KENYA HOUSE CHURCH MISSION TRIP TO URIRI

This report from Pastor Charles is very encouraging. The pictures make it come alive and show that spontaneous prayer dominated the meetings.

Pictures 1, 2 & 3 show marketplace evangelism at Uriri. Believers are moved to spontaneous prayers after hearing the gospel message on salvation and repentance.

Picture 4, In the home of our host Mr Bonface Ayoro, Pastor Charles preaching on being prepared for Jesus second coming.

Picture 5. Mr Jackson Okumu and his three wives are being prayed for salvation, repentance, and healing – one of his wives, Mrs Dorsila Okumu was healed of a tumour.  This was her testimony: “I started to feel a lump in my lower abdomen, and I had to seek medical attention. I was diagnosed as having a tumour. My doctor told me I had to be operated on as soon as possible because it had grown so large. I was so troubled in my heart and had no peace at all. Today, I’m glad Dr Jesus performed his own operation, and now I don’t need an operation! She expressed her excitement, the tumour is gone! I can no longer feel it in my body!”

Picture 6. Mrs. Susana Odhiambo (left and arms raised) – a 35 years old woman working in the education department, she wanted to accept Jesus as her Saviour and Lord and was delivered from demonic depression by Pastor Saoke in the process.

Picture 7. Pastor Saoke shared the gospel message of salvation with a young gentleman who had attended our gospel meeting.

Picture 8. Mr. William – a motorbike driver had broken his right leg in an accident five months ago and that leg had not healed properly. His range of movement was limited and it was very painful. Naturally, this disability impacted his ability to do work. Upon hearing our gospel message of salvation, he surrendered his life to Jesus and his leg was healed, the pain was gone. Mr. William later testified: “Wonderfully, Jesus has done what the doctors were not able to do. I’m healed! I thank my Lord, He is my saviour forever.”

Picture 9. Shows people at the marketplace meetings in prayer. Spontaneous prayer was the feature of the Mission and confirmed that the Holy Spirit was leading the way.

Pictures 10 & 11. A roadside meeting showing Mrs Hannah a 30-year-old woman who had been an alcoholic gave her testimony of repentance, healing and salvation. She has a dark grey skirt and an orange top, standing in picture 10 and on her knees in picture 11.

OUTCOME: A new House church was established in Urir with 15 believers. Mr Bonface Ayoro will lead the new house church. Pastor Harisson Ojiji will act as a mentor to help him oversee the church.

Testimony from Mr Bonface Ayoro: “May God bless you for your commitment to serving the Lord and your efforts in making Disciples for Jesus. I have been listening to you and your ministry since 2019. I now feel I am a part of the Kenya House movement. I count it a privilege to be a part of the work our Heavenly Father is doing through you and your ministry partners. I was part of the religious institutional church model for over 15 years. It does not make disciples of Christ. I look forward to being part of the KHC movement to make more disciples for the Kingdom of God.

I have been blessed to be part of growing and ministering to the KHC movement for over four years now. If you feel called to help then please send me an email at ron@bakb.com.au or you can donate on the Home Page.

KENYA HOUSE CHURCH MISSION TRIP

Report by Pastor Charles Otieno Owino on the Kenya House Church (KHC) Mission trip this month to Giribe Lwala in the Homa Bay County near Lake Victoria. It is the County next to Migori County where Pastor Charles is located.

KENYA HOUSE CHURCH MISSION TRIP TO GIRIBE LWALA:

Purpose of visit: Discipleship

Host: Mr Kennedy Onyango.

Arrival Date: Nov 9th/2022, Departure: Nov 15th.

The KHC team are delighted with how God protected them on this Mission Trip, no equipment failures and the response from so many people was positive. God was present the entire time with several healing miracles and other signs. Pictures truly tell the story and Charles has given a brief description of each one. The pictures are not in order the events occured but I hope this is understood from the descriptions given.

