When the Trump administration announced its withdrawal from, and defunding of, 66 international organisations and treaty bodies on 7 January, 2026 much of the media coverage framed the move as reckless isolationism or short-term budget cutting. That framing misunderstands what is actually happening.

This is not primarily a cost-saving exercise. It is a deliberate strategic break from a model of global governance that increasingly perpetuates problems rather than resolving them, and that relies on the continuous expansion of mandates, budgets, and crises to justify its own existence. Money matters here, but only insofar as it reveals intent.

Using the most recent consolidated US government contribution tables, a conservative reading shows that the United States was spending at least $90 million per year on a subset of the 66 organisations now being exited. That figure is a lower bound, based only on clearly identifiable FY2023 obligations tied to a handful of the largest recipients.

Among the biggest recipients of recent US funding on the withdrawal list were the United Nations Population Fund, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, UN Women, and UN-Habitat. Together, just these four entities account for the bulk of the identifiable spending in the conservative estimate above, with the population fund alone receiving tens of millions of dollars annually from the United States.

Climate-related bodies illustrate particularly clearly what Washington is stepping away from. US funding for the UNFCCC secretariat and associated climate processes has typically run into the low tens of millions of dollars annually, largely through voluntary contributions. These funds do not finance emissions reductions or energy innovation directly; they support the administrative machinery of global climate governance — conferences, reporting frameworks, expert panels, working groups, and compliance processes that expand year after year regardless of measurable climate outcomes.

This design is not accidental. Climate institutions are structured around process rather than resolution. There is no condition under which the UNFCCC can declare success and wind itself down. Progress justifies more funding; failure justifies even more.

The conservative $90 million estimate excludes dozens of smaller agencies among the 66, indirect funding routed through multi-donor trust funds, and future escalations embedded in open-ended commitments. In other words, $90 million is not the headline; it is the floor.

The administration did not withdraw randomly. The organisations selected for exit share a common institutional pathology. Bodies created to solve specific, technical problems have gradually evolved into permanent advocacy platforms. Climate secretariats, population agencies, and norm-setting bodies rarely declare success because success would undermine their relevance and funding base.

Over time, this has produced institutions with weak performance metrics but strong moral authority.

Trump’s move signals a return to an older, now unfashionable principle: institutions should exist to solve problems, not to manage them indefinitely. By stepping away, the United States is reasserting sovereignty over policy priorities rather than outsourcing them to consensus-bound bodies. It is forcing a reckoning inside international organisations that have become dependent on US funding while remaining resistant to US scrutiny. It is also demonstrating that withdrawal is possible, breaking the assumption that once a country joins a global institution, exit is unthinkable.

A global climate, health, or development system that depends on the continuous escalation of crisis narratives is structurally incapable of declaring success. Trump’s decision confronts that reality directly. The savings — tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars — are real. But the larger gain is conceptual: the restoration of the idea that institutions are tools, not moral authorities.

In God’s scheme of things, Trump is a reprieve from the Godless agenda that has been controlling the world. A new ruling from the United Nations has tightened the grip of climate change catastrophism.

In a 40-page mandate released on Wednesday, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) told nations to fall in line or face the World Court’s wrath.

Countries that fail to align with what amounts to Gaian worship will be punished with a similar ferocity of “justice” to those that commit war crimes, the court warned.

Consequences for not taking climate justice seriously, the ruling said, include “paying full reparations, restitution, compensation, and/or satisfaction.”

The ICJ added that any nation in breach of its Carbon Zero commitments — as outlined by the 2015 Paris Agreement, among others — must “employ all means at their disposal to ensure compliance.”

Despite the mandate not defining what compliance by “any means necessary” would look like, it’s fair to assume this means mutating Carbon Zero into Carbon Communism.

Lockdowns, personal carbon credit scores, carbon taxes, petrol car bans, energy rationing, and carbon passports are all measures prescribed by today’s climate catastrophists.

Notably, the ICJ admitted climate change reparations may be “difficult to calculate, because of uncertainty about the role anthropogenic climate change played in causing the damage.”

Acknowledging its limited reach, the World Court concluded that it could only offer judicial advice in response to questions about who’s to blame and for what. At the same time, the ICJ said its latest “climate justice” ruling is unprecedented.

