It happened with Covid 19 and it is happening with Climate Change and it will happen with Finance with “The Great Reset” planned by the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Where does Joe Biden get this rhetoric? “This is code red. The nation and the world are in peril.”
The WEF says, “Climate Change will be sudden and cataclysmic. We need to act fast.” on Jan 19th, 2021.
Patrick Moore says there’s no climate emergency. This isn’t coming from a nut job. It’s coming from the founder of the world’s largest environmental activist organization… It’s coming from a man regarded as one of the world’s most qualified experts on the environment. When asked why he left Greenpeace, he said: Greenpeace was “hijacked” by the political left when they realized there was money and power in the environmental movement.
How come you have not heard about the book called Unsettled: What Climate Science Tells Us, What It Doesn’t, and Why It Matters. written by Steve Koonin. He is not just some crazy conspiracy theorist. He has an MIT doctorate in physics. And he’s the former chief scientist for BP and former Undersecretary for Science at the U.S. Department of Energy. After analyzing all the available science, he called all this climate alarmism “hubris.”
Yes, it’s true that the globe is warming modestly. But it has been warming since about the year 1700. For context, that was 150 years before we were using fossil fuels. And yes, it’s true that humans are having some type of influence. But the why and how aren’t as clear as they want you to believe. And the idea that we’re all going to die is complete BS. Listen to his conclusion:

Many end times Bible Commentators have realized that the WEF proposed 2030 Global Reset could be the lead into the time when the Antichrist takes control and introduces the prophesied Mark of the Beast which everyone will have to take in order to buy and sell. The technology – microchips being inserted into people’s hands is already in use. The WEF elite has realized the control it will give them over people to introduce things that will according to their agenda be good for society as a whole. Bill Gates already has a patented chip that records everything even your medical history and vital signs e.g. blood pressure and heart rate. Imagine the control this would give governments. E.g. if your blood pressure is above a certain reading you would not be able to board a plane.

What is causing the big difference between those that have and those that do not have? New industries are being created at a phenomenal rate. The Law of exponential progress is what is causing the rate of change we see happening in the world today. Computer power is growing at an exponential rate and the cost is going down at an exceptional rate. Look at your digital phone and its computing power. Just look at what Netflix has done to the entertainment industry. Look at what Robotics is doing to all manufacturing and distribution companies. What about Google and information. The incredible rise in Computing power, Robotics, and Artificial intelligence is going to further speed up the loss of jobs in traditional businesses.
Another important understanding is the Network Effect (NE). NE occurs when each new user increases the usage of the service. It is called Positive Feedback Loop. Google is the best example of this network effect. Uber is another good example of the network effect. What about Facebook, it became popular because it was popular.
Many companies will attempt to counteract the operational risks of the next global pandemic by shifting more of their processes to robotic or “smart” machines of some sort, rather than human beings. Jobs will be lost at a phenomenal rate.
YTD September 2022, $29.4 billion of video games were sold in the U.S. – a 23% increase from the same period the previous year. The majority of that increase was in content, but sales of hardware (consoles and accessories) have also seen double-digit increases since the pandemic began. Consumers are buying more consoles, and those who already have consoles are buying more games to play on them. This is what is influencing the minds of our young people; video games whose content is largely violent, and includes aliens. Satan is preparing them for demonic deception. More and more of their time is spent on their phones and less time developing relationships with family and friends.
The stock market is also chaotic: Facebook’s parent company, Meta Platforms; Amazon; Apple; Netflix and Google’s parent company Alphabet were down 26.6% on average to start the year. Meta and Netflix have taken the brunt of that with 45% losses in less than three months. All have recovered significantly since these sudden drops. You can also find plenty of smaller, lesser-known companies with tons of promise that are way down. Palantir Technologies, one of the top data-analytics stocks in the world with tremendous upside potential, plummeted over 40% for the year.
Technochasm on top of the global pandemic is causing chaos that has caused governments to rack up unsustainable debt and move to more control over every facet of people’s lives. Add to it, governments around the world’s inability to manage the transition to clean energy which is resulting in enormous energy and consumables price hikes and shortages. Lawlessness and anarchy are the inevitable outcomes of this chaos.
