Liberal Party decision has protected Australia from God’s judgment

Tony Abbott made a courageous, God honouring stand, to ensure there is no change to the Marriage Act in his term of Parliament. Nor can we forget the other 65 members that supported him.

Sadly the young activists supporting same sex marriage shown in the picture below marching in Brisbane August 8th, 2015 have no fear and knowledge of the one true God.

God is sovereign over nations. History shows that he uses nations for His purposes, raising up and deposing leaders, at will. King Nebuchadnezzar, greatest king of ancient Babylon (Daniel 2), is a good example as is King Cyrus (Cyrus the Great) founder of the Persian Empire (2 Chronicles 36:22) whom God used to bring the Jews back to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple.

These young people therefore have no understanding that Tony Abbott’s decision protected Australia from further judgment by God.

As the consequences of changing the Marriage Act in countries such as Canada, UK, Ireland and the USA unfold, including persecution of Christians who hold to God’s ordained role of marriage, hopefully Australia will remain a beacon of light, blessed by our Almighty God.

The church of Australia needs to understand what a blessing we have been given and therefore responsibility to pray for and support our Christian brothers and sisters in all the domains but particularly Government. As well as Tony Abbott, Glen Stevens, Governor of the Reserve Bank comes to mind, as does Mike Baird, Premier of N.S.W., all three are staunch Christians.

God’s prophet speaks imminent judgment for America

You need 36 minutes to hear this prophetic word about America given on the Presidential inauguration of Obama in 2013. It is now 2 1/2 years later and the nation has descended further into iniquity.

Further judgment is inevitable.

If you are familiar with Jonathan Cahn’s book, The Harbinger, you will know that God caused the two largest Wall Street economic collapses on the 29th of Elul (Jewish Calendar) in 2001 and 2008 . Exactly seven years to the day separated these two events. The significance of that date is, it is the last day of the God ordained Shemitah year when all debt is to be released. It is now seven years on and the 29th of Elul is Sunday, September 13th, 2015.  Even secular economists realize a stock market collapse is imminent with debt at unprecedented levels worldwide including China. The recent 30%+ drop in the Shanghai market is ominous.

This market collapse will likely cause civil unrest like we have not seen before and its impact global.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE SCIENCE, IF FACTS OF THE UNIVERSE ARE UNORDERED?

Basic to the unbeliever’s worldview is a denial of creation – the ordered arrangement of the universe according to the mind of God.

The Christian worldview is that not one piece of the created order is where it is, at the time it is, and the size it is , that is not the result of God’s ultimate plan for His creation.

Knowledge requires the ability to differentiate between individual objects (One- and- Many question). This is done by means of universals, or what we might call categories. Examples of categories would be horse, cat, chair, trees, plants and so forth. In the Christian worldview, categories or universals, are part of the creation act of God. This is what unifies everything in the universe (unity and diversity), otherwise we just have a lot of  ‘abstract particulars’ that don’t relate to anything else. Particulars (things, events, words) need something that connects them to something else that will provide meaning to the particular whatever it might be. Right at the foundation of the universe (Genesis 1) God created particulars and kinds (universals), ” The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed, each according to its kind …” Genesis 1:11-12.

In God’s own being, the Trinity, we find both unity and diversity. Christian philosopher, Cornelius Van Til recognized the question of the One-and-Many as a metaphysical issue. “Using the language of the One-and-Many question we contend that in God the one and the many are equally ultimate. Unity in God is no more fundamental than diversity and diversity in God is no more fundamental than unity.”

The doctrine of the Trinity provides a solution to the problem of knowledge , the one-and-many or universals and particulars, and therefore a solution to the issues of relationships, or community. In the Trinity the absolute self-sufficient God is both unity and diversity. Creation reveals a one-and-many universe brought into existence by a one-and-many triune God.

The universe is not an accumulation of unknowable abstractions but a creative act of God. Without such a belief in a unifying principle in the universe, science is not possible. It is the unifying principle, the common denominator, that provides order and coherence – rationality – to the universe. This is one of the unproven assumptions of science. It is no coincidence that science has grown on the back of a Christian culture and worldview.

