Ben Carson Calls America’s Relationship With Faith ‘Schizophrenia’.

GOP Presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson vowed to wage a war on what he called “Politically Correct (P.C.) police” before the Free Chapel megachurch in Gainesville, Georgia, on Sunday morning. He also described America’s relationship with faith as “schizophrenia,” noting that faith-positive messages are displayed on U.S. currency, yet there is an aversion to talk about religion.

“The pledge of allegiance to our flag says we are one nation under God. Many courtrooms in the land, on the wall it says ‘In God We Trust.’ Every coin in our pocket, every bill in our wallet says ‘In God We Trust,’” Carson told the thousands who came to listen to his speech at the megachurch, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Carson took time to sign copies of his book, A More Perfect Union, and said that people have been asking him why he is entering the political fray after a successful career as a neurosurgeon.

Ben Carson A Perfect Union

“Well, I’ll tell you why: it’s because America is worth saving. If that means getting into a war with the PC police, I’m ready to fight that war. And I hope you will join me,” the GOP candidate said.

The retired neurosurgeon attracted controversy last week for comments he made about the Oregon shooting massacre, when he suggested he would have done more than the other students, had he been at the scene of the crime.

“I would not just stand there and let him shoot me,” Carson said on “Fox & Friends,” talking about the Umpqua Community College rampage that led to the deaths of 10 people.

“I would say, ‘Hey, guys, everybody attack him. He may shoot me, but he can’t get us all.'”

Only a man, with faith in God’s promise of eternal life, would confidently make such a comment.

Help solve the refugee crisis – 7 Steps Aussie’s can take.

This article by David Leyonhjelm, Contributor, The Daily Reckoning makes a worthwhile contribution to the problem. I am sure you won’t agree with all of his suggestions but it will challenge most of us.

“Calls to solve the Middle East refugee crisis have been loud but vague; so here’s my guide to dealing with the situation compassionately and effectively.

Image result for pics Syrian refugees

Invite a refugee family to stay at your place: Contact the Refugee Council, Uniting Church or Red Cross to offer your spare room to someone in need. After all, just going to a rally or signing a petition is a bit vacuous. When you said, ‘welcome more refugees’, didn’t that mean you would welcome them? Or did you think that someone else would do it?

Employ a refugee, or let someone else do so: Most refugees want to work. If you’re not in a position to offer a job, don’t prevent others from doing so. Many lack the language or skills to jump straight into a $17.29 an hour gig, yet would gladly take a job that pays more than welfare. Exempt refugees from the minimum wage. Many Australians who dislike welfare-dependent refugees would be more welcoming if they paid their way via employment.

Cut foreign aid: Doubling our refugee intake would cost a billion dollars, but if we cut foreign aid by the same amount, taxpayers who worry about the cost of helping foreigners would have nothing to complain about. We’d still fund short-term humanitarian assistance, because cutting a billion dollars from foreign aid still leaves billions more. And we’d do more good for foreigners by bringing them here than channelling cash to corrupt local elites.

Think global, act local: While there are millions fleeing the Middle East, there are also millions fleeing trouble spots closer to home — Burma, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Taking refugees from our region would do as much good as from Syria (although persecuted Christians from Syria should be fast tracked*). And realistically, we have more capacity to assimilate Buddhists, Hindus and Christians to our way of life and liberal democracy than we do Muslims.

Let economic refugees pay to get here: Plenty are fleeing their homelands because of mayhem and poverty, not persecution. Instead of them paying people smugglers to get here, and our Government then paying the people smugglers to send them back, we should accept economic refugees for a fee — to prove to sceptical taxpayers that economic refugees need not be a budget burden, and would ensure those most able to hit the ground running in the workplace are the ones who choose to make Australia home.

Let people in as interim second-class residents: Australians would accept a much higher intake, if migrants did not immediately have access to taxpayer‑funded welfare, healthcare, housing and education as citizens. They would also accept a much higher intake if the hurdle to obtain citizenship were higher. Some will argue that they don’t want a two-tiered system in Australia, but if we ask potential migrants if they want to come even without access to our social welfare system, I’m pretty sure what most would say.

