GOD IS MOVING ACROSS EUROPE – IN FRANCE, HUNGARY & ITALY

FRANCE: Praise, prayer, and the Word of God filled the streets of Paris recently as more than 25,000 people participated in the March for Jesus in France. The massive gathering of believers across Paris on May 25th reportedly broke record participation when attendees gathered together under the banner “Let’s bear witness publicly and in unity” about our faith in Jesus Christ.

A coalition of ministries organized the event which took place in Paris and four other cities including Lille, Nantes, Metz, and Strasbourg. The organizers said that the gathering “allowed Christians of all denominations to raise the name of Jesus above their theological differences.” “We opened ourselves to the entire evangelical Protestant spectrum thanks to the participation of several churches such as MLK, Hillsong, ICC, and also Baptist, charismatic, and more traditional Protestant churches. My role, as coordinator is to keep unity and unite around Jesus,” Gilbert Leonian, the pastor in charge of the Paris march said. He also said, “If we are here, it is not for a religion or to promote our church, but because there is someone who has touched us deeply – Jesus,”

HUNGARY & ITALY: Another wave of massive gatherings has taken place across Europe since the Paris March with more than a thousand people making decisions to follow Jesus Christ – this time in Hungary and Italy. International evangelist Jean-Luc Trachsel says “the power of the Lord” moved at two huge conferences in Hungary and Italy as people were saved, healed, and delivered. “Everywhere in Europe there are hungry and thirsty people,” he wrote on social media.  Trachsel is the founder of Jean-Luc Trachsel Ministries which works to “bring unity among Christians and to proclaim the Gospel to this generation with mercy and compassion.” Recently Trachsel delivered a message in Paris, for the “March For Jesus”. Trachsel shared about a worship event called “This is the Day” in Miskolc, Hungary. That stadium can hold more than 15,000 people, and it was filled with souls hungry for God. Trachsel reports 1,300 people gave their lives to Christ.

Trachsel also shared a message on the power of the Holy Spirit at the Apostolic Conference 2024 hosted by the “Apostolic Church in Italy” in Rome. The three-day conference brought together a network of Italian churches with 11,000 members. A massive Protestant gathering like this is seen as unusual in the seat of Roman Catholicism. Trachsel recounts that “miracles and healings” took place at the conference including someone who was born deaf and left the conference able to hear and another person who had “blind twisted eyes” could see normally after receiving prayer.

REALITY CHECK: He added that the greatest “miracle” was the souls saved. Much of Europe has abandoned the Christian faith, embraced secularism, and returned to its pagan roots. The number of European Christians is expected to drop by about 100 million, falling from 553 million in 2010 to 454 million in 2050. Meanwhile, Europe’s Muslim population is expected to increase by 63% in the same time frame. Trachsel said he is seeing the decline firsthand in Switzerland where only 3 to 5% of the seven million people are born-again Christians. I feel the time is coming in Europe when real Christians will have to be underground,” he said

Trachsel is correct, the church in Europe will be underground as it is in China, Iran, and other Muslim countries. We need to take Jesus warning to heart:

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:9-13

PASTOR BAUCHAM PREACHING END TIMES TRUTH

Pastor Voddie T. Baucham warned that the pervasive sexual sins of the prevailing culture are signs of divine judgment, but that the Gospel still offers hope and that American Christians should plead with God for revival while preparing for persecution.

Baucham, who is on leave in the U.S. from his position as Dean of Theology at African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia, preached from Romans 1 during an event last Saturday at Lamar Baptist Church outside Dallas.

Reiterating some of the points in his new book, It’s Not Like Being Black: How Sexual Activists Hijacked the Civil Rights Movement, which was released Tuesday, Baucham noted the irony that he was making his remarks on the first day of pride month, which he referred to as “pride goes before destruction month.”

Noting that the Apostle Paul ultimately spends much of the first chapter of Romans explaining how the wrath of God manifests in the world by giving mankind over to sexual depravity and “a debased mind,” Baucham also observed that Paul lays the foundation of his difficult arguments on the hope and reality of the Gospel.

Starting at Romans 1:16, Baucham read: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘The righteous shall live by faith.'”

“That’s the foundation for all of this,” Baucham said. “That’s our foundation for thinking about all of these issues. We start there. We start with the reality of the Gospel and our need for the Gospel. We start with the reality that the righteous shall live by faith.”

