The phrase “Theday of the Lord” identifies events that take place at the end of history.
“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.” Luke 21:34
“For it (The day of the Lord) will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:35
“See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.” Matthew 24:4
“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,” Matthew 24:6-7a
“There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.”Matthew 24:7b
Note the escalation, as with birth pangs, of tribulation to great tribulation in the following Scripture.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.” Matthew 24:9-10
“And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.” Matthew 24:11-12
But note what follows these two verses:
“But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew24:13-14

If only the world knew that the tiny nation of Israel is the nation God established for His purposes and in the not too distant future it will finally fulfill its destiny when Jesus returns to destroy the Antichrist’s army at the battle of Armageddon. Jesus will then set up His Millennial Kingdom from a reconstructed Jerusalem on the highest mountain of the world.
Jerusalem in the Millennium on the highest mountain. During the time God pours out His wrath upon an unrepentant world with the Trumpet (Revelation 8:6-) and Bowl judgements (Revelation 16:1-), the topography of the world is changed.
“And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found. And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.” Revelation 16:30
Thank goodness God told us in advance how the end times will play out for both Jews and Christians. It is a time of tribulation that escalates to great tribulation before God steps in and raptures the living Saints to heaven, but not before He raises the dead in Christ first.
Where do you stand with God? Proverbs 9:10 tells us that: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”, do you fear Him? You should as He hold your future in His hands. If you reject His wonderful offer of salvation through Jesus Christ then you will face His coming wrath, poured out with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements. I have given you the Scriptures outlining what is coming, Do you really want to face them?
The fifth Trumpet judgement: “Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth. They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. They were allowed to torment them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings someone. And in those days people will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them.” Revelation 9:3-6
Time is short, This is the most important decision you will ever make, Where you spend eternity is the outcome.
Where do Christians face the most violence: PAKISTAN – Because of Pakistan’s blasphemy laws, Christians are at constant risk of being falsely accused of blaspheming Islam, the Koran or Mohammed, and they receive harsh punishments when convicted. NIGERIA – Nearly all Christians in north-eastern Nigeria have lost family members or friends in attacks by Boko Haram or Fulani Islamic militants. Entire congregations have been displaced, and many pastors have been forced to leave the region. DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO – The church is under immense pressure in the eastern DRC. In areas controlled by the Allied Democratic Forces, Christian villages have been raided, churches destroyed and hundreds of believers brutally killed.
INDIA: At least two attacks on Christians are being reported every day in India this year, according to new figures released by a Christian advocacy group.
Christians constitute 2.3% of India’s population, based on the 2011 census. The UCF says the Christian minority has been facing growing hostility in recent years, particularly under laws and narratives advanced by Hindu nationalist groups. Twelve of India’s 28 states have laws that restrict religious conversions. Most of these are governed by the Hindu nationalist BJP, which Christian groups accuse of enabling Hindu nationalist attacks under the guise of anti-conversion enforcement.
A total of 313 incidents were recorded between January and May alone, based on calls to a toll-free helpline run by the New Delhi-based inter-denominational body United Christian Forum, according to the Union of Catholic Asian News.
SYRIA: Multiple churches in Syria were attacked by terrorists; at least 20 dead, dozens wounded. A brutal terrorist attack took place on Sunday around 5 p.m. local time at Mar Elias Church in the Douweila neighbourhood of Damascus. The attacker began shooting at people and then blew himself up inside the church. As of 10 p.m. local time, at least 20 people are dead and at least 50 have been wounded, with the numbers still climbing.
Jesus told us what it will be like prior to His return to usher in His Millennial reign on this Earth.
“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. This is a critical presentation by Nelson Walters for Christians on preparing for the coming tribulation before Jesus’ second coming. For the first time in human history, man can tamper with his DNA under the guise of advancing evolution. Once man corrupts his image with animals (chimera) and demons, which happened in Noah’s day, God will step in once again and pour out His wrath upon an unrepentant world. God’s Word reveals that this is exactly what will happen when God pours out His wrath with the Trumpet (Revelation 8) and Bowl (Revelation16) judgments.
Satan’s plan may well include persuading or even forcing mankind to change its genetic make-up, forsaking the image of the one who created us. This may be what it means to take the “mark of the Beast”. Could technology allow Satan to produce a hybrid from his own seed as Genesis 3:15 predicts? Numerous reports that alien abductees had their seed harvested to create a hybrid alien/human race supports this hypothesis.
The transhumanism (posthumanism) movement is all about going beyond being human and evolving into superhumans. Thank goodness God has told us what He allows Satan to do in advance, so we can be prepared and get in step with what He has called us to do.

Nelson and Ryan believe that we entered the last seven years’ tribulation of Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy when the UN entered into a Pact of Peace on Rosh Hashanah, October 2024. The President of the U.N. General Assembly noted that the Pact of Peacewould “lay the foundations for a sustainable, just, and peaceful global order – for all peoples and nations.”
Note the events they say we need to watch for on April 9th 2025, and on the following Feast Days, particularly the meeting of the Arab nations to discuss the future of Gaza and a “Two-State solution”.
Also, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) renewed calls on December 2nd, 2024, for Israel to withdraw from the occupied Palestinian territories in the Middle East. It announced an international summit for June 2-4, 2025, to discuss the potential for a “Two-State solution” in the region.
