THE LORD IS ALWAYS AT WORK PARTICULARLY IN CRISIS SITUATIONS

Lord is always at work. In fact, it is specifically in the midst of catastrophe, crisis, and the times when it seems as though the Lord is most absent that He is actually most active. Learning to see gospel opportunities when many others only see crisis is not a skill that comes naturally. Yet it is a skill that the body of Christ must learn. The closer we get to Jesus return the more we are going to see crisis situations and catastrophes. The Bible is clear, the last seven years of history prior to Jesus return will entail Christians going through tribulation and great tribulation in the second half of the 70th Week of Daniel. We are fortunate that God has given us many prophecies concerning His Second Coming so that the church can prepare and even use the prophesied events as part of our evangelism efforts.

Is the church preparing for this period?

We are told that there is a great falling away in the church in the last days. Sadly, we see that happening in our day with much of the church compromising with the world on issues such as gay marriage, homosexuality and other LGBTQ issues.

The catastrophes of history have not been meaningless. God’s plan was that in the fullness of time, He would reveal the hero of the story who would make sense of all the suffering mankind has endured throughout the ages. From the chaos is revealed a mystery of unimaginable grace from God to His creation. More than has ever been given out, by way of indescribable human suffering, God has taken upon Himself in the person of His Son. The promised Deliverer finally came, and His tragedy was greater than any catastrophe to ever befall mankind, for God made “him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Before the first human disaster ever struck, God determined that He Himself would bear all of the suffering of man’s failures on Himself when He would come and die on a wooden cross. If we are tempted to think it has been unfair that God would orchestrate catastrophe in human affairs, can we still remain uncertain in light of this truth?

ELOQUENT TEACHING ON TIMING OF THE RAPTURE

Another excellent video from Nelson Walters on the timing of The Rapture (Matthew 24:30-31 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

It is important we understand that Christians will experience tribulation and even great tribulation during the last seven years (70th week of Daniel) before Jesus returns to earth to liberate Israel at the Battle of Armageddon.

Before you watch Nelson’s video let me share this revelation: the Holy Spirit revealed to me another gem on the timing of The Rapture just two days ago. I was reading Revelation Chapter 8 on the opening of the seventh seal.

Already, I had accepted from the work Nelson Walters has done, that The Rapture takes place at the trumpet blast at the seventh seal.

SUMMARY: At the fifth seal, Revelation 6:9, John sees the souls of martyrs under the altar. They are crying out, asking when was God going to judge and avenge them. Then, they were asked to rest a little longer until the number of their fellow servants and brethren who would be killed as they were was completed. They were also given white robes, but at this stage the resurrection of the saints has not occurred so are unable to wear them.

At the end of the chapter on the opening of the sixth seal, Revelation 6:17 we read “For the great day of His wrath has come and who is able to stand. God is about to pour out His wrath upon the earth. It is time for the saints to be raptured as both Jesus and Paul said, the saints will not experience God’s wrath.

Next in Revelation 7:9, John sees “behold a great multitude which no one could number of all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues standing before the throne and the lamb clothed with white robes and palm trees in their hands.” Note they are no longer souls but have bodies and are wearing the white robes (The Rapture has occurred) and no longer complaining but crying out with a loud voice saying “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the lamb.”

Now what was the gem I observed that confirms The Rapture has occurs at the opening of the seventh seal?

In Revelation 8: at the opening of the seventh seal: “Then another angel having a golden censer (contains the prayers of all the saints) … and he was given much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.” Revelation 8:3. Once the prayers of all the saints ascended before God, what does the angel do with the censer which held the prayers of the saints? “He filled it with fire from the altar and threw it to the earth. And there was noises and thunderings, lightnings and an earthquake” Then, the wrath of God began to be poured out on the earth with the trumpet and bowl judgements.

The Holy Spirit revelation for me was that the golden censer was no longer needed for the prayers of the saints as the prayers of all the saints had been offered up. They were now raptured, the censer could be thrown to the earth filled with fire to initiate the wrath of God being poured out.

The following email from Nelson Walters was confirmation and an encouragement.

Ron,  Brother, it is good to hear from you.

First, your observation about the censor is brilliant. YES, another proof. Holy Spirit stuff.

