WE ARE AS GODS

We are living in a world that no longer believes God exists and in fact some believe that we can become Gods. Peter Diamandis is intelligent and it is difficult for me to understand how he still believes in evolution. By most measures it is a failed theory. Sadly, it seems the following Scripture defines Peter Diamandis: “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.Romans 1:28

Excerpts from: We Are As Gods – A Survival Guide for the Age of Abundance, By Peter H. Diamandis & Steven Kotler

A man walks into a hospital, legally blind. Eighty minutes later, he walks out able to see faces. That’s not science fiction. That’s not a hundred years from now. That’s Monday morning in 2026.
His name doesn’t matter. What matters is what happened inside that operating room. A surgeon implanted a two-millimeter photovoltaic microchip containing 400 light-powered pixels into his retina. The chip—called PRIMA—works like a solar panel, converting infrared light into electrical signals that stimulate surviving neurons. Those neurons transmit signals along the optic nerve to the visual cortex, where the brain constructs them into images. The surgery took 80 minutes. What were the results? Biblical.

Before the procedure, this man’s vision measured 20/450: legally blind by U.S. standards. And after? 20/160. The difference between seeing darkness and seeing faces. Between isolation and connection. Between blindness and sight. The blind can now see. And if that phrase sounds familiar, it should. Because according to the New Testament, the restoration of sight to the blind is one of the defining miracles – proof in the mathematical sense, of divine power.Which raises an interesting question: If we can perform miracles of biblical proportions, what exactly does that make us?

“We Are As Gods and Might as Well Get Good at It”

In 1968, Stewart Brand wrote those words in the first edition of the Whole Earth Catalog. He was talking about technology, and it was a tall order. Consider what it would actually take to match the gods. Creation ex nihilo: the creation of something from nothing. That feat is reserved. Only supreme deities need apply. Yahweh pulled it off. So did Brahma, Atum, Pangu. The ability to drag light, land, and life out of the void. Or omniscience – the ability to know all things. Omnipresence – the ability to exist everywhere at once. “Praecognitio” – Latin for the power to foretell the future. Shape-shifting. Resurrection. The power to heal the sick, control the weather, and part seas. If you count the miracles in the Old Testament alone, you get 83 supernatural acts divided into ten categories: Creation, Provision, Nature, Healing, Resurrection, Judgment, Protection, Prophecy, Communication, and Victory in Battle. That’s a lot of miracles.
And in 1968, when Brand made his proclamation, we weren’t quite there. We were gods in training. Mainframe computers the size of oil tankers were the rule. The microchip had just been invented. Color television was a neat trick. NASA managed to orbit the moon with men in a can, but Neil Armstrong’s small step was still a year away. We were not gods. Not yet. But what nobody expected… we were very fast learners.
The Miracle Inventory
Let me show you something. If you measure modern technology against the Old Testament’s miracle categories, here’s what you might find:

CREATION MIRACLES
Synthetic biology creates new forms of life or modifies existing ones. CRISPR edits genes with precision. 3D printing brings matter into being layer by layer: literally building something from almost nothing. Generative AI creates virtual worlds populated by self-directed agents capable of forming economies, religions, and societies.
We create life. We create worlds. We create intelligence.

PROVISION MIRACLES
Vertical farming produces food with 95% less water and 99% less land than traditional agriculture. Desalination turns seawater into drinking water at scale. Lab-grown meat provides protein without slaughter. Solar-powered systems provide clean water, cooking, and sustainable protein even in deserts. Drones deliver meals and medicine where supply chains fail.
The miracle of provision—feeding multitudes, turning scarcity into Abundance—is no longer metaphor. It’s operational.

HEALING MIRACLES
Gene therapy cures disease at the genetic level. Stem cells repair what injury destroys. Telemedicine enables remote diagnosis and treatment. Advanced diagnostics detect disease before symptoms appear – often catching seven out of the top ten causes of death early enough to intervene. AI-powered drug discovery accelerates cures for cancer and rare genetic disorders.
The blind see. The paralyzed walk. The dying are healed.

