THE TRUTH ABOUT ISLAM

Historian and author Raymond Ibrahim joins The Winston Marshall Show for a powerful, eye-opening conversation on the hidden history of Islam’s conquest of the Christian world—and why so few dare to speak about it today. Raymond traces the rapid Islamic expansion following Muhammad’s death, showing how, within just one century, Muslim armies had violently overrun three-quarters of the original Christian world—from Syria and Egypt to Spain and deep into Europe. He dismantles the myth of Andalusian “tolerance,” reveals the brutal realities behind the so-called Islamic Golden Age, and explains how the Islamic conquests shattered the Mediterranean world, plunging Europe into the Dark Ages. Raymond explores the modern censorship around Christian persecution, the resurgence of historical jihadist rhetoric in groups like ISIS, and the urgent lessons today’s leaders refuse to learn. All this—the real story of the Crusades, the lost Christian heartlands, the enduring legacy of conquest, and the history the mainstream media won’t touch…

Key takeaways from the interview with Winston Marshall include:

  1. Within the space of 100 years, after the death of Mohammed, by 732, Muslims were overtaking Europe by violent conquest. There was no tolerance, harmony between Judaism,  Christians and Muslims.  Christianity was denigrated, and it was convert, pay Jizya, or die. Jizya is money paid by non- Muslims so that they can keep practising their religion.  (Under Islamic law,  if the money is not paid, the people are to be enslaved or killed.)
  2. Three-quarters of the Christian world was conquered and has not been recovered.
  3. Once a Territory is taken by Islam, even though they are defeated and expelled from that region, Islam believes it always belongs to them and must be retaken.
  4. The Eastern world included Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, and Morocco. They were more Christian in numbers and belief than Europe at that time. (In fact, the Coptic Christians from Egypt were instrumental in spreading the Gospel in Europe.) Each country was violently conquered. As was Israel.
  5. The Slavic nations got their name from the fact that Islam conquered the area and enslaved the populace. Slavery was their bread and butter.
  6. The Vikings supplied white slaves to the Muslims.
  7. The exploration of the New World by Christopher Columbus came about because of the constant threat of Muslim invasion of Spain. The quest was a fallback plan if all else failed.
  8. The very first war fought by the new United States of America was against the barbarism of the Barbary Pirates. A series of two wars were fought from 1801-1805. The North African slave traders ramped up their aggressive posture by shifting their focus to KIDNAPPING and holding for ransom. The pirates, based in modern-day Tunisia, Libya, and Morocco, demanded tribute for ‘safe passage’ through the Mediterranean. The newly minted American nation refused to negotiate with terrorists and defeated them.
  9. The times may change. The playbook remains the same.

CHRISTIANITY IS SURGING IN IRAN

As the conflict between Israel and Iran’s terrorist proxy group Hezbollah in Lebanon widens, reports continue to surface of a growing division between the Iranian people and the Islamist regime of Ali Khamenei. Even as anti-Israel and anti-America protests get most of the attention in Iran, a burgeoning Christian movement is occurring under the surface, an expert on Iranian Christians says.

In Iran, Christianity is intensely persecuted, except small historical Armenian and Assyrian communities. Conversion from Islam to Christianity is considered apostasy and can be punished with death. Still, some reports suggest that conversions to Christianity and support for democracy are on the rise, with as many as 80% of Iranian citizens anonymously supporting a democratic government. In addition, some outlets have reported that hundreds of mosques have closed due to the rising number of Iranians leaving Islam.

Hormoz Shariat is the president of Iran Alive Ministries. It broadcasts the gospel message via satellite TV programs in the Farsi language in predominantly Muslim countries like Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. On Monday, he joined “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” to discuss how an increasing number of Iranians do not support the Islamist regime’s attacks on Israel and are converting to Christianity.

“[Iranians] have experienced Islam and Islamic rule firsthand for over 40 years,” he noted. “And they’ve come to the conclusion, if the problem is not just the government, the problem is Islam itself. That’s why we see a high number of Iranian Muslims come to Christ because they have not just rejected the government, they have rejected Islam. There is such a gap … between the government and the people. So when the government puts on these rallies saying, ‘Death to Israel, death to America,’ the people of Iran say, ‘We love Israel, we love America.’ And that’s the trend.”

