THE TIMING OF JESUS RETURN

I have just discovered John Bevere’s teaching on the end times. I have posted many videos by Nelson Walters, Jonathan Cahn, and others on the end times, but it is always good to find somebody new preaching a Biblically based message.

In this episode, John and his son, Arden Bevere, explore Jesus’ second coming, proving through Scripture that we are in the generation of the end. They unpack prophetic signs, the dangers of deception, and the importance of enduring with a love for truth. This conversation also dives into Daniel’s 70 Weeks prophecy and how it connects to Jesus’ first and second coming. Don’t miss this eye-opening episode that will deepen your understanding of the end times and strengthen your faith!

THE GREAT COMMISSION PART TWO

Since Jesus gave His Great Commission many nations have been taken over and ruled by Christians with God’s Law and for His glory. When God told one man, Moses, to free His people from Egypt, the most powerful empire in the world, and set up a new nation with His Law, that must have seemed impossible (Ex. 3:10-12).

For Moses to be successful, God promised him only one thing – I will be with you. For us to be successful today, Jesus promised us the same one thing – “I am with you.” This is the only mandate Jesus gave us where He said, “I am with you.” Now the impossible becomes possible, actually inevitable… if we believe and obey like Moses did:

By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them” Hebrews 11:33

The word “go”, in the Great Commission is in the continuous tense – “go and keep on going.” Jesus made clear He’s commanding this for every generation – “even to the end of the ages.”

Historically we see the Apostles eventually going to the four corners of the earth. Ethiopia and Armenia were some of the earliest nations to became Christian nations – ruled by Christian civil leaders and ruled under God’s Law. In time the whole Roman Empire, through Constantine the Great, threw out pagan law and replaced it with God’s Law. Previously persecuted Elders/Bishops became Constantine’s continual advisors and teachers – teaching God’s Law to Constantine, as Jesus commanded.

When the United States was founded, most Americans were Christians, even those who did not fully embrace the Christian worldview. This was definitely true of all political leaders.

The United States became strong and also had oceans on each side protecting it. As a result, for the first time in world history, for generations Christian leaders in American no longer felt they needed to concern themselves with politics or civil leaders that might persecute them. Therefore, most spiritual leaders totally neglected applying the Bible for political leaders or civil government. But in the latter part of the 20th century, Christians in American for the first time began to see the consequences of their biblical civil neglect – reaping a growing number of anti-biblical laws. Also media, political leaders and educational institutions began targeting Christians..

After generations of God’s biblical civil mandate being ignored, most Christians today are Scripturally clueless of this. But I would ask, is Satan more powerful than God? Satan’s missionaries have Satanized nation after nation. Either the devil and his people rule Christians or Jesus and His people rule Christians and non-Christians. Which do you think God’s wants? There is NO third alternative.

Jim McCotter tells a great story about a communist student leader who came to know Christ. Soon afterwards he asked Jim, why are Christians not trying to take over the university’s daily newspaper? Not too long later, he and some of the other Christian students got control of the university’s daily newspaper! It was like a Christian revolution started. Over time thousands of students came to know Christ. But what was interesting was how this young former communist, soon after he became a Christian, had a more biblical vision of Christianizing the whole university and town than most traditional Christians ever thought of.

Jim has another story about another former communist who had become a Christian. But before being converted, he was the communist prime minister of Ethiopia in the 1990’s. After being head of state for five years, he began to question his communist way of thinking. When his fellow communists realized he was questioning communism, one night, they suddenly grabbed him and threw him in prison to never be seen again. After seven years in solitary confinement someone smuggled to him a small New Testament. He said that he had never seen a Bible before, nor ever heard the name of Jesus, nor ever met a Christian. However, when he soon read what Jesus said about Himself, he knew Jesus was who he was looking for all his life (John 14:6):

“Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Me.’”

For the next five years, day and night in solitary confinement, he said that he never stopped reading his little New Testament. He said, when he was a communist, with 20 others they established a 1,000 small communist cell groups in homes all over the cities, like New Testament house churches. He said, that’s how they were eventually able to take over Ethiopia at that time.

