It seems like we are in “fast forward” mode. Last days prophesied “birth pangs” do increase in intensity with time.

No doubt this lack of fear has been brought about by one of Satan’s most effective strategies – evolution, which has destroyed belief in the Bible as God’s inerrant Word. Ten years ago, you would have laughed me to scorn if I told you Bruce Jenner would become Caitlyn Jenner and be named Woman of the Year. You would have ridiculed me if I told you the federal government would punish schools that refused to open the girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms to boys who identified as girls.
Today, “transphobic” is a household word, a gender-confused teen has his own reality TV show and drag queens are reading stories to toddlers in libraries.
Ten years ago, you would have said “Impossible!” to the idea that a minor with unwanted same-sex attraction would be forbidden by law to receive professional counseling, even if that child expressly requested it and even if that child had been sexually abused. And you would have dismissed completely the notion that some states would seek to bar such counseling from adults as well.
Today, a number of states have outlawed this much-needed counseling for struggling minors, while California is poised to make it illegal for anyone of any age to receive professional help for unwanted same-sex attraction or gender-confusion. That is the unvarnished, unembellished truth.
And what happens when we draw attention to this outrageous California bill? We are attacked as maniacs.
As one gay activist put it (specifically, in the context of my opposition to the California bill), “Brown is a religious zealot—a Christian convert—who is barely distinguishable from the folks who flew airplanes into buildings for their god. Unlike them, Brown is nonviolent. However, like those 9/11 maniacs, Brown substitutes literalist religious belief for logic, science and common sense. Brown, I think, relishes the negative attention and while I say that he is nonviolent he does equivalent violence to LGBT people every day through misinformation.”
This is what comes your way when you oppose radical LGBT activism. This is what you can expect when you take a stand for liberty and freedom. This is what happens when you tell the truth.
This same gay activist wrote, “In the final analysis, Michael Brown is an advocate of pseudoscience in order to conform the world to his religious beliefs. It should be noted that Brown sports a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages. Obviously, he has no training or work experience relative to human sexuality.”
And after claiming that there is no scientific evidence that sexual orientation can be changed through counseling or that gender-confused children can, with help, become at home in their own bodies, he writes, “If Michael Brown knows of more compelling research, he has not cited it. He has failed to make any meaningful argument in support of conversion therapy. Promoting the existence of this mythical approach only creates prejudice and discrimination. It serves no useful purpose. Come to think of it, Michael Brown serves no useful purpose. It is a cheap shot, but the guy rails against LGBT people all day, every day. Maybe he needs a new hobby.”
Actually, I and others have been citing scientific literature for years, along with an endless number of personal anecdotes from friends and colleagues. (I’m talking about former homosexuals and former transgenders.) But whoever we cite gets discredited immediately, since the psychologists and psychiatrists and therapists and scholars do not adhere to the standard LGBT talking points.
Ryan Anderson provides ample scientific literature about transgender issues in his new book, while a major review of scientific literature by two prominent psychologists addresses broader issues of sexual orientation change as well. Be assured that the science is there.
This, however, is not to deny that there are many gays and transgenders who have tried to change, without success. They have suffered depression and fear and self-loathing, spiraling even deeper into hopeless after unsuccessful therapy efforts. I do not minimize their struggles, I do not pretend to be able to relate to what they have endured, and I constantly call on the church to show great compassion to such strugglers.
But to each of them—and to the critics who attack us with such venom—I make a simple appeal. Allow others to find their own path.
When you try to pass laws that will take away essential freedoms of those you differ with, and when you demonise those who oppose your values, you only discredit yourselves. In the long run, this will work against you. We will overcome your venom and anger and bills and laws with grace and truth and love—and God’s help.”

The threats from the Commander of Iran’s Army Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi come amid almost daily warnings of conflict from Tehran and Jerusalem, heightened by an alleged Israeli strike on an Iranian base in Syria earlier in the month.A day
“When the arrogant powers create a sanctuary for the Zionist regime to continue survival, we shouldn’t allow one day to be added to the ominous and illegitimate life of this regime,” Mousavi told a ceremony in Tehran on Saturday, April 21st, according to the Fars news agency. “The Army will move hand in hand with the Iran Revolutionary Guards Corps so that the arrogant system will collapse and the Zionist regime will be annihilated,” General Moussavi said.
He predicted this would take place within 25 years, a number frequently used by the Iranian leadership.
Speaking hours later Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah warned that the Lebanese terror group’s rockets could hit all of Israel.