This is exactly what the Bible tells us will play out prior to Jesus’ return, first to rapture the Saints and then to pour out His wrath on an unrepentant world.
Jesus Foretells Wars, Famines, Pestilences and Persecution “Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences.” Luke 21:11
“And because lawlessnesswill be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:12-13
“Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him… Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Is your church preparing you for what is coming next? Probably not, if they are not preparing you for the increasing persecution that Jesus warned us would escalate prior to His return. The following Scripture is very explicit:
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:9-14
Are you concerned, your unsaved loved ones are facing the coming wrath of God?
You need to be certain God is in control, and if you are available, He will use you to achieve His purposes. Do you believe that with your whole heart and soul? Regardless, it is true. If you do not believe it then get on your knees and repent and commit the rest of your time on His planet to His purposes. If you were born again and received the Holy Spirit then you have been grieving the Holy Spirit and quenching His work in your life. How foolish is that, and yet I have to admit, I have found it easy to let the world, its pleasures, and its concerns, engulf my time. Each morning, as Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane we must say in prayer to our Heavenly Father, “Not my will but yours be done” this day and every day.
“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30
“Do not quench the Spirit.” 1 Thessalonians 5;19
The following verse spoken by David seems appropriate. God requires the discipline of waiting upon Him.
“Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You, I waitall the day.” Psalms 25:4-5
If you ask most people what controls the wind, most people would probably answer it has to do with the relationship between the earth and the sun, temperature, and pressure imbalances. Few people think of God having control over the wind’s cause or its lack thereof.
Yet Revelation 7:1-3 says: “Then I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so they did not blow on the earth or the sea, or even on any tree. And I saw another angel coming up from the east, carrying the seal of the living God. And he shouted to those four angels, who had been given the power to harm land and sea, ‘Wait! Don’t harm the land or the sea or the trees until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants.’”
In this text, the Bible says God employs his angels to restrain the winds to accomplish a specific purpose. The wind belongs to God. The winds are under his control and subordinate to his will. It’s not so much what’s behind the winds and storms; it’s who.
In his commentary on Revelation, William Barclay, the renowned Scottish Bible scholar, says that the Old Testament often pictures the winds as God’s agents employed in his acts of judgment. Here are a few of Barclay’s examples:
“Zechariah has the picture of the chariots of the winds, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth (Zechariah6:1-5). Nahum speaks of the Lord who has his way in the whirlwind and the storm (Nahum 1:3) … The winds are God’s chariots (Jeremiah 4:13). God comes with his chariots like a whirlwind (Isaiah 66:15). [Chariots were utilized for warfare and judgment on one’s enemies.] The wind is the breath of God (Job 37:9, 10). The wind rends the mountains (I Kings 19:11) and withers the grass (Isaiah 40:7, 24) and dries up the stream, the river, and the sea (Nahum 1:4; Psalm 18:15). God’s day [Judgment Day] would be the day of the whirlwind (Amos 1:14). The whirlwind of the Lord goes forth in its fury and falls on the head of the wicked (Jeremiah 23:19; 30:23). The wind of the Lord…will come from the wilderness and destroy the fertility of the land (Hosea 13:15). God will send his four winds upon Elam and scatter the people (Jeremiah 49:36).”
Other passages of Scripture provide a window for looking inside God’s pilothouse, not only for the winds but the weather in general. God can use the weather to either bless or punish. Job 37:11-13 reads: “He loads the clouds with moisture, and they flash with his lightning. The clouds churn about at his direction. They do whatever he commands throughout the earth. He makes these things happen either to punish people or to show his unfailing love.”
Perhaps one of the strongest passages which present the way God uses climate conditions to display his sovereignty is in Haggai.