When he was no longer a threat to the new government, miraculously he got out of prison after 12 years in solitary confinement. He said, the first thing he wanted to do was find the Christians and join them, and like the New Testament to now help take Ethiopia for Christianity, like he had previously done for communism. He said, “But I was shocked when I met the Christian leaders… having no zeal or vision to take over our nation for Christ. And I was further shocked when I saw their enormous expensive church buildings and they did not even believe in NT house churches.” May God convict us today to be all out to follow His Word, for His cause and glory.

By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them” Hebrews 11:33

TRUMP’S INAUGURATION SPEECH

You need to watch and listen to Graham’s prayer and Trump’s speech. I was pleasantly surprised that most of his policies align with Scripture. For one, the law will acknowledge that there are only two sexes, male and female. The LGBTQ agenda in educational institutions will be eradicated. God will not be forgotten and be put back into His rightful place. “IN GOD, WE TRUST” on the USA banknotes will be meaningful again. The World has indeed just changed for the better.

The walls of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) that were built throughout the Biden administration appear to be crumbling right before our eyes. In recent days, numerous companies and institutions have been forgoing their DEI programs and offices. Shortly after taking office, West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey (R) used his new position to end all state-funded DEI programs. And now, in a decision opponents of DEI have long waited for, the FBI has officially announced that they closed their DEI office.

Trump’s reaction: Why is it that they’re closing one day before the Inauguration of a new Administration? Is the reason CORRUPTION!”

SCOTT MORRISON’S TESTIMONY OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

Love this quote from Scott Morrisons’ new book Plans for Your Good – A Prime Minister’s Testimony of God’s Faithfulness.

It doesn’t matter what your vocation is, what job you have, what you’re doing in life. The prize is Christ and His presence. That’s what will sustain you always in everything.”

The former prime minister of Australia explained to The Christian Post how God sustained him when he led his country through an especially tumultuous time, and explained how he has learned to find his value not in power, but in God’s love for him.

Scott Morrison, a Christian who served as Australia’s 30th prime minister from 2018 to 2022, detailed his faith journey in his 2024 book, Plans For Your Good: A Prime Minister’s Testimony of God’s Faithfulness.

The book posits three main questions based on Jeremiah 29:11, exhorting readers to consider “Who am I?,” “How should I live?,” and “What should I hope for?” The book provides pastoral reflections on how to answer such fundamental questions while weaving compelling stories from his own life and time in office. Morrison emphasized to CP that the book is not a political memoir, but rather a message of hope to readers facing their own doubts and struggles.

Morrison is also very open in his book about how he began to suffer anxiety attacks while serving as prime minister that required medication in 2021. He urged Christians not to be ashamed if they need help with their mental health amid what he described as “an anxiety crisis, particularly in Western society.”

“Anxiety is human,” he said, adding that his anxiety was not caused by policy challenges or security threats, but rather “physical exhaustion combined with the tenacious, relentless, personal, vindictive attacks — principally through secular voices in the media and opponents.”

“We’re all flesh and blood, mind and spirit,” he said. “And these things can affect us.”

“I say to Christians that you take a pill for a headache, and your mental health is no different,” he said. “The stresses that we labor under at times need that sort of support.”

“I was on my knees at that time, I was praying, I was seeking the counsel and support of Christian friends and others, but there are physical things that happen that can affect your mental health, and you’ve got to be mindful of those things.”

Morrison also said Christians should acknowledge the spiritual aspect of anxiety by casting their anxieties on the Lord.

“As Christians, we need to learn how we can just hand these things over to God; the anxieties are real, the things we’re anxious about are real,” he added. “We can’t pretend they’re not there, and we’ve just got to deal with them and hand them over to Him and allow Him to give us peace.”

‘Constant source of strength and wisdom’

Morrison stressed the importance of having a community of believers who upheld him in prayer while he was in office, including a tight-knit group of pastors.

