I take every opportunity to listen to him. He has written books that will expand your Biblical knowledge and faith. He was a professor at Oxford and Green Templeton College (now retired) where he specialized in group theory. Lennox appeared in numerous debates with questions ranging from “Is God Good” to “Is There a God,” and faced off with academic titans such as Richard Dawkins, Michael Shermer, and Christopher Hitchens, among others. Lennox speaks four languages – English, German, French, and Russian, has written 70 peer-reviewed articles on mathematics, co-authored two Oxford Mathematical Monographs, and was noted for his role in translating Russian mathematics while working as a professor. I have also enjoyed listening to Jordan Peterson and seeing the positive impact he has had on male university students and watching his coming to faith after both his daughter and wife came to faith.

USING GROK 4 TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ON DINOSAURS AND RADIOMETRIC DATING
Calvin Smith of Answers in Genesis , Canada uses strict math, logic, and science to show Grok (Elon Musk’s AI) that dinosaurs lived at the same time as humans — Grok 4 admitted it. But then it defaulted right back to the evolutionary story… Why, because that is what is taught by our schools and universities that teach evolution as fact when in fact it is a heavily flawed theory. When asked the right questions it was impressive in delivering the right answers.
Note that this interaction with Grok 4 is intended to be for educational purposes only. Although Grok 4 has been touted by its founder Elon Musk as the most sophisticated AI currently on the planet (with better comprehension than most PhDs in all fields simultaneously), Answers in Genesis (AIG) is not claiming Grok 4 will always provide accurate information or represent current scientific arguments as human experts perhaps would. For specific, current information in any area, AIG suggest you look up peer reviewed articles from reputable journals. However, AIG welcomes people apply the same parameters (strict logic, mathematical probability and observational science) and ask Grok 4 the same questions they have to see the results for themselves, understanding that Grok 4 pulls data from a wide range of sources and can make accurate conclusions based on current scientific data in many circumstances. KEEPING THE FAITH BUT FAITH IN WHAT?
Columbia University professor ( an adjunct professor in the Writing Program at School of the Arts) Brenda Wineapple’s goal in writing Keeping the Faith (faith in evolution) appears to be to present William Jennings Bryan (and creationists in general) in the worst possible light. Consistent with this, she also strives to present evolutionists (in this case, the atheist/agnostic Clarence Darrow in the best possible light. The author succeeds marvellously in achieving both. The author undertook an enormous amount of research, as evidenced by the 58 pages of references in her bibliography section. Sadly, her book is also widely successful, being rated number nine in its category on Amazon and earning 386 ratings, 92% of which are very positive and 22 reviews as at 14 July 2025. On Goodreads, the book has 710 ratings, 85% of which are very positive and 120 reviews as at 14 July 2025. It is in 721 libraries.
With so many people in the USA wedded to evolution including many who believe they are Christians, and the fact we are in the Biblical prophesied last days before Jesus returns when persecution of Christians escalates a Christian revival is unlikely. However, there is no doubt that God has given the USA a reprieve with the election of Donald Trump and the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk has seen a significant turning to God by university students and Gen Z.
Wineapple has cherry-picked thousands of pages to present William Jennings Bryan as a white supremacist—a position Bryan openly condemned in writing. She mentions Bryan in conjunction with the KKK fully 39 times, such as the claim that “Bryan from the pulpit preaches the domination of Christ; in politics, he practices Ku Kluxism and white domination, the bulwarks of which are lynching, murder, rape, arson, theft, and concubinage.” As one reviewer of Keeping the Faith stated: “Bryan gets a lot more attention [than Darrow] and it is mostly to denigrate him as a racist Christian fundamentalist … . She spends way too much time on the Ku Klux Klan when they do not figure at all in the Scopes Trial. They seem to be in the book because [she claimed] they align significantly with Bryan’s views, but Bryan was not in the KKK … . In fact, Bryan’s beliefs were over half a century ahead of the civil rights movement. In the magazine he edited, The Commoner, Bryan frequently wrote about his strong support for black civil rights. None of Bryan’s support for civil rights for blacks made it into Wineapple’s book!
Neither does she ever mention that all of the evidence the scientists submitted in support of evolution (which was included in the transcript of the trial) has been fully refuted. Piltdown Man has been exposed as a forgery. Java Man consisted of only a skull cap, a portion of femur and two teeth, not all of them closely associated with each other. The femur portion is indistinguishable from that of a gracile (‘modern’) human, or a robust human such as Homo erectus. The skull cap was more than once thought to be that of an extinct ape, but is now generally acknowledged to be that of a robust human, i.e., H. erectus, consistent with the teeth found.
ronically, Wineapple acknowledges that evolution is based on instances of damage to the DNA code, called ‘mutations’. Evolution teaches that humans are the result of billions of such genetic mistakes. However, most mutations are either deleterious or near-neutral. They do not add viable information, which is what evolution requires. Instead, many of those mutations that are not repaired (99.9% are repaired) cause diseases, including cancer. They do not take you from GOO to YOU.
