CHARLIE KIRK’S MURDER FUELLED RELIGIOUS REVIVAL AMONG YOUNG AMERICANS

Kirk’s Assassination Sparks Spiritual Revival

According to a survey conducted by the Barna Group, nearly one fifth (18%) of American adults reported that they became more spiritually active following Kirk’s assassination, while 5% said that they became more politically active and 6% said that they became both more spiritually and more politically active.

“It is remarkable to see the impact of a widely known public figure, and the fact that tens of millions of Americans were inspired to take action as a result of his death,” said Barna Group CEO David Kinnaman in a statement. “There has also been some discussion about Charlie Kirk’s passing as directly responsible for a surge in church attendance,” he observed.

Charlie Kirk Revival

In comments to The Washington Stand, Joseph Backholm, senior research fellow for Biblical Worldview at Family Research Council, noted, “In recent years, Charlie had emphasised the importance of faith before political activity, and in his death that message landed with those who respected him.” Backholm continued, “I also think there’s an understanding that he was murdered, not because of his political positions, but because he was engaged very directly in a spiritual war. This clearly became about more than politics and an encouraging number of young people are seeing this and they want to engage in the spiritual war that inspires our political wars.”

Nearly half (47%) of Americans, including a majority (71%) of practicing Christians, said that they believe Kirk’s death will continue to have a positive impact on Christianity among younger generations, but survey respondents were less optimistic on other issues. Only about a third (34%) of polled adults said that they believe the ability to have civil political conversations will improve in the years ahead, while a similar share (33%) predicted that the ability to have civil political conversations will continue to deteriorate. Less than 30% said that Kirk’s assassination will foster cooperation between conservatives and liberals, while over a third (35%) anticipated a negative impact. The Barna Group noted that Generation Z “respondents were particularly likely to expect negative impacts on political cooperation (45% negative vs. 29% positive), American politics broadly (46% negative vs 33% positive), and civil discourse (43% negative vs 32% positive).”

“Practicing Christians held markedly different views,” the Barna Group observed. In addition to anticipating a positive impact on Christianity among young Americans, a majority (53%) of practicing Christians said that they expect Kirk’s murder to yield a positive impact on civil political discourse. Nearly half (49%) also expected Kirk’s death would have a positive impact on politics in the US and nearly as many (44%) anticipated a positive impact on the relationship between conservatives and liberals.

“It is a cliché that young people are the leaders of tomorrow because it’s true. We need future leaders who understand what time it is and the spiritual nature of our political conflicts,” Backholm told The Washington Stand. “The first responsibility of Christian adults is to disciple young people in our sphere, particularly those in our homes. Charlie was especially good at reaching young people, but he is by no means the only one capable of doing that, and now we all have to pick up the mantle.”

“Every person is on a unique spiritual journey, so there is no one way to activate people spiritually. And some people aren’t interested in the truth and can’t be activated until hearts are changed,” Backholm cautioned. “But there are always people who are seeking the truth as well, and pointing them to the truth requires us to live lives that demonstrate God’s ways are better while also being able to communicate why rebellion against God’s plan for humanity causes so much pain,” he continued. “Reality will always be on our side because God made the rules; we just need to make sure our words and lives consistently demonstrate the beauty and superiority of God’s plan. If we do, people will be interested.”

Charlie Kirk’s death fits the Biblical end times prophecies that are playing out in our world

Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.Matthew 24:9-12

We need to make sure we are not amongst the groups “many will fall away” and “the love of many will grow cold“. Instead, we need to keep our focus on the fact that Jesus is returning soon to initiate His Millennial reign with the glorified Saints on this earth. It is interesting that it was only two years ago now that God took my focus to Jesus Millennial Kingdom. I knew little about what is next on God’s agenda for planet earth. God has unfinished business with Israel. Every old testament prophet was shown that their Messiah will rule the nations of the world from a magnificent new Jerusalem.

Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land. And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms. They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned and will cleanse them, and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” Ezekiel 37:21-23

You shall be called the priests of the Lord; they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God; you shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory, you shall boast. Instead of your shame, there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonour, they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore, in their land, they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.” Isaiah 61:6-7

God had me set up the website http://www.millennialkingdom.net to prepare Christians for reigning with Jesus and the glorified Saints with a rod of iron. Why with a rod of iron? The curse is only partially lifted so people are still being born, sin and die. So different from what most Christians have been taught.