1. Pastor Nyarumba ( in the red T-shirt) is baptizing Mr Cleophas Odhiambo( in the white shirt). Mr Cleophas is a new disciple at Olassi house church. He was a former assistant chief of the county who was interdicted for abuse of office (corruption), and also for being deeply involved in alcoholic drinking. This baptism was carried out when the team visited Olassi on their return trip from Giribe Lwala,

2. Pastor Jacob ministered the gospel message of salvation and repentance at an evangelism meeting in one of the homes our team visited- among them was Shem Nyabuto, a former drug addict (with dreadlocks). He accepted the gospel message of salvation and repentance and gave his heart to Jesus, and accepted Him as his personal Saviour.

3. House fellowship meeting at the home of Mr Kennedy Onyango. Mrs Millicent Girago ( with a baby in her hands). She had a strong pain in her back, and the problem persisted for many years even after visiting many doctors and local herbalists. After receiving prayer, she was instantly healed and the pain was completely gone.

4. Pastor Osogo baptized Mrs Jane Odhiambo, the wife of the former assistant chief of the county. During the KHC trip to Olassi last month this woman at first didn’t believe our Gospel message, but on this trip visiting this house church, we taught her the word of God, she believed and was baptized. This baptism was carried out when the team visited Olassi on their return trip from Giribe Lwala,

5. Believers are in a moment of prayer on our arrival at Giribe Lwala. The opening prayers were at the home of Mr Kennedy (in a tie & brown suit).

6. Evangelism Ministry at the home of Mr Paul Ondiek. Pastor Saoke ministers the gospel message to the 10 adult members of this family. They believed the gospel message of healing and salvation and accepted Jesus as their personal saviour.

7. Pastor Charles ( in a white shirt) ministers the gospel message of end time events of Jesus’ soon return at the home of Mr Kennedy Onyango.

8. Pastor Julius Makacha ministers the gospel message of the coming Millennial Kingdom at an evangelism meeting at one of the homes.

9. Pastor Melkio ministers the gospel message on the role of women in the church at Giribe Lwala house Church.

10. Pastor Charles prayed for some women (on their knees) at the home of Mr Kennedy. And among them is Mrs Dorothy Ouma ( in a dotted white & black dress) This woman’s life was ruined by alcoholic drinks to such an extent that she couldn’t provide for her family. After hearing the gospel message she repented and accepted Jesus as her personal saviour.

11. Pastor Charles with hands raised praying at the home Mr David Garrison. His son (wearing a white shirt & kneeling ) was deaf and dumb, after hearing the gospel message his ears were opened, and he was able to hear and speak little but by using signs.

12. Pastor Kennedy addressed the Giribe Lwala house, church believers, at the close of our mission trip at Giribe Lwala.

A new house church of 10 people was newly founded at Giribe Lwala. This new house church will be under the care of elder Kennedy Onyango.

On the way home, we arrived at the Olassi house church of our host Elder Walter Ogwati in the evening to do baptisms of the new believers the following day. In the evening, we had house fellowship with believers in their home. It was in preparation for the baptism the next day.

Today, at 11:am, we walked down to a new dam to baptize the newly converted believers of this house church, and among them is the wife of the former assistant Chief and her husband (included in the pictures). It was well attended. Later this afternoon, we shall pack our luggage for our trip back home in the evening.

May you kindly put us in your prayers for a successful remaining part of our mission here and also for a safe travelling back home.

As previously reported I have been supporting the KHC movement for four years now even including a trip to Migori to hold a three-day training session with 21 of the KHC leaders in April of this year. The picture shown is me delivering a PowerPoint presentation on Israel’s History and Purpose at this meeting. The image on the screen is of the Israel Feast Days.

As can be seen, the meeting is in a tin shed. We had no power so we had to hire a generator and I purchased the screen. I am hoping that some of my followers will be prompted by God to join me in financially supporting the growth of the Kenya House Church Movement. I have seen it grow from six house churches to twenty-two. If this is something you would like to do email me at ron@bakb.com.au.

KENYA HOUSE CHURCH MISSION TRIP TO OLASI

Mission Trip to Olasi market in Nyatike, a sub-county of Migori where Charles the leader of the KHC movement lives.

TRIP REPORT by Pastor Charles Otieno Owino:

Arrival:     Sunday, October 9th.

Departure:  Thursday, October 13th.

Purpose of visit: Discipleship.

Host:  Mr. Walter Ogwati.

Guests: KHC Discipleship team.

