CONFIRMATION WE ARE IN THE BIBLICAL END TIMES

Fuller Seminary is a well-known theological school with campuses in California, Texas, and Arizona, and it advertises itself as an evangelical graduate institution with “roots in orthodoxy.” Well, recently, the Fuller Seminary president, in a letter about LGBTQ issues, stated:

After several years of consultation, feedback, and dialogue, the Board of Trustees reconfirmed the institution’s commitment to its historic theological understanding of marriage and human sexuality—a union between a man and a woman and sexual intimacy within the context of that union. At the same time, we acknowledge that faithful Christians—through prayerful study, spiritual discernment, and lived experience—have come to affirm other covenantal forms of relationship.

It took several years of “consultation, feedback, and dialogue” to make a statement on marriage and human sexuality when all they had was to read and believe God’s Word:

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27

Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.Genesis 2:24–25

And see the words of Jesus Christ as the God-man when asked about marriage:

He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?Matthew 19:4–5

Since God created marriage, he defines what it is—and it is one man for one woman.

Many seminaries, Bible colleges, Christian colleges and universities, and churches today, rather than fearing God, fear man and try to appease everyone (and in the process, they appease no one and certainly don’t please the Lord!).

These so-called Biblical institutions do not understand where we are on the Biblical timetable, yet there are two thousand Biblical prophecies related to Jesus’ second coming. Most have been fulfilled or are being fulfilled in our day.

Just like the religious leaders of Jesus’ first coming to Earth did not get it, despite three hundred Biblical prophecies forecasting it, the religious leaders of our day are also blind to the truth of His second coming.

We need to take a bold stand on God’s Word beginning in Genesis, challenge these seminaries, Bible colleges, Christian colleges, universities, churches, and culture, and not bend our stand on God’s Word to fit with the culture and compromise Christians. We must make the most of these last days to ensure we complete the work God has prepared for us to do.

SHOULD CHRISTIANS ACKNOWLEDGE THE PRACTICE OF ‘WELCOME TO COUNTRY’.

Reconciliation Australia acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past and present. Incorporating Acknowledgement of Country and Welcome to Country into meetings, gatherings, and events shows respect by upholding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural protocols. Taking the time to acknowledge Country, or including a Welcome to Country at an event, reminds us that every day we live, work, and dream on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lands.

Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Studies (AIATSIS), Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer Jude Barlow says, “Being welcomed to Country means that you are talking to your spiritual ancestors and you’re saying [to the spirits] just let this person come through. We trust that they’re not going to do any harm to this Country, and so do not harm them.”

Welcome to country is “about ensuring your spiritual safety. Because my ancestors… are still present in Country. They’re still with us. They’re in the animals. They’re in the trees.”

Barlow concludes, “I look to be welcomed so that I feel a sense that the spirits are okay with me being there.”

The rest of this post is taken from an article ‘Country’ is a Pagan Animist Concept, So Why the Christian Compromise? 26th May, 2025 by Dave Pellowe, founder of The Good Source.

Correctly and culturally understood, ‘Country’ is irrevocably tied to spiritism and animism. Yet, an acknowledgment of ‘Country’ is again planned for the Sydney Prayer Breakfast, a high-profile, purportedly Christian, inclusive networking event.

Choosing Between ‘Nice’ (Fearing Man) or Good (Fearing God)

We can’t be nice about the implicit religious claims of anything in a bottle labelled “Country”. That word, in cultural context, is a container of meaning which contradicts the teaching of Jesus Christ and the clear doctrines of Christian Scripture.

The tragedy which faithful, well formed Christians must contend with today is the silence of “nice” denominational leaders taken by unbelievers as the definition of Christian belief. Some liberal Christians with an obviously low view of Scripture even act as apologists for and embrace traditional Aboriginal religious rituals and occultism.

Be encouraged: I am getting reports of Christian schools and other organisations reading this teaching and research on “Country” and repenting of ever including it in their community. Every single one must do likewise urgently. (That research was updated this week with additional photographic evidence from three major museums as well as an SBS election article.)

There is a remnant that will not bow the knee! I have been invited to speak at the Albury Wodonga Prayer Breakfast in July and the National Prayer Breakfast in September. Praise God both of these events have boldly confirmed there will be no welcome to or acknowledgment of “Country”!

The choice is between “nice”, and good. In this instance, we cannot be both. Fear men, or fear God.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID

The phrases “do not be afraid” or “fear not” appear throughout the Bible more than 80 times. Scripture relentlessly emphasises fear and our need to view it correctly — biblically. If this is woven so deeply into the text of God’s word, does that not signal severe significance?