Shariat also pointed out that there were also many Iranian Americans who came out in support of Israel after the October 7 Hamas attack.

“We know that the media covered … the pro-Palestine, pro-Hamas demonstrations in America,” he noted. “You saw it everywhere. You saw it on campuses. You saw it on the street. You saw it in Washington, D.C. But you did not see all the Iranians who came on the streets even in America, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and San Diego, everywhere. Iranians came out pro-Israel. Not even one Iranian rally was pro-Palestine, and the media did not cover that. Iranians are pro-Israel.”

Shariat further described how his ministry has spread. “[W]e … have a 24/7 satellite broadcast going over the heads of the mullahs — they cannot stop the signal from the sky. We go into people’s homes, millions of homes. [A]n independent survey [found] that we have seven million viewers daily. So we go into people’s homes, tell them about God’s love, and guess what? They are ready. Iranians are rejecting Islam. They’re ready for the message of the gospel.”

According to Shariat, a spiritual awakening is currently occurring in Iran. “It’s a move of God, and God uses suffering, and Iranians have suffered for 40-some years. … So there is an openness among Iranians. … God has used [suffering] to open their minds, open their eyes towards Islam. They … have rejected Islam [but] not [out] of emotion and [not from making an] overnight decision.”

Shariat asked for continued prayers for his ministry and Christians in Iran.

MUSLIM TURNED RIGHTS ACTIVIST AYAAN HIRSI ALI NOW A CHRISTIAN

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a former Muslim and renowned critic of Islam, has revealed her conversion to Christianity, describing her journey from Islam to atheism and ultimately to Christianity.

On Nov. 11, 2024, activist and author Ayaan Hirsi Ali published an essay titled “Why I am Now a Christian.” Her declaration has understandably made waves. For 20 years, Ali has written, spoken, and acted as a committed atheist. Rejecting the Islamic teachings she was indoctrinated with during her teenage years, she has long argued for secularism as the needed lens for furthering humanity and countering the world’s evils so often perpetrated by religious dogma. Hence, her conversion to Christianity is not being well received by the media.

Ali grounds the explanation for her conversion on the usefulness of Christianity. I do not mean “useful” in a trite way, as one might find a spoon more helpful to eat soup than a fork. Ali sees the use of Christianity as fundamental on a societal and personal level. In this way, Ali grounds her turn to Christianity on the same principles that led her to reject God and organized religion. She now sees Christianity not as a foe to her cause but as a needed ally.

Hirsi Ali traces her initial disillusionment with Islam following the 9/11 terrorist attacks when she questioned the justifications for the attacks in the name of Islam. During her teenage years in Nairobi, Hirsi Ali says she was influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood, which instilled in her a strict interpretation of Islam.- This period was characterized by a strict adherence to religious practices and a deep-seated disdain for non-Muslims, particularly Jews. However, her later exposure to atheism through figures like Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins provided a stark contrast to her previous beliefs.

Hirsi Ali attributes her turn to Christianity to a broader concern for the challenges facing Western civilization. She cites threats from authoritarian regimes, global Islamism, and “woke” ideology as catalysts for seeking a unifying force. Christianity, in her view, offers a foundation of values and traditions that uphold human life, freedom, and dignity, and counters the divisiveness she associates with atheism.

Responding to her embrace of the Christian faith, conservative Christian philosopher Dr. Robert George wrote on Facebook: “Two decades ago, under the influence of the writings of Bertrand Russell, she became an atheist. Her thought was that atheism was smart and sophisticated — it was allegedly what really intelligent people believed (the ‘brights,’ as Daniel Dennett embarrassingly labeled himself and his fellow unbelievers). It was the way to a world of rationality and civil liberty. Hirsi Ali is not the first to have gone down that misguided path. She now sees that it is indeed misguided and that there is, if I may quote scripture, a more excellent way.

Hirsi Ali’s embrace of Christianity also stems from a personal quest for spiritual solace and meaning in life.

Hirsi Ali critiques atheism as leaving a “God hole,” which she believes has led to the rise of irrational ideologies and the erosion of Western values. She argues that Christianity provides a unifying story and foundational texts, similar to those in Islam, that can engage and mobilize people.