“We are living in a time, in an era when there are people who are desperately wicked, and in desperate need of repentance and faith, in desperate need of the Gospel. And we’re being told that the wickedness is, in fact, the Gospel,” Baucham said.

Baucham noted that such a worldview is destructive because it not only calls good evil and evil good but also “alienates people from the only hope they have.”

Despite the culture’s clarion call for people to embrace the supposed freedom of sexual liberation, he said the evidence suggests that such behavior is enslaving even children at this point.

Lifting up his phone, Baucham added, “We’re giving them to 9- and 10-year-olds. Number one use of the internet is still pornography, and we’re giving unlimited, unfettered access to it to 9- and 10-year-olds in the palm of their hands.”

“So we’ve got a generation of people who’ve been raised with sexual material, who have been raised with libertine views towards sex, who are engaging in sex younger and younger, and we’ve got young people entering into marriage who can’t even enjoy sex anymore, because their ability to enjoy it has nearly been destroyed.”

Baucham further explained that a deeper layer of the destruction includes “willing Christians” who attempt to accommodate the idea of sexual sin as an identity by claiming the Bible failed to understand the complexity of sexual orientation and that dishonorable passions are not actually dishonorable.

Baucham said rampant transgenderism is another consequence of such depravity and went on to warn that the push for pedophilia “is just a matter of time.” He also urged Christians to steel themselves for the last stage of a culture under judgment, which involves the wicked attempting to suppress the truth of God by approving of those who are evil while condemning and trying to silence those who resist.

Baucham concluded his remarks by urging his listeners to pray for revival, but conceded that he cannot personally see any way out of the spiritual darkness into which the culture has plunged itself.

“We’re going to have to pray that God would send revival, because He’s already sent judgment,” Baucham concluded. The wrath of God is here; the judgment of God is here. Plead with Him for His mercy. Plead with Him that all would not be lost.”

Baucham failed to say that God has told us in advance that what is playing out in the world precedes Jesus’ return to restore righteousness. Incredible detail is given by the Old Testament prophets, Jesus in the Olivet Discourse, and Revelation of the events that precede Jesus’ return. The good news is our redemption is close so we need to make sure we like Jesus are saying to God not my will but yours be done each day. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, He has work for you to do if you are in prayer and attentive.

PhD SCIENTIST ON CHEMICAL EVOLUTION

Don Batten interviews professional scientist Dr Royal Truman as reported in Creation Magazine, Volume 46. Issue 3, 2024

Royal Truman has bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and computer science from State University New York, Buffalo, an MBA from the University of Michigan, a PhD in organic chemistry from Michigan State University, plus post-doctoral studies in bioinformatics from the universities of Heidelberg and Mannheim, Germany. He has many professional certifications in such fields as cyber security, supply chain logistics, cloud technology, and project management. He has worked for 40 years for the largest chemical company in the world.

Royal is married to Petra, who worked as a lawyer, and later as a full-time homemaker. They have two grown sons; one has a law degree and the other is working on a PhD in computer science. Raised by missionary parents in Chile, training in North America, and then working in Germany, Dr Truman speaks five languages. He also plays multiple musical instruments and is very artistic (oil and acrylic painting, drawings, ink, and watercolour). He says his home looks like a museum. He trained in several forms of martial arts, attaining a brown belt in a North Korean style of Taekwondo. There is a lake in front of their house in Germany where Royal swims year-round (ice swimming!). He is one interesting guy!

Dr Truman shared, throughout my career, I worked with very clever and conscientious scientists who accepted evolution as a given, although this was not related to their own scientific training. But nothing I learned about evolution made any sense based on my own areas of expertise. But how could such clever people all be wrong? What was I overlooking? To find out, Royal devoted more than 35 years to learning all he could about molecular biology and systems biology. This is the chemistry of the machinery of life (proteins, nucleic acids, etc.). This included taking formal courses in bioinformatics. Such training assisted in analyzing the vast amounts of complex data involved—for example, the human DNA has over 3 billion ‘letters’. Even a relatively simple protein requires hundreds of DNA letters that specify how to make it.