“You can’t live your faith other than in community of brothers and sisters in Christ, and that’s intentional by design, I believe,” he said.

“God helps us when we’re on our knees in prayer; He helps us when we’re reflecting on His work, and He also encourages us and supports us through those he puts around us. I’ve always been blessed with that, and, frankly, sought it out.”

Morrison suggested the increasingly secular nature of Western societies makes Christian fellowship even more vital.

“You can’t live in a secular society faithfully and strongly if you’re not in a community of those who love Christ,” he said. “They are a constant source of strength and wisdom and support and love, and to be in such a community is one of the great joys and blessings of Christian life.”

‘We don’t have to prove anything’

A section in the third chapter of Morrison’s book delves into the many setbacks and failures he has suffered, starting with when he was fired from his job in the country’s tourism agency during his late 30s. He claims he was fired for political reasons by then-Prime Minister John Howard, with whom he had a good relationship and whose campaign he worked for.

The experience, he writes, was “humiliating and soul destroying,” but revealed to him how much he was placing his self-worth in his own accomplishments instead of in God’s unconditional love for him.

“We don’t have to prove anything to God, even the things we think we are doing for Him,” Morrison writes. “God’s love has nothing to do with what we think we can offer. He loves us just as we are, in all our brokenness.”

“God’s love is transformational if you allow it to be. It’s one thing to accept it; it’s entirely another to let it transform you and allow you to see yourself through His eyes instead of through the perspective of what you have or haven’t accomplished.”

That lesson would prove invaluable throughout the rest of his life and steel him to experience other losses, including ultimately losing reelection as prime minister in 2022. He writes that while some politicians who lose begin to crave the “relevance” they lost, he is free from such an “affliction.”

Morrison suggested to CP that one of the greatest lessons he has learned is God’s faithfulness regardless of what vocation to which he is called in the different seasons of his life.

“I just found God faithful to me in every walk of life, whether it was as prime minister, as a treasurer, as a cabinet minister, a member of parliament, a father, senior chief executive, all these sorts of things that I’ve done over the course of my life,” he said.

BECOMING A PEOPLE OF BLESSING

My oldest believer son just sent me the latest edition of the book The Grace Outpouring – Becoming a People of Blessing by Roy Godwin and Dave Roberts. I had read the book in 2008 when it was released and was impacted significantly by its content. It’s the kind of book that changes your perspective of Jesus, His work, and the power of the Holy Spirit to change lives.

Roy Godwin and his wife Daphne through an amazing set of circumstances (miracles) become directors of a beautiful Welsh Christian retreat centre, Ffaldy-y-Brenin. However, Roy, who had been an active evangelist and businessman felt out of place in a retreat centre where Christians came to recharge and reflect.

Daphne was convinced from the miracles that occurred for them to get the posting that they were where God wanted them to be and she convinced Roy that he needed to take it to the Lord. His prayer and how God answered it is amazing. Within hours of Roy’s prayer there was a knock at the door. “The tall and middle-aged couple calling on us were unknown”.

“Hello, I hope you don’t mind us calling like this, but could you tell us what this place is?” The reason for their visit was eventually revealed.

“Well, we were driving along here, and we don’t quite understand it, but we were compelled to come up your drive. From the sign, they knew it was a Christian retreat centre but that meant little to them.

Daphne got them a cup of tea and Roy eventually explained to them that in this place lives get changed because God is real. Roy then took them on a tour of the retreat with its beautiful views of the valley and surrounding hills. The final destination was the chapel. “There they seemed to sense something of the presence of God, although they might not have been able to articulate what was happening to them. They sat down rather speedily, rather heavily, as though their legs had gone weak.” Roy was prompted to create a new tradition. We have a rule here of how we respond to our visitors. We like to bless them before they leave. May I bless you?” They had no problem with that so Roy simply said, “I bless you in the name of Jesus to know God, His purpose for your life and His blessings on you and your family and the situations of your life, Amen.”