“Israel: Don’t trust in your airbases; they’re within reach,” Hossein Salami wrote on Twitter, also making similar comments in a fiery speech.
On Friday, the vice commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards warned Israel that its airbases are “within reach,” in remarks apparently reacting to Israel’s publication on Tuesday of a map showing five Tehran-controlled bases in Syria.
Israel, said Salami, was living “in the dragon’s mouth.” Both northern and western Israel were “in the range of our missiles,” he threatened, in a speech given in Tehran.
“Wherever you are in the occupied land, you’ll be under fire from us, from east and west. You became arrogant. If there’s a war, the result will be your complete elimination,” he said.
“Your soldiers and civilians will flee, and you won’t survive. And you’ll have nowhere to run, except to fall into the sea.”
EZEKIEL 38 & 39 – Gog of Magog and DANIEL 11: 40-45. Both Ezekiel and Daniel give us a description of the last days invasion (Armageddon) of Israel led by the Antichrist (Gog) of Turkey (Magog). The five named nations (Muslim) involved in the Gog invasion are Persia (Iran), Cush (Ethiopia/Northern Sudan) and Put (Libya and other parts of Northern Africa). Gomer and Togarmah (modern-day Turkey) but they state “many” other nations will join them.
‘Quiet purge’ of Jews, ‘Islamist radicalisation’ denounced by French politicians and celebrities
More than 250 major French personalities including politicians and actors have signed a manifesto denouncing a “new antisemitism” in France marked by “Islamist radicalisation” after a string of murders of Jews. The text was published on Sunday in several newspapers.

France’s half-a-million-plus Jewish community is the largest in Europe but has been hit by a wave of emigration to Israel in the past two decades, partly due to the emergence of virulent antisemitism in predominantly immigrant neighbourhoods.
“In our recent history, 11 Jews have been assassinated – and some tortured – by radical Islamists because they were Jewish,’’ they say.
The signatories condemn what they called a “quiet ethnic purging” driven by rising Islamist radicalism particularly in working-class neighbourhoods. They also accused the media of remaining silent on the matter. “French Jews are 25 times more at risk of being attacked than their fellow Muslim citizens,” adds the manifesto.
“We demand that the fight against this democratic failure that is anti-Semitism becomes a national cause before it’s too late. Before France is no longer France,” reads the manifesto co-signed by several politicians from the left and right including ex-president Nicolas Sarkozy, former Prime Minister Manuel Valls and also celebrities like actor Gerard Depardieu and singer Charles Aznavour.
The latest attack to rock France took place last month when two perpetrators stabbed 85-year-old Holocaust survivor Mireille Knoll eleven times, before setting her body on fire. Her brutal death sent shock waves through France and prompted 30,000 people to join a march in her memory. Condemning the “dreadful” killing, President Emmanuel Macron reiterated his determination to fight antisemitism.
When people believe they are victims, they can’t do anything about it, and it’s someone else’s fault, they first resent then ultimately hate the “someone else.”
You may have heard the terms “Political Correctness” or “Cultural Marxism.” These things are dangerous for the same reasons old-fashioned Marxism was.
No longer are the evangelists for these ideas parroting lines about rich and poor. The lines of oppression are now divided between many more categories.
Women and men, trans* and cis, gay and straight, black and white, poor and rich… Or perhaps more accurately, women against men, trans* against cis, gay against straight, poor against rich… Female victims at war with male oppressors. Trans* victims at war with cis oppressors. Gay victims at war with straight oppressors. Poor victims at war with rich oppressors… You get the idea.
The narrative of power and victim-hood is starting to permeate everything, including religion.
Fortunately for Ross, he is a man, he’s white, he’s straight, he’s wealthy… So he gets to use teleportation to cross the river. Handy! Sadly for Stevie, she is a woman, she’s not white, she’s a refugee, she’s not well off, she’s marginalised. So Stevie has to swim. That’s unfair.
The song concludes with a quick lesson, telling children that Ross got a “free ride” because of “privilege.” That is, some people get a free ride “just because of how they were born.”
Aren’t they just teaching kids to think more compassionately? The simple answer is no. Children who grow up believing that life is all about power imbalances between victims and oppressors grow up with a quiet sense of resentment towards certain groups of people. It breeds tribalism and anger.
We see it in the changes taking place in social life.
This is why debate in Australia is becoming less civil and more polarised. People are getting angrier and more resentful. This is why activists are shutting down opposing voices. They are waging war with oppressors.
Every week a new story seems to emerge that brings these ideas to light. Yesterday we heard that New South Wales hospitals will now be required to have segregated “Culturally Appropriate Spaces” for indigenous patients to use as waiting rooms. Again… compassion? Or fuelling a narrative of victim-hood? Apparently going to a “culturally inappropriate” hospital waiting room is a form of oppression.
The narrative is made worse by the fact that, according to these ideologies, none of these groups can resolve their differences through dialogue. Dialogue is just a ruse of the powerful to keep on oppressing.
Small wonder then that the societies who go all the way down this road descend into a pit of conflict, oppression, war and terror. Some humans become more equal than others. Speech and dialogue are suppressed by the state. Anger, resentment and arrogance are the order of the day.
South Africa should be a grave warning to all who would engage in identity politics. Not only for its history of apartheid, but also due to emerging tensions between white and black communities. White farmers are having their properties broken into, robbed and their families brutalised and beaten. They are targeted because they are white. The Australian carried a story last week of a white South African woman who had her feet drilled through with a power tool, chunks of flesh cut from her skin, and her property stolen. It told the story of a man who was beaten and bound whilst his wife was raped in front of their three children. People told of their security precautions – regular perimeter checks, concealed firearms, sophisticated security systems. The end of all this is very serious.
Jesus warns us in the Sermon on the Mount that the escalation from resentment, to hatred, to murderous intent and murder is one that we shouldn’t dismiss lightly. These are all species of the same state of heart and they are all related to the sin of murder itself.
If we have come to a point where we teach our children, through animation and song, that there are categories of people in our community to be resented and brought down from their pedestals of power, we are asking for terrible trouble.
It stands in stark contrast to Christ’s message that what really matters is not privilege, tribe or birth. What really matters is the condition of one’s heart before God, and in that is great blessing.
We must teach our children what Christ teaches us: blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
But we have taught them instead that privilege is what matters and we have divided them against each other in tribal battles.
In one generation we have seen reasonable public debate and principles of tolerance begin to collapse spectacularly.
Where will we be in another generation? Will it take that long?
Surely, as God and His Word is increasingly rejected by the world and His church, it is proof positive, we are in the Biblical “last days”.