Climate catastrophism “is more than a legal problem,” the court determined. Rather, it is an “existential problem of planetary proportions that imperils all forms of life and the very health of our planet.”

Unsurprisingly, the IJC finished by implying that the “lasting solution” was compliance with Carbon Communism.

The only satisfactory answer, it said, is social and political action that “changes our habits, comforts and current way of life in order to secure a future.”

Overall, the World Court’s so-called urgent and “game-changing” determination is toothless. It is ultimately only the opinion of the UN court in answer to young climate activists who claim that islands like Vanuatu are shrinking.

It’s of no surprise that UN boss and “global boiling” believer Antonio Guterres was overjoyed by his court advocating COVID-like, climate crisis mitigation mandates.

Following claims that the so-called “climate crisis was laying waste to lives and livelihoods,” Guterres welcomed the ICJ’s ruling.

“They have made it very clear,” he said, “that States are obligated under international law to protect the global climate system.”

“This is a victory for our planet, for climate justice and for the power of young people to make a difference.”

THE WORLD IS MOVING TOWARD THE PROPHESIED ONE-WORLD GOVERNMENT

The World Health Organization’s Executive Board voted to bestow “official relations” on the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR), an international abortion law firm and lobbying group funded by numerous far-left billionaires including George Soros. After multiple rounds of voting, WHO finally approved CRR’s petition for partnership by a secret ballot vote of 17-13 on Tuesday.

CRR has waged legal warfare around the globe to overturn pro-life protections for the unborn, attempted to assert a worldwide “right” to abortion-on-demand and transgender procedures, denied religious conscience protections, and insisted children have the right to have an abortion without parental notification.

Opposition to CRR’s petition was led by Russia, the 47-member WHO African Group, and the Eastern Mediterranean Region. “We firmly stand against the introduction of official relations with the Center for Reproductive Rights due to the controversial concepts they promote,” explained the delegate from Egypt before the vote. He promised to join Russia and other nations as they “escalate” the question of WHO’s alliance with CRR to the World Health Assembly when it next meets in July.

Interestingly, the opposition is led by Russia. I would have expected the Muslim nations to be the most vocal.

With the help of the World Economic Forum (WEF), we will see the United Nations taking more control over the nations it represents. While this move towards the prophesied one-world government takes place we will also see the prophesied battle of Daniel 8 when Sunni Turkey puts down Shia Iran’s bid to dominate the Middle East Muslim world. WEF officials made it clear that public health measures will play a role in their plans, despite some of its most prominent considerations proving counterproductive. World Health Organization (WHO) Secretary-General Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus refused to answer Canadian journalist Andrew Lawton’s question about whether he would reject lockdowns as a public health measure for future pandemics. During COVID-19, Ghebreyesus implied lockdowns did not go far enough. “Physically distancing restrictions are only part of the equation,” he said. “Early case finding, testing, isolating, caring for every case and tracing every contact is essential.” The China-backed doctor’s silence is significant, as he is proposing a massive expansion of its authority through a global pandemic treaty, as well as controversial guidelines to expand abortion and transgenderism.

Lockdowns won the praise of WEF panelist Dr. Sangrit Reddy, vice president of Apollo Hospitals, who said in India, “the fact that there was early intervention of vaccination, there was a lockdown” helped tremendously and that such mandates will be “important going forward.” She also hoped artificial intelligence could “find and detect the problem so early that we can prepare for interventions.”

Climate change will also be weaponized as a “health crisis,” said John Kerry’s daughter, Vanessa Kerry, who is co-founder and CEO of Seed Global Health. “The climate crisis is a health crisis, fundamentally. And that actually means it is a crisis, therefore, also, of our stability, our security, our economic growth, and our fundamental survival as a globe,” said Kerry inarticulately on Tuesday. Since “we are losing progress on [the U.N.’s] Sustainable Development Goals,” nations “have to phase our fossil fuels, ‘cause this is a crisis of burning fossil fuels.”

A persistent discomfort pulsed through the 2024 World Economic Forum: the possibility Donald Trump will defeat Joe Biden this November. To compensate, multiple speakers discussed the joys of circumventing democracy and hemming in Trump, or any elected leader who represents the average man instead of Davos Man.

