God has given us 2000 prophecies about the “end times” prior to His return to rule and reign over the nations for 1000 years. It will be a time of intense persecution for Christians so He wants us to be prepared. We need to know He is in complete control of the events and that He is working out His purposes on His earth.
These are Jesus’ own words; note what the Christians are doing despite the persecution; they are preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:9-14
The Bible clearly shows us that there will be a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT but it isn’t the Beast Empire as most expect. If not, what will this government be and what happens to it that allows the Beast to take control? Watch this Nelson Walters video for the biblical answer. How the United Nations becomes a One World Power.
Often referred to as ‘nature’s time capsule’, amber offers fascinating glimpses into the past due to the stunning level of preservation of creatures fossilized in it. It is a valuable tool in examining which history, creation or evolution, offers a better explanation of today’s world. As we will see, amber continually confounds evolution’s long war against God on multiple fronts.1
This article by Peter Robinson of Creation Ministries http://www.creation.com is stunning evidence for a young earth, Noah’s Flood, and therefore Biblical inerrancy.
Background: Amber is fossilized tree resin, usually from conifer trees. Resin is part of a tree’s defence (immune) system. When the tree is damaged by animals, insects, the weather, or people, it releases the sticky resin. This plugs up the ‘wound’, which seals and sterilizes it. It prevents any insects or fungi from entering the tree through the damaged section. After oozing out, the sticky resin left exposed to the elements can degrade and weather away once it has done its job (think of a scab and intelligent design).
For the resin to become amber, it first needs to be buried, where it begins to harden and is called copal. As more heat and pressure are applied, chemical transformation occurs, completing its journey to amber. It is regularly claimed by evolutionists that amber takes millions of years to form. However, as they occasionally admit, “it’s not sure how long the process to turn resin into amber actually takes.” The following examples together show that the Bible’s history and timeline fit the facts better than the evolutionary one.
beetles
humming bird
cockroach
All of these creatures are identical to those that live today. Despite evolutionary ages of millions of years, they have not changed/evolved in any way. All three of these fantastic fossils are much better explained by the global Flood some 4,500 years ago. At the start of the Flood, forests were ripped up by the turbulent waters. As the trees travelled together, they would have smashed against one another, releasing large quantities of resin. As the extremely sticky resin can float in water it would have trapped and encased any small items that were also in the water. This explains the wide range of insects, small animals, and plant material (and sometimes marine fossils) included in it from a considerable range of environments.
The circumstances in which amber is found, and the inclusions inside, frustrate the evolutionary dogma of long ages. Such finds don’t point to tens of millions of years of evolutionary stasis, or droplets of resin falling from tree roots into a cave. They are instead like ‘God’s time capsules’, testifying to a huge catastrophic event in which large amber deposits formed—namely, the watery judgment He sent upon the earth around 4,500 years ago.
Like Elijah, we need to take the words/tasks God gives us by the Holy Spirit seriously. Note: If Elijah did not give the people of Israel the warnings that God gave him to give them, then “that wicked person will die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.”
Note: He will die for his iniquity not be tortured in hell for eternity. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23.“For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16. “For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.” Romans 8:13“The truly righteous man attains life, but He who pursues evil goes tohis death.”Proverbs 11:19
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them a warning from me. If I say to the wicked, You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.” Ezekiel 3:17-18
God held the O.T prophets accountable for doing what He asked of them. Likewise, He holds us accountable as well to do the “good works” He has called us to do.
As I pointed out in my recent post Powerless Prayeras we yield to God’s mercy and walk closely with him, our ideas are changed. We jettison old ways of thinking, as healthier, more life-giving inspiration arises in His company, and as our minds are renewed, we become more attuned to Him and to His will. Only then, in our closeness with God, where His good, pleasing and perfect will is known, can we pray effectively and minister effectively.
‘Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.’Romans 12:1-2
Who are the people God is asking you to serve and bring to them the Gospel message? He has chosen to partner with us in this; we are His hands and feet in the world, and He works through us, as He did through the O.T prophets such as Elijah, Ezekiel, and Isaiah.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.“Ephesians 2:10
Does God have anything different to say to rich Christians?
“As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to berich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future (in the Millennial Kingdom), so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.” 1 Timothy 6:18-19

Preface for the book
The Bible is full of fulfilled prophesy which is a testimony of its divine inspiration and inerrancy. It is estimated that as much as 75% of the 2,500 prophesies in the Bible have already been fulfilled, and most of those yet to happen are “last days/end time” events.
