GREAT TESTIMONY – “Religion is the problem”

Amazing how God met this indigenous young man at his lowest point in prison and then how revelation came over time. Make sure you watch this five minute testimony to the end. The message is prophetic for our time.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU

Consider how easy it is to tell the religious faith of many people in the world by their dress or actions. One religion’s members shave their heads, wear saffron-colored robes, play musical instruments, and chant and sing in public. The faithful of another religion stop and kneel for prayers, wherever they are, five times a day. Another religion’s orthodox members wear black coats and hats, white shirts, and have long, curly locks of hair or beards.

There is only one mark Jesus asked His followers to display to the world: the mark of love. He told His disciples,

“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35)

It is not if we dress or speak a certain way or act religious in a certain way, but if we have love for others. Loving people the way Jesus loves people is the true mark of His followers. Love is the highest kingdom value (see Romans 14:17; 1 Corinthians 13:13).

Let our love and service for Christ be translated today into love and service for others.

When You Got God, You Got a Friend

Matthew McConaughey wins the best actor OSCAR for “Dallas Buyers Club”.
Amazing how the world responded with ridicule and hate to a simple acknowledgment of God.
Why is this, other than a clear example that they unwittingly follow the one who usurped the throne of this world, Satan.
The Bible clearly reveals we are involved in spiritual warfare and the war is hotting up as the world increasingly rejects God and His commandments. God led me to a great resource on Spiritual warfare just when I needed it – The Three Battlegrounds by Francis Frangipane.
I love Matthew McConaughey’s lead up to his acknowledgment of God.
“There’s three things I need each day. One of them is something to look up to, another is something to look forward to, and another is someone to chase”. then he drops the bomb.
First off, I want to thank GOD, cause that’s the one I look up to. He’s graced my life with opportunities that I know is not of my hand or any other human hand. HE has shown me that it’s a scientific fact that gratitude reciprocates. In the words of the late Charles Lawton who said ‘when you got God, you got a friend ….
He then continued with the rest of his speech.
For Christians his acknowledgment of God was encouraging and it is wonderful to know that God has his people in the media.
It is also wonderful that new Christian films such as SON OF GOD will shortly reach our theatres.
In fact three major movies based on Biblical narrative will be released in 2014 and four more are in the works for 2015. It is as if Hollywood has realized that it pays to provide movies based on God’s word. God can use anyone to achieve His purposes.
Pray God will over rule in the production of the Biblical movies that have not been produced and will use SON OF GOD that is already in cinema’s.
The two big budget movies this year are the SON OF GOD, already a box office success in the USA and NOAH which stars Russell Crowe is due later in the year.

Decline of the ANGLICAN CHURCH in the UK: comment by Dr Albert Mohler President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

As valid as the institutional question of establishment may be, the more important factor in this pattern of decline is theological. Churches and denominations decline when they lose or forfeit their passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and for the Bible as the enduring, authoritative, and totally truthful Word of God. If life and death are no longer understood to hang in the balance, there is little reason for the British people to worry about anything related to Christianity. If a church is not passionate about seeing sinners come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, if there is no powerful biblical message from its pulpits, then it is destined for decline and eventual disappearance.

When a church forfeits its doctrinal convictions and then embraces ambiguity and tolerates heresy, it undermines its own credibility and embraces its own destruction.
