LIVING ETERNAL NOW – LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Bible clearly says we are to be “led by the Spirit”. It means being led by our recreated (born again) human spirit. Our spirit is in essence: conscience, intuition and in communion with the Holy Spirit that indwells our spirit.

This is what the Bible means when it says “you are the temple of the Holy Spirit” and “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

We are made in God’s image and likeness so it is no coincidence we have a triune nature: Spirit, Soul and Body.

With our spirit we are in contact with the realm of God.

With our soul (will, mind, and emotions) we contact the realm of men.

With our five physical senses we contact the realm of earth.

We need to be like Jesus when He was on earth and say all of the time, “Holy Spirit, not my will but your will be done”. Sadly, so often after we err, we say, “something was telling me not to do that”. That something was the Holy Spirit speaking to our spirit.

We all have a conscience but in born again believers the conscience is in communion with the Holy Spirit, therefore it should be guided by the Holy Spirit. This is why the Bible warns; those who violate conscience end up shipwrecking their faith.

If, we allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct our Spirit and therefore our soul (will, mind and emotions) then the fruit of the spirit will be evident in our lives: love, joy, peace, faithfulness, gentleness, goodness, kindness, patience and self-control.  Also, some of the nine gifts of the spirit will flow and we will truly start to bring His Kingdom to earth as it is in heaven.

THE POWER IN A NAME

NO OTHER NAME HAS THE POWER OF JESUS NAME.

No other name can raise the dead, strengthen the living, save the lost, defeat the demons, delight the angels, and bear us through perilous times. Only Christ could offer Himself as a righteous sacrifice for sin and shed His blood as an everlasting atonement. If we reject Christ, we are rejecting the only possible means by which we can receive forgiveness and salvation.

Of all the names on earth today, one name is more powerful than any other. Christians know it has the power to change lives, save lost souls, heal sick bodies, and secure eternity. It is the name of our beloved Saviour, Jesus.

Daily prayer as we meditate on HIS WORD develops our relationship with GOD and our ability to hear HIS voice. Jesus said my sheep hear my voice, not can or should hear my voice. They do hear HIS voice.

I first started this website (blog) in December 2012 and now have 173 posts up on the site. When I had put up post 150, God told me, it was time to reach a broader audience with HIS message that JESUS sacrificial death has provided the way back into a relationship with the Father and moved us from death to life – eternal life. One of the good things about eBooks is the ability to continually update them. The last chapter in the  book is Discerning the Times (like the men of Issachar who understood the times and knew what Israel should do). WHAT GOD IS DOING WITH THE GATHERINGS

Unlike a conference with pre-determined speakers and pre-set teachings, in a Gathering believers answer a call from the Lord to come together to worship and wait on Him. These Gatherings (Gathering in His Presence) happen and  people come from all over because they feel led to attend. Perhaps the biggest component is the presence of God. It’s like Moses who said, “Lord, if You don’t go with us, then I don’t want to go” (Exod. 33:15, paraphrased). So, we gather because we feel led to. We worship and bless the Lord and then watch and obey as He leads.

For me, this walking together with others in the Gatherings began after the March 2011 Tsunami in Japan. One of the first things the Lord told me was to attend the Gathering/Homecoming in Hong Kong that July. Teddy and I attended, and I got the understanding that somehow He would use the Gathering to bring breakthrough in Japan.

This year, the Lord called us to have three large Gatherings. The first was at Kobe, Japan, in May. The theme the Lord gave us was that He was opening the gates (Ps. 24), and that these were gates of harvest—not just in Japan, but in every nation.

The second was in Hong Kong in July, and the theme was alignment. The scripture the Lord gave was Exodus 12:41. When God brought Israel out of Egypt, He brought them out as the “armies of the Lord.” They were aligned and organized. The Lord has been preparing the nations, and now they are aligned. Because of this, there is great authority for the advance of the kingdom of God.

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isa. 43:18–19).

