WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID

The phrases “do not be afraid” or “fear not” appear throughout the Bible more than 80 times. Scripture relentlessly emphasises fear and our need to view it correctly — biblically. If this is woven so deeply into the text of God’s word, does that not signal severe significance?

Psychologically, fear hijacks our brains, thrusting us into “fight-or-flight” mode. As our minds scramble to assess the threat, our bodies react with pounding hearts and quickening breath. For some, fear acts like a paralysing fog, dulling our senses until we can barely hear, see, feel, or think straight. Science has exhaustively mapped these mental and physical tolls. But there’s a deeper layer we must confront: What happens to us spiritually when fear takes hold?

These men would not renounce their Christian faith and embrace Islam. They died martyrs.

Just as fear cripples us physically and mentally, it devastates our spiritual vitality. It blinds us to God’s presence, as if a veil covers our eyes. It deafens us to His voice, muffling the whispers of comfort and guidance. Hope slips from our grasp like a fading sensation. Our thoughts? They drift far from our Saviour, lost in the chaos of our own panic. Fear doesn’t just cause us to stumble — it wounds us, cutting deeper than we often dare to admit.

Fear’s hold is devastating when we take our eyes off God and fix them on lesser things. When our gaze is captured by the clamouring woes and suffocating worries of this fallen world, we will inevitably end up in a distracted, vulnerable state.

When fear appears to have conquered, it’s crucial to recall the following Scriptures:

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8:37-39

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.1 John 4:18a

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.1 Peter 5:7

When the weight of our fear begins to feel like too much to bear, we turn to Christ and cast them on Him. The Bible couldn’t be clearer where our hope, rest, and security are found:

When the cares of my heart are many, Your comfort brings me joy Psalm 94:19

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me” Psalm 23:4

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Psalms 118:6

When we know and genuinely believe that our trials cannot sever us from God’s grip, fear loses its power.

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8:38-39

Fear holds no genuine power over those in Christ, and it’s not because of what we have done, what we can do, or who we are. Jesus made it possible for our Heavenly Father to send the Holy Spirit to be our helper, our counsellor, our teacher, our comforter. He lives within our spirit, being the oil that enables us to be the lamp of the Lord, empowering us to live the Christian life.

The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts.Proverbs 20:27

We can persevere because it’s God Himself who grips us fast, vowing with divine certainty to never leave or forsake us.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE MARK OF THE BEAST

17 people have had documented cases of having implants like Mark of the Beast “chips” removed from their bodies after so-called “alien abductions.” Do these implants explain Satan’s overall plan to roll out the Mark of the Beast? These chips were wired into the victim’s nervous systems (like NeuraLink), produced radio signals, and had tech more advanced than today’s science. Watch this Nelson Walters video to discover the best evidence to date for what the Mark of the Beast will be like.

SURVEY REVEALS U.S. CHURCH ATTENDANCE ON THE INCREASE AFTER YEARS OF DECLINE

The church is the last bastion of truth in many communities, as most institutions have been captured by the ideological Left. A recent survey reveals many Americans apparently now recognise the bankruptcy of ideologies pedalled by the Left and are truly searching for truth — truth found in gospel-preaching churches. So long as the church stays committed to God’s revealed truth in His word, the church offers a counter-narrative to much of what the world has sold.

According to research from the Barna Group released earlier this month, weekly church attendance reached a peak in 2009 with a 48% attendance rate among American adults. Since then, it has dropped and remained in the upper 20% range. However, preliminary data from 2025 suggests a potential uptick in weekly church attendance to approximately 32 percent.” Additionally, and perhaps more notably, 65% of the surveyed American adults disagree with the claim that “Church is not relevant in today’s world” — with 41% saying they “definitely disagree” and 24% saying they “somewhat disagree.”

Breaking it down between practicing and non-practicing Christians, 88% of those who are practicing said they either “definitely” or “somewhat” disagreed that church is irrelevant, followed by 67% of non-practicing Christians who “definitely” or “somewhat” disagreed as well.

Beyond attendance, the report highlights the social fabric of churchgoing. As The Christian Post summarised, “A majority of those surveyed (57%) said they talked to clergy before, during or after services. … 53% of churchgoers interact with ‘other attendees’ when going to church. … Exactly one-half of churchgoers (50%) reported they usually talk with a church staff member while at church,” and “one-third (33%) of those surveyed reported usually talking to church volunteers when they go to church.”