Much information regarding the supreme value of academic freedom is covered by Wineapple, but she ignores the fact that, as a result of the Scopes Trial and its progenitive precedents, the American courts have ruled that it is illegal to present information against the evolutionary worldview and in favour of the creation worldview. Consequently, only information in favour of the evolutionary worldview and against the creation worldview can be taught without risking termination. This is not education, but indoctrination. Wineapple’s book serves to strongly support this one-sided brainwashing, which will significantly worsen the situation concerning the importance of academic freedom.
HOW DOES EVOLUTION MAKE “YOU FROM GOO”?
C.S. Lewis once put it, “Men became scientific because they expected Law in Nature, and they expected Law in Nature because they believed in a Legislator.” Christianity is a science-starter. God made us in His image to create as He creates.
The creation/evolution debate has continued unabated for a century. The US and, indeed, the world remain highly divided on the question of origins. The good news is that latest scientific discoveries like the electron microscope that revealed in even the simplest cells complex machinery and transport devices and then the discovery of DNA which is complex information that controls the complex machinery and transport devices in every cell. There is no way this could have evolved and the only source of complex information is intelligence of the highest order. The God who exists outside of the complex universe He created.
There is no mechanism to explain evolution, from “GOO to YOU”. Darwin’s natural selection won’t do it. It only selects from what is already there. The only other proposed mechanism – mutations, also won’t do it. Mutation loses information it does not add information. Moreover order does not come from chaos. God exists and even more important He loves us.

DNA is supposedly millions of years old, but can it really survive that long? The evidence suggests otherwise. From genetic entropy showing species can’t survive endless mutations, to ancient DNA breaking down too quickly in the ground, to mitochondrial Eve and Y-chromosome Adam pointing to recent common ancestors — multiple lines of evidence challenge evolutionary timescales. DNA barcoding reveals another puzzle: species across the animal kingdom appear to be roughly the same age, as if some major event reset life on Earth.
WHY EVOLUTION CAN’T WORK
The giant tortoise, the bowhead whale, and the Greenland shark are three of the longest-lived vertebrates. As we will see, the facts about them make the evolutionary narrative even harder for materialists to justify.
The oldest living tortoise in the world, called Jonathan, is believed to have hatched from an egg in 1832, though that is only an estimate. That makes him about 193 years old (in 2025), and he is thought to be the oldest living land animal.
What does such longevity mean for belief in the evolution narrative? If animals are able to sow their genetic information into the gene pool over hundreds of years, with lengthened generations, then it would only increase the difficulty for evolution to occur. Famous evolutionary biologist J.B.S. Haldane (1892–1964) pointed out that larger, slow-breeding vertebrates, such as cattle, cannot hope to pay the cost of neo-Darwinian evolution through random mutations and natural selection.
The cost (i.e., of substituting a gene) may be stated as follows. Consider a breeding population in which a supposedly beneficial mutation arises. For that mutated gene to spread to become dominant in the population, a large number of individuals without that mutation must first die (in that and succeeding generations) without leaving offspring. Haldane’s ‘working number’ for these deaths was 30 times the population size.
Four factors that can lower the number of such deaths are higher selection pressures, higher mutation rates, faster population turnover, and smaller populations. Haldane cited a theoretical low of around 10–20 times the population size. But he said it could be higher than the 30 he used in his calculations, in rare circumstances, even as high as 100. Nonetheless, 30 is generally taken as a reasonable estimate for most situations.
This theoretical cost is grossly unrealistic; for a population of only 1,000 animals, it would mean 30,000 nonreproductive deaths must first happen over time. This is an unacceptable cost for the species to bear. And for larger populations, the number of such deaths would be higher still. This long-recognized problem is known as Haldane’s Dilemma. And there is no solution in sight.
There is also another issue to consider, called Peto’s Paradox. Large vertebrates have many more cells than small animals, which suggests a higher risk of mutations in body cells (called somatic mutations, which are not inherited). Also, the longer a creature lives, the higher the chance of the DNA in an individual cell mutating. Such mutations can lead to cancer and early death. So, the larger, longer-lived vertebrates should have a greater risk of cancer.
