That’s why human rights are “inalienable”. They come from God — not human governments. But remove Christianity from society, and the basis for all other human rights is destroyed (see “10 Reasons Our Human Rights Come from Jesus“.)

Christian liberty recognises the right of each individual to “seek God… and find him” (Acts 17:27). Discovering God through his word is life’s most important privilege – an endeavour granted to us by God.

The Bible explicitly links freedom of religion with the gospel. In 2 Timothy 2:1–4, Paul urges prayer for “all those who are in authority”. Why? So that these authorities don’t hinder Christians from living a godly life and sharing the gospel with others. As Paul writes, this “pleases God our Saviour, who wants everyone to be saved”. Religious freedom has eternal consequences.

AHPRA declined to answer questions from The Australian about why conditions were imposed. Separately, the regulator issued a statement saying it “respect[s] practitioners’ freedom of expression… provided it does not involve abuse, discrimination, or pose a risk to public safety.”

“At the same time as a court criticises evidence given in support of child gender treatments, AHPRA moves against a psychiatrist who questions the evidence base,” Shelton said. “Australians are entitled to ask why.”

Queensland psychiatrist Dr Jillian Spencer, suspended from Queensland Health since 2024 after questioning child “gender medicine” at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, told The Australian she feared becoming AHPRA’s next target.

“I’m very anxious that I’ll be next,” Spencer said. “I’ve managed to keep my registration so far, but I don’t know how long I’ve got left.”

‘No Capacity to Debate’

Spencer described a profession-wide silencing that predates any formal regulatory action. Journal articles critical of child gender treatments are blocked by activist reviewers, she explained. Dissenters are refused speaking platforms at conferences, while internal professional debate has, in her account, ceased.

“Within our profession, there has been absolute suppression of any capacity to debate the issue in medical professional forums,” Spencer said. “And people say to us, this is a really sensitive and important debate, it shouldn’t happen on social media or in the media. But what they’re ignoring is that we have no capacity to have the discussion within our profession.”

Spencer has written an open letter she hopes colleagues will sign, but expressed concern that AHPRA’s action will prompt others to stay silent. “I’m a bit scared that all my colleagues will run for cover,” she said.

Daniel had seen this ruler long ago:

“He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week.” (Daniel 9:27)

Behind his charm lay something ancient and terrifying.
The dragon gave him power, a throne, and great authority. (Revelation 13:2)
For a season, he ruled all nations. The world marveled and followed the Beast.

4. The Mark of Control

Commerce became uniform — digital, efficient, and chained.
Everyone, small and great, rich and poor, was marked — on the right hand or the forehead.

“That no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark.” (Revelation 13:17)

Refusal meant exile, hunger, or death. Cities glittered with technology, yet darkness reigned. Surveillance eyes never slept; worship of the Beast became law. The faithful fled or hid, sustained by miracles and prayer. In wilderness caves and desolate ruins, their voices rose: “Come, Lord Jesus.”

5. The Great Tribulation

Then judgments fell — in escalating waves.

The seals were broken: conquest, war, famine, plague. At the sixth seal and the end of the sixth year, cosmic signs precede, the rapture of the Saints and God pouring out His wrath with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements. It is the sixth church (Philadelphia) that is raptured: “Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world,” Rev. 3:10. The church of Laodicea is left to face the wrath of God The seas turned to blood, the skies darkened, earthquakes split the nations. The bowls of wrath poured: sores, fire, and death upon those who bore the mark.

Israel became the trembling focus of the world. From the north, east, and south, armies advanced toward Jerusalem. The Antichrist’s empire encircled the Holy Land.

Zechariah’s prophecy came alive:

“I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people.” (Zechariah 12:3)

The city fell into siege. Hope withered. The remnant cried out to God — broken, desperate, repentant.

6. The Heavens Open

Then it happened. “Immediately after the wrath of God… the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven.” (Matthew 24:29–30)

The skies split apart like a scroll. Lightning flashed from east to west, thunder shaking every mountain.
From the glory of heaven rode the King — Jesus Christ, on a white horse, robed in light, crowned with many crowns.

Behind Him, the armies of heaven — clothed in white — followed. His name: The Word of God.
He came not as the suffering Lamb, but as the Lion of Judah.