Christians should be thankful for Ali’s essay. It no doubt took plenty of courage to make, given her past commitments and social circle. The author of this article Adam Carrington, an associate professor of politics at Hillsdale College made the following comment. “We also should exercise cautious support of her. She mentions at the end of her essay that “I still have a great deal to learn about Christianity. I discover a little more at church each Sunday.” Judging by her essay, she still might need guidance in seeing the centrality of grace in Christianity and how that grace is most manifest in the person and work of the Son of God, made flesh. Sometimes, those truths take time to know and to feel. In some sense, we spend our entire lives trying to rest in God’s grace, not save ourselves as is the normal human inclination.

But we also should be thankful that Ali sees the political and social goods of Christianity, historically and today. In its witness, we see the dignity of humanity made in the image of its Creator. In its doctrine, we see the need for politics that protects the innocent, punishes the guilty, and guards the right. In Christianity, we also see the need for mercy, not just from God, but with each other as neighbors and citizens.

That such commitments to dignity, law, and mercy seem obvious to so many of us is not the insight of secular humanism. Ali has joined us in seeing its origins in the God revealed in the Bible.

10 YEARS IN PRISON FOR HOSTING A HOUSE CHURCH IN IRAN

The Revolutionary Court of Tehran has sentenced an Iranian-Armenian Christian man to 10 years in prison for establishing a house church, which the judge called “propaganda contrary to and disturbing to the holy religion of Islam,” according to reports.

Saba Kord Afshari is just 22 years old. In August 2019, the Revolutionary Court of Tehran sentenced her to 24 years in prison for opposing the compulsory hijab.

Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, headed by Judge Afshari, sentenced Anooshavan Avedian, 60, to 10 years of imprisonment, alongside two others who are members of his house church — Abbas Soori, 45, and Maryam Mohammadi, 46 — both of whom are converts to Christianity, Human Rights Activists News Agency reported.

Article 18, a U.K.-based organization that promotes religious freedom in Iran, reported that Soori and Mohammadi received a range of non-custodial punishments, including a fine of about $2,000 (500 million rials) and a 10-year ban from membership in social and political groups as well as a two-year exile outside Tehran. In addition, they must regularly report to the offices of the Ministry of Intelligence.

The three were convicted on the charge of “organizing and running an Evangelical ‘Zionist’ home church with the intention to act against national security” and “maintaining satellite dish and receivers.”

They were first arrested in August 2020 when about 30 intelligence agents raided a private gathering at Avedian’s home in Narmak are in northeastern Tehran, but their case came to light only recently.

The agents confiscated all the Bibles and communication devices with passwords.

In Tehran’s Evin Prison, the three were subjected to psychological torture during several intense interrogation sessions.

Judge Afshari pronounced Avedian guilty of “establishing and leading an illegal group with the aim of disrupting the security of the country through education and propaganda activities contrary to and disturbing to the holy religion of Islam, through the dissemination of false claims … as well as contact with foreign countries, or organisational guidance from abroad.”

The Christians’ defense was met with “disrespectful remarks toward their character, and insults to their faith,” according to Article 18, which also said that over the past decade, authorities in Iran have closed down nearly all churches that offered services in Persian, the national language, or insisted they teach only in the ethnic minority languages.

The Islamic Republic is ranked as the ninth-worst country in the world when it comes to Christian persecution, according to Open Doors USA’s World Watch List.

“Converts from Islam to Christianity are most at risk of persecution, especially by the government and to a lesser extent by society and their own families,” it says.

“The government sees the growth of the church in Iran as an attempt by Western countries to undermine Islam and the Islamic regime of Iran. House groups made up of converts from Muslim backgrounds are often raided, and both their leaders and members have been arrested, prosecuted, and given long prison sentences for “crimes against national security.”

The Muslim religion is an antichrist religion and Biblical prophecy reveals the Antichrist (Little Horn) arises out of one of four Muslim nations when the revived Ottoman Empire is broken up (perhaps by the U.N. or Russia) into four nations.

Then the goat (revived Ottoman Empire) became exceedingly great, but when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven.
Out of one of them came a little horn (Antichrist), which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the glorious land. It grew great, even to the host of heaven. And some of the host and some of the stars it threw down to the ground and trampled on them. It became great, even as great as the Prince of the host
Daniel 8:8-11

ISLAMIC TERRORISM

French President Emmanuel Macron denounced the violence in a tweet. “More than 50 people have been beheaded, women kidnapped, villages looted and then set on fire. Islamist terrorism is an international threat that calls for an international response.”

