WE NEED MORE ISRAEL FOLAU’S : COURAGEOUS FOR CHRIST

Thank goodness for articles like this one from Alan Jones in THE AUSTRALIAN.

“The issue around Folau is really quite simple. You either believe in God or you don’t. You are either a Christian or you are not.

But if you are a Christian, or claim to be a Christian and you do believe in heaven and hell, and the word of Jesus Christ, then you should be living according to God’s word.

Or are some people pretending to be Christians and picking and choosing which doctrines they will adhere to?

If you are a Christian, what Folau posted is truth. You might think it is out of date or not relevant or not contemporary, but a committed Christian believes in that so could not in any way be offended.

And if you are not a Christian, then there is no such thing as hell. So what is the kerfuffle?

Thank goodness for social media.

As I have said, it is clear Rugby Australia either can’t read or do not care about their constituency, or both. Or are they comforted by the fact that everyone on the payroll has toed the party line.

How extraordinary that not one single person on the payroll of Rugby Australia has dared to step out of line and say simply that this Folau issue is a heap of crock.

I was asked to write two pieces for The Australian last week. It is a matter of public record that they were viewed by more than 2.3 million people on my Facebook page. There were more than 10,000 individual comments.

On The Australian’s website, where you can only comment if you are a subscriber, there were 1900 further individual comments.

The overwhelming majority of these comments support Folau and his right to basic freedoms.

Rugby Australia argue that one of their values is “inclusiveness”, but they don’t want to “include” Folau; more importantly, they obviously don’t want to “include” the supporters of the game.

There is a golden rule in life. When you are digging a hole for yourself and getting deeper and deeper into trouble, it is a good idea to stop digging.

Yet here are Rugby Australia, on the wrong side of their constituency on almost every other issue, now isolating thousands of fans by prosecuting Folau for expressing his religious beliefs. The public comments are telling:

Carolyn: “Thank you Alan for such a well-written article. May God richly bless you for standing up and supporting this young man and the right of all Christians to share our faith.”

That is a touch indulgent, but Carolyn is surely entitled to her view.

Or, when Rugby talks “diversity”, does it really mean “uniformity”?

Fred: “If they drop Folau, I’ll drop rugby. No support, no going to games, no watching it on TV.”

Susan: “This is discrimination and humiliation of an individual on the basis of his religious beliefs. The only victim here is Israel Folau.”

Adam: “I spend $1500 a year on tickets to watch the Wallabies. This year I won’t be spending a cent. Leave Israel alone Rugby Australia.”

Cassie: “Why was Alan Joyce allowed to use his platform as Qantas CEO to push his agenda and Folau not?”

Maria: “Goodbye rugby union. I have been a fan of the Wallabies since I was young. You have lost me forever.”

Andrew: “I’m out. I’m done with rugby. I’ll never watch it again.”

John: “The RA Board needs to go and so does the CEO of Qantas.”

Corey: “Political correctness has infected all media and sports codes. Rugby Australia are scared to offend a 2 per cent minority.”

George: “The Folau incident is forcing us to ponder … are we still a Christian country?”

Gerrard: “It is amazing how politicians are praised for respecting our Christian traditions by not campaigning at Easter but Israel Folau loses his job for upholding the same traditions. Perhaps we need rugby sponsors who believe and uphold our western Judaeo-Christian values.”

At least Kent put a smile on our faces when he wrote: “My experience of hell is watching the Wallabies play.”

There are simple fundamental questions at work here. Can a sponsor include any conditions it likes to control the activities of all the employees of the organisation it is sponsoring?

Yet the same sponsor can enter a commercial partnership with countries that openly commit atrocities against gay people.

This has all reached farcical proportions. I see one headline which says: “If Rugby Australia doesn’t successfully expel Folau, World Rugby will have to.”

Are these people on something? This is brewing as a massive and expensive legal issue. There are tens of thousands of people signing petitions in support of a world-class player.

Rugby Australia seem to be driving the process as an employment contract breach. Folau and his supporters see this as an infringement of civil liberties; that citizens of this so-called free country should be entitled to share their religious beliefs.

All Folau has done is quote 2000-year-old scripture.

As Thomas Jefferson said in relation to the US constitutional right to the freedom of speech, expressing one’s own beliefs, is “neither picking my pocket nor breaking my leg”.

The politically correct do-gooders do not have to listen to or agree with Folau.

But if Folau was offering a Christian warning to so-called sinners, and he managed to rope us all in, I was made aware of a more significant warning only this week by someone who read what I had written.

