Those turning to Christian faith are not who we might expect – it’s especially older people, the recently widowed, and recently separated or divorced. Sadly, the move is mostly away from Christian identity in outer suburbia and regional areas. However, Australians are still turning to Christianity in large numbers, despite a decline in Christian affiliation. While 85,000 15-24 year olds have moved towards Christianity in the last five years, that’s dramatically down on a decade ago Founder and Principle of McCrindle research, Mark McCrinde, says his report shows a new search for purpose and meaning and asks is “Australia Post Christian or are we now Post Secular?” Plus they compare the findings of the national McCrindle report with the recent Sydney Anglican report on Church attendance. If you’re Australian, it is worth a look. It may help you to pray more wisely for your nation.
POPE LEO’S FIRST PRAYER IS TO MARY
Pope Leo starts his ministry as leader of the Catholic Church with a prayer for special grace to Mary, our God. The translator clearly said, Mary, our God. Did he get it wrong? Maybe he did, but Pope Leo still prayed to Mary, not to our Heavenly Father, who alone can give grace. He also prays to Mary to convert the wicked. This is blasphemy. In this video, Justin Peters looks at every aspect of Pope Leo’s first prayer for the Catholic Church. For me, the fact that it is to Mary makes the Roman Catholic Church a cult.
I have been told that the translator did get it wrong. It should have been Mother of God.
COME TO THE RIVER OF LIFE
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; He utters his voice, the earth melts. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.” Psalms 46:1-7
Psalm 46 opens with chaos overwhelming and destroying stability. But, in a sudden shift, verse 4 takes us somewhere else. Instead of the chaos of raging seas, we see a river – calm, controlled water bringing life to the city of God, where God Himself dwells.
Old Testament readers will instantly think back to the waters of life flowing from Eden, where God originally walked with humanity. New Testament readers will also look forward to Revelation 22, and the river of life passing through the new Eden, lined with trees of life.
The river is God’s life-giving blessing flowing into His city, providing calm amid chaos. He promises that His city will never fall (Psalm 46:5).
How good are the Psalms? We can thank David for many of them, and we will be able to do that in the not-too-distant future. The following two scriptures reveal that in the Millennium, David is a prince among the people, and one of his tasks is to enforce the Feast days.
“I will establish one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them — My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd. And I, the Lord, will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I, the Lord, have spoken.” Ezekiel 34:23-24
“The prince shall own the land on both sides of the holy district and the property of the city… on the west and on the east, corresponding in length to one of the tribal portions, and extending from the western to the eastern boundary of the land. It is to be his property in Israel.” Ezekiel 45:7
HOW EZEKIEL MIRRORS THE END-TIMES PROPHECIES GIVEN IN REVELATION
This is a great end-times sermon from Jonathan Cahn. He shows how Ezekiel gives Israel a prophecy of coming judgement that mirrors the prophecy John provides the world in the book of Revelation. It is remarkable how God has given Jonathan Cahn this ability and empowered him to share it with the world in his many books. I was blown away by what he revealed in his first book, The Harbinger and have therefore purchased most of his other books.
I had the privilege of meeting Jonathan in Jerusalem and sharing with him what God was doing in China with the Gatherings. It is amazing how God orchestrates those meetings. I was staying at the Leonardo Hotel in Jerusalem.. The gatherings are organised by the Watchmen for the Nations organisation. A gathering is unlike a Christian conference where there are set times for worship, keynote speakers and a pre-arranged order of events. A gathering is a call to come and worship the Lord while corporately posturing together to hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. It is a time of gathering the family of God to move according to Jesus’ prayer in John 17 for unity with one another and with Him.
I was ordering an omelette for breakfast when a voice behind me asked, “Could I have one, too?” I looked around, and it was Jonathan Cahn. Out came, “Jonathan Cahn?” and he said, ” That’s right. I then asked if he was here for the Gathering. He said, No, I am here for a time of rest. I have been ill. I returned to my table and asked the Holy Spirit if there was a reason for me meeting Jonathan. The Holy Spirit made it clear that I was to tell him about the Gatherings. I was reluctant to do so as Jonathan was with his wife and two children. I eventually got the courage and went to their table. I apologised for the interruption but told Jonathan that I believed God wanted him to know about the Gathering that was taking place in Jerusalem. He was gracious enough to let me share more. I then told him about Watchmen for the Nations and the purpose of the Gatherings. What turned out to be the “bombshell” was that of the 3000 people at the conference, more than half were Chinese. Jonathan said, No way. He had no concept of what God was doing in China and was astounded that over 1500 Chinese would come to Jerusalem to pray for and support Israel.

