one of the most sacred events for Christians, the opening ceremonies featured another prop viewed as a slap in the face to people of faith: a golden calf. As explained in Exodus 32, while the people of Egypt were waiting for Moses to come down from the mountain, they decided to create an idol of a golden calf despite God’s instructions in Exodus 20 not to worship idols.

A fashion show at the ceremony included a scene that resembled a modern re-creation of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, with French actor Philippe Katerine appearing as the Greek god Dionysus, painted blue and wearing little more than a bunch of flowers covering his modesty. Katerine was reclining on a dinner platter in an attempt to imitate Dionysus, the pagan god of drunkenness and orgies. 

St Peter and Paul’s Catholic Cathedral bishop Andrew Mukukuoi told The Australian the act was a distasteful joke. “I think it was offensive to all Christians around the world,” Father Mukukuoi said.

“It was a mockery because they made a joke of something really important for Christians, the Last Supper was when Christ gave us his body.” “They didn’t mock any other religion but chose to make a joke of Christianity. It was a distasteful thing to watch and whoever commissioned this should be held to account.”

Surely, this will be sufficient evidence to show Christians that we are in the Biblical prophesied end times before Jesus returns to restore righteousness. God will not allow His Son to be mocked. Macron does not realise the extent of the judgment he has unleashed on the nation he governs.

PSALM 83 AND END TIMES PROPHECIES

Does Psalm 83 speak of the end times? Jonathan Cahn says it does. It is about the enemies of Israel coming against Israel to destroy it. The enemies of Israel are enemies of God.

Satan has been coming against Israel ever since its inception. The nations mentioned in Psalm 83 are all the nations that are coming against Israel today so it does have meaning for today. Remember that Israel did not exist as a nation for almost 2,000 years. It only became a nation again in 1948 and when it became a nation again, almost immediately, all of the nations mentioned in Psalm 83 came against Israel intending to annihilate it exactly as stated: “They say, “Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!” Psalms 83:4

This is a great sermon. God has raised up Jonathan Cahn as an end-times prophet. He is just one of many who speak the truth from God’s Word about the perilous times we are living in.

HOW ACADEMIA GET IT WRONG WHEN THEY REJECT THE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD

The article in The Australian this weekend by Timothy J. Lynch, professor of American politics at the University of Melbourne, “The Assassin’s bullet shows why the left gets history all wrong” shows how academia and a society, that has rejected God as Creator, and His sovereignty over His Cosmos, will view events such as the recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump. He provides an analogy of the similarities of the assassination attempts on Trump and Hitler, to underscore not how similar Trump is to Hitler, but rather, how chance and luck – good and bad – often decide history.

Lynch’s assessment of where academia and society are at is strangely accurate: “We have built a culture on a misplaced sense of mastery, that we can control the weather, that gender is fluid, and that grand theories are better than simple explanations for the death of kings and survival of presidential candidates.

He says, “I’ve spent a career in the social sciences. We tend to favour big causes of things. The economic determinism of Karl Marx was an inescapable part of the humanities for 150 years. Today, class-based analysis has been eclipsed by research programs setting out to show the explanatory power of race and/or gender. Entire university careers can be spun out sifting data to fit a chosen structural theory. Critical race theory is in vogue, especially in the US.

Its proponents claim that all issues, from the everyday interactions of men and women to global inequalities, can (and must) be tied to the racism of white people. In the Anglophobe West, you would be hard-pressed to find a college campus or government department that does not pay some sort of homage to this theory. It is only a theory, after all.

Many disciplines do something similar with patriarchy. It has become a meta-cause of various social injustices. Patriarchy must be smashed. Ditto “toxic masculinity”. Again, a big cause can and must be moulded to fit the effect requiring one. Every modern social science has its bogeyperson – the big structural nemesis demanding defeat. 

However, Trump’s narrow escape has no significant structural explanation. He was plain lucky. He moved his head, just as Hitler stood at the strongest part of the table, at just the right moment. 

Academics hate this stuff. We are uneasy with the unexpected, the contingent, and the accidental.

We dismiss it as too epiphenomenal – as too unrelated to the big structural pressures we need to see manifest. To have world history turn on the turning of Trump’s head is impossible to model, measure, and predict.

We are still too close to know how the events in Pennsylvania will be remembered. But already, like those in Dallas on November 22, 1963, large causes, even conspiracies, are being found for what was simply one insignificant young man choosing to kill his significant peer.

The real agents of history turn out to be men such as John Wilkes Booth (who killed President Abraham Lincoln), Gavrilo Princip (who killed Archduke Franz Ferdinand), and Lee Harvey Oswald (who killed President John F. Kennedy).

The structure within which each man acted is a historical curiosity, incidental or irrelevant. Their skill, and certainly their luck, changed history. So why, in our explanations of events, do we grasp for structure over agency?

One important reason, I think, is ideological: agency as an explanation makes people accountable for their actions. Oppressed people cannot be responsible for, much less accountable, for their oppression. Intersectionality, the faux science of progressive academia, fits everyone onto an oppressor v oppressed scale.

This leads to a contemporary discourse where the individual is exculpated from the consequences of his poor decisions. George Floyd, for example, did not make dumb life choices leading to him to Minneapolis that 2020 day. His killing could not simply be a chance encounter with a bad cop. Rather, his fate was explicable wholly in terms of the racism of the city’s police, itself part of the “white supremacy” and “structural racism” of the wider system. For the left, his agency was irrelevant; he had none.

A second related reason is the need to condemn a “great man” theory, that the history of the world is but the biography of great men. The new left recoils at the notion that great white men are the engines of history – what about all the forgotten women and people of colour? – while claiming these individuals are the progenitors of contemporary injustice.

The irony is the left’s implicit faith in the diagnosis of history as an inescapable structural force by one of history’s greatest men: a 19th-century Jewish economic theorist called Marx. 

A third reason we prefer structure to agency is psychological. It is much more reassuring to blame society for what ails us than to admit that miscalculation and bad luck account for our lot. The popularity of psychology as an academic discipline, especially among young women, speaks to a deep-seated need for answers that religious faith used to provide. Instead of individual repentance for sin as a guarantor of salvation, we now encourage groups to find blame in structures they cannot control but must work to change.

Life and death do not work this way. I’d wager your greatest love and most profound tragedy will have more to do with chance and fate (the goddess worshipped by Romans as Fortuna) than with any systemic, structural, or social force.”

Lynch mentions that the once-held religious faith provided the answers to the big questions and what is required for salvation. But a world that has rejected God’s history of the world given to us by God in His Word, the Bible, is now facing the wrath of God. Fulfilled prophecy proves God’s Word provides the true history of the world. We should therefore believe the future end times prophecies of God’s coming Trumpet (Revelation 8;6-) and Bowl (Revelation 16:1-) judgements.