RESURRECTION MIRACLES
Cryonics preserves the dead in hope of future revival. Stem cells create new organs. Organ perfusion technology keeps donated organs viable for days instead of hours. CPR and drone-delivered defibrillators revive people in cardiac arrest.
We raise the dead. Maybe not permanently. Not yet. But we’re getting there.
The list goes on. And on. And on.

In 1968, when Stewart Brand made his proclamation, these capabilities were fantasy. Today, they’re infrastructure. Miracles have become utilities. We are, by any reasonable definition, gods.
Why We Don’t Feel Divine
So, if we’re literally walking the Earth in an age of miracles, why don’t we feel like gods?
The answer lies in how our brains process novelty – or more accurately, fail to process it.
In the 1980s, Northwestern University cognitive scientist Dedre Gentner ran experiments asking people questions like: “How is a solar system like an atom?”
Most people answered: “Electrons orbit the nucleus like planets orbit the sun.”
Gentner discovered something profound about how the mind works: a process she called structure-mapping. To understand the unfamiliar, humans don’t just make surface comparisons. We map deep relational similarities between domains. We use analogies as cognitive infrastructure.
The brain to a computer. The internet to a web. Genes to code. The universe to a network.
Analogy is how we compress novelty into familiarity. It’s how we make sense of the world when it starts changing faster than we can keep up.
But here’s the problem: Our comparison machinery has run out of comparisons.
Godlike powers in our pockets? What’s the analogy? Curing blindness with microchips? Resurrecting the dead with defibrillators? Creating life from stem cells?
There are no easy grounds for comparison. Without analogies, we can’t parse the world. The result is cognitive vertigo: the sense that the world is moving faster than we can make sense of it.
And when analogies fail, humans start hunting for deeper patterns—what Carl Jung called archetypes.
The Rise of Archetypal Media. Jung argued that archetypes are universal patterns embedded in humanity’s collective unconscious, primal symbols that evoke powerful reactions across cultures. The Hero. The Shadow. The Great Mother. The Wise Old Man.
In the early twenty-first century, we find ourselves awash in Jungian archetypes. And if you want to track the psychological impact of technological acceleration—the failure of analogy—just count the gods, goddesses, superheroes, and supervillains populating our screens.
Start in 1968. The next decade produced one notable cinematic release: Superman. Television gave us Wonder Woman.
The 1980s saw a step-function increase: ten superhero films and six TV shows.
The 1990s doubled: twenty major releases and nearly as many shows.
Between 2000 and 2010? The numbers tripled: sixty films and thirty television series.
Jung would argue this surge is an unconscious response to the psychic destabilization brought on by radical acceleration in human potential. With each technological leap, we need new symbols and myths to anchor our understanding of our growing power.
Archetypes provide narrative coherence and moral clarity. As Spider-Man says: “With great power comes great responsibility.”
We live in a world of abundant archetypes because we live in a world of abundant miracles.
The Information Apocalypse
There’s another reason we don’t feel divine: information overload.
In 3000 BCE, if you measured all the data in the world—papyrus scrolls, clay tablets, the works—you’d total about one gigabyte. The equivalent of 4,000 books.
In 2012, when we published Abundance, the world produced 2.8 zettabytes of data. A zettabyte is a trillion gigabytes. That’s 4,000 trillion books.
By 2025? 181 zettabytes. We don’t have an analogy for that number. And that’s the point. Information impacts the nervous system, and we’re living through the biggest information surge in history. The result is a mismatch between the data storm outside and the prediction engine inside. Our ancient brains don’t have the bandwidth, and our imagination has been hijacked by the apocalypse.
No wonder we don’t feel divine.
The Miracles in Your Pocket. Let’s bring this home. You carry miracle technology in your jeans and handbag. You can summon a chariot of the gods disguised as an Uber with a finger tap. You can conjure a feast via Uber Eats with another.