First, Dr Truman had to understand the biological reality that needs explaining. What is it about the simplest living things that needs to be explained? For example, all self-reproducing (‘living’) cells have a set of very complex chemical units called tRNAs (‘transfer RNAs’). There must be at least one unique tRNA for each of the ~20 amino acids that make up proteins.

These tRNAs are essential for the manufacture of all proteins since the cell’s machinery uses them to interpret from the DNA code which amino acid is to be used at each position of a protein. But these are just a small component of the genetic equipment needed! Dr Truman researched the biochemical source of tRNAs and noted that their manufacture was coded for on DNA and they must be extracted by special proteins. But these proteins could only exist if functional tRNAs were already available to help decode instructions for their manufacture. He concluded that tRNAs and proteins could never arise by any natural (evolutionary) process.

Irreducible complexity describes biological systems with multiple interacting parts that would not function if any one of the parts was removed. Dr Truman discovered many examples of ‘irreducible complexity’. These include dozens of ‘molecular machines’, such as polymerases, helicases, isomerases, ribosomes, and ATP synthase. Each of these is a stupendously complex and efficient ‘nano-machine’, f lawlessly repeating indispensable services over and over. But not only is each one irreducibly complex, all these, and much more, must be present together for cells to function, to reproduce. Dr Truman comments, “How are all these multiple irreducibly complex components to come together without a Planner?”

Royal discovered that cells share properties with computers—he published two papers on this. Display footnote number:2 He is uniquely qualified to understand this, having been responsible for several years to identify all new computing technologies (hardware and software) which could someday be applicable to the chemical industry. This underlined again how cells are designed; they could not have come about by a natural (evolutionary) process.

Dr Truman shares how “I quickly discovered that evolutionary explanations were only vague imaginings; there was nothing solid enough to research, and the speculative narratives were easy to disprove.”

The origin of life?

Being a chemist, it was almost inevitable that Royal should examine origin of life (OoL) publications. He read hundreds of chemical publications that tried to explain the OoL and concluded that “all were nothing but wishful thinking.”

For example, thousands of complex proteins are needed for cells to work. However, not one of even the simplest proteins could be created naturally. Some of the problems he noted are: 1. Racemization, 2. Side-chain reactions, 3. Reactions with other chemicals, 4. Wrong proportions of biologically relevant amino acids, 5. Obtaining long chains in water,

If simply obtaining a long, linear random amino acid polymer (i.e., a ‘protein’) isn’t possible, how in the world were thousands of different proteins, each having the correct sequence of amino acids, supposed to have arisen? Natural selection can’t operate until you already have something that makes copies of itself.

According to Dr Truman: Origin of Life research is spinning its wheels. Experiments are designed with a specific goal in mind and the laboratory setup is never plausible; it never mimics something feasible in nature. When chemists such as I evaluate the results, we find them to be inconsistent with the claim that life made itself by natural processes.

Royal noted that there is no feasible path from simple chemicals obtained naturally to a biological cell controlled by DNA-encoded information.

Instead, there is an assumption that ‘life’ can be defined as any process involving some form of chemical replication and then with enough time a cell must inevitably arise. This has nothing to do with science; is it pure speculation with no mechanistic basis.

I have concluded that no chemist ever became an evolutionist because this is what the data showed them. Instead, clever people decided to believe in evolution, and then went about cherry-picking the data to support this notion and ignoring what is inconvenient.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY: SATAN PERVERTS WHAT GOD HAS ORDAINED

The devil takes whatever God has ordained and perverts it so that it is totally corrupted from what was first intended. He perverts

  • Marriage—corrupting this from the true marriage of one man and woman to two men or two women or other perversions.
  • Sexuality—corrupting the created rightful place for sex within marriage for one man and one woman to whatever is right in one’s own eyes.
  • Gender—corrupting this from the created two genders, male and female, to however one wants to define gender.
  • Dominion—corrupting man’s created dominion over the creation to the creation having dominion over man, as seen in the modern climate-change religion.
  • Rainbow—corrupting this from the meaning of the rainbow given by God after the flood to instead be associated with the anti-biblical LGBTQ worldview and other perversions. The ultimate perversion is in the USA where June is celebrated as PRIDE month.
  • Church – churches and church leaders have adopted the devil’s perversion of the rainbow and support the sinful lifestyles of those who reject true marriage as God-created (one man and one woman) and reject God’s created genders for humans (only two: male and female). 