“You hoped for rich harvests, but they were poor. And when you brought your harvest home, I blew it away. Why? Because my house lies in ruins, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, while all of you are busy building your own fine houses. It’s because of you that the heavens withhold the dew and the earth produces no crops. I have called for a drought on your fields and hills — a drought to wither the grain and grapes and olive trees and all your other crops, a drought to starve you and your livestock and to ruin everything you have worked so hard to get.” Haggai 1:9-11
In God’s economy, angels are also associated with affecting weather patterns. Angels have a ministry concerning the earth. They are linked to winds, fires, storms, and pestilence (Psalm 103:20; 104:4; I Chronicles 21:15, 16, 27). Throughout the book of Revelation, they are connected with fire, hail, blood, a plague of locusts, and the poison of scorpions. At certain times in history, God authorizes and directs them to use their tremendous powers to affect meteorological conditions.
The Bible knows nothing of secondary causes. Barclay concludes: Since Adam and Eve, who were initially placed in a perfect environment, rebelled against God and fell into sin, this universe, this planet, has been negatively impacted.
We live in a fallen world. Nature itself is broken like humanity and doesn’t work correctly, and it can’t until the redemption of humankind is complete (Romans 8:19). Therefore, natural disasters are often simply the result of an ailing earth in convulsion.
Nevertheless, when a nation or nations operate grievously in sin, ignore God, reject his ways, and despise Christ and His people with increasing intensity, it shouldn’t surprise us if he intervenes and sends catastrophic natural calamities to get people’s attention. These extraordinary misfortunes mercifully remind us of who is in control. They are warnings with redemptive messages to be reconciled with our Maker.
In their book, God’s Answer for America, Darrel and Cindy Deville rightly state these environmental conditions are referenced as “global warming” or “climate change.” But the Deville’s point to a more likely cause, arguing: “No matter what they call it, these things are all part of the birthing pains and natural disasters that will increase as Jesus prophesied (Matthew 24:7; Mark 13:8; Luke21:11, 25-26).
These are not ‘global warming’ (or ‘climate change’), but they are part of God’s ‘global warnings’ as signs for these last days. These will continue to increase and shift as the return of Christ gets closer to birth a new age, his millennial reign. We also believe things will be happening and shifting in the days ahead that will cause scientists to be baffled.
Politicians claim we all need to work together to ‘battle climate change,’ but there is nothing they can do to stop it. Like a woman in labor, the contractions will become more frequent and more intense the closer the new birth gets. So, this is not about ‘climate change.’ But the earth is instead preparing for a ‘kingdom change’ – the coming glorious kingdom and reign of Christ on earth (Revelation 11:15)
Dr Jordan B Peterson explains why the goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050 is absolutely preposterous.
Jordan Peterson has taken aim at Anthony Albanese’s “impossible” 2030 and 2050 emissions reduction target as he condemned “power-mad globalist utopians” pushing for drastic climate action.
Peterson criticized the global movement toward net zero emissions before slamming the new Australian Labor Government’s recent move to legislate its climate agenda. He said the “utterly preposterous and inexcusable goal” of net zero by 2050 was both practically and conceptionally unachievable.
Peterson wrote in The Telegraph. “This by the way is a goal identical to that adopted last week by the utterly delusional leaders of Australia,” “Who additionally committed that resource-dependent and productive country to a 43 percent plus decrease – by 2005 standards – in greenhouse gas emission within the impossible timeframe of eight years. “This will devastate Australia.”
The debate raged in the first sitting weeks of the new Parliament and ended with Labor successfully passing its Climate Change Bill through the House of Representatives. The bill will enshrine into legislation the government’s Nationally Determined Contributions to the Paris Agreement of 43 per cent by 2030 and net zero by 2050.
RISE IN CO2 HAS GREENED PLANET EARTH:
Carbon dioxide emissions from industrial society have driven a huge growth in trees and other plants.
A new study says that if the extra green leaves prompted by rising CO2 levels were laid in a carpet, it would cover twice the continental USA. Climate skeptics argue the findings show that the extra CO2 is actually benefiting the planet.
Nic Lewis, an independent scientist often critical of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), told BBC News: “The magnitude of the increase in vegetation appears to be considerably larger than suggested by previous studies.
“It also suggests that projected atmospheric CO2 levels in IPCC scenarios are significantly too high, which implies that global temperature rises projected by IPCC models are also too high, even if the climate is as sensitive to CO2 increases as the models imply.”
