While accusations persist that Israel is deliberately starving Gaza as part of a genocidal strategy, the evidence overwhelmingly shows otherwise. Hamas have repeatedly attacked GHF distribution as they lose control and political power.
Hamas’s role in exacerbating suffering cannot be ignored. Multiple reports document the group’s systematic diversion of aid for military purposes, including reselling supplies on black markets to fund terrorism—estimated to have netted Hamas nearly $1 billion since the war began.

Hamas Attacks Bus of Palestinian Aid Workers Distributing Food in Gaza. Palestinians are killing Palestinians. On Wednesday night, Hamas terrorists attacked a bus of Palestinian aid workers on their way to an aid distribution centre of the U.S.-sponsored Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). The attack demonstrates the terror group’s increasing desperation over the U.S.-Israeli aid distribution campaign that has rocked its hold on power to the core.
At approximately 10 p.m. local time, the bus filled with GHF staff was travelling to the aid distribution centre west of Khan Yunis when Hamas operatives ambushed the bus, strafing its sides with gunfire. “We are still gathering facts, but what we know is devastating: there are at least five fatalities, multiple injuries, and fear that some of our team members may have been taken hostage,” said GHF in a statement Wednesday.
Thousands of Palestinians have taken to the streets to protest against Hamas in Gaza for a second day, after hundreds protested on Wednesday (AEDT), in a sign of deepening angst at the militant group as frustrations over the destruction of their homes and lives boil over into the open.
The anti-Hamas demonstrations also expose the folly of Western activists, who staged pro-Hamas demonstrations in the name of these same Palestinians.
“Out, out, Hamas out,” crowds shouted in the Shujaiya neighbourhood of Gaza City, echoing chants from Tuesday’s protests, according to a video verified by Storyful.
Some Palestinians appeared defiant in the face of a possible crackdown by Hamas, which has controlled the enclave of about two million people with a firm grip and is unlikely to accept widespread dissent. Hamas tried to suppress Tuesday’s protests, but at least one of its fighters was beaten by the crowd, said Abu Tamer, a resident of Beit Lahiya, the epicentre of Tuesday’s protests in the northern Gaza Strip.
“Hamas did not prevent the protests because they completely disappeared from the streets. They cannot stand up to the population who are against them,” Abu Tamer said.
An Israeli official told local media that fact the protests had expanded on the second day was “an indication that there is a shift in the public’s attitude toward Hamas,” and showed they were authentic.
The astonishing street protests against Hamas in Gaza by thousands of brave Palestinians will hurt the terror group more than any Israeli bomb ever could. The protests, which have grown in size over successive days, speak to the central truth – which so many anti-Israeli activists in Australia cannot admit – that Hamas is the true enemy of the Palestinians in Gaza.
The fact that protests of this size are unfolding among a population which once elected Hamas as their rulers says much about how many Gazans now recognise that the terror group has jeopardised their lives and their future by its ongoing conflict with Israel.
It remains to be seen if these protests, which are so far limited in size, flourish into a broader public movement which would make it difficult, if not impossible, for Hamas to remain in power. This would be the single best outcome for the future of Gaza during the 17-month conflict because peace can only come to the enclave once Hamas has given up military and administrative power.
But the fact that thousands of Palestinians have the courage to take to the streets to label Hamas as terrorists and demand that they should leave Gaza, shows the depth of their anger and desperation.
I do not believe that Hamas could have orchestrated this action to fool Israel and the West.
Jonathan Cahn exposes the dark secret behind the movement to destroy Israel that goes back to Hasan al-Banna, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood. He was enamoured with Hitler and his intent to destroy the Jewish people and went to Germany to work for Hitler.
For both Hitler and al-Banna, the first principle is not that all Jews are evil but that all evil is Jewish. Therefore, the Jews must be hated and ultimately exterminated. For the Jihadists of the Brotherhood, it is, indeed, a holy act pleasing to God and, therefore, a religious duty.
Before proceeding to Hamas, a few words must be said about the Muslim Brotherhood from which Hamas stems and Haj Amin al-Husseini, the tie that binds Hitler to Hamas.
When King Farouk granted asylum to Nazi war criminal Haj Amin al-Husseini on 20 June 1946, al-Banna hailed the former Mufti of Jerusalem as a hero and a great Jihadist. Al-Husseini also had meetings with Sayyid Qutb, the man who would become the Brotherhood’s most influential Jihadist ideologue. In al-Husseini, then, we have an important link between the Nazis and Hamas.