Psychologically, fear hijacks our brains, thrusting us into “fight-or-flight” mode. As our minds scramble to assess the threat, our bodies react with pounding hearts and quickening breath. For some, fear acts like a paralysing fog, dulling our senses until we can barely hear, see, feel, or think straight. Science has exhaustively mapped these mental and physical tolls. But there’s a deeper layer we must confront: What happens to us spiritually when fear takes hold?

These men would not renounce their Christian faith and embrace Islam. They died martyrs.

Just as fear cripples us physically and mentally, it devastates our spiritual vitality. It blinds us to God’s presence, as if a veil covers our eyes. It deafens us to His voice, muffling the whispers of comfort and guidance. Hope slips from our grasp like a fading sensation. Our thoughts? They drift far from our Saviour, lost in the chaos of our own panic. Fear doesn’t just cause us to stumble — it wounds us, cutting deeper than we often dare to admit.

Fear’s hold is devastating when we take our eyes off God and fix them on lesser things. When our gaze is captured by the clamouring woes and suffocating worries of this fallen world, we will inevitably end up in a distracted, vulnerable state.

When fear appears to have conquered, it’s crucial to recall the following Scriptures:

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8:37-39

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.1 John 4:18a

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.1 Peter 5:7

When the weight of our fear begins to feel like too much to bear, we turn to Christ and cast them on Him. The Bible couldn’t be clearer where our hope, rest, and security are found:

When the cares of my heart are many, Your comfort brings me joy Psalm 94:19

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me” Psalm 23:4

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Psalms 118:6

When we know and genuinely believe that our trials cannot sever us from God’s grip, fear loses its power.

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8:38-39

Fear holds no genuine power over those in Christ, and it’s not because of what we have done, what we can do, or who we are. Jesus made it possible for our Heavenly Father to send the Holy Spirit to be our helper, our counsellor, our teacher, our comforter. He lives within our spirit, being the oil that enables us to be the lamp of the Lord, empowering us to live the Christian life.

The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts.Proverbs 20:27

We can persevere because it’s God Himself who grips us fast, vowing with divine certainty to never leave or forsake us.

PRO-LIFE JUSTICE AND RACIAL JUSTICE

In the introduction to his new book, The New Fight for Life: Roe, Race, and a Pro-Life Commitment to Justice, Ben Watson writes,

…let’s jump right in and acknowledge the elephant in the room. What business does a retired football player have speaking into the pro-life discussion?

It’s all right. I get that question a lot, and while I realize many people consider this to be a women’s issue, there are several reasons that I, as a man, have joined the ranks of those speaking into it.

For one thing, there are currently seven children (and holding) in the Watson household, each one of whom has forty-six chromosomes, twenty-three of which they got from my wife, Kirsten, and twenty-three of which they got from me. So from a strictly biological standpoint, men have an equal share in the procreation of every child.

Also—while I am by no means saying this is right— historically speaking, when it comes to politics and the law, men have held the majority of the power. Case in point: there have been 115 Supreme Court justices in US history, and all but seven of them have been white men. Women didn’t even hold a seat on the Supreme Court until Sandra Day O’Connor was confirmed in 1981, and there was not a Black woman represented until 2022, when Ketanji Brown Jackson became the first Black female justice in the Court’s 232-year history. It was seven men who voted Roe v. Wade into law in 1973, and five men and one woman who voted to overturn it in 2022.

I’m not trying to quell the voice of a woman speaking out on her own behalf. It’s vital that women do advocate for themselves. But given that it’s still predominantly men making the decisions, it seems to me that the most effective way to even the playing field is for men with like-minded ideologies to advocate for equality and justice along with and on behalf of women.

In many ways and for many reasons, men have championed abortion on demand in this country. They—we—have led the campaign to legalize this practice, harming women along the way, framing the unnatural as choice and freedom while ultimately seeking to benefit our own interests and protect our own passivity. It was a man, Dr. Alan Guttmacher, who first introduced abortion to Planned Parenthood.

Too often, men have remained silent on topics that matter most, believing the common assertions that abortion is a women’s issue. I have even encountered men who claim abortion is a necessary good to protect against future suffering or to keep other social ills at bay.

But as a man, I take very seriously the words written in Proverbs 31. Most people are familiar with the description of the Proverbs 31 woman, but earlier in the chapter, the author (King Lemuel) describes what his mother taught him. I suppose you could say this is what it means to be a Proverbs 31 man:

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice. PROVERBS 31:8-9

Isaiah 1:17 says, “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s case” (ESV). Over and over in Scripture, God challenges us to protect widows, foreigners, the young, and the vulnerable. In fact, the truth of the gospel, in its totality, challenges each one of us to humbly ask God to show us places where we can make a difference.

