HOW TO SHARE THE GOSPEL IN 15 SECONDS, 30 SECONDS AND 60 SECONDS

15 Seconds: “My Train is here!!” “God made everything perfect, but we broke His moral law—lied, stolen, blasphemed. The punishment is hell, but Jesus took our punishment on the cross, died and rose again. Turn from your sin and trust Him to be saved.”

30 Seconds: “My rides about to arrive to pick me up!” “God created a perfect world and gave us a conscience to know right from wrong. But we’ve all sinned—lied, stolen, used His name in vain. Sin separates us from God, and the just punishment is eternity in hell. Yet, God loved us so much He sent Jesus to live the perfect life we couldn’t, take our punishment on the cross, and rise from the dead. If you turn from sin and trust Him, God forgives you, gives you a new heart, and offers eternal life instead of hell.”

60 Seconds: “I have an appointment I have to leave in a minute!” “God created the world perfect, but we’ve all broken His moral law—lied, stolen, blasphemed, hated in our hearts. Sin is not a minor thing; it’s rebellion against a holy God, and His justice demands that sin be punished. The Bible says the punishment is eternity in hell, completely separated from God’s goodness. But in His love, God sent Jesus Christ, who lived perfectly and willingly took our punishment by dying on the cross. He rose again, proving His victory over sin and death. If you turn from your sin and trust in Jesus, you’ll receive forgiveness, escape hell, and gain eternal life with God.”

HARD QUESTION: “CAN YOU GIVE ME EVIDENCE FOR GOD?” YES! Imagine you’re walking down the street, and you see a fully assembled, functioning car parked on the side of the road. It’s sleek, well-designed, with intricate engineering — from the engine to the electronics, everything works together perfectly. Would you ever assume that car just appeared out of nowhere, assembled by time and chance? Of course not. You’d immediately know it had a manufacturer — someone who designed it, engineered it, and built it.

THE POWER OF ONE

Reaching one person with the good news of Jesus Christ seems insignificant compared to the world’s population. Repeatedly, Jesus sought one person, ministered to one person, touched one person, healed one person, and saved one person. When we are the ONE who has been saved, we are the ONE appointed to find ONE more!  

Jesus unlocked the potential of one person over and over again, in this new era of global evangelism, the focus needs to be on each person who needs Jesus.  Together, the impossible task can be achieved, one person at a time.  The Power of One shows how we can see the most significant Great Commission effort in history.

KNOWING GOD BY KNOWING HIS WORD

Knowing God, as He is presented in scripture, is a non-negotiable for Christians. Theology offers an eternal well of joy and a shield of protection from the enemy. Any Christian who thinks they can continue with a “no creed but Christ” is setting themselves up for failure. Anyone with this paradigm should truly self-evaluate if they really love the Lord at all. A denial of the need for theology is a denial of the Lord Jesus.

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.“ Hebrews 4:12

It is impossible to know doctrine, love, or God without the scripture. This is where the oracles of God and His gospel are contained. It is this special means by which God has chosen to reveal Himself to us.

Psalm 119 is extraordinarily helpful here. I do not think it is a coincidence that the single longest chapter in scripture (176 verses) is dedicated to loving the law of God. The psalmist reminds us over and over how his true delight and protection are only found in knowing God, via His word. He writes:

“How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your statutes! With my lips, I declare all the rules of your mouth. In the way of your testimonies, I delight as much as in all riches. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.” Psalms 119:9-16

A pursuit of theology is fundamental and vital to our makeup as human beings. Because we bear the Imago Dei (made in the image of God), we’re designed with a natural inclination for the spiritual and divine. We are wired to pursue theology – if not formally, then certainly informally. Even atheists, by their own self-admission, are going out of the way to classify themselves by an a-theological position. The great efforts made to publicly deny God are, in and of themselves, admissions of the great importance God plays in our world. It’s for reasons like these that statements that deny the need for theology are so absurd.

JESUS CHANGES EVERYTHING

By watching this video you will also learn a lot about other religions and how those religions that existed before Jesus have been modified to include Jesus in some way at least as a wise teacher. The religions like Islam that have arisen after Jesus also include Jesus in some way. No one has had an impact on the world like Jesus whether it be on art, music, education, even on religions.

Everyone wants Jesus on their side. Satan is the master deceiver so by including Jesus in these religions he gives them some credibility.