Jesus told us in the Olivet Discourse what the end times will be like before He returns to restore righteousness. His laws and commandments will be rejected, and lawlessness will abound. The USA now celebrates that they are proud of their sin. They are already under God’s judgement and it will only escalate.

USA: A NATION UNDER JUDGEMENT

In the United States, June now brings a more sinister side. The nation celebrates June as “Pride Month.” Desecrated rainbows fill store displays and social media feeds. Sexual deviancy and perversion are celebrated as a virtue. Baseball teams host “Pride nights” at their stadiums. Government buildings are lit up with the colours of the rainbow. The US Navy joins in, changing their entire Twitter avatar and bio to boast of wickedness.

As Christians, we might easily look at June as a month where the darkness has overtaken the light, where godless people brazenly mock God by taking His rainbow and using it to celebrate what He describes as an abomination. But we do well to remember that God in His sovereignty rules over the darkness and that God is not mocked, no matter how vigorously men may try.

While the godless of society take this month to celebrate their ungodliness, we must acknowledge the sovereignty of God in that they label this celebration with a sin that is even worse than the one they are promoting: PRIDE. Proverbs 6:16-17 says, “There are six things which the Lord hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him; Haughty eyes…” Haughty eyes are the visible, outward manifestation of a heart of pride. The Lord hates pride. The Lord says that pride is an abomination to Him. Peter wrote, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (1 Peter 5:5). To celebrate pride is to celebrate what God hates and to put yourself in a position where God is opposed to you. That includes all pride, not just pride in sexual immorality.

When our nation celebrates Pride Month, it is a manifest indication of God’s judgment against us. The reason it is such a clear indication of judgment is not because of the rejoicing in unrighteousness that occurs, although that in itself would qualify, but because this rejoicing in unrighteousness is done under the banner of another sin that God hates, the sin of pride. God’s judgment is manifest in taking those who love sin and doubling their guilt. They no longer are guilty before God for one sin — sexual immorality — but two sins that God hates, as pride becomes their adornment. The judgment of God is manifest when He not only condemns sinners in their sin but aggravates their condition so that they become even more guilty before Him.

We see this throughout all of Scripture. Pharaoh hardened his heart before God, and God hardened Pharaoh’s heart as well. When Pharaoh refused to repent, God hardened his heart to such an extreme that Pharaoh drove his army to their death in the sea (Exodus 14). We see this with Herod in Acts 12. Herod was guilty before God for executing the Apostle James. His unrepentant heart became so hardened that he exalted himself over God, and God executed him for it. When Eli rebuked his sons for their godless behavior, including sexual immorality, “they would not listen to the voice of their father, for the Lord desired to put them to death” (1 Samuel 2:25).

Besides the judgment of God, we also see the sovereign providence of God over all of these events. God is no mere bystander, watching helplessly or disinterestedly as His creatures defy His authority and flout His law. God is intimately involved in ruling His world and reigning over His creation. Part of that sovereign providence is bringing specific and terrifying judgment from which there is no escape. From that vantage point, we can say as Christians that pride month is not merely a manifestation of the wicked heart of man but an indication of the righteous judgment of God. That means as Christians we realize that God is sovereign over pride month and that He has a good purpose in what man means for evil.

A heart of pride might be the most terrifying judgment of all because it is the judgment from which there is no path of escape. The necessary element for salvation is the opposite of pride. God delights in a broken and contrite heart, not a proud countenance. Jesus said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:3-4). The poor in spirit are those who recognize their spiritual poverty, and they are connected with those who mourn because they grieve over their sins. They are not proud, and they do not celebrate what God condemns. Their hearts are broken over their sins, and they are humbled to the dust before a holy and righteous God who judges everyone impartially.

The only way anyone can be saved is by abandoning their pride, their self-reliance, their delight in disobedience to God’s Word, and humbling themselves before the cross of Christ, seeking mercy through faith in His sacrifice for sinners.

God’s judgment becomes clear when the Lord begins to aggravate people’s sinful condition so that one sin begins to pile on top of another. That is what is happening during pride month, and that is why June is for judgment. The USA is a nation already under judgment and with much of the church compromised with the world on gay marriage, LGBTQ, and transgender issues it will also be deceived by the false prophet when the Antichrist comes to power. How foolish, when Jesus’ return is so close first to rapture the Saints but then to pour out His wrath upon an unrepentant world.