As the report emphasised, “These simple interactions represent important entry points for deeper discipleship community and leaders can help congregants consider how to strengthen those moments and take their Sunday engagement a step further.” In a deeper analysis, Family Research Council’s David Closson, the director of the Center for Biblical Worldview, shared with The Washington Stand, “As someone who has been around church for as long as they can remember, and as someone who has worked at and for the church for years, I am encouraged by recent reports that suggest most Americans reject the claim that church is irrelevant.” “As a Christian,” he added, “nothing could be more relevant than the church.” In fact, “Matthew 16 teaches that the church is God’s idea, and Jesus promises that even the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” Closson explained how a glance at what’s taken place over the last few years reveals the “variety of cultural developments that have likely demonstrated the importance of the church to many Americans who may have been disinclined to view the church favourably.”

Especially in the case of the COVID-19 pandemic, Closson observed, “I think many of our friends and neighbours realised that when you shut the doors of the church, you release a host of social pathologies into the community. As such, perhaps “in large response to shutting down the church, many people realise just how important the church actually is.” Beyond this, Closson also pointed to how “the true church is the last institution that has consistently taken a stand against radical ideologies such as LGBT activism and critical race theory. And as long as a church stands on the Bible as authoritative, it is a countercultural influence that testifies to the created order and how God has set up the universe.”

“My hope,” Closson concluded, “is that this report points to a burgeoning revival that will draw more of our friends and neighbours into our churches where they will encounter the living gospel that alone can change their lives and save their souls.”

Sadly, most of the mainline denominational churches have compromised with the world on homosexuality, gay marriage and even transgenderism.

HAS STEPHEN COLBERT’S LIFE BEEN CHANGED BY THIS INTERVIEW WITH KAROLINE LEAVITT?

Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s Press Secretary, is proving to be a major plus for President Trump. The way she handles the media every day is majestic. Watch how she handles Stephen Colbert on the Late Show.

Karoline walked into Colbert’s house… and rearranged the furniture. Total domination! It’s about time someone put Colbert in his place. The conversation was electric! Karoline brought a much-needed perspective and held her own with Colbert, who usually dominates the show. It was an incredible display of strength and conviction.

Will this change Steve Colbert? I have watched his show several times since, and I would have to say that no, it has not.

ISRAEL’S FEAST DAYS PROPHECY THE RETURN OF JESUS

Nelson explains the importance of understanding the Feast Days (Moedim – appointed times) of the Lord. It must be remembered that these are appointments that God established for the Israelites so that they could meet with Him and receive His revelation for their lives. We often call the moedim feasts, which is fine at one level. However, most of the moedim did not originally involve proper feasting on food. For this reason, we should remember that facilitating a revelatory encounter with God was always the central purpose of the moedim, though, thankfully, in some cases, this did involve actual feasting.

God established them for His purposes, not only for His nation Israel but also prophetically. The Spring Feasts prophesied Jesus’ first coming to Earth, and the Fall Feasts will be applicable for His second coming.

Nelson takes it further, will April 9, 2025, transform the earth – forever? What may happen and who may be revealed? What do we cross over that day, never to return? What earth-shaking biblical cross-overs also happened that day? Click here to watch this mind-blowing Nelson Walters video to discover the Tribulation timeline you never knew.

For those of you who want a deeper understanding of the prophetic nature of the Feast Days (Appointed Days), I recommend you get Travis Snow’s book The Biblical Feasts and the Return of Jesus – How the Spring and Fall Feasts will be fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.

IS REVIVAL SPREADING AMONG SECULAR COLLEGE CAMPUSES IN THE USA?

This is the fourth post on revival being reported on college campuses in the USA. This article was originally published at BreakPoint and was published in Christian Post on March 24th, 2025.

Something remarkable is happening on college campuses around the country. This fall, reports emerged of players taking a strong stand for Christ on the Ohio State and Notre Dame football teams. As it turns out, that was only part of the story. About six months ago, a group of churches organized a worship service on Ohio State’s campus with four football team players scheduled to preach. In a crowd of 800, many responded to the Gospel, including most of the team. They were baptized immediately in tubs brought by the four players for that purpose.

Last month, the team worked with an organization called Unite US to hold another evangelistic meeting on campus. This service attracted 6,500 people, with about 2,000 responding to the altar call, many of whom were baptized in tubs brought to campus in U-Hauls, despite the frigid weather.

Reports are also emerging that this good news is spreading beyond Ohio State. Unite US, an organization of students committed to spreading the Gospel on college campuses has been holding evangelistic events across the country over the past couple of years. At Auburn University, 5,000 people attended, and 200 were baptized. At Florida State, 310 people were baptized, and 1,000 responded to the altar call. At the University of Alabama, 260 were baptized. At the University of Tennessee, 8,000 people attended the rally, and 150 were baptized. At the University of Georgia, about 150 were baptized of the hundreds who responded to the invitation. Overall, the total number of students who responded to an invitation to accept Christ numbers in the thousands.

Historically, a failure to properly follow up with those who respond has been the critical weakness of rally-type evangelism. Unite US carefully walks those who respond through the Gospel to make sure they understand what they are doing. They also work closely with local churches to connect converts with local believers and ministries for follow-up and discipling.