Be the best we can be: Economic development and growth isn’t just in our own interest. It means we can afford to be the most altruistic country on the planet. So listen to those who want to approve developments, cut red tape, remove industry protectionism, and get resources out of the public sector into the private sector: they’re the most compassionate Aussies around.”

The Abundant Life God Promises

No doubt, you have heard, as I have, messages from prominent preachers promising you health, wealth and happiness through coming to Jesus. There are verses in the 66 books of the Bible that support this premise but there is plenty of evidence in the scriptures and lives of Christians including the Apostles, that present a very different view.

“They were stoned, they were sawn into two, they were killed with the sword…..destitute, afflicted, mistreated” Hebrews 11:37

There is happiness that comes from the abundant life God promises to the believer (John 10:10). Moreover the Gospel has transformed societies and even nations with amazing benefits. Peace and joy does come from the indwelling Holy Spirit that assures us our sins are forgiven, FOREVER and as our relationship  with God deepens our lives are transformed into the likeness of Jesus.

In a real sense, the benefits are a side effect of the Gospel. They are an adjunct to the main game, which is all about God and the eternal relationship He desires with us.

We trust God and His Word and look forward to the promised New Heaven and New Earth. In the meantime we get on with accomplishing His plan and purpose for our lives.

God’s prophet speaks imminent judgment for America

You need 36 minutes to hear this prophetic word about America given on the Presidential inauguration of Obama in 2013. It is now 2 1/2 years later and the nation has descended further into iniquity.

Further judgment is inevitable.

If you are familiar with Jonathan Cahn’s book, The Harbinger, you will know that God caused the two largest Wall Street economic collapses on the 29th of Elul (Jewish Calendar) in 2001 and 2008 . Exactly seven years to the day separated these two events. The significance of that date is, it is the last day of the God ordained Shemitah year when all debt is to be released. It is now seven years on and the 29th of Elul is Sunday, September 13th, 2015.  Even secular economists realize a stock market collapse is imminent with debt at unprecedented levels worldwide including China. The recent 30%+ drop in the Shanghai market is ominous.

This market collapse will likely cause civil unrest like we have not seen before and its impact global.

ETERNITY IN HEAVEN OR HELL?

Hell

It is evident from the current fallen state of the human race, that we do not live on a planet that resembles paradise, where harmony exists and where death is absent. This is because two people, Adam and Eve decided to disobey God, even after all that God had provided for them, an awesome home (Earth), a beautiful garden with abundant food, the ability to procreate and have dominion over it all.

People alive today have the same choice as Adam and Eve  that is to obey God or reject Him and face the consequences of separation from God, only this time forever, with no second chance.

Jesus , the Son of God , gave Himself as a sacrifice for the payment of sin, not just for Adam and Eve, but for the sins of everyone who ever lived. We, therefore, have a choice to repent of our sin (disobedience) and accept Jesus offer of a new life with Him as Lord and Saviour or stay separated from God forever.

Today, instead of just one fallen angel deceiving two people, we have Satan and his demonic forces as well as two billion people who are against Jesus and deny God. There are global media corporations, government schools and universities that promote the theory of evolution and mock religion. Despite this seeming overwhelming force against God the choice is still the same, it’s a choice of heaven or hell, whether you believe it or not.

The stakes are high because we all face judgment and then eternity in a new heaven and earth with your Creator God or eternity in hell without Him.

Young Leaving Churches That ‘Abandoned Belief in Authority of Scripture,’ Says Head of World’s Largest Pentecostal Denomination

Spirit-Empowered Leaders Gather for What Could Be Largest Christian Pentecost Celebration in Israel’s Modern History

Dr. George O. Wood

JERUSALEM May 21st, 2015 — George O. Wood, general superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church (USA) and chairman of the World AG Fellowship, considered the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination with more than 67 million adherents, said Wednesday that young people are leaving traditional churches that have “abandoned a belief in the authority of Scripture.”

Responding to a question asking how the Empowered21 movement is doing among young people, considering reports that many are moving away from the church in general, Wood explained that it’s not the case for Empowered21.

“All I can do is tell you our statistics in the USA,” began Wood.