And Prof Judith Curry, the former chair of Earth and atmospheric sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology added: “It is inappropriate to dismiss the arguments of the so-called contrarians since their disagreement with the consensus reflects conflicts of values and a preference for the empirical (i.e. what has been observed) versus the hypothetical (i.e. what is projected from climate models).
“These disagreements are at the heart of the public debate on climate change, and these issues should be debated, not dismissed.”
CLIMATE: A CHAOTIC SYSTEM
Dr. Andrew N Edmonds who did his Ph.D. in time series prediction of real-world chaotic systems back in the 90s created a piece of software called ChaosKit to do this analysis. And for a while it had some buzz attached to it, principally in the world of finance, but also climate scientists became interested and sent him data, asking him to run the analysis for them.
One such piece of data was a 500-year sequence of temperatures from Northern Italy. He tried ChaosKit software on it and the results came out as chaotic, with a time to a doubling of error, which agreed with Dr. Peterson’s view that climate was not predictable because the prediction errors “grew like compound interest”.
Dr. Edmonds got given more climate data after that with similar results. Since then, many researchers in Chaos Theory, but not climate change, have performed similar analyses of different aspects of climate with similar results. There is mounting evidence that this is true. For instance: (Boyan H. Petkov, Vito Vitale, Mauro Mazzola, Christian Lanconelli, Angelo Lupi 2015; Gualtiero Badin 2014; R. C. Sreelekshmi, K. Asokan, K. Satheesh Kumar 2012; V. Krishnamurthy 7).
Not only is it true that climate is chaotic, but the Lyapunov time, the time to a doubling of error is so short that it undermines all climate modeling. For instance, if climate scientists can predict next year’s average temperature to an accuracy of +/- 0.1 Deg C, then the best their models can do is +/-0.2, the next year, 0.4 the next, 0.8 the next, 1.6 the year after that. Average world temperatures hover around 2 deg C, so this is an enormous error after only 5 years.
By way of comparison, recent work has shown our universe is chaotic. (Bruce Dorminey 2021) The interactions between the sun and the planets form a complex non-linear dynamic system with feedback. Such systems are often chaotic, but in the case of our universe the Lyapunov time is around 10 million years, so useful to understand some aspects of long-term climate, but not to cause an imminent threat…
Dr Peterson is correct, therefore, in what he says. Dr. Edmonds said, “I’d be fascinated to know where Dr. Peterson first read about this. I first published something about this ten years ago. (Andrew N Edmonds 2011). I’d like to think he saw that. The arguments have not changed since.”
As time has continued the ridiculous predictions in Al Gore’s “An inconvenient truth” have turned out to be an inconvenient reminder of hubris. Unfortunately, ideas have massive momentum. The idea of a predictable climate is firmly embedded in people’s worldview, as is the idea that the trajectory of disease can be predicted. It’s hard for the layman to appreciate that the wonderfully predictable technology that enables me to type this and you to read it exists in the same world as the completely unpredictable and chaotic.
Scientists working in the “soft sciences”, and climate is one of those, have been able to ride on the coattails of the ‘hard sciences’ incredible accuracy.
In the end, this will undermine science itself, and those in the hard sciences will have to do something about it. Already the politicization of science caused by climate change has started to undermine other branches of science.
Dr. Edmonds believes that ultimately scientists will have to reject some of the wilder excesses of model-based predictions. In the social sciences, journals now reject papers based on small samples and poor analysis. He states, “Climate journals ought to ask for a thorough analysis of all sources of error in predictions, including the elusive but vital “model error”. If we actually knew the error bars on some of the wild predictions of doom that make their way into the newspapers, it’s unlikely we would give them any credence.”

The Pope and his inter-faith group of Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, etc. are going to Mt Sinai to add to the commandments. What commandments? During the United Nation’s Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 27), between November 6th and 18th, the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development is putting on an “interfaith climate event” at Mt. Sinai described as a “heart-stirring, transformative and a moment of inspiration for religious communities and for humanity.”