GOD IS RAISING UP THE CHARLIE KIRK’S TO IMPACT GEN Z: DAVID PELLOWE OF “CAS” FOR AUSTRALIA

This video is of the launch event for CAS (Church and State) NOW! – a national movement for the political discipleship of Christian (& curious) young adults. Get informed, equipped, connected with others like you and involved in saving Australia like no generation before NOW! has.

David Pellowe is Australia’s Charlie Kirk we need to get behind Church and State (CAS) http://www.churchandstate.com.au. The time is right, Gen Z is awakening, God is at work.

Dave founded Church And State ministries in 2016, a nationwide movement equipping Christians to be public salt and light: redeeming the culture, discipling the debate and advocating for righteousness in government. From Zoomers to Baby Boomers, Dave is teaching Christians to confidently say what God says about debated issues.

CAS NOW MOBILISES YOUNG CHRISTIANS ACROSS AUSTRALIA

God called David Pellowe to teach Christians about pursuing righteous government in Australia after the 2016 federal election. He first launched a video show in 2017 and then annual Church and State (CAS) conferences in 2018. He said, everything lost momentum in 2020, but they never missed the annual CAS Summit and found a way through the “regulations”.

Since then, speaking invitations, demand, and audiences have increased significantly, and by the end of this year, he will have held close to a dozen events around Australia. What he has heard and witnessed cannot — must not — be ignored any longer. David Pellowe is Australia’s version of Charlie Kirk. Make sure you you get behind CAS NOW!

Nation First promotes the launch of CAS NOW! by David Pellowe 28th October 2025

God has been stirring Gen Z with a hunger for truth and political discipleship, far surpassing anything seen in previous generations.

  • After years of teaching and growing the Church And State movement, the need for consistent, youth-focused political discipleship has become urgent and undeniable.
  • CAS NOW!, which you can read about at CASNOW.au, is launching as a national movement to equip under-30s with resources, strategy, and bold leadership in the political and cultural battle for Australia.
  • The new movement will feature events, video modules, study guides, and local chapters to empower young Christians to influence politics and society with Gospel conviction.
  • Gen Z is not waiting for permission. They’re ready to lead now, challenging woke culture and restoring Christian values in public life through active engagement.

The last few years have shown them turning up in greater numbers. It’s nothing new or clever I did — it was God, and it was Gen Z themselves showing more interest in Truth and action, and more disdain and disillusionment with feminised churches and woke culture.

Alpha for Politics

This year, I can’t count the times I’ve been approached by teens and young adults after CAS conferences, just buzzing with inspiration and an insatiable appetite for more of God’s undiluted Truth about debated issues.

We need more of this.

Do you have resources I can share with my friends — they’d love this!

I’ve been to the excellent, one-off courses that are available, but once isn’t enough. I want ongoing discipleship about all these issues!

I want something like the Alpha course, but for Christian politics.

Pastors too, at the Preachers’ Roundtables I’ve been convening in Parliaments across Australia, hosted by grateful, pro-faith MPs and Senators, have asked what resources CAS has for the first-time voters in their church who come to them and ask, “Who do I vote forHow should I vote?”

And it takes no prophet to know that since Charlie Kirk was martyred on 10 September, the hunger in Gen Z has seen them taking themselves to church to hear God’s Truth about debated issues preached without apology or pussy-footing around the confronting, exclusive nature of it.

It’s time for CAS to double down on what we’ve been doing all along, and sharpen our focus on those first-time voters and others under 30 who are in a prime position to do what previous generations have neglected to do, and arrest the demolition of Christianity in this nation.

“Seeker-sensitive” Christianity may have been well intentioned, but it spectacularly failed over the past few decades to create much more than pew-warmers, if not false converts, by turning the Gospel into a product and congregations into a customer base that had to be appeased.

If someone leaves your church because the pulpit challenges them and makes them uncomfortable, they never wanted discipleship from you and have no understanding of the meaning of “Lord” or “Take up your cross and follow Me.” You’ve lost a waste of space, that’s all. Let them go to a church with better-than-average coffee and an Acknowledgment of Country or a rainbow flag.

