ANOTHER PROPHESIED “LAST DAYS” SIGN

A majority of evangelicals now believe that God accepts the worship of all religions, according to a new study released by Ligonier Ministries. At a time when a darkened world needs the light of the Gospel, it’s disheartening to see many within the evangelical church confused about core Biblical doctrine.

“I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Me” John 14:6

Chris Larson, president of Ligonier Ministries, says the results of the 2018 State of Theology survey conducted by LifeWay Research and released Tuesday shows an urgent need for bold teaching of historic Christianity.

In the survey in which a representative sample of 3,000 Americans were interviewed, evangelicals were asked about their views on a series of theological statements including: “God accepts the worship of all religions, including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.”

Some 51 percent of respondents were shown to agree with the statement, while 42 percent disagreed. Two years earlier in 2016, 49 percent of evangelicals were found to agree with the statement while 43 percent said they disagreed.

“The Bible is clear that the Gospel is the only way of salvation, and God will not accept the worship of other faiths. It is only through Jesus Christ and by His Spirit that we are able to worship the Father in spirit and in truth (John 4:24),” the researchers note.

Among other troubling theology embraced by evangelicals according to the survey, is that a majority of evangelicals believe that most people are basically good by nature and that Jesus was the first and greatest being created by God the Father — some 78 percent of evangelicals agree with this. Only 71 percent of evangelicals supported this idea in 2016.

“These results are a serious cause for concern. It is the depth of man’s sin that led Jesus to die on the cross. How, then, can a majority of evangelicals say most people are good by nature? Down through history, Christians have proclaimed that Jesus is truly God, not some sort of created being. The evangelical world is in great danger of slipping into irrelevance when it casually forgets the Bible’s doctrine,” he said.

The results of the 2018 State of Theology survey, which was conducted from April 24 to May 4, 2018, echoes previous studies which have been pointing to a rejection of orthodox Christian beliefs by many American Christians.

GOD HAS REVEALED HIS “END TIMES” PLAN

The Bible is full of prophecies, at least 25% of its content and those already fulfilled were accurate. We can reasonably expect, the many yet to be fulfilled will also happen exactly as prophesied. However, those prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled are not so easy to interpret. There is a lot of disagreement on specific events, such as the last seven years prior to Jesus return and the timing of the Rapture.

I need to say that it has only been over the last two years that the Holy Spirit has burdened me to alert the church that recent events show clearly we are approaching the last seven years of Daniels 70 Weeks (Daniel 9:24-27). The Bible does reveal that God has an “end times” plan.

We know the end of the story, dead in Christ raised first, and the saints who are alive will be raptured before God pours out His wrath on an unbelieving world.

After God’s wrath has been poured out with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements, Jesus will return with us believers in our glorified bodies, exactly as He said He would, to Mount Olives. He will then complete the unfinished work to save and restore Israel where He will rule and reign  from Jerusalem for one thousand years (Millennial Kingdom).

Make sure you are in a church that understands the urgency of the times. A church that takes seriously Jesus command to GO and take The Great Commission to an unbelieving world. A church like in the Book of Acts that is raising up disciples who in turn will raise up more disciples.

MARK OF THE BEAST: MICROCHIP IMPLANTS?

End-Times Scholar: Microchips Are Scary Next Step to Control Population

A technology growing in popularity allows computer chips to be implanted under the skin. It brings to mind the “mark of the beast” prophesied in Revelation 13:16-17. For the first time in history, technology has made it possible.

Christian activists, including conspiracy theorist Mark Dice, the author of a book titled The Resistance Manifesto, make the link between chipping of humans and the biblical mark of the beast prophesied to be a future requirement for buying and selling.

It will be very attractive to governments in order to control people and their finances. Moreover, they can put a positive spin on its implementation. It has so much potential for good that it is almost inevitable that governments will want to use this,” Rabbi Pinchas Winston, a prolific end-of-days author, said. “They can’t afford prisons and policing anymore for the expanding populations. Rather than put someone in prison, they can make it impossible to exit their home. If they identify a criminal, they can remotely shut down their car, deny them access to money and food. A lot of people will be deterred from non-compliance with the law.

The process is relatively simple. An identifying integrated circuit device or Radio-frequency identification (RFID) transponder encased in silicate glass approximately the size of a grain of rice is implanted under the skin using a device similar to a syringe. Local anaesthetic is used during the procedure. The use of sub-dermal RFIDs for domestic and farm animals is widespread and some countries require them to be implanted This was first done by a physician in 1998 and was approved for use in humans by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2004.

Proponents of this new technology claim a myriad of benefits. Some companies currently recommend implantation for their employees for security purposes. Locks and elevators can be paired with sensors so that only specific people can open a door. Computers can use the sensor to identify users when they log on, allowing them to access files and systems specific to them. Using the chip as “biopayment” in place of a credit card is in the developmental stages and could lead to a cashless society. It is also feasible to create a smart gun that will only allow the owner of a gun to fire it. Theoretically, a GPS-enabled chip could one day make it possible for individuals to be physically located anywhere on the planet. The chip can link to an external database containing vital medical information for emergency use. This would be especially useful in cases of dementia or where the patient is uncooperative. It can also be used by law enforcement agencies to identify subjects and track their movements. Both of these applications raise serious concerns about civil liberties.

