THE FUTURE OF THE GAZA STRIP REVEALED IN ZEPHANIAH

It is amazing to see what God reveals to Zephaniah about the future of Gaza.

“Gather together, yes, gather, O shameless nation, before the decree takes effect —before the day passes away like chaff—
before there comes upon you the burning anger of the Lord, before there comes upon you the day of the anger of the Lord.
Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, who do his just commands; seek righteousness; seek humility; perhaps you may be hidden on the day of the anger of the Lord. For Gaza shall be deserted, and Ashkelon shall become a desolation; Ashdod’s people shall be driven out at noon, and Ekron shall be uprooted.” Zephaniah 2:1-4

Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Ekron were three of the five major cities (the Philistine Pentapolis) in ancient Philistia, along with Gaza and Gath. Hence this prophecy is about the land now called the Gaza Strip.

It appears this prophecy is about the end times: “before the “Day of the Lord“. It clearly tells us that Gaza will be deserted and in the following verse that the Palestinians (Philistines) are destroyed.

“Woe to you inhabitants of the seacoast, you nation of the Cherethites! The word of the Lord is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines; and I will destroy you until no inhabitant is left.” Zephaniah 2:5

The Cherethites are often described as a Philistine clan, subgroup, or closely related people living along the seacoast in the “land of the Philistines.”

Moreover, it is clear from the next verses that Gaza will become the property of Judah and it will be pastureland in Jesus Millennial Kingdom (http://www.millennialkingdom.net).

“And you, O seacoast, shall be pastures, with meadows for shepherds and folds for flocks. The seacoast shall become the possession of the remnant of the house of Judah, on which they shall graze, and in the houses of Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening. For the Lord their God will be mindful of them and restore their fortunes.” Zephaniah 2:6-7

ANOTHER TIMELINE FOR JESUS RETURN TO EARTH

Let me preface this post by saying that I know very little about Randy Kay as this is the first video of his that I have watched. I understand that his conversion was the result of a near death experience. He is author of Heaven Stormed: A Heavenly Encounter Reveals Your Assignment in the End Time Outpouring and Tribulation.

Nevertheless, I agree with the Timeline he gives for the history of the Cosmos and was impressed with his Scriptural defence of his end times position, hence this post.

Randy Kay claims the math is in. The clock that ran from Daniel to the cross is the same clock that ran from Ezekiel to 1948 — and every line of biblical math is now pointing to a single window in history. We are living inside that window.

The end to Satan’s rule over this Earth is at hand. I am getting excited, how about you? Jesus return to restore righteousness and rescue Israel, the nation He established for His purposes is soon to occur. Even the Jews who have not come to realise that Jesus is their Messiah know from the O.T., their Bible, that their long awaited Messiah is soon to come on the scene. God revealed to them their entire history, all the O.T prophets including Moses were told their entire story. Even before they entered the Promised Land, Moses told them that because of disobedience they would be cast out of it and scattered throughout the world but also that God would eventually regather them back to the land He gave them, and that their Messiah would rule the nations of the world from a renewed Jerusalem. EGYPT IN BIBLICAL END TIMES PROPHECY

Egypt has opposed the State of Israel since its rebirth in 1948. Yet time and time again, Israel has been able to push back against the Egyptian army. In the late 1970s, Israel agreed to return the Sinai to Egypt in exchange for peace. Currently, it appears that this agreement may be coming to an end. Egypt has positioned 40,000 troops in the Sinai, which is a direct violation of the peace agreement.

As Israel continues to fight Iran and its proxies, Egypt is weighing its options. Egypt knows its military is over twice the size of Israel’s military. And with most of Israel’s air force often flying over the skies of Iran hours from home, Egypt’s odds have never looked better.

Daniel 11:40-43 (particularly verses 40 onward) is the primary Old Testament passage describing an end-times conflict involving Egypt (the “king of the South”) moving against the region, including Israel (the “Glorious Land”).

“At the time of the end, the king of the south (Egypt) shall attack him, but the king of the north shall rush upon him like a whirlwind, with chariots and horsemen, and with many ships. And he shall come into countries and shall overflow and pass through. He shall come into the glorious land. And tens of thousands shall fall, but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom and Moab and the main part of the Ammonites. He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall become ruler of the treasures of gold and of silver, and all the precious things of Egypt, and the Libyans and the Cushites shall follow in his train. But news from the east and the north shall alarm him, and he shall go out with great fury to destroy and devote many to destruction. And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him.” Daniel 11:40-45

In many prophetic interpretations, the “king of the South” refers to a power or coalition centered in or led by Egypt (historically the Ptolemaic kingdom south of Israel), which initiates conflict at the “time of the end.” The “king of the North” (often linked to the Antichrist or a northern power) then responds decisively, overrunning Egypt while also entering Israel. This fits into the broader sequence leading toward the final battles, including Armageddon.

J.D.VANCE SPEAKS AT THE RE-DEDICATE FESTIVAL

Vance observed in his remarks that Christianity has been inextricable with America since its founding, tracing its religious heritage and reliance upon God from Plymouth Colony Gov. William Bradford’s first Thanksgiving proclamation in 1623 through the Founding Fathers, the Civil War and the present day.