At His breath, darkness shattered.
The Antichrist and his armies gathered in the great plain of Megiddo — the valley known as Armageddon.
Yet the battle was no contest:

“He struck the nations… and the Beast was captured and cast alive into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 19:20)

The Word of His mouth destroyed the hosts of evil. The skies fell silent.

7. The Deliverance of Israel

The remnant of Israel looked upon Him whom they had pierced — and wept.

“They will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only son.” (Zechariah 12:10)

The Spirit of grace was poured out. He gathered His scattered people, cleansed them, and renewed His covenant of peace. Their Messiah had come, not as a stranger, but as Saviour and King.

8. The Reign of the King and the Glorified Saints

Satan was bound.
Nations laid down their weapons.
From Jerusalem, Jesus reigned in righteousness for a thousand years – Jesus Millennial Kingdom (http://www.millennialkingdom.net)

“The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11:9)

The deserts bloomed. Lions lay with lambs on His holy mountain. Justice and peace kissed the earth once again.
Those who had suffered for His name beheld His face — their tears wiped away forever.

Satan is released and is still able to raise an enormous army to come against Jesus and the Saints. It is swiftly dealt with and this earth the

9. Judgment Before the Great White Throne

“Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened… And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.” Revelation 20:11-12

10. The Eternal Kingdom

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away… And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Revelation 21:1-2

“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them.” Revelation 21:3

The curse was no more. The Lamb’s light filled all creation.
And so the story that began in a garden ended in a city — the magnificent New Jerusalem, radiant as a bride.

Epilogue

Across eternity echoed the words of victory:

“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ,
and He shall reign forever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15)

THE PRE-EMINENCE OF JESUS CHRIST

This one Scripture in Colossians describes the pre-eminence of Jesus Christ in history. Moreover, the Bible clearly, with many prophecies, tells us that Jesus is about to return to Earth first to rescue His Saints before God pours out His wrath upon an unrepentant world. with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements. Jesus will then return to Earth with the glorified Saints to rescue Israel and begin His Millennial reign.
“He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister.” Colossians 1:15-23

God has unfinished business with Israel, the nation He set up to fulfil His purposes. God’s adversary, Satan, knows this and is intent on its destruction. He is the one who is inspiring the leaders of the nations to come against Israel. What is amazing, proving that God is in control of world events, is that all that is unfolding in the world is prophesied in God’s Word. This little nation in terms of land size is the centre of world events.

‘I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him who curses you; and in you ALL the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ (Genesis 12:2-3)

The disruption that robotics will cause to employment in 2026 will just increase the lawlessness we are already seeing in developed countries where for the most part, people, particularly the younger generation have accepted evolution and the Big Bang theory as the origin of life and the Cosmos. For them, God and His commandments are part of myths and legends. Their lives have no meaning or purpose. REVELATION: THE GREAT CONSUMMATION OF ALL THINGS

The Great Consummation of All Things

1. Prelude — The Seven Churches and the Seven Years

In the book of Revelation 2–3, Jesus addresses seven churches, which many believe represent successive stages of the Church Age. Yet, they also prophetically mirror events in the final seven‑year cycle before Jesus returns.

At the same time, in heaven, Jesus begins to open the seven seals — releasing events on earth that correspond with each year leading up to His visible return.

2. The First Four Years — The Four Horsemen

Seal 1–4 (Revelation 6:1‑8)
As each seal opens, a rider goes forth:

  1. White Horse – the coming world leader promising peace (the Antichrist).
    (Year 1)
  2. Red Horse – war and bloodshed engulf the earth.
    (Year 2)
  3. Black Horse – famine and economic collapse.
    (Year 3)
  4. Pale Horse – death and pestilence follow.
    (Year 4)

During these years, persecution increases and the Church’s faith is tested severely. Many are martyred, and the lines between true and false disciples become clear.

3. The Fifth Seal — The Cry of the Martyrs

“I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain...” Revelation 6:9

Here John sees the souls, not yet resurrected bodies. They have overcome, but the resurrection has not yet occurred.
Their cry — “How long, O Lord?” — sets the stage for divine intervention.
This coincides with the fifth‑year of tribulation and the deep persecution of believers who refuse the mark of the Beast.