Mt. Sinai was purposely chosen by U.N. event organizers because ” As an ancient sacred space, it was the site of prophetic experience, and receiving God’s message, for the prophets Moses and Elijah in all three Abrahamic traditions, and the prophet Muhammed in the Muslim tradition.”
Bringing together representatives from Christianity, Progressive Christian Mysticism, Judaism, Islam, Buddhists, and Hindus there is no world in which these interfaith prayer events are anything but blasphemous petitions to a Holy God.
The fact that these false prophets are actually going to the Biblical Historical Sites should tell non-believers that The Word of God is REAL!!! and its end times prophecies will play out exactly as told. The devil always has to create a counterfeit version of everything God made! Jesus is the only one who can put things right. Climate is controlled by the Greenhouse effect. Is this correct? No, it is not and you will come to understand how futile the climate change catastrophe narrative is and how we have got to this crazy state with 97% of scientists agreeing with global warming. Administrative hyper-invasion of the technical schools is having a major impact. Also, many scientists would agree that increases in CO2 greenhouse effects are occurring, but would not agree there are tipping points that will result in catastrophic disasters.
Richard Lindzen is a dynamical meteorologist. He has contributed to the development of theories for the Hadley Circulation, hydrodynamic instability theory, internal gravity waves, atmospheric tides, and the quasi-biennial oscillation of the stratosphere. His current research is focused on climate sensitivity, the role of cirrus clouds in climate, and the determination of the tropics-to-pole temperature difference. He has attained multiple degrees from Harvard University, and won multiple awards in his field of study such as the Jule Charney award for “highly significant research in the atmospheric sciences”. Between 1983 and 2013, he was the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at MIT where he earned emeritus status in July of 2013.
Concerning climate change, Martyn Isles of Australian Christian Lobby reminds us of the following scripture.
‘The Lord said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”‘ Genesis 8:20-22
“As a first principle, the earth was made to be filled by us. It was made to resource that enterprise. The resources of the earth are given to us to use toward that end. It is not wrong to use the many resources God has placed within and on the earth.
As for the earth’s climate, it is *ultimately* controlled by God. His guarantee is that seasons and temperatures will be held within certain parameters which He ordains over the entire life of the earth – as long as it remains.
“He promises that food will be grown; that seasons will take place; that the weather will be both cold and hot …
“Whatever the temporal variations may be, the long-term guarantee is that God is in control for our good. That’s what the rainbow reminds us of.
“Take God out of the picture, and anxiety about those things which are above our pay grade gets out of control. That includes the weather.
“We get to “tend” and “keep” the garden (so by all means compost and recycle and whatnot – this is not a license to be reckless or to pillage), but we don’t control its ultimate paradigm.
“We are the creatures. He is the Creator. The reversal of that order is one of the timeless sins of the human race.
The scriptural statements on these matters (which actually make sense of the observable realities) are seldom invoked even by Christian leaders – probably for fear of being considered foolish.
“God’s words are good enough for me.” Also, God has told us the end of the story for this planet – Jesus returns to rule and reign for 1000 years and then the end will come.

The Bureau of Meteorology and the CSIRO have delivered their biennial dose of depression about the climate, but their report ignores a slew of positive environmental changes. Article by PETER RIDD in The Weekend Australian Sunday 27th November 2022.
The latest report should ring alarm bells – but not just about climate. Is this an excellent tool of propaganda, or is it a scientific statement?
The climate has warmed by 1.5C and there is barely a single benefit according to climate change experts – but is it all disaster?
It is often said, “if it is too good to be true, it probably is” and you are being conned. What about too bad to be true? Can a gently warming climate have no significant benefits at all? The only marginally encouraging part of the report is about northern Australia. There might have been a slight reduction in cyclone numbers, and there has been a bit more rain in recent decades.
Apart from that, the report reads like the Book of Exodus – one disaster after another. Only the frogs and boils are missing. But it is significant that the period when Egyptians were building pyramids, which was hotter than today’s climate, is often called the Holocene Climatic Optimum. The word “optimum” was an indication that scientists working in the era before climate alarmism could see some advantage of a warmer climate.
