Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) silences psychiatrist Dr Andrew Amos for challenging child ‘Gender Medicine’. Dr Andrew Amos has been banned from publicly discussing gender issues on social media and barred from direct clinical contact, following multiple complaints from trans activists.

AHPRA Silences Psychiatrist Dr Andrew Amos for Challenging Child ‘Gender Medicine’

Australia’s health regulator has banned a prominent psychiatrist from publicly questioning child gender treatments, AHPRA and the Medical Board of Australia ordered Dr Amos to stop making online statements about gender issues and is barred from direct clinical contact with patients. The conditions were imposed in response to four complaints lodged by trans activists, according to reports by The Australian.

He is also restricted from practising unless he is at an “approved location,” and has been barred from any role involving “direct or indirect” clinical patient contact. AHPRA invoked its “immediate action” power, which it can use when it “forms a reasonable belief there may be a serious risk to people.” Under the provision, the board does not need to establish all facts, and a full investigation may take up to two years.

AHPRA declined to answer questions from The Australian about why conditions were imposed. Separately, the regulator issued a statement saying it “respect[s] practitioners’ freedom of expression… provided it does not involve abuse, discrimination, or pose a risk to public safety.”

A Chilling Effect on Medical Debate

Dr Amos has published peer-reviewed work questioning whether the child “gender medicine” model meets core psychiatric standards.

His concerns align with the findings of the 2024 UK Cass Review, which found the evidence base for puberty-suppressing drugs and cross-sex hormones in minors to be weak, and subsequently prompted major policy shifts across parts of Europe.

Lyle Shelton, leader of Family First Party pointed to a sharp contrast in how AHPRA has treated competing expert voices.

In the recent Family Court case Re Devin (2025), Justice Andrew Strum found that expert evidence provided by prominent gender clinic doctor Michelle Telfer was “misleading” rather than objective. Complaints in that matter reportedly resulted in no meaningful regulatory action.

“At the same time as a court criticises evidence given in support of child gender treatments, AHPRA moves against a psychiatrist who questions the evidence base,” Shelton said. “Australians are entitled to ask why.”

Queensland psychiatrist Dr Jillian Spencer, suspended from Queensland Health since 2024 after questioning child “gender medicine” at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, told The Australian she feared becoming AHPRA’s next target.

“I’m very anxious that I’ll be next,” Spencer said. “I’ve managed to keep my registration so far, but I don’t know how long I’ve got left.”

‘No Capacity to Debate’

Spencer described a profession-wide silencing that predates any formal regulatory action. Journal articles critical of child gender treatments are blocked by activist reviewers, she explained. Dissenters are refused speaking platforms at conferences, while internal professional debate has, in her account, ceased.

“Within our profession, there has been absolute suppression of any capacity to debate the issue in medical professional forums,” Spencer said. “And people say to us, this is a really sensitive and important debate, it shouldn’t happen on social media or in the media. But what they’re ignoring is that we have no capacity to have the discussion within our profession.”

Spencer has written an open letter she hopes colleagues will sign, but expressed concern that AHPRA’s action will prompt others to stay silent. “I’m a bit scared that all my colleagues will run for cover,” she said.

Queensland’s own LNP Government has suspended the initiation of puberty-suppressing drugs and cross-sex hormones for minors — the same concerns for which Dr Amos now faces professional restrictions.

Family First is calling for the immediate lifting of conditions on Dr Amos, a transparent review of regulatory decisions in light of the Re Devin findings, and a national pause on experimental child gender treatments pending a full independent inquiry.

This nation has effectively banished God from its existence and will suffer the consequences particularly on Jesus imminent return.

Australian media and a small handful of politicians are finally shedding light on the appalling consequences of self-identification laws and gender ideology.

Binary has been at the coalface for the better part of a decade sounding the alarm. It has played a crucial role in the fact that some are finally starting to take note.

Anna Cody, the Sex Discrimination Commissioner, was embarrassed at Senate Estimates for not being able to define sex, one of the words in her own portfolio.

Senator Claire Chandler and Senator Malcolm Roberts did a great job of exposing her nonsensical responses.

Harm to Women and Children

The Australian and Sky News have picked up on the fact that violent male criminals are being housed in female prisons. The Chief Minister of the Northern Territory has even stated on the record that there will be no males in female prisons on her watch.

The Victorian education department has been exposed by Moira Deeming MP again for socially transitioning students without parental knowledge or consent.