How many churches today are preparing their congregations for Jesus’ second coming? Do you realise that there are more prophecies about Jesus’ second coming than His first? The Pharisees and Sadducees did not get it with His first coming, and the church is not getting it, with His second coming, maybe in your lifetime.
“For this reason, you also must beready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.” Matt. 24:44
Equipped with the knowledge of the Bible’s “last days” prophecies, we will see many of these events unfold in our time. We will look at these unfolding “end times” events in the last chapter, Discerning the Times. It is an exciting time for a Christian who is prepared to live eternal now. For both, the unbeliever and believer alike “great tribulation” is ahead, but the discerning believer understands the times and is prepared.
I would like this book to help equip Christians to fulfill God’s assignment for them in these last days. You will only be able to do that, if you are aware of the times we are in, submit to the indwelling Holy Spirit, have total confidence in God’s Word, and are able to defend it to an unbelieving church, atheists, and agnostics.
We get one life. The apostle Paul could not have said it more clearly: everything we give ourselves to will be judged in the fire of Jesus’ coming. Everything. If it is not yoked to eternity, it will burn up. We will not take it with us. But if it is yoked to eternity—if we labour in such a way that we build, establish, encourage a love for and allegiance to Jesus in people’s hearts—it is gold that will not only survive the fire, it will shine forever.
Evolution has been one of Satan’s most successful strategies to undermine God’s church. He has attacked the foundational book of the Bible, GENESIS. It is the book of beginnings. It teaches real history about God’s initial perfect creation. It is foundational to most of church doctrine.
It teaches important truths: God exists outside of His Creation; His Creation includes a supernatural realm as well as a natural realm. God created angels that inhabit the supernatural realm and can enter the natural realm. Rebellion against God occurred first in the supernatural realm with Lucifer. The prophet Isaiah gives a snapshot of our supernatural enemy. “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the Morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ Isaiah 14:12-14
God reveals that Lucifer, now known as Satan, was successful in deceiving one-third of the angels God had created to serve Him. They, now known as demons, serve Satan in his diabolical plan to deceive all mankind so they will suffer the same fate as Satan and his rebellious angels to be cast into the “Lake of Fire”
Genesis is truly foundational, teaching origins and thetrue history of this world: 1. Creation event, 2. Male and Female Roles, 3. Marriage, 4. The Fall, 5. Sin, 6. Death, 7. Suffering, 8. God judged the world with Noah’s Flood, 9. Confusion of Languages at Babel that established the nations of today, 10. God establishes the nation Israel for His purposes. Its prophesied reestablishment as a nation in 1948 is central to God’s end-times plan.
Genesis is foundational to the most important event in all of history – JESUS OUR SAVIOUR enters our world, achieves victory over Satan, and provides the way for man to be born again, of the HOLY SPIRIT into a renewed relationship with our Heavenly Father.
“For He (our Heavenly Father) made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21
JESUS established the church and gave us His Word (BIBLE) to preach the GOSPEL to all the world. His Word also tells us how history ends: it is wonderful for those who repent and accept HIS gift of eternal life but tragic for those that reject it. Their fate is punishment in the Lake of Fire and the second death.
To help better equip you for the years ahead, I have four primary goals.
1. Provide evidence that God exists, and that life is absurd without God.
2. Demonstrate the BIBLE is God’s inspired WORD. Therefore, an accurate historical document from Genesis to Revelation.
3. Show Christians what can be achieved, if they listen to, and obey the Holy Spirit. He indwells all believers. Our body is the “temple of the Holy Spirit”.
Jesus said, if we listen and obey His instructions, we can truly do what He did on the earth and even more. The Holy Spirit’s role is to convey Jesus’s instructions. John 14:12. As the prophesied “last days” events unfold, this will be essential, if we are to be used by God to bring in the “end times” harvest.
4. Promote unity within the body of Christ as we are one body, one family in Christ. Jesus is head of the church. This unity will be essential in the last days. Jesus told us there will be a great falling away (apostasy) as persecution of Christians escalates. The church in the last days will look more like the early church described in the Book of Acts and the church in China during the reign of Mao. For that matter, also like the persecuted church today, in Syria, Iraq, Iran, Egypt and other Middle Eastern and African countries ruled by Islam.
“And I (Jesus) do not pray for these alone, but for those also who shall believe on Me through their word, thatthey may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me. John 17:20, 21
We need diversity within the body of Christ, but Jesus said unity is essential. Why? “So, the world may believe that You have sent Me.”
When the Church moves in unity, it is not addition; it is the power of multiplication that is evident.
