Senator Ralph Babet (UAP) has been mocked for proclaiming God over government in Australia’s national parliament on Tuesday, 28th October 2025.

Australia has lost its way because it has turned its back on the Christian foundations that built it. Secularism promised enlightenment but delivered confusion, he remarked. We’ve replaced God with government, virtue with vanity, and truth with propaganda. It’s time we choose again between light and darkness.

For centuries, Christianity gave us purpose and moral strength, the Senator asserted, Now, we worship false idols. Without Christianity, Babet said, the West is rich in luxury but starving in spirit.