This time in Munich, the key verse was Isaiah 43:18–19, and the theme was how He is doing a new thing. He is releasing His water of blessing for the kingdom of God to spread throughout the earth. Not just rains from heaven—and thus rivers flowing—but also water springing up from the deep. It’s like tectonic plates under the earth are shifting and the underground and ancient water is coming up. Furthermore, the wells of salvation (Isa. 12:3) from earlier generations are also being reopened. It was no mistake that God had us meet in Germany, the land from which the first Reformation came. It was also prophesied that the wells of the Moravians (the group that began to take the gospel from Europe to almost every nation) are now being opened again. Those wells are being reopened, as are older wells—even those going all the way back to the early church are opening up.

There were many specific things that happened, some of which are as follows:

  • Israeli believers forgave Germany and blessed them. These two “father nations” are now arising to bless other countries.
  • As a prophetic act, Jewish believers blessed the Arab believers, knowing that Israel must first bless them (Ishmael came first [Gen. 16–17]) in order for themselves to be blessed.
  • This blessing will result in a great breaking off of the orphan spirit that hinders so many believers worldwide. On Tuesday afternoon, the Lord showed us that it was time for the spirit of fatherlessness to be removed and that He was doing it. (Note: Feeling of fatherlessness and the orphan spirit often come about because of antisemitism. Thus, part of the solution has been the healing for Israel to now be able to forgive and to bless others.)
  • There is a new fire of God being released in His people and giving birth to a youth movement in every nation.

The main point is that God has brought us to a new place and time, and that He is doing a new thing. He doesn’t want us to focus on old things, but know that He is releasing vast wells of salvation. He wants us to know and see it.

Several representatives of Watchmen for the Nations who organize the Gatherings, visited Australia in July, 2015  (Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne). A tentative time, place and name for a Gathering has been prayerfully submitted to Watchmen for the Nations. Please pray, God will show Watchmen for the Nations, His will in this matter.

When people have a personal encounter with our Lord, true repentance and revival take place. These people know they have eternal life and are able to boldly proclaim their faith even in the face of persecution and death.

As prophesied “last days” events are unfolding quickly. It is like we are in ‘fast forward’. The War Room movie is a reminder for us all, both personally and the church, to seek the Lord passionately in prayer, to know the times and our role to bring His Kingdom rule in our community.

 

Ben Carson Calls America’s Relationship With Faith ‘Schizophrenia’.

GOP Presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson vowed to wage a war on what he called “Politically Correct (P.C.) police” before the Free Chapel megachurch in Gainesville, Georgia, on Sunday morning. He also described America’s relationship with faith as “schizophrenia,” noting that faith-positive messages are displayed on U.S. currency, yet there is an aversion to talk about religion.

“The pledge of allegiance to our flag says we are one nation under God. Many courtrooms in the land, on the wall it says ‘In God We Trust.’ Every coin in our pocket, every bill in our wallet says ‘In God We Trust,’” Carson told the thousands who came to listen to his speech at the megachurch, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Carson took time to sign copies of his book, A More Perfect Union, and said that people have been asking him why he is entering the political fray after a successful career as a neurosurgeon.

“Well, I’ll tell you why: it’s because America is worth saving. If that means getting into a war with the PC police, I’m ready to fight that war. And I hope you will join me,” the GOP candidate said.

The retired neurosurgeon attracted controversy last week for comments he made about the Oregon shooting massacre, when he suggested he would have done more than the other students, had he been at the scene of the crime.

“I would not just stand there and let him shoot me,” Carson said on “Fox & Friends,” talking about the Umpqua Community College rampage that led to the deaths of 10 people.

“I would say, ‘Hey, guys, everybody attack him. He may shoot me, but he can’t get us all.'”

Only a man, with faith in God’s promise of eternal life, would confidently make such a comment.

 

 

The Abundant Life God Promises

No doubt, you have heard, as I have, messages from prominent preachers promising you health, wealth and happiness through coming to Jesus. There are verses in the 66 books of the Bible that support this premise but there is plenty of evidence in the scriptures and lives of Christians including the Apostles, that present a very different view.

“They were stoned, they were sawn into two, they were killed with the sword…..destitute, afflicted, mistreated” Hebrews 11:37

There is happiness that comes from the abundant life God promises to the believer (John 10:10). Moreover the Gospel has transformed societies and even nations with amazing benefits. Peace and joy does come from the indwelling Holy Spirit that assures us our sins are forgiven, FOREVER and as our relationship  with God deepens our lives are transformed into the likeness of Jesus.