But the evidence is the reverse; it would seem they actually have a lower risk of cancer, perhaps due to one or more effective DNA repair mechanisms. The presence of cell repair mechanisms is actually evidence of design, not evolution. Slow-breeding animals such as the bowhead whale are evidently not dying young through disease, further reinforcing the dilemma that Haldane highlighted.
Another problem is why natural selection (i.e., differential reproduction) over millions of hypothetical years would ever cause such longevity to evolve. There is no reproductive advantage, as evolution requires, for a mutation that keeps a creature alive long after it has stopped reproducing.
TRANSHUMANISM IS AN END TIMES SIGN
Time Magazine, in December of 1997, reported on Dr. Richard Seed, a physicist from Chicago who became well known for his announcement of plans to start human cloning. He declared: God intended for man to become one with God. We are going to have to have almost as much knowledge and as much power as God. Cloning and the reprogramming of DNA are the first serious steps in becoming one with God (National Public Radio). Seed’s words are not intended in any Biblical sense but to declare that we too will become as God – that we can be our own Gods. A week later, Seed elaborated in an interview on CNN, “Man will develop the technology and the science and the capability to have an indefinite lifespan. Eleven years later, he would make an even more radical statement; whereas his first statement was that we would become like God, his later statement was to become a God. ” We are going to become God’s, period. If you do not like it, get off. You do not have to contribute, you do not have to participate, but if you are going to interfere with me becoming a God, you are going to have trouble. There will be warfare. Seed’s words are not just isolated, radical ideas but part of the much larger and well-funded movement known as transhumanism (or posthumanism). While probably most in it would not proclaim that they want to become gods, the goal is the same. They are playing with the human source code in ways that are extremely dangerous. Biblical transhumanist researcher Dr John P. McTernan states, “Evolution detaches man from his creator and being created in God’s image and likeness. Man is now a free agent to tamper with his DNA under the guise of advancing evolution. Man sees himself as the captain of his own destiny. He is going to overcome death, disease, and human limitations. The only problem with this is that man is not the captain of his destiny. God is in control, and Biblical prophecy gives us the end of the story. God has given us 2000 prophecies of Jesus’ return and His coming Millennial Kingdom, and we may already be living in the last seven years before He returns.
SOCIETIES BUILT ON THE PREMISE THAT LIFE IS AN ACCIDENT
Extreme cruelty, gross injustice, and disregard for the life of individuals characterise regimes that believe life is an accident. Examples include Hitler’s National Socialism, Stalin’s Soviet Socialism, and their nauseatingly numerous socialist offspring. Many socialists mistakenly believe that science can show that life evolved by accident.
Sadly, universities and schools teach our children that evolution is fact and that this cosmos came about by a Big Bang and random chance evolution. As a result, lavishly funded TV spectaculars portray the evolution of life as “scientific”, but it is not. It cannot be subjected to the scientific method as its assumed processes are not observable. Darwin insisted his theory could not explain the origin of life but claimed it did explain the lesser problem of how species could have become increasingly complex. Since Darwin’s time, however, the expected mass of transitions to more and more complex species has been absent from the fossil record. More importantly, Dr Michael Behe recently discovered organelles driving the flagellum of a bacterium that meet Darwin’s own criteria for falsifying his theory. Mainstream media has hardly mentioned this, and the educational establishment has ignored it because they will not consider the supernatural. Regardless of the evidence, if it is not natural/materialistic, it is not science.
Fake news also disparages those who accept the scientific evidence for intelligent design of life. Yet they include science luminary Sir Fred Hoyle and Dr Paul Davies who discovered the fine tuning of the universe, renowned microbiologist Dr Dean Kenyon who renounced his celebrated evolutionary work “Biochemical Predestination” to accept intelligent design, Dr Michael Behe who wrote the landmark work “Darwin’s Black Box”, notorious Oxford Professor Anthony Flew who renounced atheism in his book “There is a God”, the brilliant Oxford mathematician Professor John Lennox, mathematician Dr William Dembski who authored “The Design Inference”, and information scientists Dr Lee Spetner and Dr Michael Hasofar who were the first to publish quantified evidence against evolution of species in the world’s leading peer-reviewed “Journal of Theoretical Biology”.
Evolution has been our enemy, Satan’s best strategy, but he realises that its time is over, and he already has his final strategy in place: Aliens. Richard Dawkins, one of the atheists’ most celebrated authors, when argued into a corner on intelligent design, blurted out, “Well, if it’s intelligent design, it must have come from outer space.” Demons are already representing themselves to gullible people as aliens, as good guys, come to save us. These stories are coming to us from people who have experience with UFOs. According to an ABC News poll conducted in 2000, “nearly half of all Americans and millions more globally believe we’re not alone […] 40 million Americans say they have seen or know someone who has seen an unidentified flying object, or UFO,
Look at the many movies and games that feature aliens. Young people are being set up to embrace demons when they manifest as good aliens.