You have answers to nearly every question in seconds—omniscience on demand.
You can see anyone, anywhere, anytime through video calls—omnipresence as a feature, not a bug.
Translation. Navigation. Simulation. Creation. Communication. It’s all at your fingertips.
The grandiosity of “omnipresence” and “omniscience” has been replaced by the prosaic “Zoom” and “Google,” but the underlying superpowers are the same.
These divine powers are everywhere and everywhen.
In 2012, we predicted a future that included autonomous cars, flying cars, delivery drones, and humanoid robots. It sounded like science fiction.
Today? Over 30 autonomous car companies are operational. Waymo operates robotaxis with zero safety drivers in San Francisco, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. Tesla Full Self-Driving has over one million users.
Flying car companies—eVTOL vehicles—are conducting commercial test flights in Dubai, Los Angeles, and Singapore. Joby Aviation expects to launch commercial operations offering 15-minute flights from LAX to downtown LA (versus 60-90 minutes by car).
Nearly every major retailer has robots running their warehouses. Zipline makes thousands of drone deliveries every day, transporting lifesaving medicines and saving tens of thousands of lives in the process.
Humanoid robots? Google “Tesla Optimus.” You’ll find videos of robots folding clothing, serving drinks, and holding yoga poses.
We’ve gone from hard-to-believe stories to commercial operations in just over a decade.
The Survival Guide for the Age of Abundance
Here’s the thing: Stewart Brand was right. We are as gods. But he left out the hard part. We have to get good at it.
Because the same exponential forces that gave us godlike powers are also overwhelming our nervous systems, hijacking our attention, and triggering bias cascades that blind us to miracles.
Our capabilities have far outstripped our wisdom.
As Ray Kurzweil writes in his endorsement of We Are as Gods:
“Peter Diamandis and Steven Kotler show that while exponential technologies deliver the capability for radical abundance, the real challenge lies in upgrading our consciousness to match our accelerating power. This is more than a survival guide—it’s a manual for optimizing our destiny.”
That’s the paradox. We have the power to cure blindness, create life, and command machines with our thoughts.
But we’re still running Stone Age prediction software in our heads. Our ancient brains don’t have the bandwidth to process miracles at scale.
So we feel anxious instead of abundant. Overwhelmed instead of empowered. Burned out instead of divine.
The solution isn’t less power. It’s a consciousness upgrade.
The Abundance era has arrived. The miracles are here. The blind can see. The paralyzed can walk. We create life from stem cells and resurrect the dead with technology. But without upgrading our consciousness to match our godlike capabilities, we’ll miss it entirely. We’ll keep doom scrolling through the apocalypse, blind to the fact that we’re living through the most extraordinary transformation in human history.
The Choice
You have a choice. You can keep seeing the world through the lens of negativity bias, confirmation bias, and cognitive overload – where every headline is a disaster and every change feels like a threat. Or you can update your operating system. You can learn to see the miracles you’re living through. You can train your brain to recognize Abundance even when it’s wrapped in disruption.
You can, in Stewart Brand’s words, get good at being gods.
The tools are here. The data is clear. The miracles are multiplying. The only question is: Will you see them?
Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Google, put it this way:
“Diamandis and Kotler’s bestseller Abundance helped shift the global conversation from fear to possibility. Now, We Are as Gods reveals that the forces they predicted—AI, clean energy, digital biology—are scaling at a pace few could imagine. This book argues persuasively that the Abundance era has arrived and challenges leaders to use these capabilities responsibly and ambitiously.”
The Abundance era has arrived. The blind can see. The paralyzed can walk. We create worlds with code and life with CRISPR.
We are as gods. The question is: Are you ready to get good at it?