Nationwide Movement

Next Saturday night, 8th November in Logan, Queensland, with a bunch of young, zealous Christian conservatives, I’m launching CAS NOW! — a national movement for the political discipleship, equipping and engagement of those under 30.

The following month, on 4-6 December, I will be launching in Newcastle, Illawarra, and Sydney as well, with evening rallies to fill the need in this nation and answer the generation crying out for “MORE!” authority and wisdom from God’s Word.

Anyone can attend, but under-30s get to go to the front of the line during the long Q&A after time for worship, inspiration, and an interview on a debated topic.

These events are high energy and fun, but the strength of the movement is the practical engagement strategies that it aims to provide Gen Z. Political Discipleship course video modules will grow rapidly, provided by scores of high-calibre Church And State conference speakers, complete with study guides, group discussion questions (and answers) for the hosts and facilitators.

Not only will these people be CAS NOW! movement members, but pastors, youth leaders, CAS NOW! church reps, micro churches, house churches, minor party organisers, homeschool communities, missions/evangelistic ministries, Christian schools, and anyone who’s in a position to disciple young people.

CAS NOW! will help them join political parties and empower mass membership of any political party to levels not seen since the Menzies era, creating an unignorable constituency of common sense that demands representation and holds bad government accountable.

No more will this generation sit idly by and wonder what happened to once-Christian Australia. They will actually be salt and light in the public square, preventing rot and decay, adding good flavour and repelling the darkness to illuminate Truth.

CAS NOW! will help communicate the excellent, strategic opportunities provided by many pro-family, pro-faith, pro-freedom, pro-life, pro-Australia lobbyist and activist organisations, which we’ve always championed and promoted at CAS conferences to be politically, culturally, and evangelistically effective in their local area.

CAS NOW! Chapters will continue the great work of the amazing Gen Z’ers in far-flung regions away from the cities to make Political Discipleship events successful right there in their hometowns.

The vision is enormous, but the mission is even bigger. Yet, God has been preparing us for this day, for this generation, to communicate and equip one simple message: “You’re not just the leaders of tomorrow — you’re the leaders NOW!

YOU can help inspire, educate, empower, and equip people aged 16-30 with Political Discipleship to become the leaders of today and take their place in the vacuum left by older generations in the national conversation. Spread the word; invite everyone to visit casNOW.au and join the movement or attend the launch events (open to all ages).

May God open the eyes of this generation to rebel like no other generation before them against woke uni’ professors, the Lying Media, and oppressive government.

TRUMP’S TRIBUTE TO CHARLIE KIRK

The number of people that attended Charlie’s Kirk tribute was amazing and there is no doubt that God is going to use Charlie’s martyrdom to bring many into His Kingdom.

This tribute of Charlie Kirk by Trump shows how close they were in life and the extent Charlie contributed to Trump’s election win.

This is an impressive off the cuff speech by Trump and has lifted my opinion of him significantly. Let me now what you think of it.

He described Charlie Kirk as a “great American hero” as tens of thousands gathered to remember the slain conservative activist at a Sunday memorial in Arizona that was both religious service and conservative political rally.

CHARLIE KIRK ON CRITICAL RACE THEORY

Critical Race Theory

Charlie Kirk’s organisation, which he co-founded, Turning Point USA, was well known for being deeply opposed to Critical Race Theory (CRT). This is one of the biggest false teachings facing Christians today, which Kirk and his crew have addressed head-on.

In short, Kirk believed that one’s race shouldn’t count for anything, but instead, what really matters is one’s character and actions. For an excellent five-minute summary of what this means, see the following video:

IMPACT CHARLIE KIRK HAD ON JORDAN PETERSON

I really enjoyed this video and am sure that God used it to impact Dr Jordan Peterson. Peterson engages in conversation with the recently assassinated Charlie Kirk—author, speaker, and founder and CEO of Turning Point USA. As the interview progresses you can see how the two men connect and enjoy one another’s company. They delve into Kirk’s emergence as a leading voice in the Conservative movement, his choice to bypass traditional higher education, and the early indicators of ideological bias in academia. The discussion also addresses how the university system has not only tilted toward the hyper-feminine but has transformed into a large-scale scam. Additionally, they examine academia’s departure from timeless questions of good and evil, faith, and foundational philosophy, to a focus on Marxist economics and cultural capture.

