Dr. Michael Weis uses five main texts (Daniel 9:24-27, Matthew 24:15-31, Joel 2:30-32, 1 Thessalonians 4:13–5:11, Revelation 6:12-17) to systematically build the case for the Pre-Wrath Rapture position, while giving us the tools to explain it to others. Even if you don’t embrace this view, you need to know what those who hold to it believe. Learn how to tell others about the Pre-Wrath Rapture in the Studio Elective, “An Easy Way to Explain the Pre-Wrath Rapture Position.”
As those who follow my blog will know I support the PreWrath rapture position and I am pleasantly surprised now at the number of Biblical scholars that are posting on PreWrath. Dr Weis does a good job of covering all the relevant Scriptures.
Biblical end-times teachers Nelson Walters and Ryan Rego believe we are, and they both present a convincing case that you need to consider.
Will April 9, 2025, transform the earth – forever? What may happen, and who may be revealed?
What do we cross over that day, never to return? What past earth-shaking biblical cross-overs also happened that day? Watch both Nelson’s and Ryan’s mind-blowing videos and decide for yourself whether the Tribulation timeline they present fits with end-times Biblical prophecy.
Nelson and Ryan believe that we entered the last seven years’ tribulation of Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy when the UN entered into a Pact of Peace on Rosh Hashanah, October 2024. The President of the U.N. General Assembly noted that the Pact of Peacewould “lay the foundations for a sustainable, just, and peaceful global order – for all peoples and nations.”
Note the events they say we need to watch for on April 9th 2025, and on the following Feast Days, particularly the meeting of the Arab nations to discuss the future of Gaza and a “Two-State solution”.
Also, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) renewed calls on December 2nd, 2024, for Israel to withdraw from the occupied Palestinian territories in the Middle East. It announced an international summit for June 2-4, 2025, to discuss the potential for a “Two-State solution” in the region.
The 9th of Av (the fifth month on the Jewish calendar—-July/August on the Gregorian calendar) is one of the darkest days of enormous historic importance to the Jews.
The events in history that occurred on the 9th of Av prove that God is in control of history: 1. The ten spies sent by Moses encouraged the Israelites not to enter the promised land. 2. The walls of Jerusalem were breached during the Babylonian invasion of Jerusalem. 3. The destruction of the First Temple in 586 BC. 4. The destruction of the Second Temple in AD 70. 5. The expulsion of Jews from England in 1290. 6. The expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1490. 7. The 9th of November is remembered as Kristallnacht, when Nazi thugs attacked Jewish shops, homes and synagogues across Germany and Austria. Historians point to it as the beginning of the use of violence against the Jews by the Nazis and marks the start of the Holocaust.
In the future, events during the 70th Week of Daniel may also have significant events fulfilled on Jewish historic dates. The 70th week of Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy (Daniel 9:24-27) is the last seven years before Jesus returns first to raise the dead in Christ and then rapture the Saints that are alive before pouring out His wrath upon the unrepentant with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements. Jesus then returns to Earth with some of the resurrected Saints to save Israel and destroy the Antichrist and False Prophet and his army at the battle of Armageddon. Jesus will then usher in His Millennial Kingdom (www.millennialkingdom.net).
A case can be made that the 7 Sealed Scroll will be opened on the Feasts of the Lord. All the Spring Feasts predicted Jesus’s First coming, so it is reasonable to assume that the Fall Feasts will predict His second coming. The Resurrection and Rapture will occur on Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets) (which occurs at the Seventh Seal), which is one of the seven Feasts of the Lord, or appointed times, in the Fall. The end of the 70th Week of Daniel) will happen on Yom Kippur, which will occur at the end of the seventh year. Let’s investigate the possibility that all the other seals will be opened on Feast days as well during each of the seven years of the 70th Week. If the 70th Week of Daniel begins exactly seven years before its completion (on Yom Kippur of the Seventh Year), that means that the 70th Week will also begin on a Yom Kippur—-the Yom Kippur at the very start
If the seven seals truly are opened chronologically on each of the seven Feasts of the Lord, and if the First Seal is opened on Yom Kippur of the First Year, then all the seals could be opened in successive chronologic order in each of the seven years and end with the Seventh Seal opened on Yom Teruah of the Sixth Year, which we already know is its proper date of fulfillment. It is really quite amazing how the events happening in each of the seven years align with the events and symbols of the seven Feasts of the Lord. This further indicates that God has ordained significant happenings to occur at the appointed times of the Feast days and shows his omnipotent hand.