They started to weep. The sense of the presence of God was tangible. Roy felt led to leave them alone with God so left the chapel. It was time for God to do what He wanted to do with that couple.

The next day another knock on the door and the same enquiring words. At last as Roy went through the social pleasantries it was dawning on Roy that this was God’s response to his prayer. When Roy eventually took them to the chapel the Holy Spirit came with even more power and the couple wept profusely.

Later that day Roy and Daphne prayed: “Lord we like what you are doing and we bless what you are doing. Lord, would you please do more of it?” And He did. In fact, God started to send so many people that today there is a reception area for them where they are greeted by team members.

If you are not blessing people try it: Asking people, if you can bless them is an offer few people refuse. We are not saying, “Can we pray for you in a general way?” We are not putting a difficult burden on those doing the praying. Blessing someone is simple and easy. The Holy Spirit comes because when you bless, you reflect something the Father is doing and speaking words the Father desires to be said. God desires to bless His creation. A simple prayer is “I bless you in the name of Jesus to know God, His purpose for your life, and His blessings on you and your family and the situations of your life.

YFC ACTIVE AT SCHOOLIES ON THE GOLD COAST

Mark Powell is the pastor at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, Hobart, and a writer and commentator on Christian issues. Pastor Powell was especially impressed to learn what happened at Schoolies on the Gold Coast last month.

He was pleasantly surprised to see a story about “queues of teens” lining up to be baptised in a mainstream media report written by Eleanor Katelaris on news.com.au, one of Australia’s two dominant news sites according to Ipsos rankings. She wrote in part: “An organisation called Youth for Christ (YFC) is hosting public baptisms, inviting teenagers to embrace a more spiritual path amid the usual Schoolies chaos.” “It is a public declaration of faith signifying the symbolic death of a believer’s old life and the beginning of a brand new life following Jesus.”

“This wholesome side of Schoolies has caught the attention of many on TikTok, where one YFC missionary is sharing videos of their initiative.” “It’s certainly an unusual sight – in one clip, a sea of young people walk through the main strip of Surfers Paradise holding Jesus Loves You and Get Baptised signs.” “In another, teens are seen lining up on the street to visit the YFC stall on the main strip.” Cindy McGarvie, National Director of Youth for Christ Australia, said its mission teams have been offering baptisms at Schoolies since 2016. “We’re at Schoolies to share the hope of Jesus. It’s the message we want to be sharing wherever we go. The baptisms are a small, but significant outworking of this simple focus,” she told the reporter. Ms. McGarvie said the feedback this year was “overwhelmingly positive” — noting that most nights there was a constant flow of schoolies coming up to them, asking genuine questions about God. She conceded there can be a lot of “negative influences” on young people at Schoolies, so she is “thrilled” to see so many keen to learn about Christianity.

YOU ARE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE

It is awesome to consider what we now know about the complexity of our bodies. Our bodies consist of many trillions of cells. Yes trillions. It is hard to comprehend that number. Most of those cells carry inside them a tightly packed bundle of genetic information. The information of the genome is stored on the DNA molecule. One cubic millimetre contains about 470 petabytes (3.76 x 1018 bits) of data. This is equivalent to 470,000 laptop computer 1-terabyte hard disc drives. The unofficial standard thickness of such drives is 9.5 mm, equating to a pile over 4.4 km high. Micro SD cards of 2 terabytes are now available but you would still need about 250,000 of them to match 1 mm of DNA. It is therefore extremely unlikely that man will get close to the information density of DNA. To say mankind evolved by random chance from pond scum is absurd and yet our universities and schools teach it as fact.

Each of us began with God, was uniquely designed by God, is made in His image, and is assigned to our times. His eye is on us. Believing this, trusting this, and having faith in God’s love for us may take a lifetime to embrace fully, but it is the truth. It’s an empowering truth. I am living it at 88 years of age. Get my book Living Eternal Now – Ready for Jesus Return if you want to know how. It is available as an eBook and paperback on Amazon.

