UUNDERSTANDING END TIMES BIBLICAL PROPHECY

If you truly want to know what God is about to do in His world then you need to know that “end times” Biblical prophecies teach Christians will go through a time of tribulation even great tribulation but they will not face the wrath of God that is poured out with the trumpet and bowl judgements. In Philippians, we are told that we will suffer for Jesus’ sake.

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God. For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.Philippians 1:27-30

In this passage, Paul builds on Jesus’s instructions to be fearless in the face of persecution. First, he admonishes us to stand firmly together as a unit. It is this unity in the faith that accomplishes God’s goal: to act as a sign; a sign of our opponents’ coming destruction and our salvation. Standing firm in persecution, a unified Church is living in a manner worthy of the gospel. Earlier Paul states that “to live is Christ, to die is gain” (Phil. 1:21 NASB). If we truly believe that Gospel message, what will we fear? When persecutors see Christians standing in absolute faith that a better life and reward is coming, it is a witness to the persecutors of both their coming judgment and the sure salvation of God. This is God’s battle plan. How many millions of our opponents will see this and be converted by this faithful act of witness?

And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath because he knows that his time is short!Revelation 12:11-12

The Tribulation or 70th Week of Daniel is about to start on this EXACT DAY! And the Book of Daniel supports this timing. Not only does the Bible tells us what day the Tribulation begins but it also tells us the exact day it ends. And both of these days are Feasts of the Lord. Watch this Nelson Walters video to discover what so few understand about the coming 70th Week of Daniel

THE CHURCHES AT THE END OF THE AGE

Are the 7 Letters to the churches of Revelation simply instructions on Christian living or are they a prophecy of churches at the end of the age – a prophecy to the Church of Jesus Christ as it endures and overcomes the 70th Week of Daniel?

The prophecy of 70 Weeks (Shabuim) is the central Biblical proof text to show that a Hebrew man named Yeshua (Jesus) was the expected Messiah who confirmed, fulfilled the O.T. promises of a coming Redeemer.

The 70th week is the final week of the 70 Weeks prophecy. God gives us a lot of information on this final week. He reveals that it is a time of great tribulation for Christians. God refines His church during this time and we are coming to realise now that as many as 50% of so-called Christians are in fact not born again and will fall away during this time of persecution.

Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.Matthew 24:9-14

Back to the seven churches: if it is a prophecy, what do each of the letters to the churches mean? Are these instructions on how to overcome the end times? Watch a complete in-depth analysis of what each letter means.

This study finds the correlation between the 7 Letters to the churches of Revelation and the 7 Seals of Revelation.

When you read the message to the Church of Philadelphia it is obvious that it is the church that is raptured as it is “kept from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens.
“‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name… Because you have kept my word about patient endurance,
I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.Revelation 3:10-11

Whereas the next church, the church of Laodicea is the church that is left behind and why.

And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation. ‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.Revelation 3:15-17

70th WEEK OF DANIEL

Daniel’s prophecy of the “70 Weeks” may be the most important prophecy in the Bible and the most amazing. Its sweeping panorama allowed the wise in ancient Israel to know the exact timing of the arrival of Jesus upon his first coming and His death.

Then, after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.” Dan. 9:25. This part of the prophecy has occurred. The rest of the prophecy provides incredible details about Jesus’s second coming.

This sermon by Jonathan Cahn on Daniel’s 70 weeks is excellent. The only significant difference in my view of this prophecy and Jonathan’s, is the identity of the Antichrist. As most of you already know, I believe the Antichrist will be a Muslim , possibly the Mahdi, the Muslim Messiah and they believe his arrival is imminent.  The people of the prince to come that destroyed the city were not Roman.

This phrase about the coming prince is one of the most controversial passages in the entire Bible!  The Greek perfectly renders this thought. Jesus was going to destroy the city and Temple with the one that is coming. In this case that was Titus, the general of the Roman forces. Jesus destroyed the city using his agents, which just happened to be Titus and his soldiers. After examining a sampling of evidence from both ancient historians as well as the most cutting-edge modern scholarship to date, we may very confidently conclude that the ‘Roman’ soldiers in the Eastern provinces that destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple were in fact Eastern peoples – the inhabitants of Asia Minor, Syria, Arabia and Egypt. The people of the prince to come were from Middle Eastern countries that are now Muslim.