To that end, the issue of abortion is very much intertwined with others of equal importance to me, like poverty, racism, and the trafficking of children. The way I see it, these are all matters of justice.

Over the course of my career, Kirsten and I have been introduced to individuals and organizations on the front lines of some of the worst ongoing human rights violations in the world today. Through those partnerships, I’ve seen firsthand how poverty, inequality, fear, and desperation can push people into unthinkable choices.

I traveled to the Lebanon-Syria border in the spring of 2017 with a pastor-friend of mine to witness the impact of the war in Syria. Hundreds of thousands of refugees had fled the violence, leaving behind their homes and possessions. We met with Lebanese pastors who had opened their church doors to families fleeing violence and visited primary schools where children were trying to continue their education in an unfamiliar land. I remember seeing a student’s drawing taped on the wall, depicting him and his family running from tanks and bombs. Sitting on the floor in the primitive conditions of a tent settlement, I spoke to a father about his harrowing experience. His wife sat by his side as their children peered through the sheet that served as a door.

Recalling the dangerous journey to safety across the border, he said through our interpreter, “As a father, I just want my family to be safe. We go to sleep hoping we will wake up back home. But we don’t know if we will ever return.”

My heart and mind drifted thousands of miles away to my own family and how, like him, I would willingly endure extreme hardship to keep them safe. No matter the cause of suffering—war, sexual abuse, food poverty, or discrimination— human suffering should upset us, and even offend us.

So while a lot of people define pro-life as protecting the preborn, I believe being pro-life means caring about life, period, and recognizing that everyone has the right to flourish and be protected, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, or socioeconomic standing.

To echo pro-life activist Cherilyn Holloway, being pro-life means that “we care about the life that is in the womb, but we also care about the man on the street. We also care about these children and where they’re getting their education and health care from and Grandma and Grandpa who are entering end-of-life care and that they’re treated with dignity and respect. . . . These are all whole-life issues for us.”

Simply put, every life bears the image of God, so every life has value. For me, being pro-life means advocating for every life—especially those who cannot advocate for themselves.

REPENT – AN OFFENSIVE WORD TO MOST

Humanity’s primary problem is sin, and without repentance, forgiveness, and faith in Christ, sin will be punished. When is the last time we have taught these things in our churches and to our youths? When is the last time, Christian parent, that you have taught such things to your kids? We no longer teach that people need to repent of their sins. Remember that word? Let me say that again, repent, since it seems offensive to most these days, even though it was the KEY message of Jesus and the apostles.

Anarchy on the streets of Seattle

From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! Matthew 4:17

When is the last time we taught them that we will all stand before the Lord on judgment day to give an account for the things we have done in the body, whether good or bad?.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.2 Corinthians 5:10

Is it any wonder, then, that a generation of young people apparently feels no remorse, no conviction, no guilt for stealing, destroying small businesses, and injuring other human beings? There is no fear of God before their eyes because we made no effort to tell them the truth about God.

This Scripture will tell you how to understand the fear of the Lord and to find knowledge from God then He will be your shield and watch over you.

My son (daughter), if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understand; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints.Proverbs 2:1-5

THOSE WHO SHOULD FEAR JUDGEMENT

Wyoming parents file a criminal complaint against library officials over pornographic children’s books. County prosecutors are investigating and considering filing charges. A special prosecutor was assigned to the case. Statewide LGBT group comes to library’s defense – supporting the books as does the ACLU.

A parent speaks before the Library Board, reading from several of the sexualized children’s books. But the Board refused to do anything.

The books are:

  • This Book is Gay by Juno Dawson
This book promotes an array of homosexual and lesbian sex acts and instructs children how to engage in them.
  • How Do You Make a Baby by Anna Fiske
This bizarre book for 4-10 year-olds includes pornographic drawings of sexual activity.
  • Doing It: Let’s Talk About Sex by Hannah Witton
As the cover (below) describes, this book promotes for children the idea of seeking “sexual pleasure” through sex, homosexuality, and masturbation.
  • Sex is a Funny Word by Corey Silverberg
This book coaches 8-11 year-olds to be comfortable getting naked and being touched. And in particular, to feel okay having their anus touched.
  • Dating and Sex: A Guide for the 21st Century Teen Boy by Andrew P Smiler. This includes a how-to guide to masturbation and enjoying pornography.

State LGBT group comes to the library’s support

The most prominent statewide homosexual and transgender organization, Wyoming Equality, also weighed in. As expected, they support books that encourage children to engage in homosexual behaviors, particularly when the parents disagree. The LGBT movement’s obsession with recruiting children is why they help push these books into schools and libraries across the country.