Reports of more than 50 beheadings by Mozambique’s Islamic extremist rebels have raised international alarm over the new level of violence in the country’s north. The killings mark a bloody turn in the three-year insurgency in Cabo Delgado province, prompting condemnations from the United Nations secretary-general and the presidents of France and Zimbabwe.  In the past two weeks, the extremists have seized nine towns in the Muidumbe district of Cabo Delgado, extending their range from the port of Mocimboa da Praia, which they have held since August, according to reports in local media. Capturing the town of Muatide, the insurgents established a centre on a soccer pitch where they beheaded more than 50 people, according to Pinnacle News, which has correspondents throughout the province.

Further proof, if any is needed, that Islam is the widespread malevolent Antichrist spirit that would be intent on killing Christians in the Biblical end times prior to Jesus return.

UK – A CESSPIT FOR ISLAMISTS?

“London is more Islamic than many Muslim countries put together”, according to Maulana Syed Raza Rizvi, one of the Islamic preachers who now lead “Londonistan“, as the journalist Melanie Phillips has called the English capital. No, Rizvi is not a right-wing extremist. Wole Soyinka, a Nobel Laureate for Literature, was less generous; he called the UK “a cesspit for Islamists”. “Terrorists can not stand London multiculturalism”, London’s Muslim mayor Sadiq Khan said after the recent deadly terror attack at Westminster. The opposite is true: British multiculturalists are feeding Islamic fundamentalism. Above all, Londonistan, with its new 423 mosques, is built on the sad ruins of English Christianity.

British multiculturalists are feeding Islamic fundamentalism. Muslims do not need to become the majority in the UK; they just need gradually to Islamize the most important cities. The change is already taking place.

British personalities keep opening the door to introducing Islamic sharia law. One of the leading British judges, Sir James Munby, said that Christianity no longer influences the courts and these must be multicultural, which means more Islamic. Rowan Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, and Chief Justice Lord Phillips, also suggested that the English law should “incorporate” elements of sharia law.

British universities are also advancing Islamic law. The academic guidelines, “External speakers in higher education institutions”, provide that “orthodox religious groups” may separate men and women during events. At the Queen Mary University of London, women have had to use a separate entrance and were forced to sit in a room without being able to ask questions or raise their hands, just as in Riyadh or Tehran.

In Birmingham, the second-largest British city, where many jihadists live and orchestrate their attacks, an Islamic minaret dominates the sky. There are petitions to allow British mosques to call the Islamic faithful to prayer on loudspeakers three times a day.

The Hyatt United Church was bought by the Egyptian community to be converted to a mosque. St Peter’s Church has been converted into the Madina Mosque. The Brick Lane Mosque was built on a former Methodist church. Not only buildings are converted, but also people. The number of converts to Islam has doubled; often they embrace radical Islam, as with Khalid Masood, the terrorist who struck Westminster.

By 2020, estimates are that the number of Muslims attending prayers will reach at least 683,000, while the number of Christians attending weekly Mass will drop to 679,000. “The new cultural landscape of English cities has arrived; the homogenised, Christian landscape of state religion is in retreat”, said Ceri Peach of Oxford University. While nearly half of British Muslims are under the age of 25, a quarter of Christians are over 65. “In another 20 years there are going to be more active Muslims than there are churchgoers,” said Keith Porteous Wood, director of the National Secular Society.

When the charismatic, miracle working, Mahdi (Antichrist) appears on the scene leading a ten nation Islamic Caliphate, what support will he receive from Muslims in the UK, Europe and other countries with rapidly growing Muslim populations?

POPE PROPOSES THE KORAN AS A WAY OF SALVATION?

A group of Algerian and French converts to Christianity have launched an online petition urging Pope Francis to abandon his conciliatory attitudes to the Islamic faith and Muslim immigration to Europe.

This report further demonstrates that this Pope is likely to support an Islamic Antichrist (Mahdi) who presents as a peacemaker and in fact initiates the prophesied peace treaty with Israel at the start of the final seven years before Jesus return.

The petition, signed initially by Algerian-French convert Mohammed Christophe Bilek, a published author of two books who now runs a religious discussion blog in France, was published a few days ago.