Binary campaigned on this issue in the lead-up to the 2022 Victorian state election. Three long years ago, we warned that the policy was there and would be taken advantage of.

We were ridiculed and ‘fact checked’ by the ABC, which deceived readers into thinking we made it up and yet we literally took the statement directly from the government website.

Unfortunately, thousands of children have now suffered the consequences of gender ideology in their schools, and countless parents have had their rights undermined by a system that cares more about progressing a dangerous ideology than the wellbeing of children.

Irreversible Damage

Children who are socially transitioned usually go on to take extremely harmful drugs such as puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.

These drugs render them sterile, without sexual function, incontinent, with high cholesterol, and bone density issues, along with other terrible side effects.

Politicians and the media are responsible for one of the worst medical scandals in Australia’s history. They have shrunk back, minimised, deceived and outright lied about the harm this dreadful ideology has inflicted on a generation of vulnerable young people.

It is encouraging that some are now stepping into the light. It is deeply shameful that so many still refuse to safeguard women and children.

AUSTRALIAN MEDICAL SCHOOL REWRITES EXAM TO APPEASE RADICAL TRANSGENDER IDEOLOGUES

A disturbing exam question from an Australian medical school shows how scientific accuracy is being sacrificed for conformity to transgender ideology, casting serious doubt on the integrity of modern medical education and the future quality of patient care.

Below is a screenshot of a real question in a test for a fourth-year paediatric module in a medical school in Australia. The sender has requested to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, as they would no doubt be penalised for challenging the school’s political narrative.

It is incredibly alarming that this medical school has thrown out scientifically accurate terminology and concepts to appease transgender ideologues. The question is the promotion of a political narrative — it is not based on facts or reality.

Transgender Medical Exam Question

The question reads:

A 28 year old transgender man presents to the General Practice clinic with his two-week old infant. He gave birth vaginally after an uncomplicated pregnancy during which he temporarily discontinued testosterone therapy. He has not had a double mastectomy. He expresses a desire to breastfeed but is concerned about resuming testosterone. He has no significant medical history apart from gender dysphoria and takes no medications currently. On examination, both he and the infant appear well with vital signs within normal limits. The infant is gaining weight appropriately.”

Which of the following is the most appropriate management plan?

Choose the single best answer

  • Continue without testosterone while chestfeeding
  • Resume testosterone with concurrent chestfeeding
  • Commence formula feeding only
  • Start microdosing testosterone while chestfeeding
  • Alternate between formula and chestfeeding

Truth v Transgender Ideology

A human with a female reproductive system and the ability to give birth and breastfeed is a female. There is no evidence that any kind of man can perform this uniquely female accomplishment.

This medical school is redefining common language and scientific concepts. They are displaying utter contempt for reality and biology. How on earth can they be trusted to train up the next generation of medical practitioners when they care so little for accuracy and facts?

Changing pronouns or names, wearing costumes or taking drugs does not change the reality that it is only females who have a vagina, cervix, uterus, ovaries and breasts.

Redefining breastfeeding as “chestfeeding” is ludicrous. “Chest” refers to a relatively large anatomical region that contains a number of systems – cardiovascular, respiratory and mammary glands among them.

Breasts are an organ that produce breast milk by females for their babies. Redefining words won’t change this fact. Appeasing activists won’t enhance the level of professional, evidence-based care. It reduces a person to unreliable feelings that can minimise or ignore serious medical issues.

Indoctrinating medical trainees — gaslighting them with words and concepts that are clearly not biologically or anatomically correct — will reduce medical standards and trust. This is a clear breach of ethical and medical standards.

This is just another Biblical prophesied end-times sign prior to Jesus soon return with the glorified Saints to restore righteousness and institute His Millennial reign. This earth has another 1000 years before God destroys it with fire. After the final resurrection of the dead and the White Throne judgement, the apostle John sees a new Jerusalem descending from heaven on to a new Earth.

DETRANSITION: THE WOUNDS THAT WON’T HEAL

Dr. Jordan B Peterson sits down with 18 years old de-transitioner Chloe Cole. Chloe was indoctrinated, affirmed, and set on an irreparable path at the age of 15, and now finds herself abandoned, and criticized by the community and the doctors that led her over the edge. Chloe Cole is an 18-year-old de-transitioner from The Central Valley of California. She started her transition at 12 years old, puberty blockers and testosterone at 13, and had a double mastectomy at 15 years old. She is now suffering physically, and emotionally and as a result is a strong advocate against gender ideology along with many others.