It is Babel all over again. Is it any wonder why Jesus has to return to restore righteousness. Be prepared for what is next on God’s agenda for planet earth go to http://www.millennialkingdom.net

WHY THERE REALLY IS A GOD

The book, Why There Really Is A God – And What You Need To Know About Him, is a well-written and thoughtfully organized exploration of the arguments for and against the existence of God. It has a balanced approach, with common counterarguments, scientific challenges, and philosophical objections also fairly represented and discussed. Its accessible style makes it a valuable resource for anyone interested in this fundamental question. For those already familiar with apologetics, the book may serve as a useful synthesis of various arguments presented in a coherent and accessible manner.

For skeptics, the book offers a direct engagement with the questions and objections they might raise, providing the author’s reasoned responses. It is a book that encourages critical thinking, inviting readers to engage with the evidence and draw their own conclusions. Whether you are a creationist, an atheist, or somewhere in between, this book can offer you a thorough review of one of the most important debates in human history without appearing one-sided.

Why There Really is a God is a valuable resource for a variety of readers. It serves as a useful reference for creationists seeking to strengthen their own position, providing a well-organized and comprehensive overview of foundational evidence. It is also an excellent introduction for those who are undecided or unsure about their beliefs, offering balanced and fair-minded reasoning. Even confirmed atheists will find the book thought-provoking, as it presents the arguments for God’s existence in a clear and compelling manner.

The text aligns with its stated aim of engaging “someone who is openminded enough to engage with the best arguments for (and against) God, and fair-minded enough to change their view if the evidence points in that direction” (p. 6). Wilson successfully creates a space for genuine inquiry, encouraging readers to think critically about the evidence and come to their own conclusions.

BELIEF IN GOD MORE WIDESPREAD THAN THE MEDIA REVEALS

Video footage from last Friday’s game between the Detroit Lions and the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta shows players from both teams gathered in prayer on the field after an ambulance arrived to provide medical treatment to injured Lions cornerback Morice Norris.

While Norris did not post about his injury on his X account, he identified as a man of faith in a post published Sunday.

God is amazing, never forget to give him praise,” the former Fresno State University standout said.

Morris provided a detailed reflection of his injury on his Instagram account on Monday.

“God is truly amazing, starting this journey I put my complete faith in him walked the path he has already pre set for me without fear. I will forever be grateful for the trials and obstacles he places in front of me because I know I have nothing to fear,” he wrote. “I wanna thank everyone for the prayers and both organizations for how they helped me and my family as well. I’m just a kid who wants to play ball and you all will see me playing again real soon so have no fear God is with me.”

DO YOU UNDERSTAND AND KNOW GOD?

Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts, boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.Jeremiah 9:23-24

The Bible uses the word Emunah for understands and knows – it means trust due to proven actions – faith demonstrated by works.

The most important thing that each of us needs to discover about God is that He loves us. So much that He was prepared to send His son Jesus to earth to die in our place, to pay the price for our sin and rebellion against Him. How good is that.

This happened for me at age 47 when I discovered at a Creation Conference that first of all that God exists. My stumbling block was that doing science at Sydney University I was taught evolution, so the big breakthrough came when I saw at the conference a video of Dr Dean Kenyon, who had been the professor of biochemistry at Stanford University and had written two evolutionary textbooks on biochemistry, now say that the discovery of DNA and the electron microscope had rung the death knell for evolution.

DNA is complex information that controls all the functions of living cells. Its only source is intelligent design. The electron microscope revealed complex manufacturing units and transport devices inside every living cell that are controlled by the DNA. It is impossible that this could have evolved it had to be created as a completed functioning unit on day one, by an intelligence beyond our comprehension, outside of the time, space, and material universe it created. I came away from that conference so annoyed with myself and even more so with the educational establishment that was teaching this garbage. The second thing I discovered at the conference was that Biblical history of a young universe was true. The worldwide flood of Noah’s day was an actual event that provides the evidence for the billions of dead things found buried in the rocks all over the world including fossil fuel from the buried vegetation. Evidence that the world says accumulated over billions of years. It was a simple step to take from discovering the Bible is God’s Word to us, that He loves us, and wants to be back in fellowship with us. It change my life forever. From managing large health care companies God had me purchase Christian Press and run it as Care & Share Products for 30 plus years. It is now owned and operated by my youngest son Scott who also happens to be the President of the Christian Booksellers Association in Australia.