FAILED PREDICTIONS OF EVOLUTION

Evolutionists often claim that they have made many successful predictions that show evolution is true. However, the many failed predictions prove the theory is without valid functionality. Random chance will not produce complex functioning organisms.

In this video, Dr. Don Batten covers five major failed predictions across cosmological, geological, and biological evolution.

Eminent scientists like Dr. Dean Kenyon (former Professor of Biochemistry at Stanford University and the author of two evolutionary biochemistry textbooks) said the discovery of DNA (complex information) and the electron microscope that revealed complex machines inside every living cell rang the “death knell” of evolution. DEMONIC DELUSION OF ANTISEMITISM: FOUR CRITICAL TESTS FOR EVERY CHRISTIAN

Calling every pastor and every follower of Jesus worldwide to ‘Be Like Bonhoeffer!’

Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a German pastor and theologian who possessed not only the moral clarity to distinguish good from evil but also the historical and doctrinal clarity that Jesus was a Jew.

Bonhoeffer understood that it was impossible to separate the person and work of Jesus — who he believed was the Messiah of Israel, and therefore the Savior and King of the world — from the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!

But his understanding was not merely intellectual; it was a deep, unwavering conviction that fueled extraordinary courage.

He boldly stood against Hitler and called the church to awaken to the evil of antisemitism, urging those who followed Jesus to stand with and protect the Jews, who were being systematically isolated and persecuted.

In 1938, Bonhoeffer wrote, “Only he who cries [out] for the Jews may sing Gregorian chant.”

In April 1943, Bonhoeffer was arrested by the Gestapo after attempting to save 14 Jews by helping them escape to Switzerland.

Following his arrest, it was revealed that Bonhoeffer had been involved in a plot to assassinate Hitler.

Yet Eberhard Bethge, Bonhoeffer’s close friend and biographer wrote, “There is no doubt that Bonhoeffer’s primary motivation for entering active political conspiracy was the treatment of the Jews by the Third Reich.”

On April 9, 1945, just days before the American liberation of the POW camp, Dietrich Bonhoeffer was hanged at Flossenbürg where it is believed 10,000 Jews lost their lives.

The last words of this brilliant, godly, and courageous man — who stood up to Hitler, gave his life to rescue Jews, and once said, “When Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die” — were: “This is the end — for me, the beginning of life.”

A ‘Bonhoeffer Moment’

Today, we stand at a turning point in history. We are facing a “Bonhoeffer Moment” — why? Because we are witnessing the rise of antisemitism and anti-Zionism at levels not seen since the Holocaust.

As Christians, we cannot, NOT see what we are seeing. We must not make the same mistakes that so many made in the German church during Bonhoeffer’s time.

What is essential at this crucial moment is that every Christian pass four critical tests:

1. The moral test

Hitler believed in a superior race, while today the Iranian Islamic leadership believes in a superior faith and seeks to establish a new Islamic world order, with Israel standing on the front lines of this battle. Today, the “Free Palestine” campaign has become nothing less than the rallying cry of “Islamic Nazis” — those who seek to destroy Israel and spearhead an Islamic New World Order. Those who chant this slogan are deluded by evil; those who promote it are its puppets.

2. The historic test

The land of Israel is the ancestral home of the Jewish people! Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to a national home in Israel. A Christian is a Bible believer who stands on the biblical promise that God gave the land of Israel to the Jewish people and in fulfillment of prophetic Scriptures, God is behind Israel’s regathering in the land after nearly 2,000 years of dispersion.

Anti-Zionism stands in opposition to the very purposes of God. Anti-Zionism is the promotion of the idea that the land of Israel is not the historic and ancestral home of the Jewish people. This lie is the fertilizer of the false narrative that Israel is “the oppressor” in “occupied Arab land,” feeding the delusion that murder and rape against Jews is a justified response.

3. The theological test

Christians are grafted into God’s unfolding plan through Israel and the Messiah of Israel. “… you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you” (Romans 11:17-18).