I have just discovered John Bevere’s teaching on the end times. I have posted many videos by Nelson Walters, Jonathan Cahn, and others on the end times, but it is always good to find somebody new preaching a Biblically based message.
In this episode, John and his son, Arden Bevere, explore Jesus’ second coming, proving through Scripture that we are in the generation of the end. They unpack prophetic signs, the dangers of deception, and the importance of enduring with a love for truth. This conversation also dives into Daniel’s 70 Weeks prophecy and how it connects to Jesus’ first and second coming. Don’t miss this eye-opening episode that will deepen your understanding of the end times and strengthen your faith!
Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy is one of the most fascinating, powerful, majestic, and amazing prophecies of the Messiah – Jonathan Cahn opens up the mysterious Seventy Sevens of Daniel, the exact mathematical countdown to the coming of Messiah, and some surprising revelations hidden in the original language. Jonathan’s presentation is the best explanation of this amazing prophecy I have ever heard. The exact timing is a countdown of the Messiah’s coming given to Daniel. Proof the Bible is God’s Word to mankind. It provides the only true history of the Cosmos and its proof is fulfilled prophecy.
Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy gives the Jews a timeline from their return from Babylonian captivity until a time of everlasting righteousness in relation to their Messiah and His time on this earth. It even reveals their Messiah will be cut off (killed) and Jerusalem destroyed. Likewise, Isaiah reveals a Messiah who is a suffering servant on whom God “has laid on him the iniquity of us all“. The Jews have this information of a first and second coming of their Messiah in their Torah so how come they reject Jesus. The video testimony by Dennis Karp is revealing.
Isaiah Prophecy
“Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds, we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:4-6
The Seventy Weeks Prophecy
“Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place. Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end, there shall be war. Desolations are decreed. And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.” Daniel 9:24-27
When Dennis’ coworker invited him to a Messiah in the Passover presentation, he accepted with the goal of proving the speaker wrong—but Dennis was not prepared for what he would hear!
The Seventy Weeks Prophecy of Daniel proves the Messiahship of Jesus. Those of us who believe in Him should recognize the profound degree to which the 70-weeks prophecy both verifies his Messianic credentials, and bears witness to the supernatural foreknowledge, sovereignty, and omniscience of God. Over 500 years before it happened, God told us when the Messiah would come, the first time with incredible accuracy and that He would come a second time. Purposefully there is a gap between the 69th week and the 70th week of the prophecy of an indeterminate time period. Remember, Daniel was told by the angel Gabriel, “Go your way Daniel, for the words, are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.” Daniel 12:9
There is no doubt God used Daniel to encourage the exiled Jews by revealing God’s sovereign program for Israel during and after the gentile domination. The “Times of the Gentiles” began with the Babylonian captivity, and Israel will suffer under gentile powers for many years. But God reveals that this period will end and the time will come when God establishes His messianic kingdom on this earth.
“They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4-6
Daniel repeatedly emphasizes the sovereignty and power of God over human affairs.
“The Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom He will. Daniel 4:25
The God who directs the forces of history has not deserted His people. They must continue to trust in Him because His promises of preservation and ultimate restoration are as sure as the coming of their Messiah.
The Seventy WeeksProphecy
Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war.
Desolations are decreed. And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”Daniel 9:24;27
The Book of Revelation is God’s revelation to us of the time immediately preceding His second coming to first rapture His Saints, to pour out His wrath upon an unrepentant world and then to return to earth with the resurrected Saints to conquer the Antichrist and His forces and implement His Millennial reign. Revelation effectively unlocks “the words of Daniel that were closed up and sealed until the time of the end”.
Remember that Jesus specifically refers the disciples back to Daniel when He was answering their questions about the “end of the age” and His second coming.
“So when you see the abomination of desolation (Antichrist) spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.Matthew 24:15
Maranatha Movement is about encouraging and challenging us to live out our lives as Christ calls us to live in these last days. We need to live lives that will bring great reward throughout eternity.