I was reminded that Martin Niemöller, a German theologian, had been a prominent pastor of an influential parish in Berlin-Dahlem from 1931 until his arrest in July 1937.

His incarceration, first in Moabit Prison, then in Sachsenhausen and finally in Dachau in 1945 brought feelings of shame and guilt for some of his positions since 1933.

And it prompted his famous confession: “First, they came for the socialists and I did not speak out because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.”

What an incongruity on this matter that some speak out because money speaks; and some are frightened to speak out because money speaks.

If Folau is wrong, then do we burn the Bible?

The German-Jewish poet Heinrich Heine once declared: “Wherever books are burnt, humans are destined to be burnt too.”

Folau now faces a code of conduct panel. His post was on April 10.

The hearing is on May 4. What does that say about justice delayed? And what anyway is the panel about?

Rugby Australia has ignored its own processes and protocols. Before any chance was given for Folau to defend himself, he has been punished, condemned, defamed and humiliated.

After all, NSW played last week. He was not picked. The Australian coach says he won’t be picked for the Wallabies.

The captain of Australia and NSW says he won’t play in the same team as Folau. Will selectors tell that young man that he doesn’t pick the team? Or has the whole show gone completely mad?

Do the professionally offended believe they have won? If Folau is finished, I am sorry but Rugby Australia is finished too.

The administrative changes that I have argued for, for months now, must immediately occur.

But on this issue, there can be only one result; and how the phalanx of people advising Rugby Australia don’t see it is unbelievable. Stop digging the hole. Stop further damaging the game. Stop dragging this mess out any further. Have the decency to practice the “inclusiveness” you boast about.

We need a leader to bring all parties together and start again. Rugby Australia and Qantas cannot win. If they win, Australia loses.

One final point. Please tell the volunteers and the battlers out there in clubland that Qantas should be made to pay for all the costs involved. Without their involvement, we would not be in this space. And if Qantas have not put the gun to the head of Rugby Australia, say so and I am happy to report it.

But back to where we began. Can someone in Rugby Australia read the judgment of the Federal Court in Brisbane 10 days ago in relation to the distinguished James Cook University professor Peter Ridd.

He too was sacked for expressing sincerely held scientific views.

The Federal court found the university’s treatment of this eminent professor was unlawful. Termination became vindication.

I suspect a similar outcome awaits Folau.

NOW IS TIME TO BE DOERS OF THE WORD

If you have been following Nelson Walters of Gospel in the End Times YouTube videos, you will have learnt much already about what the Bible reveals about the timing of Jesus second coming. In particular, Christians can expect to be on earth during the tribulation and great tribulation predicted during the last seven years before Jesus returns to earth, to rule and reign the nations from Jerusalem. Jesus promised His elect would not experience the wrath of God, but the Bible is clear God’s wrath is poured out with the seven Trumpet and seven Bowl judgements. It is at the sixth seal, we read in Revelation 6:17 “For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand.”

You will need to watch this video “How to Prepare for the Last Days” on YouTube just click on Watch this video on YouTube. It  will assist Nelson to keep these videos up on YouTube.

Now is the time to be doers of the word is the clear message of this movie length video, but Nelson also reviews the events that are unfolding in these last days that match Biblical prophecy. The initial impact of the last days events are already on us. God is bringing catastrophes to provide opportunities for Christians to witness and present the Good News.

END TIMES PROPHECY – IRAN AND ISRAEL

This article by Dr. Majid Rafizadeh fits with end times prophecy concerning Iran and Israel.

Dr. Majid Rafizadeh is a business strategist and advisor, Harvard-educated scholar, political scientist, board member of Harvard International Review, and president of the International American Council on the Middle East. He has authored several books on Islam and US Foreign Policy.

“Iran’s military activities and clear public threats to annihilate Israel continue to grow in frequency and intensity. These moves not only instil fear, as they are doubtless meant to do; they also threaten to disrupt the international community.

With such dire promises of conflict, it would be expected that the international news media and politicians throughout the world would have something to say about this situation.

Instead, Iran’s continued abusive behaviour continues to be cozied up to at worst, or at best, ignored.

Iran Inches Closer Toward its Goal of ‘Wiping Israel Off the Map’

One of the core pillars and revolutionary ideals of the Islamic Republic is destroying the Jewish state. It is also one of the religious prophecies of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, and his successor, the current Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, that Israel will be eventually erased from the face of the earth.