“We (AG USA) have 3.1 million young people in the USA and 34 percent of them are under the age of 25. … The young people that are moving away from traditional religious structures in the U.S. typically belong to churches which have abandoned a belief in the authority of Scripture and the uniqueness and centrality, and exclusiveness of Jesus Christ,” said Wood.

“They have no belief to hang on to since that has all been gutted by those who have chosen, under the guise of religion, to reject the very claims of the founder of the religion,” he said.

“This movement is very attractive to young people around the world because it believes we can experience God. We don’t just talk about Him, we don’t just think about Him, we actually can experience Him,” said William Wilson, co-chair of Empowered21.

“There is a whole generation of young men and women who are looking for purpose and really want their life to count and the radical message of Jesus Christ gives them that opportunity. In an expression, they can experience God in reality, so we’re seeing explosive growth in many parts of the movement among young people. It’s exciting,” said Wilson

BOY, 5, TEACHES US HOW TO ADMINISTER GOD’S GRACE

A BOY of five brought the customers at a fast food restaurant to tears when he said grace with a homeless man he had just got dinner for.

Josiah Duncan’s act of kindness came after his mum, Ava Faulk, had taken him to eat at the Waffle House in Prattville, Alabama.

He saw the homeless man standing outside with his bike and was so troubled by his appearance he began asking his mum about him. When his mum explained the man had no home or food Josiah urged her to buy him dinner. She did just that.

“He came in and sat down, and nobody really waited on him,” Ms Faulk told local network WSFA 12. “So Josiah jumped up and asked him if he needed a menu because you can’t order without one.”

The unidentified man was at first shy and ordered only a cheap hamburger but after Ms Faulk told him he could get anything he wanted he got the works.

Before the man began eating Josiah insisted on saying grace with him, bringing the other 11 diners in the restaurant to tears.

“The man cried. I cried. Everybody cried,” Ms Faulk said.

“You never know who the angel on Earth is, and when the opportunity comes you should never walk away from it,” she added. “Watching my son touch the 11 people in that Waffle House tonight will be forever one of the greatest accomplishments as a parent I’ll ever get to witness.

IS THIS ISAIAH’S PROPHECY OF GOD’S JUDGMENT ON EGYPT?

“Egypt’s Prophetic Tsunami”, one of the judgments God delivers against Egypt in Isaiah 19 is unprecedented Civil War!

Egypt’s prophesied civil war may be close, as government has issued a Death Penalty to former President Morsi, a Muslim Brotherhood leader. Immediately two judges are assassinated by the Brotherhood in protest

Isaiah 19 foretells two major events occurring in Egypt that will deliver her End Times destruction. These two events are: 1) Her government will turn severely dictatorial and will oppress the people. This oppressive government will spark a civil war in which Egyptian kills Egyptian; 2) The Nile River will inexplicably rise up in huge volume and will destroy Egypt’s ability to feed herself. Ethiopia’s Renaissance Dam is so poorly designed and built that it could burst, sending a tsunami wave all along the Nile River in Egypt. But that’s not the end of the story.
After pronouncing a death sentence on Egypt by the rampaging flood waters from the Nile River, God turns in great mercy to pronounce a millennia of blessing upon the Egyptian people!   DVD by David Bay available from http://www.cuttingedge.org

“The burden of Egypt … and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof….” (Isaiah 19:1-3)

God will cause this civil war to result in the most severe Absolute Dictatorship imaginable. When you read this prophecy, you have to wonder if the Muslim Brotherhood might be swept back into power.

“And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts.” (Isaiah 19:4)

Make no mistake about it; President Sisi is stirring up intense hatred from supporters of the Egyptian Brotherhood. Civil War is a logical outcome if Sisi carries out executions of several hundred dissidents.

Two Egypt judges killed hours after Morsi sentence to death“, The Australian, May 18, 2015

“The assassination of two Egyptian judges and a prosecutor in the volatile Sinai Peninsula has raised concern of payback from Islamic extremists for the sentencing to death of deposed president Mohamed Morsi. The court officers were gunned down hours after Morsi was condemned to die by a Cairo judge … The attack took place in the provincial capital of El-Arish in the Sinai, where security forces are locked in a bloody struggle with an offshoot of Islamic State. A driver and second prosecutor were wounded when gunmen opened fire, killing the three judicial officials as they were being driven to court.”