A sure sign that the report tries too hard to find disaster is when it discusses coral bleaching and the Great Barrier Reef. It stresses that there have been four bleaching events in the past six years, which it implies were devastating. But for some reason, the report fails to mention that this year the reef recorded its highest amount of coral since records began in 1985.
This proves that all the hype about coral loss from bleaching was greatly exaggerated. But the report writers were obviously untroubled by the contradictory evidence. They ignored it.
The northern and central Great Barrier Reef have recorded their highest amount of coral cover since the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) began monitoring 36 years ago.
And they also ignore the fact that corals grow about 15 percent faster for every degree temperature rise, and that almost all the corals on the reef also live in much warmer water near the equator. We should expect better coral, and it should extend further south. That is not too bad, is it?
Why doesn’t the report mention that the extra CO2 in the atmosphere improves the water utilization efficiency of dryland plants, which occupy most of Australia, and that this has caused plants to thrive? According to NASA satellites, there is a “greening” of Australia of at least 10 percent. Overall, the world has seen the area of green leaves expand by the equivalent of twice the area of the United States in just 35 years.
In a changing climate, there will be winners and losers, and it might be that the net effect is a major problem. But if the report writers will not even mention the good bits, how can we have any confidence in its findings?
We should all worry about whether groupthink has taken hold of the BOM and CSIRO.
We should worry when the BOM says it has recently adjusted all the temperature records reducing the temperatures a century ago by up to a degree. Can we have any confidence they did this with good scientific reason?
And we should worry about the BOM’s claims that the fire seasons are now much worse than in 1950. Why is all the information on huge bushfires before 1950 ignored – like the devastating 1851 Victorian bushfire and the 1939 fires? It is not like there is no data before 1950.
Did they ignore that data for a good reason? Is this similar to the US fire statistics, which are often reported by authorities as having a major increase in fire acreage burnt since the early 60s, but fail to mention that there was almost 10 times more acreage burnt in the “dust-bowl” period in the 1930s?
In the next decades, Australian governments plan to spend hundreds of billions attempting to prevent climate change. Before we do that, maybe we could spend a few million doing an audit of BOM and CSIRO reports.
Maybe we would find that adapting to a changing climate is by far the best way to proceed. We might even find that some of what we have been told is wrong.
Why will the conservative parties not commit to an audit? Who would argue against a bit of checking of the science, when the Great Barrier Reef statistics prove scientists got something badly wrong?
And the latest report is a sure sign that the BOM and CSIRO are drifting into political advocacy rather than science, observation, and objective prediction.

The ruling class had its big climate summit in Egypt called COP27; they flew in on their private jets and ate expensive steak, while their ideas for the rest of us include travel restrictions, taxes on cow farts, and eating bugs and weeds. You just can’t make up this level of incompetence and hypocrisy.
Hosting more than 100 Heads of State and Governments, the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), took place in the Egyptian coastal city of Sharm el-Sheikh from 6 to 20 November. It concluded with a historic decision to establish and operationalize a loss and damage fund.
Momentum towards climate regulation is only picking up speed. And it doesn’t look like there’s anything on the horizon to stop it.
It would at least be somewhat digestible if their ideas were actually sensible. But instead, their ‘solutions’ are borderline insane.
They spent an entire day at COP27 talking about gender identity as if that has something to do with the climate. They obsessed over incredibly inefficient sources of energy (like corn-based ethanol, which has soundly been proven to be one of the WORST and most INEFFICIENT forms of energy). But was there any discussion at COP27 about nuclear power? None.
Just look at this statistic: matching the energy value of just two months’ worth of natural gas that Europe consumes would require building $40 trillion worth of batteries. Something that would take all the world’s battery factories a combined 400 years to produce! Despite this reality, politicians are smothering the fossil fuel industry and spending absurd amounts of cash on “green energy.”
And that makes it really difficult to take these people seriously. They reject good ideas. And they keep coming up with bad ideas… which ultimately means less efficiency, more taxes, and more regulations.
It’s only a matter of time, for example, before many developed countries require airline passengers to buy carbon offsets when they travel… which will eventually be built into ticket prices. And we could easily see carbon taxes on gasoline, heating, and electricity.
