PREWRATH RAPTURE
Prewrath interpreters such as myself locate the resurrection just before the day of the Lord’s wrath is poured out beginning with the breaking of the seventh seal. The six seals depict the wrath of Satan being vented on Christians and Jews by the Antichrist and his followers. It is a time of great tribulation then the rapture and resurrection take place after which the wrath of God with the trumpet and bowl judgements. This is consistent with Matthew 24 and Paul’s Thessalonian teaching.
“Let no one deceive you in any way; for the day of the Lord will not come unless [ean mē] the apostasy comes first [prōton] and the lawless one is revealed, the one destined for destruction.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
The rapture and the resurrection will happen at the cutting short of the Beast’s great tribulation and before the day of the Lord’s wrath.
IT IS AT THE SEVENTH SEAL THAT JOHN SEES THE FOLLOWING
“After these things I looked, and here was an enormous crowd that no one could count, made up of persons from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb dressed in long white robes, and with palm branches in their hands. They w ere shouting out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!” And all the angels stood there in a circle around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they threw themselves down with their faces to the ground before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Praise and glory, and wisdom and thanksgiving, and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” Then one of the elders asked me, “These dressed in long white robes—who are they and where have they come from?” So I said to him, “My lord, you know the answer.” Then he said to me, “These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb! For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple, and the one seated on the throne will shelter them. They will never go hungry or be thirsty again, and the sun will not beat down on them, nor any burning heat, because the Lamb in the middle of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” (Revelation 7:9–17)

COVID-19 CREATES GLOBAL HUNGER CRISIS
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused at least 110 million children to go hungry and pushed 8 million others into child labor and begging, according to assessments in 24 countries across Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia by evangelical Christian humanitarian aid organization World Vision.
Other international groups like the United Nations and World Food Programme have warned that the economic impact of the new coronavirus is bound to increase child hunger, violence and poverty at alarming levels, and those predictions were confirmed by World Vision’s assessments.
“COVID-19 is already affecting parents and caregivers’ ability to meet the needs of their children,” says the World Vision report, titled “Out of Time: COVID-19 Aftershocks.”

“Without urgent action, this will only get worse given that every second child, out of 2 billion children in the world, is living in poverty,” it adds.
The report shows that a third of the 14,000 households in nine countries in Asia have already lost jobs or income since the coronavirus outbreak. “Sixty percent of these families depend on casual (daily) labor as a crucial source of income,” it says, adding that a quarter of all families surveyed did not have any food stocks on hand, and one third had only one week’s supply left.
In Cambodia, 28% of households facing loss of jobs and income were sending children out to work, and in Bangladesh, 34% were sending children to beg, the assessment found.
In urban slums in India, 40% of respondents reported a spike in domestic violence due to travel restrictions and a reduction in family income.
In Africa, 59% of respondents from communities World Visions works with reported spending less on healthy and nutritious food.
In Latin America, refugees are severely affected by the loss of income and one-third of children are going to bed hungry, the report says.
“In Chile, 82 percent of the interviewees report having serious problems obtaining food, and in Venezuela, 70 percent have no access to food, which means that children under age five are at high risk of being malnourished. The report also shows 28 percent of the children surveyed are at risk of eviction from their homes, with seven percent already having been evicted.”
“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:7-13
END TIMES JUDGEMENTS ARE ALREADY UPON US