You have a FATHER who loves you perfectly. Do you know HIM?

Adam and Eve expelled

Adam walked and talked face to face with his FATHER in the garden of Eden. Adam knew GOD as HE knew Adam – there was no separation. Adam knew his value and the proof of that value was his assignment to be like HIM, to partner with HIM having dominion over all of HIS creation.

GOD’S enemy, Satan (the father of lies) knew the FATHER’S one desire is for HIS children to know HIM. The battle has always been over intimacy in its purest form, between the ONE who is love and the ones who were created to receive HIS love. This battle had its front lines in the garden of Eden. One bite of the supernatural fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil set into motion questions that would emanate from every human from Adam and Eve forward: “Is HE good or is HE evil?” and “Can HE be trusted?” Doubt was inspired by the mind of reason that had limited perspective based on a lie.

Generations later the battle continues to rage as GOD’S children wonder if they are loved and valued. We, the sons and daughters of GOD who couldn’t be more loved or valued, live as orphans with rejection complexes that cause us to look at every circumstance as proof of whether our FATHER loves us rather than going straight to HIM to experience HIS love for ourselves.

“In this the love of GOD was manifested toward us, that GOD has sent HIS only begotten SON into the world that we might live through HIM.” 1 John 4:9

The world lives as if GOD does not exist and if HE does, HE really watches from a distance to see how we’ll do without HIM.

Nothing could be further from the truth but you won’t know that GOD can be known and experienced until you dare to believe that HE wants to be known. You can gain access to all of HIS supernatural solutions to your problems.

Intimacy is a choice. It requires time and desire. Intimacy with the FATHER produces the knowledge of GOD, in which you know that HE is good and can be trusted. The choice is yours, start living eternal now.

DEFEND THE BIBLE – GO ON THE OFFENSIVE

There is now so much evidence which proves the Bible is trustworthy that Christians properly equipped can go on the offensive rather than go on the defensive as so many do when challenged as to the veracity of Scripture’s claims.

The many fulfilled Bible prophesies, such as Isaiah’s prophesy that a Persian king would arise with the name Cyrus – around 150 years before the event occurred. Three hundred prophesies in the Old Testament (OT) of the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus that all occurred exactly as prophesied.

In the field of archaeology, the Bible has been confirmed accurate by numerous archaeological discoveries. The Hittites were presumed to be a mythical tribe because no physical evidence had been found. That was until a huge ‘City of the Hittites was uncovered.  The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls as late as 1947 with an almost complete copy of Isaiah in which there are so many of the prophesies of Jesus life, death by crucifixion and resurrection. As a result, the Bible is regarded as “the most accurate history book in the world”(The Archaeology of the New Testament by E.M.Blaiklock). Considering this fact alone, one can logically assume that its other historical claims in Genesis such as a real Adam and Eve and a global Flood are also true.

In the New Testament (NT), scholars used to be skeptical about John’s description of the Pool of Siloam in Jerusalem, but archaeology showed that John’s description was accurate (which also proved that the gospel of John was authored by someone who had been in Jerusalem before the AD 70 destruction, which fits very well with the Apostle John being the author). John and all the NT authors – and even Jesus himself – believed and quoted from Genesis more than any other book in the Bible.

It is in the area of Genesis Creation where the rubber really hits the road, and where Creation Ministries has truly shone with evidence that recent discoveries particularly on DNA (Information Theory) and the function of cells have demonstrated the futility of evolution with its proposed mechanisms of natural selection and mutation. The Bible is trustworthy, including its claims about sin and salvation. Jesus is who he said He is. He is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus believed Genesis was true history then I suggest so should we.

ETERNITY IN HEAVEN OR HELL?

It is evident from the current fallen state of the human race, that we do not live on a planet that resembles paradise, where harmony exists and where death is absent. This is because two people, Adam and Eve decided to disobey God, even after all that God had provided for them, an awesome home (Earth), a beautiful garden with abundant food, the ability to procreate and have dominion over it all.