4. The faith test

Our faith should not only inform us of the truth but also transform us. As Scripture reminds us, “faith without works is dead.”

If Christians don’t pass these tests, how can we expect the world to?

To be like Bonhoeffer is to pray for and protect all Jews, to fight against the insanity and demonic delusion of antisemitism, anti-Zionism, radical Islamism, replacement theology, and other attacks on Israel and the Jewish people.

May there be an awakening throughout the Christian world — one where the darkness of antisemitism and anti-Zionism is confronted first by Christians, ensuring that our Jewish friends and the nation of Israel know more than ever that they are not alone. Now is the time!

He is the founder of “The Context Movement” and spearheads yearly “Friends of Israel Weekends” to fight anti-Semitism and champion friendships between Christians and Jews.

REVIVAL IN GERMANY ACCORDING TO INTERNATIONAL EVANGELIST JEAN-LUC TRACHSEL

Thousands of young people packed the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart, Germany for the Fire Festival to praise, worship, and hear the Word of God.

An international evangelist says, that “revival in Germany” is breaking out as hundreds of people are getting “saved, delivered, healed, and baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

“After a short preaching of the ABC of The Gospel hundreds upon hundreds of young people came at the altar to give their lives to Jesus,” shared international evangelist Jean-Luc Trachsel. “Truly it’s harvest time in Europe like here in Stuttgart, Germany.” The Fire Festival kicked off on October 2 and ended on October 5 with a “Jesus March” through Stuttgart. Europe Shall Be Saved partnered with Holy Spirit Night for the event to reach Germany with the Gospel “through young revivalists who will influence the different spheres of society for the Kingdom of God.” Trachsel, the founder of Jean-Luc Trachsel Ministries said, “I’ve seen with my own eyes thousands of people getting saved and today it’s water baptisms in a glorious and joyful atmosphere,” he added.

The six-day event is just the latest example of what is taking place by the Spirit of God in the nation. Night of Hope is another movement taking the Gospel message to the streets of Hamburg, Bremen, Munchen, and many other German cities. Their outdoor crusades are marked by prayer, salvations, and testimonies of healing. “We are thankful to see what God is doing here in Germany,” the group shared on Instagram. Attendees were recently encouraged to “leave old things behind” and embrace their new life in Jesus Christ. “Only Jesus can truly set you free! He is our saviour, king, and deliverer,” they wrote. Evangelist David Rotärmel is behind Night of Hope through his evangelistic ministry, Reviving The World, which is on a mission to “see entire cities revived and shaken by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” “There is an urgency being imprinted on our hearts by the Holy Spirit – NOW is the time to put our hands to the Plow and spread the Gospel like wildfire throughout the nations to every people, tribe, and tongue,” reads a statement on their website.

Much of Europe has abandoned the Christian faith, embraced secularism, and returned to its pagan roots. According to a Pew Research survey, the number of European Christians has been expected to drop by about 100 million, falling from 553 million in 2010 to 454 million in 2050. Meanwhile, Europe’s Muslim population is expected to increase by 63% in that time frame. Trachsel previously told CBN News he is seeing the decline firsthand in Switzerland where only three to five percent of the seven million people are born-again Christians. “I feel the time is coming where here in Europe, maybe the real Christians will have to be underground,” he said.

Despite those negative trends, massive revival gatherings have been happening this year throughout the continent including a move of God that is reaching Germany as well as France, the Netherlands, Hungary and Italy. The “harvest in Europe is truly ripe,” Trachsel recently shared.

“Holy Spirit Night” is another Europe-wide movement characterized “by praise, prayer, proclamation and the freedom to let the Holy Spirit work,” according to its website. It is currently taking place in 15 countries and 35 different cities including Germany, Ukraine, Belarus, and Austria. Trachsel is urging Europeans to continue to believe for God to move mightily in their countries and is applauding those who are forging ahead on a mission to increase the number of souls for God’s kingdom. “The main reason Jesus came on earth is to save those who are lost,” he shared. “Truly it’s harvest time in Europe.”