“In times of suffering and in times of triumph, millions of Americans continue to turn to prayer and their faith in God,” he said, but went on to warn of the ruinous consequences if that spiritual foundation erodes.

“If we do not see that God loves us, we have little reason and little inspiration to love one another. This love, which forms our morality, is the foundation of a peaceful and healthful society. That’s why it’s so encouraging to see a renewed sense of faith emerging among America’s young people,” he said.

“Defying predictions, the experts said that religion and faith were dying today. A wave of young Americans is returning to the pews, and we know that they’re looking for meaning, for authority, for direction, and of course for closeness with God. That should give all of us hope for our future together as Americans.”

“It certainly gives me hope as your vice president, because prayer is not merely something we do in times of crisis. It is a continual disposition of love toward God, and through that love toward one another, through our fellow citizens,” he said.

As well, Pope Leo’s recent visit to the Mosque of Algiers–where he removed his shoes, stood in silent reflection before the mihrab, and expressed gratitude for being in “a place that represents the space proper to God“. This is not a harmless gesture of goodwill. It is a deeply consequential moment that raises serious questions about how the highest office in the Catholic Church is choosing to represent Christian truth in the public square. When the Pope describes the mosque as “a space proper to God,” the problem intensifies. He is identifying the Muslim God, Allah as equivalent to his God and yet according to the Koran, Allah has no son and there is no trinity. Moreover, Muslims can kill Christians if they will not convert to Islam.

THE CASE FOR A PREWRATH RAPTURE

In this expository study of Revelation 6, Baruch Korman presents the arguments for a PreWrath Rapture. Revelation 6 reveals that the seals represent persecution and the activity of the enemy, not divine judgment, whereas the seven trumpet and seven bowl judgements are clearly God’s judgements. Korman emphasizes the believer’s calling to endure and remain faithful during the tribulation, even great tribulation. God allows this time to refine His church. We need to trust in God’s redemptive plan in the last days.

Marvin (Marv) Rosenthal was the main populariser of the PreWrath Rapture. Formerly with Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, he published the seminal book The Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church in 1990 (Thomas Nelson), which brought the view to a wide audience. He also produced the periodical Zion’s Fire and founded Zion’s Hope. His son, David Rosenthal, continues promoting it through teachings and videos.

More recently, both Nelson Walters (in videos like those on the exact start of God’s wrath and the seal/trumpet/bowl sequence) and Baruch Korman (in his end-times teachings) emphasize the distinction between tribulation and God’s wrath. Korman, teaching from the Hebrew/Greek context, stresses that the Great Tribulation is persecution (not divine wrath), with the rapture occurring before the Day of the Lord judgments begin.

JEWS ARE STILL JEWS TODAY BECAUSE THEY KNOW THE END OF THE STORY

There is no shortage of prophetic information provided for the final generation to navigate through the Tribulation period. God has provided all we need. We need to know what is coming because survival for Tribulation saints and Jews largely depends on their ability to understand the pertinent Bible prophecies, anticipate their fulfilment, and be prepared for the events when they occur.

Fast-forwarding from the Tribulation to the Messianic Age, Jesus Millennial Kingdom, the respected American Christian theologian Dwight Pentecost once stated that there is more information in the Bible about the Millennium than about any other period in Scripture. In my research about life in the Millennium, I have to agree with Pentecost. Regardless, of the persecution Jews have received throughout their history, Jews are still Jews today because God revealed the end of the story for them in God’s Word. All of the O.T. prophets were given a picture of the regathering of the Jews to their land and their Messiah ruling all the nations of the Earth from Jerusalem. As well, all Jews and believers need to know that they will go through a time of tribulation, even great tribulation before Jesus returns to rescue Israel, restore righteousness and establish His millennial Kingdom.

“The Final Empire: The Millennial Reign of Messiah” The latest book from ISOW (International School of the Word) shows us that resurrected O.T. and N.T. saints and Raptured saints, all will enjoy what God has planned for them during the 1,000-year Messianic Kingdom. I wrote Chapter 4 of the book: The Reign of Jesus with a Rod of Iron. A summary list of the key aspects of Millennial life is provided below. The following tabulations are not listed in any sequential or prioritized order. During the Millennium, there will be:

  1. A world filled with the knowledge and glory of the Lord (Psalm72:19, Isaiah 11:9, Habakkuk 2:14).
  2. Many kind-hearted people leading righteous, upright lives(Psalm 15:2-5, 24:4
  3. No more war (Isaiah 2:4). According to Revelation 20:7–9,there will be one last major battle spearheaded by Satan, who gets supernaturally defeated by God. This takes place at the end of the Millennium.
  4. No remembrance of the bad events that happened on the past earth (Isaiah 65:16-17).
  5. Advanced aeronautical methods of air travel and transportation (Isaiah 60:8).
  6. A theocratic global government that is ruled with a rod of iron by a just and righteous monarch (the Messiah), who maintains world peace (Isaiah 9:6-7; Psalm 2:7-9; Revelation 2:27;12:5;19:15).