Daniel 9 has two sections 1. 70 years Babylonian captivity which is coming to an end and 2. 70 weeks – future events. Dalton explains how significant Daniel 9 is to understanding Biblical eschatology (end times prophecies), the events that are unfolding in our day. Daniel was living at the end of the Babylonian captivity and we are living at the time of the start of the 70 weeks – prophesied future events. Dalton will challenge you about how you are living your life now in relation to the events that are unfolding in our time. Are you going to be a shining star and earn eternal rewards? I hope I have given you sufficient that you want to spend time with Dalton in Daniel 9.
The Bible tells us that in the “last days” before Jesus returns to rule and reign from Jerusalem, Israel will enter into a peace plan that ushers in a time of false security. This prophecy is in Daniel, the amazing 70 Weeks prophecy, which accurately predicted Jesus first coming so we need to take note of what it says about the last seven years (70th week) prior to His second coming.
“Then he (Antichrist) shall confirm a covenant with many (Israel) for one week (70th week = last 7 years); but in the middle of the week, he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering (in the rebuilt temple). And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation (wrath of God), which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.”Daniel 9:27
When the disciples asked Jesus ” “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” Matthew 24:3
“Jesus told them “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation (Antichrist), spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand),then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains… for there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, mo, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened (Rapture of the saints).”Matthew 24:21-22
Israel will enter a pact with the Antichrist (a Covenant with Death). They will trust Antichrist rather than the Most High.
Is President Donald Trump’s soon to be released Peace Pact which has been labelled “Deal of the Century” the one referred in Daniel.
Certainly not, Trump is not the Antichrist and only a Peace Pact put together by a Muslim leader will be accepted by its hostile Muslim neighbours. The long awaited Muslim Mahdi, whose appearance is imminent according to both Shia and Sunni leaders, could he be the Antichrist of Scripture? I think so, as do many end times scholars. Check out Joel Richardson’s best selling book The Islamic Antichrist.
The Palestinians have boycotted the Trump administration for two years and announced they will reject the much-trumpeted deal, despite their apparent lack of knowledge regarding its contents.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Washington Sunday night vowing to “make history” at a planned meeting with Trump for the unveiling of the deal.
The ISIS terror group disseminated an audio message Monday claiming it would attack Israel on the eve of the White House’s release of their Mideast peace plan.
The ISIS audio comes at a time when the terror group has suffered major defeats over the past year including the assassination of its leader and founder, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, in a U.S. attack in northwestern Syria.
Jonathan Cahn does a great job of showing how God has been in control of nations down through history. How each nation deals with God’s nation, Israel, determines its fate – bless Israel and the nation is blessed, curse Israel and the nation is cursed.
The book of Joshua is a brutally stark reminder that God is ultimately judge of all the nations. God leveraged Israelites as His instrument of judgement on the nations of that land for their sins, just as hundreds of years later God would leverage the Babylonians to pass judgement on the nation of Judah for its sins. God is sovereign judge over all the nations.
Read what Job said about God controlling nations:
“He makes nations great, and destroys them; He enlarges nations, and guides them. He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, and makes them wander in a pathless wilderness. They grope in the dark without light, and He makes them stagger like a drunken man.” Job 14:23-25
In the last days, before Jesus returns to rule and reign on a restored earth, God says He will gather the Jewish people back to their land. He did this in part in 1948 and then gave them back Jerusalem in the Jubilee year 1967. We can be sure all of the rest of the end times biblical prophecies will unfold exactly as given.
Anyone interested in what God is doing and will do in the years ahead need to listen to Jonathan expound the relevant “end times” scriptures.
The only disagreement I have with Jonathan is on the identity of the Antichrist. Jonathan says, he will be a Roman, based on Daniel 9:26-27. I believe he will be from the Middle East, the long awaited Muslim Mahdi. In Daniel 9:26-27, we see that it is the people of the ruler shall destroy Jerusalem. The people groups that made up the four legions that Titus led were the ancient enemies of the Jewish people, from lands that surrounded Judea.
“And the people of the prince (ruler) who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war, desolations are determined. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.” Daniel 9:26-27