MORE ON THE TWO WITNESSES OF REVELATION 11 FROM ZECHARIAH 4

Pastor Steven Anderson, a Baptist pastor, does a good job of showing how Revelation 11 reveals the answers to the questions posed by Zechariah to the angel, on the vision given of the golden lampstand and the two olive trees, in Zechariah 4.

The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 are the two anointed ones, the spirit of the Lord has come upon them, and it certainly could be the Spirit of Elijah and Moses considering the works we are told these two witnesses do, which mirror those done by Elijah and Moses.

After the Rapture, God will still have His witnesses on the earth with the Two Witnesses in Jerusalem and the 144,000 evangelists – “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants (144,000) of our God on their foreheads” Revelation 7:3

I would also agree with Pastor Anderson on his timing of The Rapture being PreWrath just before God pours out His wrath upon the earth with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements.

PREWRATH ESCHATOLOGY SIMPLIFIED

Prewrath eschatology sees the Parousia as a complex-whole, where God will fulfil a variety of purposes:

  1. Beginning with the revelation of Christ in the sky displaying his shekinah glory and power to the whole world .
  2. Resurrection and rapture of God’s people.
  3. Immediately followed by the wrath of God poured out on the earth with the trumpet and bowl judgements. It is the day of the Lord’s judgements upon the ungodly and Antichrist’s kingdom. Duration is possibly 1 year and 10 days, same time as God poured out His wrath the first time during the days of Noah.
  4. Jesus return to this earth with the saints, restoring Israel to salvation which begins Christ’s earthly reign on this earth for a thousand years. Curse is not lifted off the entire earth. People still die. At the end of Jesus thousand year reign, Satan is released and deceives the nations and a final battle occurs which God ends with fire from heaven. Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire and God’s word says he, the beast and the false prophet will be tormented forever and ever.
  5. The Great White Throne Judgement is held in heaven after the dead unbelievers are raised to life.
  6. Unbelievers will be cast into the lake of Fire, which for them will be ultimately, after due punishment, the second death. “Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:14 Also Jesus said, “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Only Satan and his minions face eternal torment in the Lake of Fire which was prepared for them. Matthew 25:41
  7. “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

HOLD ON: THERE’S A NEW WORLD COMING

Great 10 minute message from Anne Lotz from Isaiah 35.

God revealed much to Isaiah of how in the “last days” He will return to save and restore Israel. Moreover, their Messiah (Jesus), a descendant of David, will rule and reign from Jerusalem.

Anne Lotz, as do most other believers, realises that we are in the “last days” and that we need to HOLD ON to God’s promises knowing our redeemer will return exactly as prophesied in the Bible.

HOW GOD IS POSITIONING ISRAEL AND THE CHURCH FOR HIS END TIMES PURPOSES

“Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,” Ephesians 3:5-6

It is interesting to observe that from our Heavenly Father’s perspective, He has been equitable with individual focuses to both parts of the family:

  • 2000 years from the time of Abraham to Yeshua, the time of the Jews/Israel.
  • 2000 years from the time of Jesus to this modern day, the time of the Gentiles.

In a spirit of John 17 unity, God is awakening the church to connect with Israel as we realise the time is drawing near for the last 7 years of the 70 X 7 prophecy in Daniel 9. Gabriel delivered this amazing prophecy to Daniel:

“Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place.” Daniel 9:24

For those of us who are connected to the Father’s heart, we can sense it, we can feel it, and we know the final awakening is drawing near. PROPHESIED GOG OF MAGOG WAR IN EZEKIEL 38 & 39

The Bible is amazing, unlike any other book it is has proved it is God breathed by fulfilled prophecy. At least 300 prophecies of Jesus first coming were shown to be true, Isaiah 53 is a standout. Do you know there are far more prophecies about Jesus second coming than there were about His first coming? Moreover, if you have been following my blog, you realise we are closing in fast on the “last days” before Jesus returns.

Israel re-established as a nation in 1948 (70 years ago now) was a very significant sign, mentioned by Jesus in the Olivet Discourse. Apostasy in the church is another significant sign. False prophets is another. The current Pope and the Catholic church believe that there are other ways to God than Jesus. This is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and a sure “end times” sign. Also, whoever would have believed much of the church would accept gay marriage and homosexual and transgender pastors?

In my last post, I presented evidence for Iran being the ram in Daniel 8 and mentioned the likelihood of Turkey (Magog and a revived Ottoman Empire) being the goat that takes out the ram.

What is unfolding now in the Middle East has been foretold. In this video by Joel Richardson, he speaks of Iran’s invasion of the Middle East outlined in Daniel 8. but he focuses mainly on events in Ezekiel 38 and 39 which talks of the later Gog of Magog war.

Joel does a great job of showing that Gog is one of the names of the Antichrist and Magog is his country, Turkey. Gog is the leader of a Muslim coalition. The primary peoples and tribes (regions) are listed: Meshech, Put, Gomer, Tubal, Persia, Togarmah (all of these are in Turkey) plus other nations, all of them Muslim.

Turkey (Sunni) is using Isis against Assad and Kurds.  Iran (Shiite) is using Assad , Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza in its efforts to control the region. Russia is siding with Iran. USA is trying to oppose Assad so Russia and USA are in conflict.