In Gary Bates’s book on Aliens, he provides evidence that these creatures posing as aliens are, in fact, demons. Whenever a person commanded them to go in the name of Jesus, they immediately departed.

KNOWING GOD IS IN CONTROL
“I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose. Isaiah 46:10
Sometimes, we need the reminder that God knows the future and can do what is humanly impossible. He knows what is eternally best in ways we cannot. God can see ultimate purposes and plans that we can’t. We also need to understand that God is in control.
Countries where the people once honoured God, recognising that “God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself” 2 Corinthians 5:19, experienced unprecedented security and prosperity. These same countries today are crumbling as people turn their backs on God. ” Righteousness lifts up a nation, but sin is a shame to any people.” Proverbs 14:34.
As nations turn their backs on God, living as if He does not exist, sin abounds; political corruption, lying, slander, public displays of debauchery, violent crime, abortion, theft, adultery, drug taking, drunkenness, gambling, and greed of all kinds. Economic woes follow as taxes increase and governments borrow money to pay for bigger police forces, gaols, and social security systems to fix the problems. Underpinning this abandonment of faith in God is the widespread acceptance of evolutionary thinking – that everything made itself by natural processes and that God is not necessary. The complex design we see in the world designed itself. God says they are without excuse if they ignore the obvious.
“For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” Romans 1:19-20
Sadly, such thinking abounds in universities and governments today. As a result, some of the greatest evil ever seen perpetrated was by those who adopted an evolutionary approach to morality: Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Pol Pot. Many millions have suffered terribly and lost their lives because of this atheistic way of thinking. Atheism kills because, without God, there are no rules – anything goes. Atheists are at the forefront of efforts to legitimise abortion, euthanasia, drug taking, prostitution, pornography, and promiscuity. All these things cause misery, suffering, and death. Atheism is the philosophy of death, and it comes from the great deceiver, Satan, who is intent on our destruction.
The Bible reveals that God knew this would happen and that before Jesus returns to restore righteousness, His followers will be persecuted for His namesake.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:9-14

WHY MOST PEOPLE WILL FACE THE SOON COMING WRATH OF GOD
A new survey has found that more than half of Americans do not believe God exists or that He “affects lives,” prompting one prominent researcher to highlight the need for “sweeping national repentance and spiritual renewal.”
The Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University released the second installment of its American Worldview Inventory 2025 on Wednesday.
The research found that overall, 60% of Americans do not believe God exists or that He “affects lives.” Nearly half of self-identified Christians (47%) and a slightly smaller share of theologically identified born-again Christians (40%) said the same.
The Bible begins with the statement. ” In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth“. Genesis 1:1. God’s existence is assumed, self-evident. In Psalm 14:1 we are told, “The fool has said in his heart, There is no God! They acted corruptly; they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.” Here we see that the Bible connects corrupt thoughts about God – especially about denying His very existence – with corrupt morals. And it is true that if there is no God, no Creator who sets the rules, then we are set adrift morally.
So few believe God exists because of the promotion of evolution. A Creator is not necessary. This is why God has raised Creation Ministries International (http://www.creation.com) and Answers in Genesis (http://www.answersingenesis.org), two of the main ministries God has raised up to defend the Bible as inerrant and its history accurate.
Among Americans who believe that God exists and “affects lives,” a plurality (38%) defined God as the “most important element” in their lives, while 23% described God as “extremely important” in their lives, and 18% characterized God as having a “very important” influence on their lives.
Fourteen percent of respondents who believe in God agreed that He was “somewhat important” in their lives, while 5% considered God either “not too” important or “not at all” important. The remaining 3% placed their views on God’s influence in their lives into the category of “it varies.”
Just 20% of “those who believe the God of the Bible exists and affects lives” told pollsters they had “an intimate and interactive spiritual relationship with Him, with constant two-way communication.” Another 45% classified their relationship with God as “close,” defined by frequent prayer and trust in Him to “do what is best and right.”
Eleven percent of those surveyed identified their relationship with God as “arms-length,” while 18% said, “He exists and is capable of all things, but do not have a personal, interactive ‘relationship’ with Him.”
The remaining 7% of respondents remained uncertain whether or not He interacts with people and did not “know how to describe their relationship with Him.” One-third (33%) of “those who believe the God of the Bible exists and affects lives” defined God as having a “total” influence over their lives and choices, while another third (33%) reported that He had “a lot” of influence on their lives, which “often” reflected His guidance.
This is undoubtedly the reason Jesus tells us that just before He returns, many will fall away when tribulation comes.