Erdogan attacked Israel as “a terrorist state,” notwithstanding the widespread condemnation he has faced over the mounting death toll of Kurds killed by Turkish forces.
After Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday over harsh criticism of Israel’s handling of violent rioting in Gaza, Erdogan shot back with a number of insults aimed at the head of the Jewish state.
Erdogan’s comments were apparently prompted by Netanyahu’s observation that the Turkish leader “is not used to being talked back to” or accustomed to being confronted for “occupying North Cyprus, invading the Kurdish belt and butchering civilians in Afrin.” Netanyahu warned Erdogan that with a record such as this, he “should not preach to us about values and morality.”
When you consider this escalation of hostility with the following report, you realise how it ties in with last days wars prophesied in God’s Word.

The article called on the 57 member states of the OIC to form a joint “Army of Islam” to besiege and attack the state of Israel. Speaking before the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee conference in Washington Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned of a clear and present danger facing the world: the threat of a nuclear Iran. It was good to hear him quote Scripture – the Book of Esther.
“Darkness is descending on our region,” Netanyahu warned, naming “radical tyranny” as the force behind Tehran’s quest to build an “aggressive empire” that includes Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Yemen and more—all in a quest to seek Israel’s destruction.
He condemned President Obama’s 2015 Iran nuclear agreement and said Iran its proxies are looking for ways to attack Israel.
“Last week, we read in the Book of Esther about an earlier Persian attempt to exterminate our people. They failed then. They’ll fail now.”
“In addition to moving its army, its air force, its navy to Syria to be able to attack Israel from closer hand—it’s also seeking to develop, to build precision-guided missile factories in Syria, Lebanon against Israel. I will not let that happen,” he vowed, before praising President Donald Trump for his firm stance against a nuclear Iran.
“President Trump has made it clear that his administration will not accept Iran’s aggression in the region. He has made clear that he too will never accept a nuclear-armed Iran. That is the right policy. I salute President Trump on this,” Netanyahu said.
“And the president has also made it clear that if the fatal flaws of the nuclear deal are not fixed, he will walk away from the deal and restore sanctions,” he added. “Israel will be right there by America’s side, and let me tell you, so will a hundred countries in the region.
Netanyahu concluded by reminding those present that the “wellspring” of the U.S. and Israel’s enduring friendship was their shared values, under girded by a strong faith in God.
“They come from a certain book—a great book, a good book. It’s called the Bible,” Netanyahu told the audience. “It says that all of us are created in the image of God.”
“These values are an inseparable part of America’s story,” he continued. “They’re an inseparable part of Israel’s story. And today we’re writing a new chapter of our common story—a story of freedom, of justice, of peace, of hope.”
“And it’s because we’re inspired by the same ideas because we’re animated by the same values that America and Israel have forged, an eternal bond that can never ever be broken,” he said.
As prophesied there would be a great falling away in the church in the “last days”. Already, apostasy is rife across denominations (more like demonations). When answering the disciples questions on His second coming, Jesus said, “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” Matthew 24:11-12

Jesus fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy “the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a great light has dawned.” Matthew 4:16

We are to be mature, steadfast, joyful, spiritual watchmen with our eyes fixed on Jesus so we see and align with what our Heavenly Father is doing.

