GOD IS USING THE MOST UNLIKELY PEOPLE FOR HIS PURPOSES: This young man from Kenya (just turned 18) has impacted America’s Got Talent in an amazing way by singing Gospel music.
Johge – you are an absolute child of God – blessed with a voice that stands out in Speech & Song for His Glory!!! May His many blessings continue to flow to you and through you to those of us who have ears to hear!
Watch Ray Comfort present the GOSPEL to this young woman and a young man. Note the logic of the progression of his presentation and their reactions. Just by their openness and goodness the Holy Spirit was already working in their lives. Fortunately, the young woman had a praying grandma, which influenced the extent of the change in her from believing in reincarnation to coming back to reconsidering Jesus as her Lord and Saviour.
God has revealed to Ray Comfort the great opportunity that the Coronation of King Charles on Saturday 6th May 2023 offers Christians to evangelize unbelievers. The Coronation service is a traditional Christian service that honours God and the Bible. When Ray shared the vision he had been given with others sufficient money was donated to produce millions of brochures which Ray is offering free of charge to anyone who wants to be involved in what God is doing to bring the Gospel to the lost. Please get involved, you can by going to Ray’s website go http://www.livingwaters.com.
Watch Ray Comfort of Living Waters minister the Gospel to this young man. He had no concept of what God had done to secure His salvation and thereby eternal life. Watch the change as the truth slowly dawns on Him. This is evidence of how the Holy Spirit works in our lives to transform us. Only God could bring about the change we see in this young man.
Groundwire is really good at reaching those people that would not say they are atheists but do not believe God is relevant to our lives today. They are seeing tens of thousands of young people turn to Christ each year, and the positive pattern is showing no signs of slowing down. “We’re not going after the atheists,” Sean Dunn, president of Groundwire, told Faithwire. “The media would want us to believe that everybody’s an atheist, but, truthfully, 71% of Millennials [and] Gen Z believe that God’s a real being.” Still, young people, despite believing in God, tend to ignore Him, especially in today’s chaotic culture. That’s why Groundwire, a group that seeks to help youths enter into a personal relationship with Christ, uses popular media channels to connect with Millennials and members of Gen Z in the digital spaces through which they currently engage. Find out how Groundwire is reaching so many young people with Christ.
Jonathan Aiger reminded me of this hymn in his article on hymns of hope and comfort. I think he is right there is one Christmas hymn that stands head and shoulders above the others purely because of its scope. From the beginning of creation to the incarnation but then to a time of eternal victory. “Of the Father’s Love Begotten” was given to us by 4th-century Roman poet Aurelius Prudentius Clemens, by way of 19th-century translators J.M. Neale and H.W. Baker. The original stanzas are massive in their theological scope and warrant some study and meditation.
Of the Father’s love begotten, ere the worlds began to be, He is Alpha and Omega, He the source, the ending He,
Of the things that are, that have been, And that future years shall see, evermore and evermore!
At His Word the worlds were framèd; He commanded; it was done: Heaven and earth and depths of ocean in their threefold order one; All that grows beneath the shining Of the moon and burning sun, evermore and evermore!
He is found in human fashion, death and sorrow here to know, That the race of Adam’s children doomed by law to endless woe, May not henceforth die and perish In the dreadful gulf below, evermore and evermore!
O that birth forever blessèd, when the virgin, full of grace, By the Holy Ghost conceiving, bare the Savior of our race; And the Babe, the world’s Redeemer, First revealed His sacred face, evermore and evermore!
This is He whom seers in old time chanted of with one accord; Whom the voices of the prophets promised in their faithful word; Now He shines, the long expected, Let creation praise its Lord, evermore and evermore!
O ye heights of heaven adore Him; angel hosts, His praises sing;
Powers, dominions, bow before Him, and extol our God and King! Let no tongue on earth be silent, Every voice in concert sing, evermore and evermore!
Righteous judge of souls departed, righteous King of them that live, On the Father’s throne exalted none in might with Thee may strive; Who at last in vengeance coming Sinners from Thy face shalt drive, evermore and evermore!
Thee let old men, thee let young men, thee let boys in chorus sing; Matrons, virgins, little maidens, with glad voices answering: Let their guileless songs re-echo, And the heart its music bring, evermore and evermore!
Christ, to Thee with God the Father, and, O Holy Ghost, to Thee, Hymn and chant with high thanksgiving and unwearied praises be: Honor, glory, and dominion, And eternal victory, evermore and evermore!