London’s Tavistock Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) has been dismantled after a report by Dr. Hilary Cass that found serious missteps, weaknesses, and evidentially unsupported treatments of gender dysphoric children. Potential lawsuits are now a reality. Of the 19,000 young people treated at Tavistock, over 1,000 of them may bring lawsuits against the GIDS 

Back to Chloe, what struck me, is at 18 as a result of the medication and surgery she is now experiencing pain in her bones. in the joints and in her back, she is having bladder problems, the surgery to remove her breasts has ongoing complications, and now that she is transitioning she could not breastfeed even if she could conceive and it appears she is already experiencing the symptoms of menopause. What a disaster and as Jordan Peterson outlines the medical profession will eventually pay a heavy price for going along with this Satanically-driven movement to change a person’s biological sex using blockers, hormones, and surgery.

What about governments like Australia that have made it a gaolable offense to try and counsel young people that want to transition? Hopefully, they will be brought down for going along with this madness.

All of this is evidence we are in the last days. Thank goodness Jesus told us that when these things start to happen look up because your redemption draws near.

EXIT GOD, ENTER DEATH CULTURE

God creates life; Satan works to destroy life like he did at the beginning with the first humans, Adam and Eve. Jesus said of Satan to the Scribes and Pharisees:

“You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.“ John 8:44

Should we be surprised then that when nations turn their back on God they reap a harvest of death and misery? Whenever Israel abandoned God and followed after false Gods, they ended up with death and bondage. They did so many times (see Judges and Kings) with the same result. Can countries that were based on Christian values and laws expect to avoid the same consequences if they turn their back on God? No! Of course not! Western nations like my own country Australia, America, and most of Europe have abandoned God aided by the grand lie of evolution promoted by the educational establishment that we no longer need God.

We see it in the developing culture of death in these nations:

Unrestricted abortion even up to full term

Euthanasia (voluntary assisted suicide)

Family can be whatever you want. Children do not need a father and mother committed to a lifelong marriage.

Indoctrinating children with gender-bending ideology, creating confusion, disaffection with life, and suicidal urges.

Extremist ‘deep green’ ideology identifies humans as a plague on the earth that need to be culled.

The world needs to know that there is only one answer to this world’s problems and that is Jesus.

“I am the way the truth and the life” John 14:6 and “The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy, I came that they might have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10

Satan’s grand lie is that God is withholding all of the good things of life from us and makes us miserable with rules and regulations:

Marriage is only for a man and a woman.

You are what God made you a male or female and there is no choice in the matter.

Life is sacred; abortion is murder and euthanasia is suicide.

Brandon Showalter, a reporter for The Christian Post, is among the most well-versed and unrelenting journalists to tackle the transgender movement, exploring the impact of puberty blockers, “disfiguring surgeries,” and the moral chaos he believes is shielding so many from the truth.

Why is he so adamant that what is going on in hospitals and Transgender Clinics is “monstrously terrible”? “Something inside me snapped, and I just thought, ‘Well, I’ve just got to dig into this and scrutinize this more deeply because this is absolutely insane,'” Showalter said. “I just remember thinking to myself, ‘They’re doing what to children!’

By what standard of medical evidence are you legitimizing the removal of healthy body parts?” he asks in the film, referring to the practice as the “worst form of child abuse.

What we see being played out in the world is what God told us would happen to people when they turn away from the truth of God. It is just one of the many prophesied “end times” signs.

“Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
For this reason, God gave them up to dishonorable passions. AS BIDEN ADMIN PUSHES GENDER CHANGES FOR KIDS, FDA WARNS OF BRAIN SWELLING FROM PUBERTY BLOCKERS

The following information reveals a nation that has totally rejected God’s truth, values, and commandments. The government of the most powerful country in the world is putting the lives of children at risk in support of transgenderism. Read what the US Assistant Secretary of Health, who happens to be a man who identifies as a transgender woman, says about giving children puberty blockers: “life-saving, medically necessary, age-appropriate, and a critical tool for health care providers.” This is in spite of the FDA warning of dangerous side effects.

At least, former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) — a one-time Democratic presidential contender — is rebuking the Biden administration for its support of puberty blockers for children. Gabbard’s comments come after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a warning against gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists (GnRH), known commonly as puberty blockers. Gabbard stated in a video posted Sunday to her Twitter account “Unfortunately, at almost the exact same time the FDA issued this warning, Biden-Harris administration officials were making public statements actively promoting the use of puberty blockers and irreversible surgeries for kids.”