This strong reaction attack was accompanied by warnings of several top Middle East officials that Egypt will face exceedingly strong reaction if they do execute Morsi.

Strong Egypt Party Warns: Regime dragging Egypt into civil war “, Middle East Monitor, May 18, 2015

“The Strong Egypt Party has criticized the ruling regime saying it will drag the country into ‘civil war’. Headed by Dr Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh, a former presidential candidate, the party’s remarks came in response to the execution of six people … He warned that “the Egyptian regime’s unprecedented escalation against its opponents over the past few days will drag the country into civil strife.”

Middle East turmoil if Morsi executed: Turkey warns“, The Daily Star (Lebanon), May 18, 2015

“ANKARA: Turkey’s presidential spokesman said Monday that the Middle East would be thrown into turmoil if death sentences handed down in Egypt to former President Mohammad Morsi and other senior Islamist figures were carried out. Ibrahim Kalin told a news conference in Ankara that Turkey would work with the U.N. Human Rights Commission following the sentences, and take ‘all necessary steps’ … Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan is a vocal supporter of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood.”

As we see more end time Bible prophecies being fulfilled, our confidence in the authority and truth of God’s Word (The Bible) is strengthened and hopefully will result in more Christians being challenged to speak out the Gospel of Christ boldly and courageously.

PUT GOD FIRST SAYS DENZEL WASHINGTON

Denzel Washington received a prophesy in his mother’s beauty salon in 1987. In the video below, he relates, it changed his life and has proved to be true. The prophesy said, he would travel the world and be a witness for God and the GOSPEL.

He is still witnessing powerfully for God today. “PUT GOD FIRST IN EVERYTHING YOU DO” is how he starts his speech to graduate students at Dillard University. Take a look, it is a wonderful witness to students about to start work in this increasingly chaotic world.

This is the second post I have put on livingeternal.net showing Denzel Washington witnessing to God’s goodness and faithfulness. The love of God is the reason why Denzel is such a faithful witness but let me tell you he is building up treasure in heaven, which is eternal.

MARILYN MOSBY – GOD’S ESTHER for African Americans

Baltimore’s State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby on Freddie Gray Case: God ‘Put Me in This Position for a Reason’

marilyn-mosbymarilyn-mosby (1)

Marilyn Mosby prays with church leaders, including Bishop Angel Nunez, during a prayer breakfast in Baltimore, Maryland, on April 28, 2014

Baltimore’s State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby, the woman who criminally charged six police officers in the death of Freddie Gray on Friday, is a practicing Christian who declared at a recent prayer breakfast that God “put me in this position for a reason.”

“Mosby is a Christian, she loves the Lord. She’s part of our Multicultural Prayer Movement. I was in her office last week. I took her hands and we prayed together, and we wept and I prayed over her and I said: ‘God has raised you a woman of God for such a time as this. This is why God put you here and we stand with you.’ The woman depends on the Lord. This is a 35-year-old woman, an Esther in this hour,” said Bishop Angel Nunez, who leads Baltimore’s Multicultural Prayer Movement, in an interview with The Christian Post on Friday.

On Tuesday at the Bilingual Christian Church, Mosby spoke with members of the Multicultural Prayer Movement group, of which she is also a member. At one point church leaders, including Nunez who has been her friend for five years, gathered around her and prayed.

“I was reminded of Isaiah 41 verse 10,” Mosby, who recalled once having self-doubt while seeking election as Baltimore’s state’s attorney, told the congregants.

“Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

And that is what kept me grounded whenever I had that self-doubt, whenever I said this is too much for me to handle as a wife, as a mother, as an attorney. I’ve got to tell you that God got me through and I have to believe that He put me here for a reason,” she said.

“So we will pursue justice by any and all means necessary. I appreciate your support Bishop [Nunez], you’ve been there for me from the very beginning,” Mosby added, before alluding to the riots which appeared to come to a halt after charges in Gray’s death were announced.

“Nothing transcends the power of prayer and let me tell you, our young people, I know that they’re called ‘thugs.’ Those are young people crying out; there’s a sense of hopelessness in this city and there’s nobody that can touch them the way that you all can, the way that we can …”