“How are we assessing the election risk? There is a risk the wrong leaders will get elected,” declared Bloomberg TV’s Haslinda Amin while moderating WEF’s panel on global risks. To assure WEF had no doubts about who the “wrong leaders” might be, Alex Soros claimed Friday that America had an “unwritten” system of checks and balances until “one man, Donald Trump, literally came in and just took that all away.”

“So, what Trump is a monster at is, sort of, completely rattling and bringing down, sort of, the structures of institutions,” added Soros’s fellow panelist Rachel Botsman, who describes herself as “a world-renowned expert on an explosive new era of trust and technology”, and yet she delivered this babble. “Democracy often depends on trustworthy systems being able to hold untrustworthy individuals, right?” asked Botsman rhetorically, ironically in a panel on global democracy.

“Fortunately, the United States has very strong institutions,” including “the courts,” replied S&P Global President Douglas L. Peterson. “We’re gonna have to rely on them, depending on what the outcome of the election is. And we also need to make sure we stay engaged through global institutions like the United Nations, NATO, and other organizations around the world — and I add into that international trade pacts,” to limit U.S. sovereignty under Donald Trump. 

However, a U.S. government official revealed that globalists do not intend to rely solely on government institutions. Climate Envoy John Kerry boasted that no president would be able to stop the Green agenda favored by WEF elites, due to public-private partnerships and government incentives.

“I don’t want this obviously, but if you wound up with a different president who was opposed to climate crisis, I got news for you: “No one politician anywhere in the world can undo what is happening now”, boasted Kerry. “You know as well as I do,” Kerry told his fellow WEF attendees. “The marketplace is doing this. The only issue for all of us is not whether or not we can get or will get to a low carbon and no carbon economy globally. We will.”

In reality, “the marketplace” is taking taxpayer funds and following government dictates to produce electric vehicles consumers do not want. The Biden administration dedicated $12 billion — including $2 billion in grants — to convert U.S. auto plants into EV plants and another $7.5 billion to build charging stations which, sadly, do not charge in the winter. But in November, nearly 4,000 car dealers informed the Biden administration, “The supply of unsold BEVs (battery electric vehicles) is surging, as they are not selling nearly as fast as they are arriving at our dealerships — even with deep price cuts, manufacturer incentives, and generous government incentives.” No doubt technology will eventually produce batteries that charge quickly and can deliver long mileage, safely at low and high temperatures but this is not the case at the moment so government efforts to force change will not happen without a “police state”.

It is so comforting to know that God is in control and that events are totally under His control. Moreover, He told us in advance so that we would know He is in control. The coming tribulation that He allows Christians to experience is to purify His bride.

“Farming, especially the production of meat animals, is contributing to the warming of the globe at an unprecedented rate,” said Secretary-General of the United Nations Justin Trudeau as he opened the conference. “And to tackle the root cause, we have to tackle demand— that is, people eating food.”

“This is a matter of public health. And as we learned from successfully combating Covid-19 with lockdowns and other restrictions, public health issues need the heavy hand of government to be solved.”

“Anything based on science can be justified as a public health mandate,” Trudeau said. “The scientific health benefits of fasting and calorie restriction are clear. And therefore these could, and should, be mandated on the American public.”

Trudeau also said that they are working with the Pope to get Catholics back to fasting from meat on Fridays and Lent but also at the next COP33 Climate Conference, we will host spiritual guru Charlotte Tan who promotes the practice of sun gazing to replace meals. “When you commune with nature, you realize the abundance around you. Gazing at the setting or rising sun can provide enough nutrients to your body to replace about half of your calories.”

Tan says that her “Nature’s Bounty” walks have also been popular among spiritually in-touch Americans. “What we do is take a quick walk around a yard or a city block and find all the unused food resources just there for the taking. By eating edible weeds like dandelion or chickweed, people can save money, which gives them more time for meditation and activism.” “But we don’t stop there,” Charlotte Tan continued, “Crickets, grubs, maggots— these might seem disgusting at first glance. But enlightened people realize these are just parts of nature. They are wholesome, fulfilling, and rich in high-calorie lean protein. And best of all, they don’t add to a human’s carbon footprint. In fact, by eating them, we reduce it.” Tan said that scorpions were especially popular food last year at her tent at Burning Man.