People alive today have the same choice as Adam and Eve  that is to obey God or reject Him and face the consequences of separation from God, only this time forever, with no second chance.

Jesus , the Son of God , gave Himself as a sacrifice for the payment of sin, not just for Adam and Eve, but for the sins of everyone who ever lived. We, therefore, have a choice to repent of our sin (disobedience) and accept Jesus offer of a new life with Him as Lord and Saviour or stay separated from God forever.

Today, instead of just one fallen angel deceiving two people, we have Satan and his demonic forces as well as two billion people who are against Jesus and deny God. There are global media corporations, government schools and universities that promote the theory of evolution and mock religion. Despite this seeming overwhelming force against God the choice is still the same, it’s a choice of heaven or hell, whether you believe it or not.

The stakes are high because we all face judgment and then eternity in a new heaven and earth with your Creator God or eternity in hell without Him.

 

THE BIBLE: the only basis for objective morality

THE MORAL PRINCIPLES THAT HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED AS SELF EVIDENT AND WHICH FORM THE BASIS OF OUR LAW CODES WERE DERIVED FROM THE BIBLE.

WESTERN SOCIETY TRADITIONALLY HELD THE BIBLE AND THE TEN COMMANDMENTS TO BE THE STANDARD OF HOW WE SHOULD ACT.

The Bible’s teachings and the concept of God as the moral law giver, became the overarching influence of our  western civilization. Sadly more and more people are totally ignorant of that fact and of what the Bible teaches. Whilst the Australian Federal Parliament is still opened with a reading of The Lord’s Prayer there is a strong move led by Greens Leader, Senator Richard di Natale to end the reading of prayers at the start of each sitting day. As the Bible (God’s Word) is increasingly marginalized (even in some churches), so is the Bible’s authority in areas such as morality. Young people in particular start to experience confusion regarding what used to be considered basic moral principles. Many have decided they can make up their own rules because there are no moral absolutes. This is exactly what a recent New York Times survey amongst young people reported. This is of course the logical moral outcome of the teaching of evolution and the survival of the fittest in our schools and universities.

If we want our children to be able to tell right from wrong, and to have an objective basis for doing so, the answer is a wholesale return to God’s Word as the authority in our lives. We need to be able to defend what we believe and trust the Bible in everything it teaches.

The falling away which we see happening in the world is prophetically revealed in the Bible so we shouldn’t be surprised. God is sovereign and He is working out His plans and purposes in the world. He has judged nations down through history and he is still doing so. Nations that reject God’s laws can expect His judgment. As reported on this website, Jonathan Cahn shows America has already received nine harbingers (warnings) from God and His judgment will only escalate unless the nation repents and turns back to God.

We are so blessed that our Heavenly Father has sent the Holy Spirit to indwell every born again believer to be our counsellor, comforter and teacher. God has a plan and purpose for each one of us and He will direct our paths if we allow Him – Lord, not my will, but Your will be done today, needs to be our daily prayer.

May the fruit of the Holy Spirit be evident in our lives: love, joy, peace, faith, patience, goodness, gentleness, kindness and self control and may the gifts of the spirit be flowing in our churches so we start impacting the world for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

“Division is the work of the ‘Father of Lies,’ ‘the Father of Discord,’ who does everything possible to keep us divided,” Pope Francis said in a video message to a gathering sponsored by the John 17 Movement, according to Catholic Herald.

“I feel like saying something that may sound controversial, or even heretical, perhaps,” he added. “But there is someone who ‘knows’ that, despite our differences, we are one. It is he who is persecuting us. It is he who is persecuting Christians today, he who is anointing us with (the blood of) martyrdom.”

Francis added that the devil “knows that Christians are disciples of Christ, that they are one, that they are brothers! He doesn’t care if they are Evangelicals or Orthodox, Lutherans, Catholics or Apostolic … he doesn’t care! They are Christians.”

The Roman Catholic Church leader insisted that “division is a wound in the body of the church of Christ. And we do not want this wound to remain open,” he said, urging for Christians to seek unity together and pray for one another.