Second, glad your considering a voice over on the PPS (sermons for the end times church), which can be muted or played as desired. I use a Blue Yeti plug-in microphone which is easy to use. Cost about $100 or so, but super easy and high quality.

WHEN WILL THE CHURCH BECOME AN ACTS 4 CHURCH?

When will the church in the west become an Acts 4 church? Only when the circumstances around us mirror the conditions of the early church. Fortunately, we are seeing many examples of it happening in the Middle East where the church has come under intense Islamic persecution. We are being given an example of what our Lord requires of us during the prophesied coming Tribulation.

Image result for pictures of destroyed churches in Egypt

In Egypt, where more than forty churches were destroyed in the months following former President Morsi’s (Muslim Brotherhood) removal from office via a military coup in July 2013, Christians who had not fled the country continued to calmly meet for worship and show forgiveness to Muslims who broke the steeples of their churches as they screamed, “Allah is great”! As one church’s caretaker  said, sitting in front of a devastated church building, “Whatever they didn’t take they destroyed”. Believers met while sitting in front of a wall with graffiti proclaiming “Egypt is Islamic!”

Bob Simon reported on 60 Minutes that Egyptian Copts believe suffering deepens their faith. “We were surprised that there was no anger, no call for revenge.” he added, after attending a worship service in the one room not burned to the ground in one church. Bob Simon explored this further with Bishop Thomas , a Copt leader, who replied, “Forgiveness is a very important principle of the Christian life. When you are able to present forgiveness and love, you are able as well to ask for justice. One day, justice has to be fulfilled.”

Middle Eastern Christians have learned what it mean to bless those who persecute them, but also insist on justice where possible.

In other words, Copts are willing to die for their faith, but they also will continue to insist on constitutional protection of their people, as any Christian should. When Jesus said “turn the other cheek”. He said it in a society that guaranteed no rights for His followers. If we live in a country that does protect those rights, we should insist on them for as long as the legal code covers us, which it probably will in the early days of the Tribulation.

Christians in Syria have learned how to do this. many have chosen to stay in their towns and cities, even if Islamist’s rebels have overrun them and looted, tortured, raped and killed them. As Open Doors USA spokesperson, Emily Fuentes has reported, based on eye witness accounts:

There are some Christians who are fleeing because they have no other choice, but there are many Christians that have really felt God’s call to stay in town, even though they have been attacked and targeted because of their faith. They realise that God is using them, and are reaching out to their Muslim neighbours.”

Can you put yourself in that setting? Close your eyes and picture that for a moment. What would you feel? How would you act? At least, say a pray for your Middle Eastern brothers and sisters that are living this right now.

Churches have become de facto refugee care centres in the Middle East, not houses of worship alone.

In the parts of Syria where church buildings have not been desecrated, they have become de facto relief agencies, providing clothes, food, and Christian teaching. These churches are seeing people come to faith in Christ as the congregants love everyone who has been made homeless, not just for Christians. This is in stark contrast to the Islamic approach to provide aid for Muslims only. What an amazing witness, to care for everyone in the midst of intense suffering. The church has done this throughout history and no doubt will do it again during the coming Tribulation.

What will we do when faced with a similar situation, will we run or stay? Will we stay to win our attackers and fellow refugees to Christ? Will we show grace to other Christians who choose differently to us? Maybe, we will be in a church where people go separate ways as persecution intensifies.

Can I suggest church, we need to start to pray and prepare now, to know what God will have us to do to help our brothers and sisters under persecution around the world, not only in the Middle East, but also to know what we should be doing to prepare, in our own church, community, and nation.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE LAST DAYS

This video series by Nelson Walters on How to Prepare for the Last Days is much needed by the church so I encourage you to circulate the series widely to friends and families.

Most Christians believe we’re in the end times , but do nothing to prepare. That is why Nelson put together this video, “How to Prepare for the Last Days. It first answers three fundamental questions:

1. Have the end times begun?

2. I’m saved, what else do I need to do?

3. What are God’s purposes for the end times?

Once these questions are answered, everyone will want to see the rest of the video to learn Jesus’s special commands for the last days and the believers’ role in them.