In the parable of the sower, Jesus told of the seed sown in rocky soil. After quickly sprouting up, distractions and opposition cause it to wither. Church community and ongoing discipleship is essential for all believers, but especially for young, new ones. At the Florida State Unite US rally, for example, about 800 of the 1,000 students who came forward filled out a card.

Unite US gives credit not to their own work, but to the Holy Spirit and events that are “saturated in prayer” for the success they’ve had so far. They are also not the only organization reporting success in reaching Gen Z, including students on university campuses.

With so much bad news coming from college campuses in recent years, reports of students open to the Gospel and interested in spiritual conversations are encouraging. Whether this is merely a short-lived fad on a few campuses or part of a real kairos moment revival remains to be seen. But we rejoice in what is happening in the hearts of these students, for the testimonies of Christians willing to go public about their faith, for God’s faithfulness to those who call upon Him, and for His Word that never returns void and always accomplishes what He intends.

And we should pray for those who acknowledged their need of Christ, that their conversions would be genuine as He completes the good work in their hearts and minds that He started. We should pray for revival and for those who have committed to work for it, that God would bless these events and their other efforts with fruit that will last.

ARE WE IN THE LAST SEVEN YEARS BEFORE JESUS RETURNS TO EARTH?

Biblical end-times teachers Nelson Walters and Ryan Rego believe we are, and they both present a convincing case that you need to consider.

Will April 9, 2025, transform the earth – forever? What may happen, and who may be revealed?

What do we cross over that day, never to return? What past earth-shaking biblical cross-overs also happened that day? Watch both Nelson’s and Ryan’s mind-blowing videos and decide for yourself whether the Tribulation timeline they present fits with end-times Biblical prophecy.

Nelson and Ryan believe that we entered the last seven years’ tribulation of Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy when the UN entered into a Pact of Peace on Rosh Hashanah, October 2024. The President of the U.N. General Assembly noted that the Pact of Peace wouldlay the foundations for a sustainable, just, and peaceful global order – for all peoples and nations.”

Note the events they say we need to watch for on April 9th 2025, and on the following Feast Days, particularly the meeting of the Arab nations to discuss the future of Gaza and a “Two-State solution”.

Also, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) renewed calls on December 2nd, 2024, for Israel to withdraw from the occupied Palestinian territories in the Middle East. It announced an international summit for June 2-4, 2025, to discuss the potential for a “Two-State solution” in the region.

IS GEN Z TRULY EXPERIENCING A RELIGIOUS REVIVAL?

This post is based on an article by Kevin Brown, the 18th President of Asbury University, in Christian Post on 23/03/2025.

Christianity’s long-documented decline has levelled off. I’ve seen this first-hand with the young adults at Asbury University, where I serve as president. In February 2023, a routine chapel service on the campus led to a 16-day, nonstop worship gathering that brought over 50,000 people to the two-stoplight town of Wilmore, Kentucky. Everything I witnessed during that time ran counter to the prevailing scripts of modern life.

The space was peaceful, unified, apolitical, radically humble, hopeful, and age/class/ethnically diverse. It was nameless and faceless. “No celebrities but Jesus,” we said. I have never seen such deep and penetrating spiritual hunger in my life — a demonstrative ache for a right relationship with God and others. Importantly, though, I saw the “loosened chains” of a younger generation unevenly burdened by the pathologies of modern life (isolationism, digitization, social discord, mental health challenges, and waning institutions). Students from nearly 300 colleges and universities made the trip to Asbury for a transformative spiritual encounter. Their testimonies were raw; unedited.  They embraced strangers like family. They occupied the altar, sometimes for hours. They led, fearlessly. They prayed, zealously. Describing Gen Z, a friend remarked, “They are ready to follow the Jesus whose following is changing the world.”

My Christian higher education colleagues and I are witnessing a trend reversal emerging among Gen Z teens and young adults. In the last few years, we have seen unplanned, over 50,000 college students sing Agnus Dei a Capella at the 2024 Passion Gathering. We have seen a host of revival movements among young adults in 2024, including campuses “pregnant for revival.” Campus ministries are experiencing a spike in spiritual interest.

I (Ron Edwards) have recently written two posts on revival on university campuses: GOD AT WORK ON UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES on 02/03/2025 and 8000 STUDENTS SEEK JESUS IN HUGE KENTUCKY AWAKENING on 04/03/2025, so this article by Kevin Brown was further confirmation that God is doing something new and exciting.

There is encouraging data on Gen Z teens navigating “Digital Babylon,” and younger generations are showing renewed interest in Jesus. Student baptisms — led by students. An international focus on Gen Z and their promise for future ministry. A greater likelihood of church attendance among Gen Z compared to the Boomer generation throughout pockets of Europe, and in the United Kingdom, Gen Z teens are now the least likely generation to call themselves atheists. Describing some of the radical expressions of faith witnessed in our own community by younger generations, my wife made the provocative comment: “Perhaps Gen Z is willing to die because they are already dead.”