“In the past, we have focused on data and logic to try to convince people to eat bugs,” Secretary-General Trudeau said before the conference’s first night meal of filet mignon. “This approach tackles the emotional side. The World Economic Forum (WEF) has made clear that it sees itself as a model of how the world should be governed – actively advocating through its Global Redesign Initiative for a shift from multilateral governance based on state-to-state decision-making to multistakeholder governance in which corporations have a much more dominant role, becoming effectively global citizens. This process is already underway with the emergence of evermore self-selected and self-appointed multi-stakeholder forums worldwide such as the World Water Forum, the Marine Stewardship Council, or the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

The Board in a sense is a vision of how the WEF wants the world to be run – by a small group of mainly male corporate executives with the same education and ideological vision, with a mere smattering of diverse non-corporate actors to give their actions legitimacy.

The WEF’s globalist agenda is to unite all nations under one universal government. It involves two strategies: 1, Restrict all personal freedoms and rights, and 2. Eliminate nationalism. The key to this plan involves securing central control of all economic activity by transferring private property to the State. It engages the foremost political, economic, and cultural leaders of society to shape, global, regional, and industrial agendas. From a Biblical end times prophecy standpoint we see WEF, the influential merchants of this world and the UN cooperating to introduce centralised control of all nations. At the same time, we see the Pope capitulating with the world and its values. Could he be the false prophet?

At the end of this era prior to Jesus return, the Bible tells us we will have a one world government. Together with the Antichrist and Satan, who empowers both of them, the false prophet is the third party in the unholy trinity.

WHAT A LEADING U.S.A. FINANCIAL ANALYST IS SAYING ABOUT THE FUTURE

The following economic information on the US is taken from an article by Simon Black, Founder of Sovereign Man. His recommendations are radical – it makes sense to consider having another place to go for you and your family to be safe.

The US national debt is now $33.6 trillion… and it has increased more than HALF A TRILLION DOLLARS just so far this MONTH. Astonishing. And it’s a pretty safe bet that the US government will continue its wild spending spree.

In the last fiscal year which just ended a few weeks ago, a whopping 83% of US tax revenue was spent JUST on Social Security/Medicare, the military, and interest on the national debt. And spending on those three programs is probably not going down.

Does anyone honestly think that a majority of politicians in Congress will slash defense spending at a time like this? Or eliminate Social Security? Or default on the national debt? Those three spending items can’t really be cut. In all likelihood, they will INCREASE. Given all the conflict in the world, US defense spending will probably grow. Social Security spending is already scheduled to increase according to the program’s own published forecasts.

And, considering how quickly the national debt is rising– coupled with higher interest rates– annual interest payments will skyrocket. This means that spending on Social Security, military, and interest, will likely increase from 83% of tax revenue to ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of tax revenue, over the next several years.

America will have to go into debt to fund everything else in the federal government, from Veteran’s Benefits to Homeland Security. But don’t take my word for it. Even the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), which is a government agency of the United States Congress, agrees.

The CBO’s most recent 10-year forecast shows that mandatory entitlement spending (like Social Security) plus annual interest payments on the national debt, will EXCEED all US federal tax revenue by 2031. And that doesn’t even include defense spending! This reality is only SEVEN YEARS AWAY.

Yet if that train wreck wasn’t enough, remember that Social Security’s key trust fund will also run out of money two years later in 2033, according to the program’s most recent annual report. And bailing out Social Security will cost trillions of dollars just to get started.

So, just to be clear, the government’s own projections show that they will reach the fiscal point of no return in just seven years… and then require a multi-trillion dollar bailout of Social Security two years later. Yet as grim as that timeline may be, these government forecasts also naively assume that there will be no major war, pandemic, or national emergency in the meantime. So in reality the doomsday may be much closer.

I’m not being dramatic or sensational. Again, I’m literally citing US government forecasts. Millions of unsuspecting people will have their lives turned upside down from the negative consequences.