We safely arrived at OLASI on the evening of Sunday, Oct. 9th. The KHC team was welcomed by Mr. Walter Ogwati and several other Christian brothers. In the evening upon arrival, we conducted opening prayers for the Mission Trip before proceeding with a house meeting at his home which was well attended.

Marketplace evangelism in Olasi

Many people turned up for our marketplace meetings as this picture shows. God did some mighty works through us. Many people believed and surrendered their lives to Christ.

We erected our tent for afternoon and evening meetings.

Men and women who were demon possed were healed and delivered from demonic oppression. The Holy Spirit gave many people the power to understand our gospel message on repentance, salvation, and “end times” signs of Jesus’ second coming. Many of which are being manifested in our day. We even preached on the soon coming Millennium rule and reign of Jesus Christ and the Saints when His Kingdom will be established here on earth.

On the second day of our meeting in the home of Mr. Walter Ogwati, a good number of people turned up to hear our gospel message. The hearts of many were touched. Nine people repented of their sins and gave their hearts to Jesus Christ.

No facility was available for baptism but the new Olasi KHC group will ensure the new converts are baptised.

The picture on the left shows Pastor Charles praying for Mr Cleophas Odhiambo (wearing a blue shirt ). He was a former chief of the county who was interdicted for abuse of the office (corruption), and also for being deeply involved in alcoholic drinking. This conversion should significantly impact the community for good.

Three women stepped forward and knelt down to receive prayers We prayed for them and all three women believed and repented of their sins.

It was such a wonderful time watching the Lord move and touch so many lives every day in our meetings, with many miracles taking place and people giving their testimonies on their past deeds and on the goodness of God.

This picture shows Pastor Charles with Mr Gedion Onyango (wearing a white shirt), this young man was healed from sickle-cell anemia. He is giving his testimony on how he had struggled with the disease for many years. Pastor Charles saw potential in this young man and spent time with him going through foundational biblical teachings particularly verses on salvation and church as described in the Book of Acts.

As a result of the work done through us by God in this region of OLASI, a new house church with nine members was birthed.

This new young house church will be under elder Walter Ogwati who invited us to come to Olasi and was our host. He will be helped and supported by pastor Daniel of  Lidha House Church.  Lidha is a beachside town on the shores of Lake Victoria in Nyatike which is a sub-county within the region of Migori. This will continue until brother Walter becomes strong and fully built up and mature in the faith such that he can stand alone with his house church.

The picture below should encourage you as it shows young male Christians singing praise songs before young people and those assembled in the KHC tent behind them.

If you believe God would like to use you to help support the KHC next Mission Trip in November to Lwala Giribe then you can donate on my Home Page just click on Donations. The link was established, just to help grow the KHC movement. Two projects I would like to see completed are

  1. vehicle for Pastor Charles
  2. Funds for Bibles in Swahili

I took this photo of Charles’s vehicle during my visit in April of this year. It had not been functional for many months. The gearbox needs replacing and probably the motor as well. The best option is probably a replacement low-mileage Toyota wagon.

KENYA HOUSE CHURCH MISSION TRIP

The KHC discipleship mission trip to Seme sub-county of Kisumu ended well today, Monday, September 12th. 2022

GOSPEL  MEETINGS:  The holy spirit worked mightily and powerfully in our midst, touching and convicting many souls to repent of their sins. As a result, many people believed in Jesus Christ and realised He was the promised Jewish Messiah who would come first to die for our sins but also to come again to rule and reign in the Millennium.

At one point, in the home of Mr. Paul Otuoma, his brother Mr. Gordon Onyango testified about not having believed for many years in the Trinity – He said he was a Jehovah’s witness follower, and he believed only in the Oneness of God.  After him sitting under our teaching and hearing pastor Melkio teach on the Trinity, his heart was broken and he believed in our gospel message. He also agreed to become part of the newly founded Seme House Church.

At the home of Mr. Bonface Maganga, an atheist and homosexual after sitting under our teaching, he acknowledged the authority of God and his supernatural power. He repented for his sins of rejecting God and practicing homosexuality. He surrendered his life to Jesus and was baptized. He has now become part of the newly founded SEME house church.