KNOWING GOD IS IN CONTROL

I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose. Isaiah 46:10

Sometimes, we need the reminder that God knows the future and can do what is humanly impossible. He knows what is eternally best in ways we cannot. God can see ultimate purposes and plans that we can’t. We also need to understand that God is in control.

Countries where the people once honoured God, recognising that “God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself2 Corinthians 5:19, experienced unprecedented security and prosperity. These same countries today are crumbling as people turn their backs on God. ” Righteousness lifts up a nation, but sin is a shame to any people.” Proverbs 14:34.

As nations turn their backs on God, living as if He does not exist, sin abounds; political corruption, lying, slander, public displays of debauchery, violent crime, abortion, theft, adultery, drug taking, drunkenness, gambling, and greed of all kinds. Economic woes follow as taxes increase and governments borrow money to pay for bigger police forces, gaols, and social security systems to fix the problems. Underpinning this abandonment of faith in God is the widespread acceptance of evolutionary thinking – that everything made itself by natural processes and that God is not necessary. The complex design we see in the world designed itself. God says they are without excuse if they ignore the obvious.

For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.Romans 1:19-20

Sadly, such thinking abounds in universities and governments today. As a result, some of the greatest evil ever seen perpetrated was by those who adopted an evolutionary approach to morality: Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Pol Pot. Many millions have suffered terribly and lost their lives because of this atheistic way of thinking. Atheism kills because, without God, there are no rules – anything goes. Atheists are at the forefront of efforts to legitimise abortion, euthanasia, drug taking, prostitution, pornography, and promiscuity. All these things cause misery, suffering, and death. Atheism is the philosophy of death, and it comes from the great deceiver, Satan, who is intent on our destruction.

The Bible reveals that God knew this would happen and that before Jesus returns to restore righteousness, His followers will be persecuted for His namesake.

Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.Matthew 24:9-14

You need to be living eternal now, ready for Jesus’ return. My book is available on Amazon.

DOES GOD EXIST

To whet your appetite I have given a summary of four good arguments for the existence of God and hope they will prompt you to go to http://www.creation.com and or http://www.answersingenesis.org for more information.

THE DESIGN ARGUMENT

The universe has clear organizational structures and intricate laws that control it indicating an intentional complex plan. How can such high-level design exist without a designer? To claim that chance accounts for the world’s order and extreme complexity is irrational.

http://www.encodeproject.org The discovery of DNA and the electron microscope rang the death knell of evolution. DNA stores information in the form of a four-character digital code, with strings of precisely sequenced chemicals that transmit detailed assembly instructions. DNA builds protein molecules, the intricate machinery that allows cells to survive. Consider the most complex software program you’ve ever used. Could it have developed on its own, without an intelligent designer? Of course not. How much more ridiculous is it to suppose that time, chance, and natural forces—on their own—produced the far more complex DNA?

Scientists once likened the components of living cells to simple LEGO blocks. Now they know that “cells have complex circuits, sliding clamps, energy-generating turbines, rotors, stators, O-rings, U-joints, and drive shafts.” None of those tiny engines work unless all parts are present. Hence, they must have coexisted from the beginning. That’s what biochemist Michael Behe calls, in his book Darwin’s Black Box, “irreducible complexity.”

Non-Christian physicist Paul Davies writes, “We now know that the secret of life lies not with the chemical ingredients as such, but with the logical structure and organizational arrangement of the molecules…. Like a supercomputer, life is an information-processing system…. It is the software of the living cell that is the real mystery, not the hardware…. How did stupid atoms spontaneously write their own software?… Nobody knows.”

I think there’s a better answer than “Nobody knows”; namely, the atoms didn’t write their own software. God did.