In a real sense, the benefits are a side effect of the Gospel. They are an adjunct to the main game, which is all about God and the eternal relationship He desires with us.

We trust God and His Word and look forward to the promised New Heaven and New Earth. In the meantime we get on with accomplishing His plan and purpose for our lives.

You have a FATHER who loves you perfectly. Do you know HIM?

Expelled from the Garden of Eden

Adam and Eve expelled

Adam walked and talked face to face with his FATHER in the garden of Eden. Adam knew GOD as HE knew Adam – there was no separation. Adam knew his value and the proof of that value was his assignment to be like HIM, to partner with HIM having dominion over all of HIS creation.

GOD’S enemy, Satan (the father of lies) knew the FATHER’S one desire is for HIS children to know HIM. The battle has always been over intimacy in its purest form, between the ONE who is love and the ones who were created to receive HIS love. This battle had its front lines in the garden of Eden. One bite of the supernatural fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil set into motion questions that would emanate from every human from Adam and Eve forward: “Is HE good or is HE evil?” and “Can HE be trusted?” Doubt was inspired by the mind of reason that had limited perspective based on a lie.

Generations later the battle continues to rage as GOD’S children wonder if they are loved and valued. We, the sons and daughters of GOD who couldn’t be more loved or valued, live as orphans with rejection complexes that cause us to look at every circumstance as proof of whether our FATHER loves us rather than going straight to HIM to experience HIS love for ourselves.

“In this the love of GOD was manifested toward us, that GOD has sent HIS only begotten SON into the world that we might live through HIM.” 1 John 4:9

The world lives as if GOD does not exist and if HE does, HE really watches from a distance to see how we’ll do without HIM.

Nothing could be further from the truth but you won’t know that GOD can be known and experienced until you dare to believe that HE wants to be known. You can gain access to all of HIS supernatural solutions to your problems.

Intimacy is a choice. It requires time and desire. Intimacy with the FATHER produces the knowledge of GOD, in which you know that HE is good and can be trusted. The choice is yours, start living eternal now.

DEFEND THE BIBLE – GO ON THE OFFENSIVE

There is now so much evidence which proves the Bible is trustworthy that Christians properly equipped can go on the offensive rather than go on the defensive as so many do when challenged as to the veracity of Scripture’s claims.

The many fulfilled Bible prophesies, such as Isaiah’s prophesy that a Persian king would arise with the name Cyrus – around 150 years before the event occurred. Three hundred prophesies in the Old Testament (OT) of the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus that all occurred exactly as prophesied.

In the field of archaeology, the Bible has been confirmed accurate by numerous archaeological discoveries. The Hittites were presumed to be a mythical tribe because no physical evidence had been found. That was until a huge ‘City of the Hittites was uncovered.  The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls as late as 1947 with an almost complete copy of Isaiah in which there are so many of the prophesies of Jesus life, death by crucifixion and resurrection. As a result, the Bible is regarded as “the most accurate history book in the world”(The Archaeology of the New Testament by E.M.Blaiklock). Considering this fact alone, one can logically assume that its other historical claims in Genesis such as a real Adam and Eve and a global Flood are also true.

In the New Testament (NT), scholars used to be skeptical about John’s description of the Pool of Siloam in Jerusalem, but archaeology showed that John’s description was accurate (which also proved that the gospel of John was authored by someone who had been in Jerusalem before the AD 70 destruction, which fits very well with the Apostle John being the author). John and all the NT authors – and even Jesus himself – believed and quoted from Genesis more than any other book in the Bible.

It is in the area of Genesis Creation where the rubber really hits the road, and where Creation Ministries has truly shone with evidence that recent discoveries particularly on DNA (Information Theory) and the function of cells have demonstrated the futility of evolution with its proposed mechanisms of natural selection and mutation. On their website http://www.creation.com there are almost 8,500 fully searchable articles you can access to equip you with answers to provide real seekers of the truth about God and Creation.

The Bible is trustworthy, including its claims about sin and salvation. Jesus is who he said He is. He is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus believed Genesis was true history then I suggest so should we.