MARKET PLACE EVANGELISM:   At the Kombewa trading centre, we ministered healing and salvation to a demon-possessed man who for many years has been walking around the place naked, talking to himself, and eating food from the waste bin. We prayed for healing, restoration, and salvation for him. Instantly, his mind came back to normal. He believed and was baptized. Everybody at the Kombewa trading center was amazed to witness this miracle. After the miracle, Pastor Jactone and Julius gave him some money to buy clothes and a pair of shoes. Also, his relatives were now prepared to take responsibility for him. Hopefully, he will join the newly founded SEME House Church.

BAPTISM BY IMMERSION:  Many who believed in Jesus and the gospel message of repentance and salvation were baptized in the nearby dam. We baptized both men, women, and youths aged 18 years and above. A total of ten people were baptized.

God ministered through us to many people at tent meetings and outdoor evangelism meetings. Many souls were won back to Christ and many miracles of healing demonstrated the Holy Spirit’s presence.

NEW HOUSE CHURCH FORMED: Seme house church is found in Seme, sub-county of Kisumu.

The newly formed house church comprises 15 people, excluding children. Mr. Bonface Maganga Odhiambo will be the pastor overseeing the Seme House Church.

REQUEST FOR BIBLES: There is a great need to provide the members of this new house church with copies of the Bible. We ask that our brothers and the LEN team help to provide these needed Bibles. If you would like to help you can do so by clicking on the Donate icon on the Home Page. This icon was added just for donations to the Kenya House Church Movement.

KHC MISSION TRIP TO MBITA KENYA

REPORT BY PASTOR CHARLES OTIENO OWINO

Purpose: Discipleship & Evangelism mission.

Hosts: Joshua Chiro & Wilfred

Arrival date: August 3rd and departure August 7th

My team received a warm reception from Mr. & Mrs. Joshua Chiro and Wilfred his stepbrother, who were our hosts.

On the evening of day one, we held our first evangelism meeting at the entrance to Mbita Marketplace, the meeting was attended mostly by youths and a few adults. Pastors Omwenga and Samuel Osogo ministered the gospel message of salvation and repentance to the hearers. Later that night, we continued with prayer ministry in the home of Brother Joshua, our host.

Pastor Omwenga and Samwel Osogo ministering to passersby on roadside evangelism at Mbuta.

On Day 2:

Our evangelism team led by Pastor Jacob conducted house-to-house visitations and roadside meetings. They moved from village to village ministering the gospel message, praying with the people, and inviting them to our tent meetings. Many of the elderly were unable to attend our Tent Meetings so were appreciative of the effort that was made to visit them in their homes. Many were prayed for and considered their spiritual needs were met with many reported healings and deliverance.

The rest of the KHC leaders ministered indoors and at the tent meetings.

Dorfina Achieng

The Holy Spirit touched the lives of many people and convicted the hearts of sinners to repentance. Many gave powerful testimonies concerning their past life before coming to Christ Jesus.

Sick people were healed from various sicknesses. The stand-out healing was a woman named Dorfina Achieng. She had been suffering from leprosy for 30 years. When she surrendered her life to Jesus after hearing the gospel message on repentance and salvation she was instantly healed from the deadly disease. Her joy was evident as she later testified about how miserable her life of shame and isolation had been for the last 30 years.

DAY 3:  In a meeting at the home of brother Wilfred, four men, Mr. Otiende, Mr. Ouma, Mr. Komollo, and Mr. Adiema responded to the gospel message and were prepared to give their testimonies to the group. All four men testified to the fact that they had been secretly practicing witchcraft within their villages. Their activities had harmed people in the village for which they were now sorry. We prayed again for the four asking God to forgive them for their past evil deeds. When asked all four were eager to join a house church group.

Mrs. Brigita Otondi

At a meeting in the home of Mr. Otondi, our evangelism team was able to minister healing to his wife Mrs. Brigita Otondi. She was suffering from an enormous growth that had turned solid on her left arm. She was prayed for and was instantly, miraculously healed from the disease and pain she had suffered.

Anne Anyango is a lady who was seriously cut by her drunkard husband. Her husband claimed to have found her involved in an act of adultery. We prayed for her healing after she repented and accepted the gospel message of salvation.