Culture is deadening. The scripts handed to younger generations are deadening. The nihilism and malaise of a world optimized around dopamine surges — a “dopamine nation,” as psychiatrist and bestselling author Dr. Anna Lembke puts it — has left Gen Z teens and young adults disoriented and unsettled, no longer “at ease in Zion.” Consistent with data from the Pew’s Religious Landscape Study released in February, younger generations demonstrate religiously oriented sensibilities that attract them to the Christian faith and challenge the status quo.  Christianity’s long-documented decline has levelled off, and we are seeing a resurgence of spiritual commitment among forthcoming generations.

GOD HAS AND IS USING MUSK TO RESTORE AMERICA

The Democratic Party demonstrated that it no longer supports the First Amendment – the constitutional right of freedom of speech. This was the catalyst for Musk’s acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion in late 2022. The revelations of how systematic and structured the censorship really was became clear from the release of the Twitter files.

A free society cannot exist without freedom of speech. And Musk knowingly overpaid for Twitter simply to defend everyone’s constitutional right to freedom of speech. He knows that in the absence of a free society, there will only be a decline.

The threats that half of the users would leave, that Twitter would collapse, and that Musk and his team would fail miserably have been everywhere since the acquisition. But let’s look at the simple facts… Twitter had 229 million monthly active users (MAUs) prior to the acquisition. X now has 600 million monthly active users – an increase of 371 million.

There’s no other way to put it, X is absolutely thriving. It is already one of the greatest turnarounds in history and a representation of what the vast majority of the population wants.

The censorship industrial complex, which opposes freedom of speech, is also why Musk established xAI – his artificial intelligence company that will be the first to achieve artificial general intelligence (AGI).

Musk knows that as these reasoning AIs like OpenAI’s GPT and xAIs Grok become more useful, they will essentially become the operating system for our lives, and for our education. If they are programmed and trained on untruthful information, it would be disastrous for civilization.

That’s why the goal of xAI is to produce an unbiased, “maximum-truth-seeking AI.” Balanced, unbiased, evidence-based, and capable of incredible performance and scientific discoveries.

Pray that Musk’s eyes will be opened to the truth of God’s Word and that he will understand what a good God we have and come to the knowledge of what Jesus Christ accomplished for us with His death on the Cross.

BIBLE SALES ARE SKYROCKETING: WHY?

God’s truth is reaching new eyes, with Bibles reportedly flying off shelves. In fact, Bible sales were up 22% for the year through to the end of last October when compared to the previous year’s sales, according to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ). And here’s why this figure matters. U.S. book sales were up less than 1% during that same period, meaning the Bible’s growth in sales far outpaced what was happening more generally in the print literary space. The WSJ crunched the numbers and found Bible sales increased from 9.7 million in 2019 to 14.2 million in 2023. In the first 10 months of 2024, 13.7 million copies were sold, with still two months left to count. So, why the increase? It seems that chaos and uncertainty in the world, among other factors, could be turning people back to the Lord. “People are experiencing anxiety, and they’re worried for their children and grandchildren,” Jeff Crosby, president of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, told the WSJ. “It’s related to artificial intelligence, wars and rumours of wars, election cycles…and all of that feeds a desire for assurance that we’re going to be OK.”

One bookstore manager told the outlet she’s seeing many first-time buyers come in looking for the Scriptures — people she said are on a quest for “hope.” Young people, in particular, could be looking for answers to some of life’s tough questions, especially as cultural confusion grows. And with new editions and versions of the Bible hitting the market, there are more options than ever for these individuals to engage in Scripture. Some of the other potential reasons for the increase mentioned by the WSJ are celebrities speaking out about faith and influencers on YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms sharing their beliefs with new audiences. As reported in 2023, research backs the idea young people have a growing curiosity about faith. The “State of the Bible 2023” report released at the time did reveal that 44% of Gen Z adults between the ages of 18-26 were either very or extremely curious about Jesus and/or the Bible.

And nearly half of Gen Z said the Bible has transformed their lives. Among older Gen Z adults aged 18-21, 49% reported this transformation, with 52% of those aged 22-26 stating the same. Months later, Dr. John Plake, chief program officer at the American Bible Society, said 21% of Gen Z adults claimed in his organization’s 2024 “State of the Bible” survey — the wave that followed the 2023 data — that “they’ve actually increased their use of the Bible within the last year.” “They’re leaning into the Bible,” Plake said. “They’re really trying to engage in their faith, and they are kind of a bright hope for us as a young generation of American adults.” This fits with my recent posts reporting revivals on university campuses.