Fortunately, Christians know that we are in the prophesied “end times” and that Jesus Christ’s return is not too far in the future. God’s Word tells us how this insanity ends, and whilst we endure increasing persecution/tribulation and in fact, part of the time the Antichrist dominates world events, we know that the Holy Spirit dwells in us and that we will be able to endure all that Satan throws at us, and that our efforts during this time of tribulation will bring glory to God and bear good fruit. Note how in control God is as these events unfold. God sends a strong delusion to those that reject the truth about God and His Son.
“Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him,.. Let no one deceive you in any way. Australia’s Great Barrier Reef (GBR) is doing well, in fact great. But the popular media won’t report this good news, but here is what a knowledgeable expert on the reef has to say. Dr. Peter Ridd a geophysicist, physical oceanographer, and inventor — has worked on the Great Barrier Reef since 1984 and has written over 100 scientific publications. Now an adjunct fellow at The Institute of Public Affairs, he was fired in 2018 from teaching at Australia’s James Cook University after criticizing exaggerations about reef damage. Dr. Ridd is also a member of the CO2 Coalition of Arlington, Virginia.
The Great Barrier Reef is made up of approximately 3,000 reefs covering an area nearly the size of California off Australia’s eastern coast. The condition of its coral is frequently referenced as an indicator of the reef’s health, regularly in the context of the supposed damage global warming is doing to the planet.
The reef now has more coral than any time since records began in 1986, according to the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS). There is roughly 20 percent more coral on the GBR than last year, which itself equaled a previous record year. All three major regions of the reef now have excellent coral cover and AIMS states that two regions are at record-breaking high levels.
As of the latest 2022 survey of the GBR, coral covered 34 percent of the seabed, double the lowest coverage recorded in 2012. There are many types of ecosystems on reefs other than coral – 34% is a remarkably high number.
This coral health exists despite four supposedly massively destructive and unprecedented bleaching events striking parts of the reef since 2016 – all allegedly due to climate change and one as recently as this year. Coral reefs typically take five to 10 years to recover from major damage, so how can GBR be enjoying such good health this soon? Is it possible that reef-science institutions exaggerated the damage in the first place to advance the global warming narrative? Perhaps.
However, 36 years of AIMS data show that large amounts of coral occasionally die — usually from cyclones, hot-water bleaching, or starfish plagues — but that recovery is often fast. For example, the Cooktown region suffered a moderate coral loss after a 2016 bleaching event but had recovered by 2021. By far, the biggest loss of coral was after Cyclone Hamish smashed the southern half of the reef in 2009. Recovery was largely complete by 2016.
These marine events, which have been going on for millennia, are akin to terrestrial bushfires from which the land quickly recuperates. However, untrustworthy institutions of science and other climate alarmists use them to foster hysteria over a climate that has vacillated between warmth and cold for as long as they have been observed.
These same purveyors of hyperbole then ignore or downplay news of the reef’s convalescence. For example, last year’s good news of coral coverage matching previous records was dismissed by claims that only the fast-growing coral had recovered. Poppycock! It is these species — staghorn and plate coral — that are most delicate and susceptible to damage and most obvious in their recovery.

The exceptional news this year is that almost every region of the reef is doing extremely well. For so much of the reef’s coral to be this healthy at the same time is very unusual. Normally, a large chunk of the reef is recovering from a major cyclone that drags down the average. So when the reef’s overall coverage is at today’s level of more than thirty percent of the area, the GBR’s health is indeed good.
This overall health is only apparent if the condition of the entire reef is reported. For whatever reason, AIMS stopped in 2017 averaging regional data to provide a composite view of the reef’s condition. I had to do that calculation for recent years myself to get a complete picture. Is this another instance of obscuring positive data?
Those who would play down the news of exceptional reef health should consider the unnecessary emotional damage being inflicted on children worried about their future. Elementary school students in America speak of their premature demise because of a faux climate emergency. A 2019 Australian survey reported that “around half of the residents, tourists and tourist operators surveyed, and almost one-quarter of fishers, report significant Reef Grief.”
