REVIVAL HITS MUSLIM NORTH AFRICA

Jesus is visiting the Muslim world with supernatural visitations and this man has spent years traveling one particular region in N. Africa to document the visitations. Qahoush told CBN News some people recount “sitting in a room and see[ing] the appearance and the presence of God appear to them in reality, like a vision

When people have a personal encounter with our Lord, true repentance and revival take place. These people know they have eternal life and are able to boldly proclaim their faith even in the face of persecution and death.

As prophesied “last days” events are unfolding quickly. It is like we are in ‘fast forward’. The War Room movie is a reminder for us all, both personally and the church, to seek the Lord passionately in prayer, to know the times and our role to bring His Kingdom rule in our community.

The Abundant Life God Promises

No doubt, you have heard, as I have, messages from prominent preachers promising you health, wealth and happiness through coming to Jesus. There are verses in the 66 books of the Bible that support this premise but there is plenty of evidence in the scriptures and lives of Christians including the Apostles, that present a very different view.

“They were stoned, they were sawn into two, they were killed with the sword…..destitute, afflicted, mistreated” Hebrews 11:37

There is happiness that comes from the abundant life God promises to the believer (John 10:10). Moreover the Gospel has transformed societies and even nations with amazing benefits. Peace and joy does come from the indwelling Holy Spirit that assures us our sins are forgiven, FOREVER and as our relationship  with God deepens our lives are transformed into the likeness of Jesus.

In a real sense, the benefits are a side effect of the Gospel. They are an adjunct to the main game, which is all about God and the eternal relationship He desires with us.

We trust God and His Word and look forward to the promised New Heaven and New Earth. In the meantime we get on with accomplishing His plan and purpose for our lives.

Persecution of Christians at unprecedented levels in these last days

Listen as Jonathan Cahn presents the facts on persecution of Christians around the world to the United Nations. Can I then suggest, if you haven’t already done so, that you ask the Lord what you can do to stand with your persecuted brothers and sisters. He will answer that prayer and when He does do it.

JESUS PRAYER FOR UNITY (John 17) IS ANSWERED UNDER PERSECUTION

SYRIA
For years the Christians in Syria prayed for God to bring revival to their country. Little did they know that revival would come, but it would come in the midst of war and suffering and death. This week “Brother John” shares the story of that revival, and the amazing ways that God is working in Syria today to strengthen and unify His church and to bring Muslims to fellowship with Jesus. John also brings a challenge to American Christians: are you willing to pay a price to see revival in your own country?

JOHN 17 MOVEMENT
“Division is the work of the ‘Father of Lies,’ ‘the Father of Discord,’ who does everything possible to keep us divided,” Pope Francis said in a video message to a gathering sponsored by the John 17 Movement, according to Catholic Herald.

“I feel like saying something that may sound controversial, or even heretical, perhaps,” he added. “But there is someone who ‘knows’ that, despite our differences, we are one. It is he who is persecuting us. It is he who is persecuting Christians today, he who is anointing us with (the blood of) martyrdom.”

Francis added that the devil “knows that Christians are disciples of Christ, that they are one, that they are brothers! He doesn’t care if they are Evangelicals or Orthodox, Lutherans, Catholics or Apostolic … he doesn’t care! They are Christians.”

The Roman Catholic Church leader insisted that “division is a wound in the body of the church of Christ. And we do not want this wound to remain open,” he said, urging for Christians to seek unity together and pray for one another.

The video was shared with the John 17 Movement in Phoenix, inspired by the passage in the Bible in which Jesus prays for the unity of his disciples.

The movement says on its official website that its vision is for Christians to respond to the final prayer of Jesus.

“On the eve of His death, He pleaded: “Father, may all who believe in me be one so the world will know you sent me.” This final plea stands as the most authoritative strategic direction for followers of Jesus,” the movement says.