4. The Sixth Seal — The Threshold of God’s Wrath and the Rapture

“The great day of their wrath has come.” Revelation 6:12‑17

Cosmic disturbances shake heaven and earth — the sun darkened, the moon turned to blood, the stars falling.
Then comes the great gathering:

“After this I saw a great multitude that no one could number… standing before the throne… clothed in white robes.” Revelation 7:9

The Philadelphia Promise Fulfilled

This multitude represents the raptured saints—the resurrected dead in Christ and living believers taken up together (1 Thessalonians 4:16‑17).
They hold palm branches, the symbol of the Feast of Tabernacles — a prophetic sign of the saints now dwelling with God. The faithful Church is kept from the “hour of trial.”
Jesus calls, and in a moment, “in the twinkling of an eye,” the dead are raised incorruptible, and the living transformed.
He gathers His Bride — the glorified saints — before the trumpet judgments unleash the wrath of God.

5. The Seventh Seal — Trumpets of Wrath

When the seventh seal is opened, there is silence in heaven for half an hour (Revelation 8:1), and then seven trumpets sound.
This marks the beginning of God’s Wrath, distinct from the tribulation of the saints.

For one year and ten days — echoing the duration of Noah’s flood — the Trumpet and Bowl judgments fall upon the unrepentant earth:

  1. Hail and fire devastate vegetation.
  2. A burning mountain turns seas to blood.
  3. Waters become bitter.
  4. Heavens darken, light fades.
  5. Demonic torment released.
  6. Armies of the East advance.
  7. The Kingdom of the world becomes the Kingdom of our Lord (Revelation 11:15).

The Laodicean church, having rejected truth, faces this wrath. Mercy’s door closes for those who refused grace but they still have the opportunity to repent and I am sure many will.

6. The Year of Wrath and the Jubilee Restoration

Just as in Noah’s day, wrath lasts one year and ten days, culminating with the Day of Atonement — symbolic of the Messiah’s return to Israel.
When Jesus descends, it inaugurates the Jubilee Year, the fiftieth — the year of release and restoration.
The land rests, captives are freed, and every inheritance returns to its rightful owner.

“To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” Isaiah 61:2; Luke 4:19

Thus, after the year of wrath, the earth enters its Sabbath rest — the Millennial Reign of Christ.

7. The King Returns and the Age of Jubilee Begins

Heaven opens once more:

“Behold, a white horse, and He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True.” Revelation 19:11

Jesus descends with His glorified saints — the resurrected and raptured Church — to defeat the Antichrist at the Battle of Armageddon.

Satan is bound.
The earth is renewed.
Israel is redeemed and restored.
The nations come to Jerusalem year by year to worship the King. (Zechariah 14:16)

And the first year of His glorious reign begins as the Jubilee Year — proclaiming “liberty throughout all the land.” (Leviticus 25:10)

10. Jesus Millennial Kingdom

Jesus Millennial Kingdom is a transition period so that God’s covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Davidic covenant and the New Covenant can be fulfilled. God has unfinished business with Israel.

“This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:5-6

N.T. AFFIRMS AND EXPANDS ON O.T. PROPHECIES OF JESUS MILLENNIAL KINGDOM

The New Testament consistently affirms and expands the Old Testament prophecies concerning Israel’s restoration, the Messiah’s literal reign on earth, and the participation of the glorified saints in that reign. These passages illuminate the “mystery” Paul refers to — Israel’s temporary blindness followed by national salvation when Christ returns (Romans 11). If you have not already read my earlier post “O.T. Prophecies of Israel’s Messiah ruling the Nations” then I suggest you do as this is the sequel.

Let’s look carefully at the key sections.

1. Jesus’ Teachings

“You who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” Matthew 19:28

➡️ Promise of Israel’s restoration and the Apostles’ role in governing it.

“You shall not see Me again till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Matthew 23:37–39

➡️ Jesus declares Israel’s national repentance will accompany His return.

Matthew 24–25 (Olivet Discourse)

  • Jesus gives the disciples many of the end times signs that precede His second coming.
  • Describes the Tribulation and Great Tribulation that precedes the rapture of the Saints and the wrath of God poured out with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements and then His return in glory with the glorified Saints.
  • When He comes, He will separate the nations (25:31–34) and rule as King from His throne of glory.

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory… then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him.”Matthew 25:31-31

“The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever.” Luke 1:32–33 (Gabriel’s announcement to Mary)

➡️ Explicit connection to the Davidic Covenant and Israel’s national kingdom.

“Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled… then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Luke 21:24–28

➡️ Prophecy of Israel’s long dispersion and ultimate deliverance.

“I confer on you a kingdom, just as My Father conferred one on Me… you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

“Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? It is not for you to know the times… but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” Acts 1:6–8

➡️ Jesus does not correct their expectation of a restored kingdom to Israel — He only delays it until the Father’s appointed time.

2. The Apostolic Preaching (Acts)

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ… whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets.” Acts 3:19–21

➡️ The “restoration of all things” = exactly the Old Testament vision of a renewed earth under Messiah’s rule.

James quotes Amos 9:11–12:

“After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David… so that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord.” Acts 15:14–18

➡️ God will restore Davidic rule through Jesus, bringing Gentiles to share in Israel’s blessings.

3. Paul’s Writings

Romans 11:11–29

  • Israel’s rejection is temporary.
  • Gentiles are grafted in during Israel’s blindness.
  • Israel will be saved when the Deliverer comes.

“And so, all Israel will be saved, as it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.‘” Romans 11:26

Romans 8:18–23

“The creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of corruption…” Romans 8:21

➡️ The entire creation awaits the revelation of the glorified saints — this corresponds to the renewed creation in the Millennium.

“Do you not know that the saints will judge the world?” 1 Corinthians 6:2

➡️ Believers’ participation in Christ’s government over the nations.

“If we endure, we shall also reign with Him.” 2 Timothy 2:12

➡️ Shared authority with Christ in His Millennial Kingdom.

4. The Book of Revelation (The fullest vision)

“You have redeemed us… and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:9–10

➡️ Saints (Jew and Gentile) reigning on the earth with Christ.

“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever.” Revelation 11:15

➡️ Transition from human rule to the Messiah’s Kingdom.

 “Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war… And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses… On his robe and on his thigh, he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.” Revelation 19:11–16

Christ returns to judge and wage war in righteousness, wearing many crowns.
➡️ His return inaugurates the Millennial Kingdom.

“They lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” The Millennial reign of Christ with His glorified saints.” Revelation 20:1–6

Revelation 21–22

  • Transition from the Millennium into the eternal state — New Heaven and New Earth.
  • Yet, even here, Jerusalem remains central as the dwelling of God with His people.

What does this mean in terms of Biblical history. It is interesting to see this comment in the Book of Daniel where we find many end times prophecies.

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Daniel 12:4

For Daniel this revelation must have seemed strange as there was no internet, or AI, or cars and planes back in Daniel’s day. But for us it makes good sense. Many people view the Bible as an ancient religious text, a historical document, or a collection of moral teachings. But Scripture is far more than that. The Bible is God’s living communication — His ongoing conversation with His people. When we open its pages, we are not merely reading words; we are encountering the voice, heart, and wisdom of the living God.

In 2 Timothy 3:16, Paul writes that “All Scripture is God‑breathed.” This means the Bible did not originate from human imagination or cultural tradition. It came from the very breath of God — the same breath that spoke creation into existence, the same breath that gives life to every believer.

To say Scripture is “God‑breathed” is to say it carries His authority, His truth, and His life. It is not outdated. It is not silent. It is not powerless. Every verse carries the imprint of the One who inspired it, making the Bible eternally relevant and spiritually alive.

How the Holy Spirit Uses Scripture to Transform Hearts

The Spirit of God works through the Word of God to shape the people of God. When we read Scripture with open hearts, the Holy Spirit illuminates truth, convicts us of sin, strengthens our faith, and reveals the character of Christ.

  • A single verse can bring comfort in grief.
  • A familiar passage can suddenly speak with new clarity.
  • A story we’ve read many times can reveal a fresh layer of God’s wisdom.

This is not coincidence — it is the Spirit actively working through the living Word. The Bible is not static ink on paper; it is a divine instrument the Spirit uses to renew minds, heal wounds, and guide our steps.

Why Daily Engagement With God’s Word Matters

If Scripture is truly God’s living communication, then spending time in it is not a religious duty — it is a lifeline. Daily engagement with the Word keeps our hearts aligned with God’s heart. It anchors us in truth when the world feels chaotic. It nourishes our spirit the way food nourishes the body.

Even a few minutes a day can open the door for God to speak, correct, encourage, and strengthen you. The more we immerse ourselves in Scripture, the more clearly we recognize God’s voice in every part of life.