THE COSMOLOGICAL ARGUMENT

The Cosmological argument cites the world’s existence as evidence of an uncaused, eternal being who created and sustains it. Either, something comes from nothing (an unscientific notion), or a first cause or “prime mover” existed before everything else. Francis Schaeffer argued in He Is There and He Is Not Silent that a personal first cause, God, could account for both the material and personal elements of life, while a material first cause only accounts for the material.

THE TRANSCENDENTAL ARGUMENT

The transcendental argument says that no part of human experience and knowledge has meaning apart from God’s existence. Without God, we have no basis for or explanation of order, logic, reason, intelligence, or rationality. Since Christians and atheists agree there is order and basis for reasoning, this is evidence for God.

THE MORAL ARGUMENT

The moral argument claims the existence of universal moral values—what humans generally recognize as right and wrong—has no explanation or objectivity without God.

1. Objective Moral Values Exist

  • Premise: Objective moral values (i.e., moral values that are true regardless of human opinions or beliefs) exist. For example, things like “murder is wrong” or “kindness is good” are often considered to be universally true.
  • Argument: If objective moral values exist, they need a grounding or source that transcends human subjectivity.

2. Moral Values Require a Foundation

  • Premise: If there are objective moral values, they must be grounded in something beyond mere human preference or societal conventions.
  • Argument: Naturalistic or atheistic explanations often struggle to account for objective moral values because they typically reduce moral values to evolutionary or sociological constructs, which are seen as subjective or relative.

3. God Provides a Foundation

  • Premise: The existence of God (or a transcendent, morally perfect being) is proposed as the best explanation for the existence of objective moral values.
  • Argument: A moral lawgiver (God) is posited to be the source of objective moral values because a perfectly good and just being can provide a foundation for these values, ensuring their objectivity and universality.

4. Conclusion

  • Conclusion: Therefore, the existence of objective moral values is best explained by the existence of God.

THE TRUTH OF IT

God’s existence confronts us with the reality that there is an ultimate, secure truth from outside ourselves that has something decisive to say about who each of us is. We cannot escape this truth. We can only submit to it or rebel against it.

  1. We are made by God (Genesis 1:26). Nothing makes itself, particularly a Cosmos as intricately designed as it is to sustain all forms of life.
  2. We are made to bear God’s image (Genesis 1:27). There is a high calling for our lives, which involves putting God’s character on display through a holy life and righteous actions.
  3. We are made with a breath of life from God (Genesis 2:7): “The Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.
  4. We have a spirit:Thus declares the Lord, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him” (Zechariah 12:1), “For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? (1 Corinth. 2:11). This is an important verse: human self-awareness, intellect, creativity, personality, and temperament – everything that enables human accomplishment come through the unseen presence of the human spirit. “Man is going to his eternal home… and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” (Ecclesiastes 12:7), “The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts.(Proverbs 20:27). When a person accepts Jesus as their Saviour and Lord, they receive the Holy Spirit from our Heavenly Father so that the spirit of man can truly be the lamp of the Lord. A lamp cannot function without oil (Holy Spirit). Our spirit was always meant to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
  5. We are made from the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7). This means that even though we were made in God’s image, we are not gods. We are creatures—finite, lacking certain power and knowledge, and wholly dependent. We are not immortal. “He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality,” (1 Timothy 6:15-16)
  6. We were made for dominion (Genesis 1:26)—to bring God’s will to God’s world.
  7. We were made to live up to a design as either a male or a female (Genesis 1:27). This is the calling for our lives.
  8. We are fallen in Adam (Genesis 3, 5:1–3Romans 5:12). Because of the fall, our identity contains sin and death. Our inner selves are corrupt. Our eternity is an eternal second death. This is the great tragedy of the modern identity worldview. It traps people in themselves. It traps us in our sin.
  9. We can be restored to glory and eternity through the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:49), the true image of God in the “dust” of human flesh (Colossians 1:15). When we accept Jesus as our Saviour and Lord our Heavenly Father sends the Holy Spirit to indwell our spirit, so it can once again be the lamp of the Lord.