Sadly, the Roman Catholic church and many of the denominational churches no longer believe or teach the word of God accurately. As a result, it is powerless. The great falling away is already upon us.
As the Biblical worldview is totally opposed to the satanically inspired worldview of billions of years, the website shows the latest scientific evidence that supports the Bible’s Creation account and the latest archaeological and historical evidence that supports the historicity (6,000 years) and authority of the Bible. Much of this information is extracted from the website creation.com which I think is a must-view for all Christians who want to be equipped to defend the Biblical worldview.
Testimonies are powerful witness tools. You will read testimonies of changed lives, particularly PhD scientists who have realised evolution is a failed theory and at least embraced Intelligent Design and therefore a Creator. Decide which testimonies you can use and memorise them.
I include the philosophical arguments for God: Ontological, Cosmological, Teleological, Moral arguments (the existence of Objective Moral Values), and the argument from probability that life could not form by natural processes, e.g. Fred Hoyle, famous British mathematician and astronomer said “the probability of the formation of just one of the many proteins on which life depends is comparable to that of a solar system packed full of blind people randomly shuffling Rubik’s cubes all arriving at the solution at the same time” which of course is absurd.
The book’s content is sourced from many origins but only from recognized authorities. When scientific articles are quoted, they are from scientists that have the highest qualifications from prestigious universities.
The book is based on the website, http://www.livingeternal.net, which I set up in December 2012 and as of May 2020, I have just uploaded post one thousand two hundred and twenty-five.
This site will keep you up to date on end-time events as they relate to Biblical prophecy.
Cold-Case Detective Jay Warner Wallace declared the Gospel changed everything for him, particularly how he addressed every person he came across, including criminals. Great story.
How Wallace saw the world and his role in it changed dramatically when he came to faith in Jesus.
By watching this video you will also learn a lot about other religions and how those religions that existed before Jesus have been modified to include Jesus in some way at least as a wise teacher. The religions like Islam that have arisen after Jesus also include Jesus in some way. No one has had an impact on the world like Jesus whether it be on art, music, education, even on religions.
Everyone wants Jesus on their side. Satan is the master deceiver so by including Jesus in these religions he gives them some credibility.
‘‘Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.’James 5:14-15
The clearly expected outcome – ’the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.’ In verses 17-18, James continues to assert the miraculous power of prayers, offered in faith:
‘Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.’James 5:17-18
Clearly, James believed that prayers offered in faith would result in the physical, miraculous intervention of God. When we look at the life of Jesus, and the amount of time and energy he devoted to healing the sick, which was an expression of his deep compassion for the suffering, it is easy to see that James was closer to the truth than most Christians are today.
Jesus relied on miracles to confirm his words, moreover, He told us that those that believe in Him will do even greater works than He did.Do we really believe Him?
“I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14
Powerless prayers have been rendered as such by the long, slow erosion of faith among God’s people, and that erosion has been made possible by the embracing of false traditions. For example, the kind of prayers that close with ‘not my will but yours, be done’. This is not stated in faith, in expectation of an outcome, but more as a catch-all – ‘please ignore everything I just asked for, if it doesn’t suit you.’
This is not the model of discipleship we are to follow and teach, where we are completely unaware of the will of God, and our prayers are at best guesswork. Paul urges us to walk ever more closely with God, and increasingly understand his will.
As we yield to God’s mercy and walk closely with him, our ideas are changed. We jettison old ways of thinking, as healthier, more life-giving inspiration arises in His company, and as our minds are renewed, we become more attuned to Him and to His will. Only then, in our closeness with God, where His good, pleasing and perfect will is known, can we pray effectively.
In the early church, the lived experience of the Christian faith was far greater than it is today. There is much we have lost and must seek to restore.Back to the church as God intended as revealed in the Book of Acts.
Praying effectively: James sums it up well:
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.’James 1:6-8

Are we watching the governments and global billionaires take advantage of Covid 19 and the chaos it is causing to the economies of the world to introduce global control and eventually a one-world government. The World Economic Forum (WEF) is already talking about The Great (Financial) Reset.
“The pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world to create a healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous future” — Klaus Schwab, WEF
Are supply shortages, not enough workers, and hyper-inflation we see now going to cause the economic collapse seen in the 3rd Seal of Revelation? The black horse of Revelation 6.
“A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius,” Revelation 6:6
“When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius (a day’s wages), and three quarts of barley for a denarius… ” Revelation 6:5-6
Are we headed toward that biblical event? What is causing these effects like the worker shortage and what can a Christian do about them right now to PREPARE for the Third Seal? Watch this episode of Last Days Breaking News with Nelson Walters to find out.