At another time, Pastor Jacob Isogo ministered to a few women sitting beside the road, looking tired and weary after working long hours, he shared with them the gospel message about Jesus’ salvation, repentance, and His soon coming return. Some Jacob said believed the message, but some questioned Jesus’ soon coming return. He prayed with them and they all promised to come to our Tent Meeting the following day, which they did.

Led by Mr Joshua & Wilfred, our hosts, 12 members of the newly formed Mbita house church are standing in front to give their last word before the meeting came to a close on Sunday.

DAY 4: Before departure the following day, our team mounted an evangelism ministry within the central business district of Mbita Marketplace. It was a huge success with children, youths, men, and women turning up to hear the gospel message. Pastor Melkio with the help of a young lady translating ministered the gospel of salvation and the urgency to prepare for Jesus second coming. Many people welcomed the message and termed it timely and Biblical.

God through the Holy Spirit truly ministered to us as well as those we ministered to. Despite our financial challenges, God came through providing for our needs and using us to minister to the spiritual needs of many in Mbita county. His promises are sure as long as we continue to remain steadfast, trusting Him.

 A NEW MBITA HOUSE CHURCH

The formation of a Mbita House Church with twelve members is the most positive outcome of our Mission Trip.

If you have been moved by these reports on the Kenya House Church Movement then I would ask you to consider joining me to support funding their monthly mission trips to rural areas. It would be great to help them provide bibles and training materials in Swahili for the new House Church groups. I have provided a DONATION icon on the Home Page specifically for the KHC Movement.

KENYA HOUSE CHURCHES IN RURAL AREAS

The Holy Spirit is setting a fire under the believers in the rural areas of Kenya. I have been connected to the Kenya House Church Movement for about 4 years now and have seen it grow from six house churches to twenty-one. Moreover, I met with most of the leaders in April of this year in Migori, Kenya for a three-day training meeting. I reported on it in an earlier post.

Pastor Charles Otieno Owino, the leader of the KHC, is on the far left. All of the leaders received a copy of my latest book Living Eternal Now – Ready for Jesus Return. Some are holding it.

This post will help you understand the task ahead for the church in Kenya. As well, I have included pictures taken of meetings at some of the new house churches by way of inspiration which I hope will encourage some of my followers to join me in funding this work. I have put a DONATIONS icon on my Home Page for this purpose.

KHC MISSION TRIP TO MASAAI MARA IN NAROK COUNTY

Masa Mara County is next to Migori County where Pastor Charles is located. Both counties are on the border of Kenya and Tanzania. Narok Town where they ministered is shown on this map

Hi Ron. We are back home from the trip to Masaai Mara,in Narok county. The KHC trip to this region was successful with a positive outcome, thanks to our Lord.

 MEETINGS:

Several indoor & outdoor meetings were held during our trip, all with a positive outcome.

We witnessed many souls coming to Christ, the sick healed, sinners repented and five people were baptized. Many bound with a spirit of religion were loosed and gave their testimonies.

The majority of those people living in the county considered themselves Roman Catholics. Most testified that they had never heard the Gospel message of repentance and surrender before. Hence they now had a new understanding of baptism and what it meant; dying to self and arising a new creation in Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit.

 HOUSE MEETINGS

During house-to-house evangelism we met Mrs Paulina Anyango and we prayed for her 21-year-old daughter who had been sick and suffering from pain in her lower abdomen that had been diagnosed as a tumour. Immediately after the prayer, she testified the sharp pain in her lower abdomen had gone.

At a meeting in the home of Mr Kipkorir we ministered the gospel of salvation to his son, he repented and later was baptized in the river with four others.

In another meeting, we ministered salvation and repentance to a young boy who for many years had been involved in the act of thuggery, he repented of his sins and was baptized.

Many people including women, men and children surrendered their life to Jesus and acknowledged Him as their personal saviour. Many of these had professed previously to be Roman Catholics.

Gladly, God worked with us, and through us in a very special way. Many testimonies of salvation and healing were realized, and those released from demonic oppression gave powerful testimonies.

A NEW HOUSE CHURCH WAS ESTABLISHED:

It was encouraging to see many people surrender their life to Christ, and want to become part of the Kenya House Church Movement to make more disciples of Christ and be obedient to Jesus’ commands..