God uses catastrophes for His purposes. The book Mystery of Catastrophes is a great resource to show what God is doing in these last days through catastrophes such as what we are seeing in the Middle East. God plans to bring more catastrophes across our paths to provide us with opportunities to present the love of God and the Gospel to the lost.

I have a power point sermon – The Mystery of Catastrophes (based on Joel and Nathan’s book) up on http://www.powerpointsermons.net for Home Group/Church use.

The following video is video 3 in the 9 part series. The whole series is about 2 hours in duration. I recommend of course that you schedule to watch all 9, but this video is a good starting point.

BIBLICAL PROPHECY UNFOLDING IN OUR TIME

Tens of Thousands of Iran’s Missiles in Syria are Pointed at Israel,’ Threatens Iranian Official

In addition to threatening the Jewish state, a top adviser to the Iranian foreign minister declared during a recent TV interview that “Palestine and Jerusalem will surely be liberated soon.”

Former Iranian ambassador to Syria Hossein Sheikholeslam told Iran’s IRINN TV that Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad had pledged a leading role for the Islamic Republic in Syria’s reconstruction and the return of refugees following the brutal civil war that has torn asunder Assad’s nation.

According to Sheikholeslam, Iran deployed tens of thousands of missiles in Syria to protect against “American and Israeli aggression,” referring to U.S. President Donald Trump as a “tyrannical king.” Sheikholeslam added that “Palestine and Jerusalem will surely be liberated soon,” claiming that Israel should immediately leave the Golan Heights.

Prior to the reestablishment of Israel in 1948 none of the “end times” prophecies of a restored Israel with Jerusalem as its capital would have been possible particularly this prophecy by Jesus concerning His Second Coming:

“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies then know its desolation is near. Then let those in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things written may be fulfilled.” Luke 21: 20-21

This is a direct reference to Daniels 70 weeks prophecy. Daniel 9: 24-27

ROAD MAP TO THE END TIMES

ROAD MAP FOR END TIMES EVENTS BASED ON BIBLICAL PROPHECY

What are the order of the end times events given by Jesus in the Olivet Discourse and Revelation?

In these two books of the Bible the same 13 events are prophesied to happen in the same exact order. Is this Road Map confirmed in 2 separate books? What are the odds that this could happen by chance? Watch this 18 minute video by Nelson Walters and you will find out.

25 BIBLICAL END TIMES SIGNS – WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Lots of false prophets in the last days. This is one of the signs of the end times. Well! we are certainly seeing lots of end times prophets.

Don Stewart is an unknown prophet for me. However, I am confident he is not a false prophet. He believes in the authority of Scripture. In fact, I am impressed in large part by what he has to say in this video about end times – 25 signs. Sadly, Don misses the role Islam plays in the end times and the identity of the Antichrist. He will not be a European from a revived Roman Empire.

Let me know what you think? It’s nice to get a response occasionally. Those that are followers of this website know my view of where we are in Biblical history and what God has called me to do. What about you, what is your calling in these “last days”?

THE TIMING OF CHRIST’S RETURN AND WHY IT MATTERS

MORE ON THE TWO WITNESSES OF REVELATION 11 FROM ZECHARIAH 4

Pastor Steven Anderson, a Baptist pastor, does a good job of showing how Revelation 11 reveals the answers to the questions posed by Zechariah to the angel, on the vision given of the golden lampstand and the two olive trees, in Zechariah 4.

The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 are the two anointed ones, the spirit of the Lord has come upon them, and it certainly could be the Spirit of Elijah and Moses considering the works we are told these two witnesses do, which mirror those done by Elijah and Moses.

After the Rapture, God will still have His witnesses on the earth with the Two Witnesses in Jerusalem and the 144,000 evangelists – “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants (144,000) of our God on their foreheads” Revelation 7:3

I would also agree with Pastor Anderson on his timing of The Rapture being PreWrath just before God pours out His wrath upon the earth with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements.

I will make sure that this video sermon is put up on http://www.powerpointsermons.net under the topic THE TWO WITNESSES OF REVELATION 11. If you have not visited this website, please do, as it has great resources for the “last days” church. I believe it is now time to actively promote http://www.powerpointsermons.net and would appreciate your help in getting the word out of its existence.