Following their own ideologue, Sayyid Qutb, Hamas understands itself to be waging the same war. To Hamas, it is, indeed, a holy war waged against the satanic God of the Jews.

Hamas invaded and killed over 2000 Israelis including women, babies, and children, and yet it has resulted in antisemitism the world over. This is unfathomable and for me demonstrates it has to be spiritually motivated. Fortunately, Jesus told us that persecution of Christians will also intensify in the last days: tribulation becomes great tribulation before Jesus returns to rapture the Saints. He also said:
“Let not your hearts be troubled: Believe in God, believe also in me… I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” John 14:2-3
Biblical prophecy reveals Jesus will rapture believers to heaven just before God pours out His wrath upon an unrepentant world with the Trumpet (Revelation 8) and Bowl (Revelation 16) judgements. The Anti-Semites of the World United have blamed Israel for creating the famine conditions they wish to exist in Gaza. “International officials continue to accuse Israel of creating famine conditions in Gaza,” noted Family Research Council Action President Jody Hice, “even as research demonstrates that the root cause of suffering in Gaza is Hamas.”
Israel is allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza faster than aid organizations can distribute it. “The amount of food that is being supplied into Gaza by Israel, by the United States, by the Egyptians, including local production … is sufficient,” Kivetz declared. According to an April analysis he co-wrote with fellow Columbia University professor Awi Federgruin, “290,000 tons of food and beverages have been delivered to Gaza since October,” according to Israel’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), enough to supply each of Gaza’s two million residents with “1.82 pounds of food daily.” Based on U.N. estimates, they added, aid imported through Israel is “enough to supply 50% of Gazans’ daily consumption needs — on top of the food they continue to produce themselves.”
In large part due to the generosity of Israel, the Gaza Strip has not reached catastrophic famine conditions. “Obviously, in a war zone, you will have disruptions of the food supply and so on,” Kivetz granted, but “I don’t think we’ve seen evidence of famine — of widespread starvation, heaven forbid, or famine — in Gaza.”
Yet “that’s the story. That’s the narrative that’s being put out there,” Hice noted. International media and commentators have generated rumors of a famine. So far are these rumors from the truth that, “if you compare the amount of food per capita (per individual) that has been supplied into Gaza, compared to the average food consumption in Asia and Africa … it’s even higher in Gaza,” contended Kivetz.
How can the prevailing narrative be so contrary to the facts? On one level, the only explanation is that Satan, who rules this world as “prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2), is also “a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). On another level, there is a human agent with a vested interest in broadcasting such a false narrative. That party is the terrorist group Hamas, they started the war by murdering Israeli civilians and have conducted the war by abusing Gazan civilians.
“Part of the supply chain problem” is “the chaos in war, but part of it is Hamas,” insisted Kivetz, “which has been hoarding and stealing food, which has been firing at the entry points, in fact killing some Israeli soldiers in some of the entry points where food is being provided.”
“A third-grade student would understand Hamas has an absolute incentive to create stories of famine and starvation and deaths,” Kivetz declared. “The more civilians who die in Gaza, the better off Hamas is because they want Israel to stop. … After conduct[ing] their terrible atrocities, they want to escape this and still remain in power.”
“So Hamas really is incentivized, then, to block food and aid,” Hice responded, “particularly if they can manipulate the media and the U.N. to blame it on Israel.”
In fact, in “the recent decisions by the International Court of Justice [ICJ], [and] the International Criminal Court [ICC] … Hamas is getting what it wants,” speculated Kivetz. ICC prosecutors recently indicted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the preposterous charge of starving Palestinians, while the ICJ on Friday ordered Israel to “immediately halt its military offensive in Rafah” — Hamas’s last remaining stronghold in the Gaza Strip.
These preposterous accusations are fulfilling their intended effect: consolidating international opinion against Israel. Josep Borrell, the European Union’s high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, recently declared, “Starvation is used as a weapon of war. Israel is provoking famine.” The truth is, that Hamas is trying to use starvation as a weapon of war, while Israel is effectively forestalling a famine.