Mr Marwa Mwita, our host, was appointed leader of this newly founded house church. And now Mr Marwa his household, together with other believing members are now forming up this new house church group- Masaai Mara house church.

Pastor Saoke and Julius conducted water baptism for Mrs Tabitha Njoki. Roseline Kosgei (red and yellow striped dress),
Pastor Saoke & Julius conducting water Baptism. And the newly converted disciples are queuing to undergo baptism.

Pastor Julius teaches the children about the commandment of God with a promise- honour your Father & mother and you shall live long in the land.
Pastor Charles prays healing for a sick woman suffering from a tumour ( Mrs Rhoda- in a white & black dotted skirt- kneeling). For years she has had pain in her lower abdomen, after hearing the gospel message on salvation and healing found in Jesus Christ, she surrendered her life, and repented of her sins. she was prayed for and testified the pain instantly disappeared.

KHC AUGUST MISSION TRIP

We are working on our preparation for KHC’s upcoming discipleship trip to MBITA MARKET PLACE on August 3rd – 7th.

Praying and trusting God to help provide for the trip. Many thanks for your support. Charles Otieno Owino.

I have been supporting the Kenya House Church Movement (KHC) for almost four years now. KHC serves the rural communities of Kenya and northern Tanzania. As my followers know, I have visited Kenya and spent three days with 21 KHC leaders during a three-day training meeting. As can be seen from the above pictures the living conditions are minimal and the need for funds particularly to fund the monthly mission trips is significant. I would like to do more for KHC and if you would like to join me with a monthly donation of even $10.00 it would be a blessing. You can do it by clicking on the Donations icon on my Home Page or you can send funds directly to Pastor Charles as I do by Western Union to Pastor Charles Otieno Owino Isbana Rd, Migori Kenya. If you decide to send funds directly I would appreciate you letting me know at ron@bakb.com.au so that I know what is else needed.

MY AFRICA TRIP REPORT

I had several objectives for making the trip to Kenya to meet with Charles Otieno Owino head of the Kenya House Church movement and the other KHC leaders.

KHC was created to serve Kenya’s and now Tanzania’s rural areas.

I connected with Charles almost three years ago now on LinkedIn. It was largely because of my posts on www.livengeternal.net where I said the end-times church will be like the church described in the Book of Acts – House Churches.

In one post, I used the example of Francis Chan. He walked away from a church of 5000 to establish house churches with no paid pastors or buildings. Francis said the church was all about making disciples that make disciples. If a house church has not trained up disciples prepared to start another house church with family and friends in a short period of time (e.g. 6 months) then the church is not functioning as it should, he said.

Charles responded to my post with a hearty endorsement and outlined what KHC is doing in Kenya. Subsequently, I have been supporting KHC ever since to send out missionaries to establish House churches in new areas. KHC has grown from six to twenty-two house churches in the period I have been working with Charles.

We had one Zoom Meeting when Charles had all the house church leaders together for a time of thanks, praise, worship, and seeking God’s guidance on the way forward. However, despite my age, I felt God was prompting me to visit KHC to meet the leaders and establish where they were at in terms of the basics:

1. Belief in an inerrant Bible including its young earth history. This is why we had a Zoom Meeting with Creation Ministries International at the start of our three-day meeting.

2. The Bible provides the true history of this universe. Creation, The Fall, Noah’s worldwide flood, God established the nations at Babel, God established his own nation Israel (role and purpose), central to that purpose, Jesus enters history at the prophesied time to save mankind:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.John 14:6

This was Jesus’ first coming as the sacrificial lamb; however, the Bible clearly reveals that He will come a second time as the victorious King to establish His Millennial Kingdom on this earth. Prophesied end times signs indicate that His second coming is not too far distant. The principal prophesied end times sign was Israel becoming a nation again in 1948.

3. To ensure KHC understood the role and purpose of Israel in God’s plan for this universe including Jesus’ second coming to rule and reign over the nations with the resurrected saints from a glorious, restructured Jerusalem for one thousand years.

The picture was taken at the end of our three-day meeting a few of the pastors had to leave early to travel home. The dirt tracks to the meeting site were horrendous, certainly not roads.