As Iran’s theocratic establishment believes that the Supreme Leader is Allah’s representative on earth, whatever words or desires the Supreme Leader utters are considered wishes, which must be brought to life by Allah’s true believers.

While they progress toward destroying Israel, not only do Iranian leaders believe that they are inching closer to fulfilling a religious prophecy, but they also see that they are gaining strategic and geopolitical victories — in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and in the Gaza Strip.

The Deputy Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Salami, recently threatened on Iran’s Channel 2 TV that Israel is “vulnerable and bringing itself closer to death”.

Salami recently made it vehemently clear the strategy of the Iranian government, stating:

“Our strategy is to erase Israel from the global political map. And, it seems that, considering the evil that Israel is doing, it is bringing itself closer to that.”

In addition, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei recently posted a Twitter tirade against Israel. It stated that the, “the Zionist regime will perish in the not-so-far future.”

This burst of confidence is bolstered by Iran’s military buildup in Syria, among other places. The Syrian civil war has been viewed as a perfect environment for the Iranian leaders to advance and ultimately achieve their objective of destroying Israel.

Iran has built, or is in the process of building, more than 10 military bases in Syria, some of which are near the Israeli border. Tehran has used this strategic position in Syria to fire rockets into Israel.

While many of the world leaders disregard Iran’s evident intentions to destroy Israel, they always seems extremely quick to criticise Israel for actually defending the safety of its citizens.

After Iran’s unprovoked attacks on Israel and its military build-up in Syria were dismissed by the international community, Israel had no choice but to carry out its own strikes against the Iranian military bases and infrastructure that were threatening their country.

Unfortunately, some news outlets and politicians have been attempting to create a narrative to lead people to believe that the Iranian leaders’ threats are just talk. Iran’s leaders, however, continue to demonstrate their intentions not only with verbal threats, but with military actions as well.

Since 1979, Iran has authorised firing rockets and missiles into Israel, and have also used proxies, such as Hamas and Hezbollah, to attack Israel viciously. Iran appears to have Israel solidly in its cross-hairs.

Apparently in a rush to provide cover for Iran, some world leaders have also, for years, been attempting to tell the public that there is a difference between “moderate” Iranian politicians and the hardliners.

Unfortunately, that distinction is make-believe. Iran’s current president, Hassan Rouhani, like the previous president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has called Israel a “cancerous tumour.” Iranian politicians across the political spectrum (hardliners or “moderates”) all agree on one thing: destroy Israel.

When will the international community begin to take the Iranian government’s clear verbal threats and physical aggression seriously? Or would the international community secretly like to see Israel destroyed, under Europe’s Orwellian inversion of the words: ‘the peace process’?”

TRUMP’S PEACE PLAN: WILL IT BRING JUDGEMENT ON THE USA?

Could the Peace Plan for Israel and Palestine, the plan, which President Donald Trump has dubbed the ‘Deal of the Century,’ be the covenant in Daniel 9:27 that introduces the last seven years prior to Jesus return to earth to commence His Millennial reign? When Yeshua was asked about His coming and the end of the age, in Matthew 24: 15, He referred to the above verse in Daniel.

All who have tried to create lasting peace between Israel and her neighbours have failed;  yet, the Word of God says that one man will appear to succeed. This man’s peace plan will begin the final countdown to the return of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah).

After the Israeli elections on April 9th, President Trump is planning to unveil a Two State “Final Solution” which will not only be dangerous for Israel, but will be the 4th and Final National Apostasy which positions the United States to receive God’s poured out Judgement.

It won’t be Trump’s Peace Plan that ushers in peace for the first half of the seven years prior to Jesus return to rule and reign. Trump has been God’s Cyrus as Jonathan reveals in his presentation below. However, if Trump’s Peace Plan forces Israel to give up land then we know that his actions will bring God’s judgement upon the USA.

In light of the urgency to make peace in the Middle East, it is vital to understand what the Prophet Daniel and Yeshua (Jesus) told us about this peace plan and the last days, so we can recognise the times and warn others also.

Joel gives us the end of the story: “I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.  There I will put them on trial for what they did to My inheritance, My people Israel, because they scattered My people among the nations and divided up My land.”  (Joel 3:2)

Jonathan Cahn ties Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy into events that are unfolding in our time. Be amazed at the detail given in this prophecy of coming events, confirming the Bible is God’s Word and trustworthy. All of the unfulfilled Biblical prophecies of the end times will happen exactly as prophesied.

MONSTER MOSQUITOES BITE LIKE BEING STABBED WITH A NEEDLE

Is this a prophesied “Last Days” event?  THE hurricanes which have battered the States in recent months have spawned billions of highly-aggressive ‘monster’ mosquitoes.