The USA church is the church of Laodicea. The church that will be left behind to face the wrath of God.

“‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:15-20

The church of Philadelphia represents the church that is raptured look what God says to it.

“‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name… Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. I am coming soon.” Revelation 3:8, 10-11

WHERE AND HOW QUICKLY A.I. IS IMPACTING OUR WORLD

It also reveals how Taiwan has led and is still leading the way not only with AI but also with Robotics. It is undoubtedly a major reason why China wants to make Taiwan part of China.

Huang shows several videos showing AI and robotics already in use in many industries. It is already happening and the change is fast. It is “mind-blowing”.

From a Biblical prophecy viewpoint knowing that as the world continues to reject God and His morality, chaos and increased lawlessness will engulf the world. Overlay this with the loss of jobs that will result from AI and Robotics and you have a world in turmoil. It is easy to see how this world will embrace the prophesied Satan-empowered Antichrist and his False Prophet. He is offering peace and has miraculous powers.

KNOW HOW YOUR REAL ENEMY OPERATES

This is the fourth post on knowing our enemy: the first was titled SATAN – PRINCE OF THIS WORLD (26/05/2024): Who he was and now is. The second was WHEN DID SATAN REBEL AGAINST GOD? (27/05/2024) The third was ANCIENT SUMERIANS RECORDED THE DIVIDE OF HEAVEN AND EARTH IN ACCORD WITH THE BIBLE (03/06/2024). If you have not read these I suggest you do. It is important we know our enemy. God has revealed all we need to know in His Word, the Bible. Much is given about Satan’s last desperate efforts to maintain control of the Earth before Jesus returns to defeat him and his Antichrist in the battle of Armageddon.

Satan and the fallen angels are without their original glorious-fiery covering, which may have driven their efforts to make Nephilim. We know that God covers Himself with light as with a garment (Psalms 104: 2). God took the fire out of the midst (from inside) of Satan, his anointed cherub (who was fiery per Ezekiel 1: 13) which means he lost his source of power and connection to God and the glory that covered him. “You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your slandering; Therefore I brought fire from your midst, it devoured you.” (Ezekiel 28: 18). Satan and the fallen angels have been left without their original covering, leaving them spiritually naked and with an incredible craving to be covered. The fallen ones’ condition is analogous to Adam and Eve being left naked.

Jesus gives us some insights into the barren and restless feeling a demon experiences when cast out and how he desires to return to the body he possessed: “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. “Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation” (Matthew 12: 43– 45). Apparently, there is great discomfort in being uncovered and not inhabiting a living being. Separated from an earthly body, the demon goes “through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.” Overcome with this gnawing distress, the demon decides it is better to go back to his “house” and possess it once more. We find the same root, meaning “habitation” used to speak of the angels that did not keep their “abode/habitation” in Jude 1: 6. Paul gives us more insight on the idea of a spirit needing a habitation: “For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this, we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked (2 Corinthians 5: 1– 3).

God established the sacrificial system with Israel to temporarily connect with man; God wants to be with us, but with the state of our current bodies, his fiery presence does not allow us to be face to face. Therefore, the blood of the sacrifice makes atonement (a covering) so the worshipper can come near God. Without a “covering”, we cannot approach God; the blood makes atonement. However, atonement is not a moral issue, since even the altar is something for which atonement was needed. “And you shall offer a bull every day as a sin offering for atonement. You shall cleanse the altar when you make atonement (Kafar) for the altar, and sanctify it (Exodus 29: 37). The altar never did anything wrong. It was morally perfect and unblemished, yet it needed to be atoned for. This shows that “covering” is the true underlying meaning. Yet why would an altar need a covering? Simple, because it would come in contact with God Almighty, a consuming fire.

Satan’s food is the life force, the blood; in other words, he feeds on us. People who have gone deep into Satanism talk about the energy the demons receive from the blood of their victims. Thus, with every human sacrifice, every abortion, every war, and every murder, Satan and his kin are recharging their batteries. The more innocent the blood, the more energy is derived. We see the sacrifice of innocent children in Psalm 106 and, Ezekiel 16 and, many other passages.