It has gathered more than 2740 signatures from around the world, with Christians and others joining in. The signatories come from Africa, Europe, the US and Australia.

Pope Francis is being urged to change his approach to Islam, which one vocal group of converts have called ‘dangerous’.

“You do not like to beat around the bush, and neither do we, so allow us to say frankly that we do not understand your teaching about Islam,’’ the petition says in part. “It does not account for the fact that Islam came AFTER Christ, and so is, and can only be, an Antichrist and one of the most dangerous because it presents itself as the fulfilment of Revelation (of which Jesus would have been only a prophet). Are we not in a good position to talk to you about Islam.

If Islam is a good religion in itself, as you seem to teach, why did we become Catholic? Do not your words question the soundness of the choice we made at the risk of our lives? Islam prescribes death for apostates (Koran 4.89, 8.7-11), do you know?’’

The letter also contrasts the stance of Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia who “do not welcome any refugee” while Pope Francis has consistently preached opening Europe’s doors to Islamic migrants.

In March last year, in a speech to a world meeting of populist movements, Pope Francis claimed that “Muslim terrorism does not exist … there are fundamentalist and violent individuals in all peoples and religions’’. His affirmation of inter-religious harmony came as more than 300 Christians a month were being killed, 700 injured and dozens of churches destroyed.

“We do not wish the West to continue with Islamisation, nor that your actions contribute to it,’’ the petition says. “Where then would we go to seek refuge?

“Allow us to ask Your Holiness to quickly convene a synod on the dangers of Islam. What remains of the Church where Islam has installed itself?

“As it was in the face of Nazism and communism, naivety in the face of Islam is suicidal and very dangerous.’’

The petitioners also argue: “That the Pope seems to propose the Koran as a way of salvation, is that not cause for worry? Should we return to Islam?” They do so in response to a statement from Francis in 2014 in which he urged people of all faiths to “wring from our hearts the disease that plagues our lives’’ — with Christians doing so with the Bible and Muslims with the Koran.

UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES: ISRAEL, ISLAM AND THE GOSPEL

Hi Brothers & Sisters, I mentioned in a previous post, I was attending a Conference in Tyler Texas, August 4th and 5th – Understanding the Times: Israel, Islam & The Gospel. My main reason for attending was to meet up with Dr Nelson Walters who was a speaker at the Conference. Nelson has agreed to be on the Board of an “End Times” Ministry I am setting up, to provide pastors and Christian leaders with Power Point Sermons and Video Sermons to equip the church in these “last days” to make disciples to complete the great commission – website http://www.powerpointsermons.net.  As well, I hoped to connect with some of the speakers at the conference who would become partners in the ministry. Two great connections were Joel Richardson and Mark Davidson.

Joel is author of many books but two I can recommend are Mideast Beast: The Scriptural Case for an Islamic Antichrist and Mystery Babylon: Unlocking the Bible’s Greatest Prophetic Mystery.

Mark is author of several books but as with Joel I can recommend two – Daniel Revisited: Discovering the Four Mideast Signs Leading to the Antichrist and Iran’s Great Invasion  and Why it’s next in Bible Prophecy.

If you want to get up to speed on what end time events the Bible has prophesied for the near future, then listen to Mark being interviewed on Wings of the Eagle. They were also active at the conference and a website to watch.

Christians await Jesus Christ, Muslims await the Mahdi

Stunning research suggest the Mahdi and the Antichrist may actually be the same.

  • Mahdi brings a seven year peace treaty.
  • Antichrist brings a seven year peace treaty.
  • Mahdi will rule from the Temple Mount.
  • Antichrist will rule from the Temple Mount
  • Mahdi honours Allah, a god of war and advances his cause through war.
  • Antichrist honours a god of fortresses (war) and advances his cause through war.
  • Mahdi demands a badge on the forehead.
  • Antichrist demands a mark on the forehead or back of the hand.
  • The Mahdi does not honour women’s rights
  • The Antichrist does not honour women’s rights.
  • The Mahdi honours Allah with gold and silver.
  • The Antichrist honours his god with gold and silver.
  • The Mahdi will change times and laws.
  • The Antichrist will change set times and laws.

Listen to Joel Richardson interview leading Muslim scholars. What they reveal about the goal of Islam, will forever change your mind, if you believed it to be a religion of peace.