The giant bloodsuckers have a voracious appetite, zebra stripes and are FIVE TIMES bigger than other flood “mozzies”.

The giant bloodsuckers have zebra stripes and are five times bigger than others

The eggs of the Psorophora ciliata –  known as gallnippers – can lie dormant for years until the right kind of floodwaters come along, then they hatch in huge swarms.

And experts warn the pain of a bite from one of these mega-mozzies – which can grow to more than one inch long – can feel like you are being stabbed with a needle.

A gallnipper pictured next to a much smaller Asian Tiger mosquito
Assistant professor in the Department of Entomology at North Carolina State University Michael H. Reiskind said they are pretty hard to miss.

He said. “If you see mosquitoes often, then you’re going to say, ‘Wow, that’s a big mosquito.'”

The floodwaters which followed Hurricane Florence in the Carolinas have already spawned swarms of the bugs and now Hurricane Michael is set to do the same in the tourist mecca of Florida.

ANTICHRIST AND DECEPTION

Another important teaching from Nelson Walters on the “end times” Most Christians and prophecy teachers focus on the physical implications of the Great Tribulation. Jesus and Paul focused primarily on the spiritual implications – especially on the deception of Antichrist which will lead to the falling away. In this video learn how Matt. 24, the Parable of the Ten Virgins, and 2 Thess. 2 are all interrelated and give important application for the church today.

DANIEL WAS TOLD KNOWLEDGE WOULD INCREASE

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Daniel 12:4

The biggest global communication network roll out in history is about to begin. This prophecy given to Daniel by the angel Gabriel takes on new meaning when we consider what is unfolding in our time, in terms of increase in knowledge. There is an urgency now, to look at the 70 Weeks prophecy given to Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27) in the light of the Revelation given to John who was told contrary to Daniel, do not seal the words of this prophecy for the time is at hand.

“And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand” Revelation 22:10

I’m sure you’ve heard about the coming fifth generation mobile network — or 5G — roll-out. You might have heard about the incredibly fast download speeds 5G allows, the low latency, and the awesome streaming power.

Everything in your entire house…wirelessly connected and communicating

Just this month, Amazon announced a new hardware product. It’s a microwave that can listen to your voice commands. The microwave wirelessly connects to Amazon’s virtual assistant, Alexa.

Alexa can already interact through voice, play music, set your alarm and update you on the news, sport and weather. Now, you can tell her to cook your potatoes the way you like them.

Wired just quoted Amazon’s senior vice president of devices as saying, ‘Just think, one day there will be thousands of these things in the home.’ We can add your office, gym and anywhere else you care to look.

LG is rolling out Google Assistant, which will have your TV talking to you. You’ll be able to change channels, check the weather and even organise your weekly shopping – without moving off the couch. And goodbye to hunting around the room looking for your remote control!

There could be 300 million smart speakers like Alexa sold by 2022.

Also coming are smart thermostats, baby monitors, security systems…and the list goes on. Billions of small, connected sensors are going to get rolled out everywhere.

Parking spots will know when cars enter and leave.

Farmers will know exactly how much fertiliser their plants need. Insurers might even know how close your car is to breaking down. The applications are endless.

The impending rollout of 5G networks worldwide happening now is going to finally usher in the long-awaited and talked about Internet of Things (IoT) reality.

This is where all devices and things are connected to the internet, communicating and sharing data.

This is what can make self-driving cars a reality…amongst many other things.

Bloomberg expects it to usher in automated manufacturing, remote surgery, driver-less cars and traffic control.

Vodafone in the UK just demonstrated a holographic phone call. A young football fan chatted with a player in front of a live audience — despite the two having the conversation being physically 190 miles apart!

Already mobile data traffic is exploding worldwide as shown by this graph. Well, 5G is going to allow the world to send massive amounts of data at incredibly fast speeds. The download speeds are going to be 10 to 100 times faster than 4G.

In September, The Australian quoted Telstra’s head of mobiles Kevin Teoh. He said, ‘We expect the implementation of 5G technology will facilitate applications and usage for mobile handsets that have not yet been imagined.’

ZDNet says it’s going to ‘…replace the future’.

The Financial Times calls it ‘…a game changer for humanity’.

And MIT Technology Review calls it ‘…the next technological revolution’ and a ‘…paradigm shift, akin to the shift from the typewriter to the computer’.

Jesus told us what it would be like before His second coming. “As in the days of Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah.”