After the Fall, Satan and those who joined him lost their power and fiery covering and were trapped behind the veil, thereby limiting their influence in the realm of men. To combat this limitation, Satan enacted a plan: He would create human-angel hybrids that would provide them their very own biological suits for their embodiment and incarnation, to be the earthly habitations in which their spirits could dwell and rest. It would be the best of both worlds— all the power, intelligence, and immortality of angels with a biological “tent” for their spirits to inhabit, making them gods in the flesh. Did Satan deceive more angels to rebel against God to mate with the beautiful women on Earth? They would be worshipped as gods if they would mate with women and could create a race in their own image. We know Satan was the one who inspired this dastardly action from a text that was found in a temple on Mt. Hermon on a limestone stele. It may be the only extra-biblical, pagan memorial of Satan’s actual command to the Sons of God to create a hybrid race.

“And the angels who did not keep their proper domain but left their own abode [οἰκητήριον], He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day, as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” (Jude 1: 6– 7). In Enoch, it records: “It happened after the sons of men had multiplied in those days, that daughters were born to them, elegant and beautiful. And when the angels, the sons of heaven, beheld them, they became enamored of them, saying to each other, Come, let us select for ourselves wives from the progeny of men, and let us beget children (1 Enoch 7: 1-2). By persuading angels who are still on God’s team to procreate, Satan solved a logistics problem. Fallen angels appear limited in their ability to freely enter this realm, whereas the good angels can come and go at will.

God was paying attention to the corruption and violence Satan had caused on the Earth by commanding the sons of God to take women and procreate the Nephilim. “God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth” (Genesis 6: 12). God made it clear that all flesh everywhere on the entire planet would die.

“I, Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die” (Genesis 6: 17).

CAPTAIN OF BOEING’S STARLINER BARRY WILMORE A SPEAKER AT ANSWERS IN GENESIS

After several delays, Boeing’s Starliner capsule officially launched its first-ever manned flight from Cape Canaveral, Florida, and is on its way to the International Space Station. Among the crew on board is Captain Barry “Butch” Wilmore, a Christian and a biblical creationist! And Captain Wilmore isn’t just on board—he is commanding this historic flight!

Before Captain Wilmore blasted off, he stopped, wrapped his arms around the support group preparing him for the launch, and prayed with them. His brother also prayed at the “wave by” a few weeks earlier.

The Starliner will orbit earth before arriving at its destination, where the crew will run many tests and Captain Wilmore will complete a spacewalk to do some maintenance on the ISS before returning home. On the return, the capsule will not land in water—instead, a parachute will slow its entry, with airbags landing it in the desert of Arizona. This important flight is designed to test the Starliner and qualify it for use.

As they prepared to leave, Captain Wilmore was telling everyone about Answers in Genesis (AIG), the Ark Encounter, and the Creation Museum and how everyone needs to schedule a visit! Barry Wilmore is a regular speaker at AIG.

Praise the Lord for men like Captain Wilmore, who is very open about his faith and his stand on the truth of God’s Word, beginning in Genesis.

EVIDENCE FOR WORLDWIDE FLOOD OF NOAH’S DAY

Dinosaur fossils show strong evidence that they were formed by Noah’s Flood. A worldwide flood best explains their formation processes, their death postures, and the surrounding sediments.

There are many dinosaur mass graveyards, which show that the rock layers involved were laid down quickly. The bones in them are frequently mixed with marine fossils, showing that something brought the remains of sea and land creatures together.

The ‘dinosaur death pose’, with necks and tails bent backward, is evidence of water submersion around the time of death.

Armoured dinosaur fossils found upside-down indicate that, shortly after death, the carcasses were floating, capsized (heavy side down), and were abruptly buried in that position. Dinosaurs petrified in fighting poses also point to a cataclysmic watery burial. Also, these rock layers are often very wide, even spanning continents. Therefore, the cause of these layers was worldwide.

Enlightment philosophers began to take over the earth sciences beginning in the late 1700’s. They established naturalism as the basis of knowledge. The supernatural was excluded from science. Uniformitarianism became the axiom for earth sciences and creation and Noah’s Flood were relegated to the category: myths and legends. Fortunately in the 1960’s, Drs John Whitcomb (1924-2020) and Henry Morris (1918-2006), as well as many other scientists, began seriously looking to see if scientific obseervations realy did contradict the Bible. They discovered much data supporting the straightforward reading of Scripture, epecially the Creation, Flood, and Babel accounts in Genesis 1-11.