MISSION TRIP TO LONDIANI, KENYA NOVEMBER 2nd – 9th.
Report by Pastor Charles Owino:
We safely arrived Londiani Tuesday afternoon November 2nd. We were welcomed by Pastor Omwenga and the eight members of the house church. In the evening, after opening prayers, we held our first market place meeting.
PREACHING & TEACHING MEETINGS: We were able to conduct indoor and outdoor meetings at different locations ministering to many people. God did mighty works through us in all our meetings, many people believed and surrendered their lives to Christ, and were baptized. INDOOR MEETINGS: Many people turned up to our house meetings to hear the gospel message. Many were moved by the Gospel message and nine people opened their hearts to Jesus Christ, believed and repented from their sins and were baptised. One of these was a young man who gave his life to Lord Jesus Christ, he repented and later testified of his past sinful deeds as a thug. He is pictured both being prayed for and giving his testimony to the group.
Two women who admitted to being prostitutes upon hearing our gospel message, stepped forward, knelt down to receive prayer, the two women believed and repented from their sins, and later gave their testimonies.
Testimony given by Dorcas Awino: “After completion of secondary school, I walked out of my family and moved to Kericho to get a job, after six months of failing to get a job, I was persuaded by my closest girl friend to join her in prostitution. We would stay in the house all day, but at night, we would stand along the streets, half naked in bikkini shorts. Men took us to large bars, there we would drink beer and dance discos and later these men would take us to the lodgings for all night sex. I thank God today for touching my life, I decided to surrender my life to Jesus Christ, and start living my life for Him. I now believe I’m his child forever, loved, washed clean by his shed blood. And His joy and strength is now in my life forever.
Healings and Deliverance:
Men and women who were demon possed we’re healed and delivered. As pictured Mrs Odhiambo with elephantiasis was not healed immediately but two weeks after we got a report from her husband who is a village elder and from the daughter that she is healed and pain free. (I will ask Charles to get a picture of her healed leg.)
A NEW HOUSE CHURCH FOUNDED: As a result of the work done through us by God in this region of Londiani, a new house church of eight members was birthed. This new young house church will be under elder Gedion, but he will be helped and strengthened by pastor Omwenga of Ogembo House Church, and this will continue until brother Gedion become strong and fully built up and mature in the faith such that he can stand alone with the church.
FORTHCOMING KHC MISSION TRIP, NOVEMBER 26TH – 30TH:
Our next mission trip will be to LIDHA, BUEMBU, NYAROMBO AND BONDO house churches. As I have mentioned, we have held 20 mission trips and all these trips have been solely funded by brother Ron. We kindly request well wishers, friends and believers in Jesus Christ to help join hands with brother Ron in supporting KHC movement to go on this planned mission trip.
BACKGROUND:
KHC began in 2010, and our main calling and mission is making disciples, and planting house churches.Thankfully, your closeness and daily prayers and support have helped us reach and win many souls back for Christ, with many house churches planted in different regions of Kenya, and one in Nyamuzi in the republic of Tanzania. To-date, we have planted fourteen house churches, with thirteen in Kenya and one in Tanzania. Thankfully to brother Ron and all his closest friends and family, for their effort to help and ensure KHC becomes strongly established here in Kenya.
DONATIONS: For the proposed KHC Mission Trip in November and for equipment to hold Zoom Meetings with Charles I would like raise $1000 so would appreciate your support. Donations can be made by clicking on the Donations icon on my Home Page. All donations will be acknowledged on the website unless you choose to remain anonymous.
Francis Chan answers the question. What advice would he give others in regard to navigating political issues?
Francis stresses the overriding importance of unity within the body of Christ. God wants unity in His church. This is sacred, this is holy. Jesus’ final high priestly prayer to His Father makes it clear how important the unity of His followers is to Him. We should not let issues like Covid vaccination or should I wear a mask or not wear a mask, divide us.
“They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake, I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.” John 17:20-23
Where in the Bible are we commanded to plant churches? The simple and obvious response is, “it is not commanded.” Planting churches flows naturally out of making disciples. The heart of the church’s mission is to make disciples who make disciples.
In the New Testament, a disciple is more than someone who grows in their theological knowledge of God. A disciple fellowships with other believers, worships in a community, and prays like those assembled in a house in Acts 4.
“And now, Lord, look upon their (the Worlds) threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:29-31
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, a disciple then boldly declares the word of God such that more and more people become followers of Jesus.