The late-July FDA warning came on the heels of contradictory comments from U.S. Assistant Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine, a man who identifies as a transgender woman. As well as saying, puberty blockers for children are “life-saving, medically necessary, age-appropriate, and a critical tool for health care providers, Levine added, “when it comes to making sure kids are healthy and happy, I know how important care that affirms someone’s true identity can be.”

This transgender woman is the US Assistant Secretary of Health and a pediatrician so should be aware of the FDA’s warning of the immediate dangers of puberty blockers given to children, moreover, the long-term effects are totally unknown.

The FDA warning announced earlier this month about puberty blockers known as gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists (GnRH) stated that if injected into children could cause swelling of the brain, headache, blurred or loss of vision, tinnitus, dizziness, and nausea. The FDA said six cases were identified in young girls aged 5 to 12 years that had a plausible association between puberty blockers use and pseudotumor cerebri, which the Mayo Clinic identifies as the pressure inside the skull increasing for no obvious reason. The condition is also identified as idiopathic intracranial hypertension in which symptoms mimic a brain tumor. 

End times Biblical prophecies indicate that the lawlessness that we see playing out in our world is exactly what the world was like prior to God destroying all mankind with a worldwide flood. Peter warns us that in the “last days” scoffers will deliberately overlook the fact that “the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished“.

“This is now the second letter that I (Peter) am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of a reminder, that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles, knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.” 2 Peter 3:1-7

CONFUSION REIGNS AT THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS

“You-ology: A Puberty Guide for EVERY Body” is a book released by the American Academy of Pediatrics aiming “to talk about puberty in an inclusive way.”

Although there are chapters on the normal growing pains associated with puberty, the book includes content related to kids identifying as transgender, as well as the academy’s recommendations for those kids. 

“You-ology” uses short stories to highlight certain points. In Chapter 3, a group of boys in a boys’ locker room notices a biological female is there with them. They question why and are then accosted by the girl’s brother, who informs them that she is transgender. 

The chapter goes on to argue that sex isn’t related to what genitals a baby has and that it’s all about how someone identifies. Worse, the book goes on to describe how there aren’t two genders, but a whole multitude.

Other nightmarish terms the book uses to confuse children include “sperm-making bodies” to refer to boys and “baby-growing bodies” to refer to girls.  

“You-ology” revels in these sex nonspecific phrases, much like the omnipresent expression “birthing person,” with which the modern left is obsessed.  

In one section, the book advises readers against using the term “feminine hygiene” products to refer to items such as tampons or menstrual pads, and instead to use the term “period products.” 

Even then, sometimes the book’s authors get confused and forget their woke biology, claiming that “male” bodies produce sperm instead of leftists’ accepted position that men aren’t unique in doing that anymore. 

Later chapters recommend that kids who are uncomfortable with their bodies should wear binders or “tuck” their genitals. The book claims in some cases, medical intervention, including puberty blockers, is necessary. 

The left attempts to hide what it’s doing behind cutesy illustrations, but the reality is clear. Activist doctors who want to normalize gender ideology are foisting transgenderism on children. 

The consequences of this attempt to normalize the left’s radical agenda can be fatal.  

The Daily Signal reported the story of Yaeli Martinez, a 19-year-old girl who committed suicide after battling with depression, which she thought becoming transgender could solve. 

It’s not hard to imagine someone like Yaeli being exposed to this type of book and thinking that the solution to all his or her problems is to take puberty blockers, bind their breasts, and transition.  

That’s a dangerous lie that results in miserable kids and, in the worst case, broken families weeping over the bodies of their loved ones. 

Books such as “You-ology” exacerbate the issue not only by solidifying transgender ideology into the mainstream but by convincing kids that it is perfectly normal to change their bodies, often permanently, during a period of extreme emotional instability. 

Of course, kids are going to be confused about who they are during puberty. Their bodies are being shot full of new hormones, and they’re going through something completely unprecedented in their young lives.  

The solution isn’t to affirm something is wrong with the biological process. The solution is to say that puberty is tough, but boys will emerge as men and girls will emerge as women.  

That is a biological reality, and no amount of posturing by woke activist doctors will change that fact.  

The American Academy of Pediatrics should be ashamed to be producing material that is directly responsible for ruining the lives of children.