Biblical scientists realise that the assumptions of evolution and creation are based on the scientists worldview and are examples of historical science. Using the Biblical Flood Model they made many exciting discoveries about what the earth was like before the Flood, what the Flood accomplished, and the long-term results of the Flood. A creation scientist would say that the Bible is the key to the past, and they would have a lot of material to back that up. Can I suggest the book Biblical Geology 101 by Michael Oard and Dr Robert Carter. It is an easy to read book with many pictures. You will learn how rocks are formed, how they change over time, and how Noah’s Flood impacted the world.

The beginning of wisdom is to fear God so hopefully the reality of Noah’s Flood when God destroyed all of mankind except one family will make you reconsider your worldview.

ISRAEL BLAMED FOR HAMAS’S STARVATION WARFARE

The Anti-Semites of the World United have blamed Israel for creating the famine conditions they wish to exist in Gaza. “International officials continue to accuse Israel of creating famine conditions in Gaza,” noted Family Research Council Action President Jody Hice, “even as research demonstrates that the root cause of suffering in Gaza is Hamas.”

Israel is allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza faster than aid organizations can distribute it. “The amount of food that is being supplied into Gaza by Israel, by the United States, by the Egyptians, including local production … is sufficient,” Kivetz declared. According to an April analysis he co-wrote with fellow Columbia University professor Awi Federgruin, “290,000 tons of food and beverages have been delivered to Gaza since October,” according to Israel’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), enough to supply each of Gaza’s two million residents with “1.82 pounds of food daily.” Based on U.N. estimates, they added, aid imported through Israel is “enough to supply 50% of Gazans’ daily consumption needs — on top of the food they continue to produce themselves.”

In large part due to the generosity of Israel, the Gaza Strip has not reached catastrophic famine conditions. “Obviously, in a war zone, you will have disruptions of the food supply and so on,” Kivetz granted, but “I don’t think we’ve seen evidence of famine — of widespread starvation, heaven forbid, or famine — in Gaza.”

Yet “that’s the story. That’s the narrative that’s being put out there,” Hice noted. International media and commentators have generated rumors of a famine. So far are these rumors from the truth that, “if you compare the amount of food per capita (per individual) that has been supplied into Gaza, compared to the average food consumption in Asia and Africa … it’s even higher in Gaza,” contended Kivetz.

How can the prevailing narrative be so contrary to the facts? On one level, the only explanation is that Satan, who rules this world as “prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2), is also “a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). On another level, there is a human agent with a vested interest in broadcasting such a false narrative. That party is the terrorist group Hamas, they started the war by murdering Israeli civilians and have conducted the war by abusing Gazan civilians.

“Part of the supply chain problem” is “the chaos in war, but part of it is Hamas,” insisted Kivetz, “which has been hoarding and stealing food, which has been firing at the entry points, in fact killing some Israeli soldiers in some of the entry points where food is being provided.”

“A third-grade student would understand Hamas has an absolute incentive to create stories of famine and starvation and deaths,” Kivetz declared. “The more civilians who die in Gaza, the better off Hamas is because they want Israel to stop. … After conduct[ing] their terrible atrocities, they want to escape this and still remain in power.”

“So Hamas really is incentivized, then, to block food and aid,” Hice responded, “particularly if they can manipulate the media and the U.N. to blame it on Israel.”

In fact, in “the recent decisions by the International Court of Justice [ICJ], [and] the International Criminal Court [ICC] … Hamas is getting what it wants,” speculated Kivetz. ICC prosecutors recently indicted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the preposterous charge of starving Palestinians, while the ICJ on Friday ordered Israel to “immediately halt its military offensive in Rafah” — Hamas’s last remaining stronghold in the Gaza Strip.

These preposterous accusations are fulfilling their intended effect: consolidating international opinion against Israel. Josep Borrell, the European Union’s high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, recently declared, “Starvation is used as a weapon of war. Israel is provoking famine.” The truth is, that Hamas is trying to use starvation as a weapon of war, while Israel is effectively forestalling a famine.

“To your question about who is propagating or creating this story of famine,” Kivetz summarized, “obviously Hamas is interested in that. The U.N. unfortunately, is part of that. They use the data that Hamas is providing. The data [are] wrong.”