It will be interesting to see how Charlie Kirk’s assassination affects Jordan Peterson’s ministry. I believe it will be for the good of the Kingdom of God.

Charlie Kirk is the Founder and CEO of Turning Point USA, a non-profit organization dedicated to rallying, organizing, and empowering students to advocate for principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government. With a presence on more than 3,500 high school and college campuses in all 50 states, and supported by over 350 full-time staff members, Turning Point USA stands as the nation’s largest and fastest-growing conservative youth activist organization. In addition to Turning Point USA’s on-campus presence, it also operates a massive online outreach initiative that garners billions of video views annually and reaches millions of Americans every day with conservative, pro-America content. In addition to his role at Turning Point USA, Charlie also served as the CEO and founder of Turning Point Action, a related entity operating under a 501(c)(4) status. Turning Point Action’s mission is to embolden the conservative base through grassroots activism and to provide voters with the necessary resources to elect true conservative leaders. Turning Point Action has earned recognition as one of the leading grassroots forces in the country today. This episode was filmed on March, 19th, 2025.

THE CHARLIE KIRK EFFECT

Our church was packed today. Hundreds came to Christ through baptism after the service. The Charlie Effect. Praise God!

Charlie Kirk’s martyrdom has become a catalyst for revival, with countless thousands of people returning to church or attending for the first time the weekend after his assassination. Here are some of their incredible testimonies.

Charlie Kirk’s death has sparked a revival.

During the past several days, people have flooded the internet with post after post about returning to church — or attending for the first time.

Younger generations searching for truth in a world where they have been told there is none are restless and looking for answers. In the void created by the recession of Christianity, Charlie Kirk was convinced that the answer is to debate, dialogue and reason people back into a moral and conservative Christianity.

It’s expected that the US-based figure will have the largest impact within America. But Aussies also turned up to church for the first time as a result of the Kirk effect.

One Australian pastor wrote, “I had a bunch of people at church this morning who had never stepped foot in a church before. We already had a lot of that happening before this past month, but it seems to have grown since these successive cultural moments, and ultimately since Charlie was killed.”

One Aussie expressed, “I have this really strong urge to pick up a Bible… It’s a really strange feeling.”

It was inevitable that God would use Charlie Kirk’s martyrdom for His glory in amazing ways.

Erika Kirk pledged to continue and expand the work of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), the conservative organization Kirk founded. “It will become stronger, bolder, louder, and greater than ever.” Less than 24 hours after Erika’s address, TPUSA received 18,000 new chapter requests. Previously, the organization had operated just over 10,000 chapters across universities, colleges, and high schools. By Sunday night, the number of new TPUSA chapter requests had risen to 32,000.

CHARLIE KIRK’S ASSASINATION IS CLEAR EVIDENCE THAT THE BIBLICAL PROPHESIED END TIMES ARE UPON US

Charlie’s critics would have you believe he was “far-right”. Actually, he was nothing of the sort. Charlie Kirk was a vanilla conservative. He believed in God, the right to life, traditional marriage, merit over race, secure borders, and small government.

Charlie Kirk

Charlie Kirk assassinated at Utah Valley University

He was also a passionate defender of free speech and open debate. It was this conviction that prompted him to found Turning Point USA (TPUSA) — a multimillion dollar non-profit credited with winning hundreds of thousands of young and restless college students to commonsense conservatism. Indeed, TPUSA played a pivotal role in flipping the youth vote red in 2024, where support among 18-29-year-olds swung 21 points, helping Trump take back the White House.

Charlie Kirk loved debate because he hated violence. He believed America’s deep cultural and spiritual problems could be resolved by giving a hearing to even the worst ideas and persuading people with the truth.

In a video that’s gone viral since his death, he explains that he toured American colleges persuading young people because “when people stop talking, that’s when you get violence, that’s when civil war happens”.