Following SAME SEX MARRIAGE becoming lawful in Australia, a review is underway of religious freedoms.
TheYES Campaign for Same Sex Marriage has advocated for the complete removal of religious freedoms from discrimination laws. Christian schools, churches and religious organisations would not be able to employ staff or enrol members or students that share their faith.
The Rationalist Society argues for the same, adding that the “overwhelming” yes vote in the postal survey confirms that such “prejudice” is no longer acceptable in modern Australia.
They are far from alone, and they are not the most extreme.
The National Secular Lobby goes the farthest, arguing that the indoctrination of children into religious faiths is a “tragic consequence” of religious freedom protections in international law. They claim, “It now represents ‘intellectual child abuse’ to allow children to be taught Biblical myths…”
The Northern Territory may be the first to fall, with the Attorney-General’s department currently undertaking a “modernisation” of their anti-discrimination laws which includes a complete review of all the religious freedoms they contain. Their discussion paper on the issue is ominous.
Christians are already getting in trouble with the law for living out the most basic tenets of their faith. These changes would make it worse.
Tasmania’s discrimination laws have seen Christian pastor Campbell Markham and Catholic Archbishop Julian Porteous hauled before the Equal Opportunity Commission for publishing Christian teachings. Markham may soon be at the Tasmanian Supreme Court.
Flimsy protections for religious freedom have seen a Western Australian couple scrambling for justice since having their foster parenting application declined based on their Christian convictions.
Anti-Discrimination laws are currently being weaponized against faith-based schools in Victoria to force them to adopt radical transgender policies that contradict their beliefs.
Teaching the gospel, maintaining a Christian home, providing a Christian education to disciple the next generation. All these endeavours, and many more besides, are genuinely under threat.

“For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have consulted together with one consent;

The following are excerpts from the Yeni Şafak article:
“If the OIC member states unite and form a joint military force, it will be the largest army in the world. These countries’ total population is 1,674,526,931. The number of soldiers in active service in these countries is at least 5,206,100. Their [overall] military defence budget, of $174,728,420, is also worthy of emphasis.
“As for Israel, it is significantly inferior. The population of this country, which attempted to occupy Jerusalem while surrounded by Muslim states, is 8,049,314. Note that the population of Istanbul alone exceeds 14 million. The number of soldiers in active service in the [Israeli] occupation forces is 160,000, and [Israel’s] defense budget is approximately $15,600,000,000.
“In a possible military operation, the first step is expected to involve 250,000 soldiers, and the establishment of joint land, air and naval bases for use in the short term. 500 tanks and armored vehicles, 100 war planes, 500 attack helicopters and 50 warships and submarines can be mobilized.”
“The war planes that will be dispatched to the region from greater distances will be stationed in airbases [closer to Israel]. Israel will most likely to be besieged by the naval fleets that will be sent to the Mediterranean and the Red Sea.
“Turkey will serve as an important headquarters during the operation, due to its land, air and naval infrastructures. The Turkish army, which carried out ‘Operation Euphrates Shield’ [in Syria in 2017] with great success, is now ranked the world’s seventh strongest army, and the second largest army among the NATO powers. Turkey has approximately 4,000 tanks and 1,000 war planes and other aircraft. Its navy made significant progress during the last years, with 194 vessels at its disposal.
“As the only country which possesses nuclear weapons, Pakistan has an important status among the 57 Muslim [OIC] countries… Those who believe that they are the owners of Jerusalem today will not find a single tree to hide behind tomorrow.
“In a statement, Malaysian Defence Minister [Hishammuddin] Hussein described Trump’s recognition [of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital] as a blow to Muslims, and added: ‘The Malaysian armed forces are ready to fulfil their duty regarding Jerusalem.’
God has brought Trump in to support Israel at a critical time in its history. Also, Biblical prophecy tells us that we will see a Shia/Sunni battle for dominance play out before an attack on Israel and this already seems underway, as presented in recent posts.