REPENTANCE AND SALVATION
What is repentance? Feeling sorrow for our sins. Godly sorrow that leads to life. Turning from all sin. There can be no repentance without totally turning from sin to God. Repentance must come before faith.
As usual, Ray Comfort does a great job in this video of focusing our attention on what it means to become a child of God. A good starting point is Proverbs 9:10.

CHOOSING DEATH OVER LIFE SAYS TRUMP’S PICK FOR NEW SURGEON GENERAL
During an appearance at a U.S. Senate Roundtable on Chronic Disease last year, Dr. Casey Means, Trump’s new pick for Surgeon General, mentioned her education at Stanford University. She contended that the prestigious institution failed to prepare her for the “spiritual crisis” caused by chronic health problems plaguing the U.S.
“I took zero nutrition courses in medical school,” she said. “I learned virtually nothing at Stanford Medical School about the tens of thousands of scientific papers that elucidate [the] root causes of why American health is plummeting.”
In addition to highlighting statistics highlighting a poor prognosis for American public health, she alleged corruption on the part of the organizations widely viewed as valuable resources for combating health problems. “I didn’t learn that 82 percent of independently-funded studies show harm from processed food, while 93 percent of industry-sponsored studies reflect no harm,” she asserted.
“I didn’t learn that 95 percent of the people who created the recent [United States Department of Agriculture] food guidelines for America had significant conflicts of interest with the food industry,” she added. “I didn’t learn that professional organizations that we get our practice guidelines from, like the American Diabetes Association and American Academy of Pediatrics, have taken tens of millions of dollars from Coke, Cadbury, processed food companies and vaccine manufacturers like Moderna.”
“This is a spiritual crisis. We are choosing death over life, we are choosing darkness over light.”
Means called for “a return to courage” as well as a “return to common sense and intuition” and “a return to awe for the sheer miraculous of our lives,” adding: “We need all hands on deck.”
Pray she gets the job. She knows what needs to be done.

TIMELINE FOR THE LAST THREE AND A HALF YEARS
God allows the Antichrist 1260 Days. What is the Timeline of events in those challenging 42 months of the Great Tribulation? Why does God allow this? What are God’s purposes? This amazing Nelson Walters video tracks the Great Tribulation event by event. He reveals that God raptures His Saints before He pours out His wrath upon the earth with the Trumpet (Revelation 8:6) and Bowl judgments (Revelation 16:1). God protects his Saints from judgement, His wrath, but not from tribulation, which purifies His church. The seven seals and the seven churches reveal what God is doing in the last seven years (70 weeks of years – Daniel 9:24) before Jesus returns to earth to defeat the Antichrist at the battle of Armageddon (Revelation 19:11). It is at the sixth seal, at the end of the sixth year that the celestial signs appear in the heavens that precede the rapture (Rev. 6:12-14 and Joel 3:14). Likewise it is the sixth church, the church of Philadelphia that is raptured. It is evident from Scripture that the church of Laodicea is the church that is left behind to face the wrath of God.

CHURCH OF LAODICEA: ” I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realising that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.” Revelation 3:15-19. They still have the opportunity to repent, and I am sure many will. They will be great witnesses for Jesus Christ during the time God pours out His wrath upon the earth for one year and ten days. It is the same time, He poured out His wrath upon the earth with Noah’s Flood.
BRAD USES NEURALINK TO WITNESS FOR JESUS
Neuralink’s third patient, Brad Smith (ALS), is interviewed on YouTube by Farzad. Brad is a Christian, and Neuralink has given him a fantastic opportunity to witness for his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. When I heard his witness, it brought tears to my eyes. It blew me away. Be patient, as it is a reasonable amount of time into the interview before his witness, which stuns Farzad.
ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. No cure is available for it.
This is what Brad had to say when asked what change Neuralink has made to his life.
“First of all, you need to know that I am a child of God who loves me. I have parents and siblings who are amazing and who love me. Tiffany (Brad’s wife) is the best person I know, and we are married for eternity. My kids love me and give me hugs.