A student who witnessed Charlie Kirk’s assassination reported that a group of his opponents in the crowd cheered when he was shot.

Talking heads in the legacy media indulged in ritual victim-blaming, suggesting that Charlie had invited his own demise by the views he expressed.

BlueSky, a platform widely billed as the left’s compassionate alternative to X, was reportedly a hotbed of hate this week — Daily Wire journalist Megan Basham said that upon searching for Charlie Kirk’s name, every single post “was either laughing at, sneering at, or suggesting there was something ironic in his death”.

This report from a republican in parliament shows the extent of the spiritual battle that is being waged: One of the most disgusting and evil things that I’ve ever seen. Just before we learned Charlie had passed, we tried to lead a prayer on the House floor – praying for his recovery after he was tragically shot. The Democrats started booing and yelling at us. It was absolutely disgusting. Their rhetoric caused this, and their actions today show they have no remorse!!!

Transgender and “antifascist” ideology was engraved on the ammunition found inside the rifle likely used in the murder, according to the Wall Street Journal, though the killer remains at large. It may be some time before we learn more about the assassin’s motive, but even when those answers come, they’ll only form part of the picture. Charlie Kirk’s murder did not take place in a vacuum.

Conservatives have been dehumanised in elite circles for decades. “They get bitter and cling to guns or religion,” Barack Obama scoffed in 2008. During her 2016 White House run, Hillary Clinton derided Trump’s base as a “basket of deplorables… racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it”. Joe Biden, on the campaign trail in 2018, called them “the dregs of society”.

From there, the rhetoric only escalated. During Biden’s infamous Red Speech in 2022, he declared “MAGA Republicans” — of whom Charlie Kirk was undeniably a figurehead — a “threat to democracy” and to “the very foundations of our republic”. By this time, an entire genre of bloodthirsty discourse was flooding the internet.

Yes, anyone can find examples of untempered speech on both sides of politics, but the uncomfortable truth for US Democrats is that it’s coming not from their fringes but their frontlines. Donors, celebrities, congressmen, media pundits and more queued up to call Trump a Nazi, a fascist, and Hitler reincarnate right up to the moment an assassin almost felled him in the fields of Butler, Pennsylvania. And after a brief pause of national reflection, they resumed the name-calling in earnest.

It was Charlie Kirk himself who, in April of this year, pointed out that “assassination culture is spreading on the left”.

“Forty-eight percent of liberals say it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk,” he explained in a now-eerie post on X, citing alarming research reported by Fox News. “Fifty-five percent said the same about Donald Trump.” Charlie continued:

The left is being whipped into a violent frenzy. Any setback, whether losing an election or losing a court case, justifies a maximally violent response. This is the natural outgrowth of left-wing protest culture tolerating violence and mayhem for years on end.

Christians need to be aware that we are in the Biblical prophesied end times before Jesus returns. Persecution/Tribulation will increase exactly as Jesus predicted in His Olivet discourse. Sadly, a great falling away in the church is also prophesied and this is happening with much of the denominational church compromising with the world’s unbiblical values such as homosexuality, including homosexual marriage.

Charlie Kirk understood the price he might have to pay standing up for the truth in the public square. May we have the courage to do the same.

HAS SOUTH PARK BECOME PRO-LIFE?

You know we’re living in the last days when comedic parody has become conservative prophecy. The most recent example is South Park’s satirical portrayal of the Christian political commentator, Charlie Kirk (represented by the character ‘Cartman’), where he outlines the logical and legal inconsistency of the abortion lobby in less than ten seconds:

South Park is definitely no friend of Christianity, but it’s impossible to argue with the logic of what Cartman’s character is saying. Even if it is meant to poke fun at him and isn’t meant to be taken seriously.

Life begins at conception, and we all scientifically know that it does. Because whenever one experiences the unintended loss of their unborn child through either accident or illness, there is a sense of enormous grief and loss.

If the folks at South Park are anything to go by, then the cultural tide is turning yet again. And we can truly thank God that the Democrats didn’t win the recent US election.

The writers of South Park seem to understand the issue, and hopefully, it’s only a matter of time before everyone else in society does as well. As the apostle Peter writes:

For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall,  but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you
.1 Peter 1:23-25