“To your question about who is propagating or creating this story of famine,” Kivetz summarized, “obviously Hamas is interested in that. The U.N. unfortunately, is part of that. They use the data that Hamas is providing. The data [are] wrong.”

Does this have anything to do with the end times? Events confirm that we are part of end times Biblical prophecy. The Bible said that before Jesus returns the tiny nation of Israel will be at the centre of world news and all nations will come against it. Israel’s rebirth in 1948 was miraculous. It had to happen for end-times Biblical prophecies to be fulfilled and is the most significant and miraculous of the end-times prophecies. Fulfilled Biblical prophecies are proof the Bible is the inspired word of God.
Israel’s U.N. ambassador, Gilad Erdan, says: “A ceasefire achieves one thing and one thing only — the survival of Hamas. A ceasefire is a death sentence for many more Israelis and Gazans.”
Hamas is unapologetic in its desire to slaughter Jews and destroy the Jewish state. In April of last year, a Hamas leader named Hamad Al-Regeb preached a sermon in which “he prayed for ‘annihilation’ and ‘paralysis’ of the Jews whom he described as filthy animals: ‘[Allah] transformed them into filthy, ugly animals like apes and pigs because of the injustice and evil they had brought about’.”
Why such hatred? Clearly, Satan is its ultimate inspiration. The irrational hatred of a people who compose one-fifth of one percent of the world’s total population cannot but have a spiritual basis. The story of the Bible is, in part, the story of the adversary’s attempts to destroy the Jewish people spiritually, morally, and physically. The Jewish people are the channels of God’s self-revelation in His written Word and in the person of the world’s Savior, Jesus of Nazareth. Of course, the Hateful One wants them dead.
Hence, Erdan says, Hamas must be ended as any kind of viable military or political organization — without qualification. Israel is not trying to kill the families of Gaza. For a time, at least, the Israel Defense Force posted warnings on the internet, dropped leaflets, and even made phone calls into Gaza urging everyone not involved with Hamas to leave for the Strip’s southern region to avoid bombings and ground attacks.
No one can question that the needs of the people in Gaza are profound, and Christians need to be deeply concerned for them. As relief ministries seek to provide essential medical and food aid to the Palestinian Arabs, followers of Jesus should support them.
Yet with all this said, the single greatest irony of the conflict to date is the charge that Israel has a “genocidal” policy toward Gaza’s Arab population while genocide is exactly what radical Islamists have in mind for Israel.
Consider Iran, the greater Middle East’s leader in anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial. As reported by scholar Kian Tajbakhsh in The Atlantic, “hours after Hamas’s horrific attack on Israeli civilians on October 7, all of Iran’s parliamentarians rose from their seats to chant ‘Death to Israel!’” Tajbakhsh notes, “Iran’s fingerprints were all over the October 7 operation. Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza, and Hezbollah in Lebanon, are only the biggest in a network of 19 armed groups that Iran has established along Israel’s borders.” These and other groups receive financial support nearing $1 billion annually from Iran, whose military provides them with weapons and training.
On a political level, many Arab leaders see Israel’s representative democracy as a threat to their power. Newsweek columnist Lee Habib, himself Lebanese, writes that “Israel, like America itself, is a threat to dictators, kings, mullahs, and clerics who despise freedom of conscience and the sanctity of the individual.” This has led Arab nations to rally against “a manufactured common enemy” — Israel.
Again, consider the disturbing but undeniable paradox: Those who try to deny that six million Jews were slaughtered by the Nazis and their abettors are the same people who want to fulfill Hitler’s demonic scheme all while claiming that the Jews themselves want to commit genocide against Gazan Arabs. “There can hardly be a charge more false and more malevolent than the allegation against Israel of genocide,” said Israeli attorney Tal Becker in his opening defense of his country at the International Court of Justice in the Netherlands. “Israel is in a war of defense against Hamas, not against the Palestinian people,” he added.
Israel is in crisis, at home and abroad. America has a moral duty and political obligation to safeguard its security. And, at a time when America’s college campuses contain cesspools of anti-Semitism, that safety must be ensured on our own shores. In a 1790 letter to the Touro Synagogue in Newport, Rhode Island, President George Washington wrote to Jews anxious about how they would fare in the then-new republic, “May the Children of the Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the goodwill of the other inhabitants, while every one shall sit in safety under his own vine and fig tree, and there shall be none to make him afraid.”