Are you ready for Jesus return, are you prepared for the tribulation, even great tribulation in the last 2 1/2 years before the elect are raptured to heaven and the wrath of God is poured out on the ungodly.  Both books of the Bible, Daniel and Revelation, give us a detailed account of events in the last seven years prior to Jesus return to this earth, and they are unfolding just as God said they would.

GOD PROMISES TO POUR OUT HIS SPIRIT ON BELIEVERS IN THE LAST DAYS

The Jubilee Year, which started on the Day of Atonement in 2017, is as relevant today as it was when God had Moses introduce it to His people (Leviticus) two thousand years ago. When the trumpet sounded, the land must be returned to its original owners. It was a time of restoration.

In 1917, the land was given back to the Jewish people on a Jubilee year by the British with the Balfour declaration. In 1948, Israel was re-established as a nation by the UN but Jordan is given control over Jerusalem. The next Jubilee in 1967, Israel gets back its capital Jerusalem. This is exactly what is prophesied in God’s Word and therefore proof positive it was God’s plan, it came to pass. What about Jubilee 2017? This is the year that the leader of the most powerful nation, on earth, President Trump, recognises Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved its Embassy there.

The Jubilee is relevant for all nations as shown by Jonathan Cahn on his trip to Cuba. You must hear his story of what transpired in Cuba. It truly is amazing, I have never heard anything like it before, God was in it, miracle after miracle. Proof of God’s sovereignty, His total control over His universe.

Jonathan believes that in this Jubilee, God is releasing His power to live as the church did in the Book of Acts.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over, and His glory will be seen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1. It is time for all believers to take up our inheritance. The Holy Spirit’s power will be released, as it was in the early church, for us to accomplish all that He has prescribed for each one of us in these last days.

TWO WITNESSES ANOINTED WITH THE SPIRIT OF ELIJAH AND MOSES

Who are the Two Witnesses? Stephen Ben Nun presents a sound case from God’s Word that it will be two persons that are anointed with the spirit of Elijah and Moses.

These are the main Scriptures Stephen uses to make his case for the two witnesses being the anointed ones in the spirit of Elijah and Moses. You will need to be patient as Stephen quotes Scriptures in both English and Hebrew bearing in mind a large number of his followers are Jews.

“And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth.” Revelation 11:4

“What are these two olive branches that drip into the receptacles of the two gold pipes from which the golden oil drains?” (the anointing oil to anoint the two witnesses) Then he answered me and said, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
So he said, “These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.” Zechariah 4:12

“Also you (Elijah) shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place.” 1 Kings 19:13

‘”He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:17

Zacharias is told, his son John the Baptist will go forth in the Spirit of Elijah and Jesus confirmed it when he told His disciples that Elijah had already come in John the Baptist.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet (one who will come in the spirit and power of Elijah) before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” Malachi 4:5-6

OCEAN TEMPERATURES REACH RECORD LEVELS

This week, environmental experts were stunned when ocean water off of the San Diego coast hit an all-time record high of 81.3 degrees Fahrenheit. Daily measurements began all the way back in 1916, and since that time a higher ocean temperature has never been recorded off of the California coast.

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. Studies have shown that ocean temperatures have been rising rapidly all over the planet, and this has already had a devastating impact on many ecosystems.

The oceans are the foundation of the food chain, and if sea life starts dying off on a massive scale, it could mean unprecedented famine all over the planet. Is this further evidence we are in the “last days?

This should be one of the biggest news stories of the year, but unfortunately the mainstream media is almost entirely ignoring it.

Some free-swimming sea animals may shift their routines, but stationary organisms like coral reefs and kelp forests “are in real peril,” said Michael Burrows, an ecologist at the Scottish Marine Institute, who was not part of the research.

Image result for pictures of coral reefs and fish

In 2016 and 2017, persistent high ocean temperatures off eastern Australia killed off as much as half of the shallow water corals of the Great Barrier Reef. According to marine biologist Ove Hoegh-Guldberg, one out of every four fish on the entire planet “lives in or around coral reefs”.

Earthquakes are happening more frequently, volcanoes that were once dormant are springing to life all over the globe, and we are witnessing shaking in unusual locations. Underwater volcanic eruptions are generating immense amounts of heat, underwater earthquakes are producing giant cracks in the crust of our planet, and magma from the core of the Earth is pushing up toward the surface. The ongoing eruption in Hawaii is an example above the surface of the water that we can see, but anything going on below the surface generally does not make the news.