Social Security is in serious trouble; 50+ million people are at risk of having their benefits slashed by 2033. There’s also a very high likelihood that the Federal Reserve will start cutting interest rates and printing money again in order to bail out the federal government… thus creating a LOT more inflation.

Taxes will almost certainly rise. Crime could definitely increase, especially petty theft and robbery. Business conditions could be a lot more difficult; it will be harder to raise capital, harder to borrow, and harder to sell, causing a number of companies to either fail or never be started in the first place.

If crime rates spike and civil disturbances become more frequent, it makes sense to consider having another place to go for you and your family to be safe. That might be somewhere overseas in a country where you enjoy visiting and your kids could pick up foreign language proficiency. It might even be a place where you could one day become eligible to apply for a second passport, creating a lifetime of benefit and flexibility for your entire family.

Also, if the value of the US dollar is going to decline… and the rest of the world seems likely to find a replacement as the dominant reserve currency… it makes sense to find alternative assets that can hold their value over time.

The United Nations Is Planning to make a Covenant with the Many in September 2024. Will this begin the Biblical prophesied last seven years and tribulation? The U.N. calls it the “Pact for the Future“. These proposals cover and I quote:  “A New Agenda for Peace that would reinvigorate our collective security framework; a global financial system that works for all; economic metrics that go beyond GDP [gross domestic product] to underpin policy decisions; a compact that would harness the benefits and manage the risks of digital technologies and artificial intelligence; a voluntary code of conduct on information integrity online; new protocols to manage global shocks more effectively; stronger cooperation in outer space; a transformation of education systems; the meaningful inclusion of young people in global decision‑making processes; ways to safeguard the future and uphold the rights of future generations; and a UN 2.0, better equipped to support Member States through the use of data, digital tools, innovation, foresight, and behavioral science. I commend the progress that has already been made on many of the mandated Our Common Agenda recommendations, through the debates convened last year by the President of the General Assembly; the establishment of the UN Youth Office; the five transformative measures for gender equality; the new vision for the rule of law; the Global Accelerator on jobs and social protection; and plans for the proposed open Biennial Summit among members of the G20 [Group of 20], ECOSOC [Economic and Social Council], leaders of international financial institutions and myself as Secretary-General of the United Nations.

The Pact for the Future will be your contract with each other and with your people.  It represents your pledge to use all the tools at your disposal at the global level to solve problems before those problems overwhelm us.  The challenges we face are universal. They require universal solutions and cannot be solved through small groupings of states or coalitions of the willing. The United Nations is the only forum where this can happen.  It will also be important to welcome the contributions of civil society, academia, the private sector, and other important stakeholders.

Former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has told CBN News she fears all the world’s nations are about to submit too much sovereignty to a United Nations organization.

The former congresswoman points out that the Bible warns that a world-dominating power will bring trouble. “When you look at what the Bible says and the convergence of events that we are seeing across the world right now, and what the prophets from the Bible have said, we need to really pay attention to what’s going on. Because this is the creation of a platform for global government.  And according to the Bible, things that are not good come out of a global government.”

Michelle is correct, what we see happening is fulfilling Biblical end-times prophesies. It is the first move toward a one-world government and the Antichrist spoken of by Daniel.

Before the Antichrist arrives on the scene, the Bible speaks of a battle between Iran and Turkey, the winner being Turkey and for a short period of time the re-establishment of a revived Ottoman Empire. It is then broken up into four possibly by United Nations forces.

“Then the goat (revived Ottoman Empire) became exceedingly great, but when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven.
Out of one of them came a little horn (Antichrist), which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the glorious land.” Daniel 8:8-9

The Antichrist arises out of one of these four kingdoms.

All the evidence indicates we are fast approaching the last seven years prior to Jesus’ return so how should we live?

Jesus made it possible for our Heavenly Father to send the Holy Spirit to enable us to live the Christian life. He is our Counsellor, Teacher, and Comforter. He produces the fruit of the Spirit in our lives (all 9, Galatians 5:22-24) and provides the gifts of the Spirit (all 9, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11) for ministry so God has provided all we need. All we need to do is to say each minute of every day, not my will but Your will be done in me today. Then God will use you mightily for His purposes.