They are using a well-worn tactic to deflect the issue: The false and absurd claim that parents are “threatening” public officials and library staff over the books.

ACLU had this to say

Stephanie Amiotte, legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of South Dakota, North Dakota and Wyoming, told a left-wing blog that her group “stands firmly” behind the Campbell County Public Library staff.

Regarding pornographic books, she said that children must have “free access to information.” She said that libraries cannot allow “private pressure groups, or politicians, who seek to impose their own political, moral, or religious beliefs by censoring books chosen by professional librarians for library shelves.” The staff of supposed experts, not the parents and taxpayers, must be the judge of what children are given.

Rosie’s Gay Bar

A Florida school board member chaperoned a group of elementary school children on a field trip to Rosie’s, a gay bar, according to photos of the trip she posted to social media.

“I was SO honored to be invited to chaperone Wilton Manors Elementary’s field trip to the incredible Rosie’s! The students and I had a fun walk over and learned a lot about our community! A huge thank you to Rosie’s Bar and Grill for hosting this special field trip every year!, Broward County School Board member Sarah Leonardi posted on her official school board Facebook page Wednesday.

The children were subjected to perverse menu items labeled as:
Motha Cluckers, Pisa Envy, Naked Sweaty Lovin, ‘Beet Your Brains Out, Miley High Club, Bacon Bitty Bang Bang, The Big Dripper Wrap
Notice the very appropriate image behind the children of a horrible monster reaching out to take a hold of their innocent minds.

The judgement that awaits those that cause children to sin is severe. The following Scripture should bring fear upon those that do.

But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.Matthew 18:6

WHOM DO YOU FEAR?

Let us be encouraged by David and his courage in the face of fear. Moreover, Jesus made it possible for our Heavenly Father to send the Holy Spirit to indwell every believer so we can have the same confidence that David did that God will be with us in times of trouble.

”The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.” Psalms 27:1-3

Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the LORD will receive me.” Psalms 27:10

I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! Psalms 27:13-14

Two more inspiring Psalms one from David and the other from the Songs of Korah: they fear no evil because they know God is with them in times of trouble.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Psalms 23:4

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah.” Psalms 46:1-3

THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE SAFEST EMOTION IN THIS HOUR

The only thing worth seeing is the move of God on this earth. God saving souls, making disciples is what counts. Where does this happen? Listen to this message from Mario Murillo about the GLORY OF GOD. Only when people repent and empty themselves of self and live for God will they see the GLORY OF GOD. It happens in the places of supreme darkness where people are at the end of themselves. Watch the video, if your a Christian you will be glad you did. If you are not, I hope the fear of God rises up and repentance follows.

WHOM DO YOU FEAR?

Do not fear” is the most common commandment in the Bible; it appears more than any other commandment. God uses this phrase whenever he asks someone to do something scary or something that they are not used to doing. He says, “do not be afraid, fear not, or don’t be afraid.”

Read these amazing passages:

David and Goliath “And David said, “The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you!” 1 Samuel 17:37

And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” Exodus 14:13-14

But the Lord said to Moses, “Do not fear him, for I have given him into your hand, and all his people, and his land. And you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.” Numbers 21:34

See, the Lord your God has set the land before you. Go up, take possession, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has told you. Do not fear or be dismayed.’Deuteronomy 1:21

And I said to you, ‘I am the Lord your God; you shall not fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell.’ But you have not obeyed my voice.” Judges 6:10

Look what God says to Ruth, “And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you ask, for all my fellow townsmen know that you are a worthy woman.Ruth 10:29-30

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7

It is only God you should fear:

Is not your fear of God your confidence, and the integrity of your ways your hope?Job 4:6

Practical wisdom for living is the central concern of the book of Proverbs. We are told that the beginning and essence of wisdom is the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 1:7; 9:10).

How did the church grow: “So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied. Acts 9:31

Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade others. But what we are is known to God” 2 Corinthians 5:11

And most of the brothers, having become confident in the Lord by my imprisonment, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.Philippians 1:14

Time is short may we be bold to speak the word of the Lord and the Gospel to others without fear.

WHOM SHALL I FEAR?

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalms 27:1

God is our refuge and strength,  a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains are moved into the heart of the seaPsalms 46:1-2

Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments! His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.Psalms 112:1-2

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.Psalm 23:4-5

You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday… because you have made the LORD your dwelling place, the Most High, who is my refuge, no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.Psalms 91:5-6,9-10

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? Psalms 56:3-4

The Word of God is enough, you do not need words from Ron Edwards.