Considering her book was written in 1959, after reading this excerpt, you will realise how much more appropriate the message is for us now. Apostasy and lawlessness abounds just as prophesied by Jesus. The following is from the last chapter of her book.
“The end-time judgements are already upon us. Now is our last chance to repent and to allow God to judge us personally, so that we can escape what is to come. That will be the grace of the rapture —delivered from a world in the throes of judgement and caught up to the Lord ( 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18). But not all who call themselves believers will be taken (Matthew 7:21). When Jesus comes again, He will be revealed in His majesty and divine glory. No one can enter His immediate presence or take their place beside Him unless they have been sanctified and remade in His likeness (Hebrews 12:14) . As we allow the Lord to judge us, chastening will do its transforming work in us. ”
‘Repent!‘ Like a trumpet blast from heaven the call sounds forth with tremendous urgency. Time is running out. Who will hear the call and pass it on? The Church needs to take up the challenge, so that nations are impacted and a movement of repentance gains momentum all over the earth. Where there is repentance, the hand of the Lord is stayed and judgement deferred or tempered with mercy. “It is not just for our own sake that God wants us to repent. More is at stake. In a world headed for destruction we as believers bear responsibility for our nations and for the human race at large. Soon the time of grace will be over. Soon God’s patience will run out, and His wrath will descend. Have we any idea of the full extent and horror of these judgements?
“Here in Germany our hands are stained with the blood of six million Jews. The day of reckoning will come. Our repentance, our weeping and mourning, needs to correspond to the enormity of our deeds.
“Tragically, it is the Church that is storing up God’s wrath.
We have missed so many chances to repent. Are we going to continue along this road? At the first coming of Jesus it was the religious who resisted the call. Sure of their own rightness, they objected when John the Baptist tried to shake them out of their complacency. ‘Why this constant emphasis on repentance? It’s so one-sided.’ Today anyone who consistently preaches repentance can count on similar reactions. ‘Fanatical. Unbalanced. A gloomy brand of Christianity. This is not the Good News.’ But the call to repentance is at the heart of the Gospel. Contrition and repentance lead us straight into the joy of forgiveness. “If we want Jesus to draw near, if we want to be delivered from judgement, there is only one way—repent! This is the call of the hour. Grace lies in store for those who lives are marked by repentance. In a world headed for the fullness of judgement, theirs will be the fullness of grace.
When Jesus comes in the clouds of heaven, He will gather them to Himself. They will be changed in an instant. Once humiliated, now they are exalted. Once they came weeping, wearing the garment of repentance. Now they wear the dazzling white wedding garment and, shining like the sun in the kingdom of their Father, they go in to celebrate the Wedding Feast. Matthew 13:43 “The greater the threat of judgement, the greater our repentance needs to be. And the greater our repentance, the greater the pardon and glory. Repent! That is God’s message to us in these end times. Blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it (Luke 11:28, Revelation 1:3,22:7). Blessed are those who respond to God’s offer of love. Here and now they will have a foretaste of heaven. More wonderful still, they will be prepared for their Lord, to celebrate with Him the Marriage Feast of the Lamb.’ He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.’ (Revelation 22:20).”

END TIMES APOSTASY UNDENIABLE
Only 6% of Americans possess a biblical worldview, according to a new survey. The study, which was released out of the recently launched Cultural Research Centre (CRC) based at Arizona Christian University, is called the American Worldview Inventory and is the first of what will be an annual report from veteran researcher George Barna, who is the CRC research director. The survey asked 51 worldview questions that examined both what people believe and how they conduct their lives. Approximately 20% of those who attend evangelical Protestant churches espouse a biblical worldview, as do 17% of those who attend charismatic or Pentecostal churches, the survey found. The numbers were much lower for those among mainline Protestant churches, 8%, and Catholics, 1%.
“Born again Christians, a segment defined in part by their acceptance of scriptural exhortations regarding sin, grace, and salvation, were three times more likely than average to have a biblical worldview (19%). However, the fact that not quite one out of five born again adults holds a biblical worldview highlights the extensive decline of core Christian principles in America over the last several decades,” the report said.
What are known as “notional” Christians, Americans who identify as Christian but do not profess to know Christ personally as Saviour, comprise 54 percent of the U.S. population. Very few of them, just one-tenth of 1 percent, hold a biblical worldview.
“A quarter-century ago we had as much as 12% of the adult population holding a biblical worldview,” Barna notes in the report. “Since that time, we have seen a steady reduction in the incidence. The current level, just 6%, which is literally half of the level when we started measuring this, is the lowest yet.” He added: “If you truly believe something, you integrate it into how you live, and your lifestyle reflects those beliefs. As a result, our worldview research always balances examining both what we believe to be true with how we translate such beliefs into action.” The societal shift toward non-Christian worldviews like postmodernism, Marxism, secular humanism, and modern mysticism is most clearly reflected in values, the report continues.
Citing previous research, Barna went on to explain that the dominant values in the United States today are acceptance, comfort, control, entertainment, entitlement, experiences, expression, freedom, and happiness. Those contemporary values highlight the profound contrast from previous eras in which a more widely accepted biblical worldview yielded civic duty, hard work, humility, faith, family, moderation and the rule of law.
“Unless America experiences a steady increase in people reflecting a biblical worldview in their lives, America’s future is more likely to resemble that of nations characterised by moral and behavioural chaos,” commented Tracy Munsil, executive director and an associate professor of political science at Arizona Christian University.