Pastor Charles is at the far left of the picture

RESULT:

Alfred and me

I was hoping the English of the house church leaders was good enough so that we would not need an interpreter. This was not the case. Fortunately, Alfred the brother of the KHC leader, Charles is a teacher, and we proved a good team.

The agenda of the meeting shows the focus on the Bible providing a true history of this world, Israel, and preparing for Jesus’ return to rule and reign on this earth with the resurrected Saints for one thousand years.

The Holy Spirit led me to make one major addition to the program, we had two sessions on the role of the Holy Spirit in living the Christian life.

TRIP TO AFRICA

This afternoon I am on a flight from Sydney to Nairobi, Kenya via Dubai. The prime reason for the trip is a three-day meeting with the 20 plus House Church leaders in Kenya. As followers of my post will know, I have been supporting the Kenya House Church Movement for nearly three years now. It has grown from six house churches to over twenty today. We would appreciate others joining us as well, both on Zoom and to help support mission trips to grow the movement. I have a Donations icon on the Home Page for this purpose.

Another important reason for the trip is to determine where the leaders are at in their Christian walk and to determine what training may be needed. Using Zoom, Creation Ministries Africa (CMI) will give a presentation to our meeting and I will also use Zoom to connect KHC leaders with other ministries I believe will assist the Movement.

I am also involved with the International Christian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) and will be speaking at ICCC meetings in Kenya and Rwanda. The President of ICCC Kenya is also on the International Board of ICCC, Rene Kiamba. Rene is connected to KHC and has been involved in teaching them on at least one Zoom Meeting.

Each ICCC member attending the meetings will receive a copy of my book, Build a Kingdom Business – Empowered by the Holy Spirit.

I am also travelling to Arusha, Tanzania to meet up with a pastor friend, David Owens who is working with African Enterprise. I hope to connect him with the KHC Movement.

KENYA HOUSE CHURCH MISSION TRIP

Kenya House Church (KHC) mission trip to Osiri (Gold) region. March 9th, 2022 to March 14th, 2022.

The leaders considered the visit successful as another House Church was established with eight members. The Holy spirit’s presence was evident with healing and miracles during the many meetings.

Some of the highlights: we witnessed an elderly man and his wife turning back to Christ Jesus. A young man and his entire household surrendered their lives to Jesus. The sick were healed, and a demon-possessed person was liberated from demonic oppression.

At one point, a man and his wife stood up in the midst of the assembly and testified about the many years they have lived under an ancestral curse, something the couple said hindered them from having children. We laid hands on the couple and prayed for deliverance. We rebuked every evil spirit of ancestral curses.

Many people gave their testimonies and expressed their appreciation for us making the effort to come and visit with them. They hope we will return soon to bring more people in their village to Jesus Christ.

Another highlight was our evangelism team visited a nearby secondary school, and ministered to teachers and students.

A HOUSE CHURCH ESTABLISHED:

As mentioned a new House Church of Eight (8) members was founded at OSIRI gold mine. Mr, Daniel Moi was appointed as the pastoral leader of this new house church.

FORTHCOMING MISSION TRIPS:

KHC has suspended its field mission trip for April as Ron Edwards of Living Eternal Now is visiting Kenya April 13th to April 23rd before travelling to Arusha, in Tanzania, and later to the Republic of Rwanda.

A three-day meeting is planned with up to twenty KHC leaders from Easter Sunday, April 17th to Tuesday, April 19th. It will be a Tent Meeting hosted by Mubachi or Nyarombo house church. Ron has purchased a large TV Screen and a technician will be present to enable a Zoom Meeting with Creation Ministries International (CMI) and Ron can present PowerPoint presentations.

PRAYER REQUEST:  We are appealing to all LEN followers, friends, and KHC leaders to put in their prayers, Ron Edwards’s upcoming trip to Africa and for God’s help to provide him with sufficient funds to enable him to cover all of his trip expenses.

Mr. William with his wife, the couple who have lived under an ancestral curse and are unable to have children. They have been married for 25 yrs.
The praise and worship were sincere and changed lives were evident to all.
Mrs Anjeline Opiyo and other family members remorsefully testified of the many years of living without acknowledging Christ in their lives. This family of five surrendered their lives to Christ.