The video was shared with the John 17 Movement in Phoenix, inspired by the passage in the Bible in which Jesus prays for the unity of his disciples.

The movement says on its official website that its vision is for Christians to respond to the final prayer of Jesus.

“On the eve of His death, He pleaded: “Father, may all who believe in me be one so the world will know you sent me.” This final plea stands as the most authoritative strategic direction for followers of Jesus,” the movement says.

JERUSALEM May 21st, 2015 — George O. Wood, general superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church (USA) and chairman of the World AG Fellowship, considered the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination with more than 67 million adherents, said Wednesday that young people are leaving traditional churches that have “abandoned a belief in the authority of Scripture.”

Responding to a question asking how the Empowered21 movement is doing among young people, considering reports that many are moving away from the church in general, Wood explained that it’s not the case for Empowered21.

“All I can do is tell you our statistics in the USA,” began Wood.

“We (AG USA) have 3.1 million young people in the USA and 34 percent of them are under the age of 25. … The young people that are moving away from traditional religious structures in the U.S. typically belong to churches which have abandoned a belief in the authority of Scripture and the uniqueness and centrality, and exclusiveness of Jesus Christ,” said Wood.

“They have no belief to hang on to since that has all been gutted by those who have chosen, under the guise of religion, to reject the very claims of the founder of the religion,” he said.

“This movement is very attractive to young people around the world because it believes we can experience God. We don’t just talk about Him, we don’t just think about Him, we actually can experience Him,” said William Wilson, co-chair of Empowered21.

“There is a whole generation of young men and women who are looking for purpose and really want their life to count and the radical message of Jesus Christ gives them that opportunity. In an expression, they can experience God in reality, so we’re seeing explosive growth in many parts of the movement among young people. It’s exciting,” said Wilson

Roman Catholic Ireland has just voted to legalize Gay Marriage.

“The once-dominant Catholic Church in Ireland is trying to come to terms with an overwhelming vote in favour of gay marriage … the faithful attended mass to hear their priests reflect on the new social landscape. ‘The Church has to find a new language which will be understood and heard by people,’ Archbishop of Dublin Diarmuid Martin told reporters after mass at the city’s St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral.

” ‘We have to see how is it that the Church’s teaching on marriage and family is not being received even within its own flock.’ ”

My wife exclaimed to me when she heard that Ireland had just voted to legalize gay marriage, “how could this happen in Catholic Ireland”?

The answer is both simple and profound. Ireland has lost so many tens of thousands of Catholic adherents for the same reason the Catholic Church the world over has lost so many — the scandal of gay deviant priests preying upon innocent children within the church has gotten so deep and so dreadful that families have been leaving in droves for years.

The pressure for Tony Abbott to legalize gay marriage is now increasing exponentially. After the Ireland announcement, listen to what the Opposition Leader Bill Shorten, who is in favour of marriage equality, said, “Mr Abbott now needs explain why the Government is unwilling to pursue the change. If the Irish people can vote in favour of marriage equality, the question has to be asked, what is Tony Abbott’s problem with it?” he said. “Most places in the world are dealing with marriage equality, why is Tony Abbott stopping Australia becoming a more modern nation?”

The world is quickly shedding God’s moral standards and sadly so much of the church no longer holds to God’s Word as TRUTH and it is infallible/inerrant. As a result, many church denominations have accepted gay marriage, gay priests along with other heresies.

Those nations, such as the U.S.A, that legalized abortion and have progressively taken God out its life, which now includes embracing gay marriage, are already under God’s judgment but don’t recognize it, and that judgment is set to escalate – see my posts on Jonathan Cahn, God’s prophet to America.

Prophesied last days events are unfolding rapidly, people who don’t know God and His Word will be shattered as it becomes obvious that governments are no longer in control and anarchy abounds.

I believe, it will be opportunity time for Christians as we understand what is happening. If we stay close to God, and allow the Holy Spirit to direct our activities, His church will bear much fruit in these last days.