PROPHETIC DREAMS ABOUT SOON COMING EVENTS IN THE USA.
I am sure that many of you reading this post will have viewed or read about the frightening prophetic dreams which Pastor Dana Coverstone of Living Word Ministries Assemblies of God in Burkesville, Kentucky has shared on YouTube. He spoke about three prophetic dreams he had and their relationship to current as well as near future world events. Many evangelical Christian leaders have commented on the content. From my perspective Coverstone is a longtime pastor who has not previously sought publicity nor does he come across as arrogant [or] trying to build up his ministry. I urge you to watch the video and reach your own conclusion, but I saw no reason to doubt Coverstone’s heart in this video.
DARK ‘SCIENCE’: EXPERIMENTING WITH ‘DISPOSABLE’ UNBORN BABIES
‘eugenics’, meaning ‘well-born’ (from Greek εὖ eu, ‘well’ and γένος genos, ‘offspring’
In the early 20th century, eugenics flourished in the UK, in most European countries, and also in the USA, where over 60,000 citizens were forcibly sterilised.
The Nazis forcibly sterilised some 400,000 mentally and physically handicapped persons, then progressed to the ‘mercy killing’ of almost another 300,000 citizens, and finally proceeded to the genocide of millions of Jews and other non-Aryan ‘unsuitables’.
After World War 2, the term ‘eugenics’ was avoided; however, the concept is still alive and well. In April 2016, the British weekly magazine The Spectator published an article titled: “The return of eugenics: Researchers don’t like the word—but they’re running ahead with the idea, and Britain is at the forefront.”4 In it, author Fraser Nelson points out that in Britain today, using IVF technology, “£12,000 buys you the chance to choose which embryo to implant. And £400 buys sperm-sorting, the better to conceive a boy (or a girl).” And, “Developments in IVF mean that, today, several embryos can be fertilised and screened for disease, with the winner implanted in the uterus.”

In January 2016, a new biomedical research centre called the Francis Crick Institute was opened in London to begin a gene-editing technique known as CRISPR-Cas9
A group there, led by Dr Kathy Niakan, “was granted consent by the United Kingdom’s Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) to undertake gene editing using human embryos
“Dr Niakan’s team are working with donated embryos left over from IVF treatment, which cannot be used after 14 days and are prohibited from ever being implanted in a woman.” . Proponents glibly claim: “There are no deaths, no sterilisations, no abortions: just a scientifically guided conception.” Incorrect! When a male sex cell successfully unites with a female sex cell, a new single-celled living organism is generated. This immediately starts to multiply and develop until finally a baby is born. It is thus alive from conception, and there is no rational, scientific or biblical reason to conclude other than that it is always a person—a genetically unique unborn person. And therefore it is not to be washed down the drain after 14 days of life in a petri dish any more than a 14-week-old infant or a 90-year-old invalid.
In God’s eyes, the unborn are already unique individuals, as attested by David in Psalm 139, where he writes of how God formed him in the womb, and says (v. 16): “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”
Also, societal problems of this gene alteration include that parents may also want taller, smarter, better ‘designer’ babies. But surely if the wealthy are able to specify super-babies in this way, it will only widen the ‘opportunity gap’ between the rich and the poor.
Critics further warn that this manipulation of the genetic code could have unintended consequences that won’t be apparent until after the babies involved are born. And further into the future, the effects of such manipulation on future generations are totally unknown.
Fraser Nelson sums up the current situation well: “So some 130 years after Britain gave the world the idea of perfecting humanity, we are once again at the cutting edge of this troubled science. For good or ill, eugenics is back. Moreover, it is another signal for the Berean Christian that we are in the last days which signals the urgency for completing the Great Commission.
INTRODUCTION TO END TIMES SCRIPTURES
This is a great series of eight videos to introduce any one to “End Times” Scriptures. Please use them to educate yourself first, then share them with your circle of family and friends. I will share one, with my take on each, over the next eight posts.
Biblical end-times prophecy is like a jigsaw puzzle and all of the pieces must fit together perfectly to reveal God’s bigger picture of redemption. Many believers in Jesus Christ today sense that His return is coming soon. Unfortunately, the subject of His return and the spiritual preparation necessary to weather the coming great apostasy are rarely discussed in churches. God has given us prophetic details and instructions for a purpose and it is time to wake up and pay attention. This 8 session Bible study on the End of the Age is meant to be a warning and a wake-up call to those who profess His name. Session 1 is an introduction which should convict you of the importance of these “End Times” Scriptures.