Biblical end-times prophecy reveals the fury of God’s wrath as revealed in the coming Trumpet and Bowl judgements. For brevity’s sake, I will reveal just the first trumpet judgment and the first bowl judgment. It should be sufficient to show you the magnitude of God’s wrath.
“Now, the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them. The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.” Revelation. 8:6-7
“Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.” So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful sores came upon the people who bore the mark of the beast and worshipped its image.” Revelation 16:1-2
We do not like to think about God’s wrath, but we only need to look back at the times God poured out His wrath upon the nation He established for His purposes, Israel, to realise the wisdom of the Scripture: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Proverbs 9:10
“Thus shall my anger spend itself, and I will vent my fury upon them and satisfy myself. And they shall know that I am the Lord—that I have spoken in my jealousy—when I spend my fury upon them. Moreover, I will make you a desolation and an object of reproach among the nations all around you and in the sight of all who pass by… I will send famine and wild beasts against you, and they will rob you of your children. Pestilence and blood shall pass through you, and I will bring the sword upon you. I am the Lord; I have spoken.” Ezekiel 5:13,17
God has given us more than enough signs to show us that we are fast approaching the time of Jesus’ second coming, first to remove the Saints before God pours out His wrath with the Trumpet and Bowl judgments. We can use this information to warn our unbelieving family and friends of God’s coming judgment. Do they really want to face God’s judgment? At least give them the following Scripture.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”John 3:16-21
“Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” This statement is up front in the only prayer our Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray to our Heavenly Father. How many times has this prayer been prayed, and yet it has not come to pass? But you can rest assured it will, and Biblical end-times prophecy reveals it is not too far off.
Before 1948, Israel did not exist as a nation, so all the Biblical end-times prophecies about Israel and of Jesus returning to Earth on the Mount of Olives to rescue the nation of Israel made no sense. Hence, the miraculous rebirth of Israel was the first major Biblical end-times prophecy that was fulfilled.
The Bible reveals God will regather the Jews from all the Nations, and on Jesus’ return, with Him ruling and reigning, Israel will realise her destiny as head of the Nations.
“Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land.And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms. They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned and will cleanse them, and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” Ezekiel 37:21-23
At the beginning of Jesus’ ministry on this earth, He recited Isaiah 61:1-2 in the synagogue:
“He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” Isaiah 61:1-2
But note what He did then. “And he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. “And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”Luke 4:20-21
Jesus did not read the rest of Isaiah’s prophecy because it refers to His second coming. Look at the incredible amount of detail it provides about what will happen at Jesus second coming to earth and during His Millennial reign.
“And the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.Strangers shall stand and tend your flocks; foreigners shall be your plowmen and vinedressers; but you shall be called the priests of the Lord; they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God; you shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory, you shall boast. Instead of your shame, there shall be a double portion;instead of dishonour, they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore, in their land, they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy. For I the Lord love justice, hate, robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. Their offspring shall be known among the nations, and their descendants in the midst of the peoples; all who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are an offspring the Lord has blessed. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations.” Isaiah 61:2-11
To fulfil Isaiah’s and Ezekiel’s prophecies 37:21-23, as well as the many other O.T. and N.T. prophecies on Jesus’ second coming, the Millennium Kingdom is a necessary transition before the new heaven and new earth. God tells us He will make Israel one nation and make a new covenant with them. He will ensure they never backslide again. The saved and the unsaved alike will behold Jesus’ rightful place as the divine sovereign of the universe.
The Feasts of the Lord are God’s prophetic calendar for Jesus’ first and second coming to Earth. The Spring Feasts predicted His first coming so it is reasonable to assume the Fall Feasts will predict His second coming.
The Rapture will likely occur on Yom Teruah of the Sixth Year of Daniel’s 70th Week and the physical Second Coming will likely occur on Yom Kippur of the Seventh Year at the end of Daniel’s 70th Week. The Resurrection and Rapture (which occur at the trumpet blast of the Seventh Seal) will occur on Yom Teruah (The Feast of Trumpets).
Is there any Biblical support for other Feast Day fulfillments? Interestingly, there is! The Sixth Seal is the Celestial Earthly Disturbance Event. Based on our Feasts model, we predict it will be fulfilled on Shavuot (Pentecost). The initial primary fulfilment of Shavuot occurred when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples in Jerusalem, and they spoke in other languages to the listeners in Jerusalem. Peter delivered the famous sermon found in Acts 2 to those listeners, and 3000 people were saved and baptized. In that sermon, Peter quoted Joel 2:30-31 which directly references the Celestial Earthly Disturbance Event! Peter openly linked the Celestial Earthly Disturbance Event with Shavuot (Pentecost) and with the later Rapture/start of the Day of the Lord (on Yom Teruah). linking the ultimate fulfilment of Shavuot (Pentecost, the day on which Peter was speaking) with the ultimate darkening of the sun and moon as part of the future Celestial Earthly Disturbance Event at the Sixth Seal (Joel 2:31 and Rev. 6:12)—-and also linking the Rapture/start of the Day of the Lord on Yom Teruah (the Feast of Trumpets), to follow shortly after that time (Yom Teruah occurs about four months after Pentecost). This is extremely strong evidence that this Sixth Seal will open on Shavuot (Pentecost), and by extension, from other correlations we have already noted, that all the seals will be fulfilled on the sequential Feasts’ dates. This is speculation, but a logical case is being built for this to happen as such. As you can see, knowing the Hebrew roots of our Christian faith is important in correctly interpreting much of scripture.