ETERNAL LIFE OR ETERNAL DEATH YOU CHOOSE

If God exists and He created all things, it brings incredible responsibility upon the life of every man, woman, and child. Every individual under the sun has the responsibility to not only acknowledge their Creator but to give Him thanks for this magnificent universe. Moreover, they have an obligation to order their life around their Creator’s desires rather than their own—and this is the point where the bristling starts to happen. If God exists and He is the Creator of all things, this needs to inform the whole of one’s life. One must not only acknowledge Him as Creator and give Him thanks but we must live according to His rules. Every aspect of our lives must come under total surrender to the One who is the Author of life—and the one who rejects God surely does so on the basis of their desire to reject His authority.

It is all good and fine if there is a Creator who doesn’t impose His will upon the masses of His creation. However, the Creator has already judged the whole world on one previous occasion with a worldwide flood with only eight survivors. Moreover, His Word warns us that He intends to eventually destroy this fallen world with fire but beforehand there is Jesus’ Millennial Kingdom. He will rule and reign on this earth with resurrected and transformed believers for one thousand years. Check out, http://www.millennialkingdom.net

Atheists and agnostics for that matter stand on borrowed ground. They eat and drink borrowed food. They breathe in borrowed air and ultimately—live on borrowed time. They can no more diminish God’s glory and authority than if they were to try and blot out the light of the sun by standing before it. This is why many tend to go the route of dismissal of God’s existence to conceal their hatred of God, yet in the end, it will prove just as fruitless as an open hatred of God.

Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me… I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:1,6

Remember our Creator has gone to exceptional lengths to make Himself and the condition of the Cosmos (spiritual and physical) known to mankind and to enable us to get back into a right relationship with Him. Can we ask any more of God than He sends His Son to pay the price for our rebellion against Him and then to send the Holy Spirit to indwell the believer’s spirit to enable us to live the Christian life?

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 6:23

If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but He sent me. Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.John 8:42-45

At the end of all days, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord. There is no hope for the one who dies under the consuming wrath of God, but just as there remains no hope for those who do not believe in Christ prior to their death, there will be no lingering skepticism. There will be no doubt. There will be no unbelief. All will believe and will either go away to eternal death or eternal life. Which do you choose?

YOU TOO CAN ENCOUNTER GOD

What it takes to encounter God is complete surrender, nothing less will do. Glennys Hyland a single mum (mom) from Honduras discovered this critical truth. Like all of us Glennys struggled with the questions “Is God Real?”, “Can He, Will He help me?”

Struggling with these questions Glennys Hyland risked everything leaving her home country of Honduras. A single mom with two children immigrating to a new land, Glennys heard God say to her on the plane to America, “tell everyone that you get in contact with that I AM real”.

Sharing the real and vulnerable experiences of a woman’s daily walk with the Lord, Glennys shares in her book, “I AM REAL” how real God can be in life’s most challenging times. Through detailed recollections of the unexpected and disappointing seasons of life, Glennys tells of her struggles dealing with a spirit of fear, the sudden loss of loved ones, scars of rejection, the weight of homelessness, and overcoming sickness.

Encountering God and the practical instructions He gave her to live life in complete surrender to Him, Glennys discovered obedience resulted in constant interventions of God’s supernatural provision.

From healing for her soul, to a strong and healthy marriage, and experiencing countless souls converted to Christ Glennys shows us God is real and He wants to be real to you too.

Testimonies are powerful, make sure you use yours to good effect in the place God has put you.

WHAT IS YOUR WORLDVIEW?

According to the American Worldview Inventory 2021, nearly half of the millennials surveyed said they either don’t know, don’t care, or don’t believe that God exists. Only 26% of Gen X, and a mere 16% of millennials, understand and believe the basics of the Gospel. In addition, 31% of teens and young adults “strongly agree” that what is “morally right and wrong changes over time, based on society.”