Missionaries have historically been the most vital source of a nation’s social development. These findings yield two important conclusions about the work of Protestant missionaries. Their message was good for the world and their focus was making disciples.
This understanding of a disciple is highlighted throughout the New Testament. Through a study of the early movement in Ephesus, we see at least thirteen characteristics common to them all.
Disciples are respectful of people and culture when they engage in God’s mission (Acts 19:7, 37).
Disciples surrender to God’s will and maintain the work of their first love in a theocentrically focused missiological theology (Eph 1; Eph 5:18-19; Rev 2:4).
Disciples declare the mystery of Christ to the nations (Eph 3:4-10, 1 Tim 2:1-4).
Disciples are equipped by movement leaders for ministry (Eph 4:12; 1 Timothy).
Disciples exhibit the fruit of the Spirit (Eph 4-5).
Disciples are empowered by the Holy Spirit to be witnesses (Eph 5:18-19, 2 Tim 1:7).
Disciples are godly fathers and mothers, husbands and wives, employees and employers (Eph 5:22-6:9).
Disciples pray for opportunities to share the gospel because they know God is most glorified when more people are worshipping him (Eph 6:18-20, 1 Tim 2:1-4).
Disciples stand up for the marginalized (1 Tim 2:8-15, 5:3-16; Rev 2:6).
Disciples learn sound doctrine from movement leaders who can teach (1 Tim 4:7).
Disciples are willing to suffer for the sake of the gospel (2 Tim 1:8).
Disciples are committed to multiplying more disciples (2 Tim 2:2).
Disciples defend the faith against false teaching (Rev 2:2).

Authorities in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh arrested seven pastors at a prayer meeting under the state’s “anti-conversion” law, which Christians have accused Hindu nationalists of using as a tool to persecute them.
The pastors were arrested during a prayer meeting they were holding in Mau district last Sunday, UCA News reported, adding that the pastors have been charged with “illegal assembly.”
The U.S.-based persecution watchdog International Christian Concern said this past weekend that the Christians remained in jail.
“We will move bail applications and are hopeful that they will be out of jail soon,” the pastors’ lawyer, Ashish Kumar, was quoted as saying.
The police initially also detained 50 worshipers but released them the same day. Two Catholic nuns who were at a bus stop near the prayer house were also held at the police station for several hours until the evening, said UCA News.
“Police wanted to book the sisters along with the pastors but let them go after the pastors and the faithful said they were not part of the prayer group,” Father Anand Mathew, a member of the Indian Missionary Society, was quoted as saying.
An Indian man walks outside a deserted Baptist church, as India remains under an unprecedented extended lockdown due to COVID-19 on May 5, 2020, in Delhi, India.
Uttar Pradesh is one of the several Indian states that have “anti-conversion” laws, which presume that Christians “force” or give financial benefits to Hindus to convert them to Christianity.
The law states that no one is allowed to use the “threat” of “divine displeasure,” meaning Christians cannot talk about Heaven or Hell, as that would be seen as “forcing” someone to convert. And if snacks or meals are served to Hindus after an evangelistic meeting, that could be seen as an “inducement.”
The ICC previously noted that India’s population data proves that the conspiracy of mass conversions to Christianity is a false claim. “In 1951, the first census after independence, Christians made up only 2.3% of India’s overall population. According to the 2011 census, the most recent census data available, Christians still only make up 2.3% of the population.” This is a sad state of affairs and Christians need to pray for India and God’s plan to liberate this nations from Satan’s clutches.
India ranks as the 10th worst country globally when it comes to Christian persecution, according to Open Doors USA’s 2021 World Watch List. The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom has urged the U.S. State Department to label India as a “country of particular concern” for engaging in or tolerating severe religious freedom violations.
Open Doors USA warns that since the ruling Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party took power in 2014, persecution against Christians and other religious minorities has increased. The group reports that “Hindu radicals often attack Christians with little to no consequences.”
“Hindu extremists believe that all Indians should be Hindus and that the country should be rid of Christianity and Islam,” an Open Doors fact sheet on India explains. “They use extensive violence to achieve this goal, particularly targeting Christians from a Hindu background. Christians are accused of following a ‘foreign faith’ and blamed for bad luck in their communities.”
This is further evidence we are in the prophesied last days before Jesus returns first to rapture the Saints and then to return with the Saints to set up His Millennium Kingdom. Time is short and the task is daunting but we know God is in control. Each of us just needs to allow the Holy Spirit to direct our steps so we complete the good works He has assigned for each of us.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
“work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12-13
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,” Titus 2:11-13