Almost half of Americans consider abortion to be “morally acceptable,” the highest percentage to think so in the past 20 years of surveying the question, according to a new report by Gallup.

The health of the Christian worldview appears increasingly bleak. According to the American Worldview Inventory 2021, Only 26% of Gen X, and a mere 16% of millennials, understand and believe the basics of the Gospel.

Acceptance of and teaching of evolution and an earths history of billions of years in our schools and universities has relegated the Bible to the book category of myths and fables. And yet the scientific evidence of the universe points unequivocally to intelligent design. Particularly since the discovery of DNA which demonstrates that complex information controls the functioning of all the cells in the body. What is the origin of this complex information? It can only come from a mind that is beyond our comprehension. It cannot come from matter and energy by random chance this is nonsense of the highest order and yet this is what is taught in our institutes of highest learning.

Amazing facts about DNA

Fortunately, what has emerged is a new program for scientific research known as Intelligent Design. Within biology, Intelligent Design is a theory of biological origins and development. Its fundamental claim is that intelligent causes are necessary to explain the complex, information-rich structures of biology such as DNA, and that these causes are empirically detectable.

The Intelligent Design movement is growing and because it does not talk about God, in other words the mind behind the intelligence, it is harder for the establishment to attack it on the grounds that it is religion and not science.

Intelligent Design properly formulated is a theory of information. Within such a theory, information becomes a reliable indicator of intelligent causation as well as a proper object for scientific investigation. Intelligent Design thereby becomes a theory for detecting and measuring information, explaining its origin, and tracing its flow. Intelligent Design is therefore not the study of intelligent causes per se, but of informational pathways induced by intelligent causes.

As a result, Intelligent Design presupposes neither a creator nor miracles. Intelligent Design is theologically minimalist. It detects intelligence without speculating about the nature of the intelligence. Biochemist Michael Behe’s “irreducible complexity,” physicist David Bohm’s “active information,” mathematician Marcel Schützenberger’s “functional complexity,” and William Dembski’s “complex specified information” are alternate routes to the same reality.

Through this approach of critiquing Darwinism on the one hand and providing a positive alternative on the other, the Intelligent Design movement has rapidly gained adherents among the best and brightest in the academy. Already it is responsible for Darwinism losing its corner on the intellectual market. If fully successful, Intelligent Design will unseat not just Darwinism but also Darwinism’s cultural legacy. And since no aspect of western culture has escaped Darwinism’s influence, so no aspect of western culture will escape reevaluation in the light of Intelligent Design.

It is the empirical detectability of intelligent causes that renders Intelligent Design a fully scientific theory, and distinguishes it from the design arguments of philosophers, or what has traditionally been called “natural theology.” The world contains events, objects, and structures which exhaust the explanatory resources of undirected natural causes, and which can be adequately explained only by recourse to intelligent causes. Scientists are now in a position to demonstrate this rigorously. Thus what has been a long-standing philosophical intuition is now being cashed out as a scientific research program.

Where does this leave special creation? Logically speaking, Intelligent Design is compatible with the starkest creationism (i.e., God creating all species at the beginning with the potential for adaptation to the environment). For Intelligent Design the first question is not how organisms came to be (though this is a research question that needs to be addressed), but whether they demonstrate clear, empirically detectable marks of being intelligently caused.

However, the good news is that Intelligent design brings God back into existence. People must consider who is this Intelligent Designer who exists outside of His creation. Could He be the God of the Bible?

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.Romans 1:18-20

The Creator who has gone to extraordinary lengths to make Himself known, even to sending His Son to pay the price for our redemption. His book the Bible demonstrates with fulfilled prophecy that it has been constructed by God to be His Story book of this Cosmos from its beginning to its prophesied end. We know the end of the story and the last one thousand years of this Cosmos will begin in the not too distant future.
