The Consequences of Disobedience to God – a great article by William Newton Wordsworth
Jesus warns us in this parable, “that those who hear His sayings and do not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sandand when the storms came, it fell, and “great was its fall.” Matthew 7:26,27
Since becoming a Christian in 1995, God has shown me the cost of disobedience to Him through personal experience and scripture.
It truly is as Moses warned the Israelites before they entered the Promised Land – that if they obeyed God’s commands, He would bless them and they would flourish. However, if they disobeyed Him, they would be cursed, and suffering would come upon them (Deuteronomy 28).
This principle is repeated throughout the Old Testament and remains true today. God has great mercy and compassion, but persistent disobedience brings serious consequences. God showed me that this still applies today to the nations as it does to people in an extremely powerful way:
In 2010, while praying with my wife, Kelly, and our son, Vincent, God said to me, “Tomorrow I am going to make a major statement.” By a vision I was shown that this statement would be physical in nature. Then God said, “For Me it will be nothing, but for man it will be big.”
The following day, Vincent was monitoring the news for “God’s major statement” that we all knew was coming. Then the news broke that a devastating earthquake struck Haiti, in one of the worst so called natural disasters in modern history. Over 300,000 people died, and up to a million were left homeless.
Our Father then led Kelly and me to discover why He brought this calamity upon the Haitian people. That they persist in disobedience to Him through voodoo and occult spiritual practices, which are against His Commandment to have no other gods before Him (Exodus 20:3) and are an abomination to Him (Deuteronomy 18:9–14).
Fear of the Lord Helps Us to Obey God
It is important for us to remember that God our Creator has not changed to accommodate the modern beliefs of people. His Commandments remain the same, and He still requires individuals and nations to obey Him. It is we who must change, not God.
The “fear of the Lord” is not terror, but a deep awe and reverence for God. It comes from recognising who He is – the Creator of the world, the universe, all of the living, including humanity. It also comes from realising what He will do if we persist in wickedness.
Jesus warned us to “fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28).
This reverent fear of God’s power helps us to obey Him. Obedience to Him leads us to receive the abundant life that Jesus came to bring us and avoid the calamities that follow disobedience.
Since the 2010 earthquake, the people of Haiti have continued the widespread practice of Voodoo as their national religion, and they have experienced ongoing suffering — further earthquakes, cholera outbreaks, poverty, political instability and gang warfare. This ongoing tragedy can serve as a stark reminder to us that whether we have fear of the Lord and obey Him, has serious consequences for our life, our nation and the world.
Now is the Time to Get Right with the Lord
God guided me in prayer that the approaching storm Jesus warned me about began in earnest with the Covid Pandemic. I believe we are now living in what Jesus referred to as “end times”. The signs of the “beginning of sorrows” that He spoke of to His disciples (Matthew 24:4–8) are increasingly evident.
We are now living in a spiritual war in which revelations of widespread evil are occurring. This troubles many people. However, Jesus warns us that it is God whom we must fear, not man.
For Christians, this is the time to look deeply at ourselves. Those who have grown complacent toward God, “who say in their heart that the Lord will not do good and nor will He do evil” (Zephaniah 1:12-13), have a window of opportunity to repent and turn wholeheartedly to Him before the long-prophesied return of Jesus to judge all.
Now is the time to stand with Jesus on the Rock of Ages, to be passionately seeking to be right with God, to do His will, to resist evil in our own lives and the world — that He will know us on His return.
I was guided by God in a prayer during the pandemic to write the book Warnings from the Living God. It is written to help people understand the storm we are now in and to be spiritually prepared for what is to come. The promise of Jesus that He made two thousand years ago remains today: those who will stand with Him and “endure to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13).

Our national broadcasters are in cahoots with political elites who insist on promoting a false narrative about transgender ideology. They are all flailing, trying to silence and censor those of us who refuse to bow the knee to their lies. This isn’t a grey area or a matter of opinion.
No human can change sex. No human ever has. No human ever will.
It is immensely cruel to lie to a child and come to an agreement with the deception that they were born in the wrong body. Their body has their sex written on every cell, on their skeletal frame, in their reproductive system, their hormonal system and many other parts of their body.
The Lie That Harms Children
Children can and do suffer gender distress, but reinforcing a lie or delusion is not kind; it is terribly cruel. Imagine affirming anorexia or depression; it is unheard of.
Beginning with a lie always results in a messy ending. These children suffer in their bodies when chemical castration drugs and cross-sex hormones are issued without their ability to consent or understand the ramifications.
Families have been torn apart because good parents say no, but the government steps in and rips the child from the only unit that exists to truly care for and protect them. It ought to anger us no end.
Every Australian needs to understand the precedent this sets for all areas of social and public policy. If the government, supported by the judiciary and media, can promote and legislate such basic fundamental lies that fly in the face of evidence-based science and reality, what else do you think they will do?
SBS’s One-Sided Narrative
SBS is a major news outlet promoting the false trans narrative to the detriment of young people and Australian families.
They neglect to report on the terrible side effects, such as incontinence, infertility, brain and bone development issues and a myriad of other serious health impacts.
I don’t want to give them too much oxygen since the entire trans narrative is built on the lie that a child was born in the wrong body and must undergo very harmful treatments to pretend to be the opposite sex. What I do want to do is give parents who have endured complete devastation a voice to tell you exactly how harmful and devastating the promotion of this lie is.
Recently, SBS filmed a program about gender access to care and published an article. It is completely biased, and despite speaking with parents, they decided to exclude them from the story. Two of those parents are featured in Kirralie Smith’s bookDevastated: How gender ideology is tearing Australian families apart.
Judith Hunter and Tess Hackett took to social media to describe their interactions with SBS. They are printed in full below. I will let them speak for themselves.
“Months ago Judith Hunter and I were approached by an SBS journalist who wanted to talk to parents who’d been to a gender clinic with their child.
We spent a great deal of time connecting him with people who are involved with what’s happening in Australia re gender including my good friend Kevin, who transitioned many years ago as an adult and is now very critical.
After months of discussion, trying to educate him etc., he eventually asked if I’d be willing to go on the show. I said yes, until he said he needed to speak to my daughter (estranged and mentally unwell now) to confirm my story despite having a stack of evidence from the gender clinic to confirm every part of my story. I told him absolutely not.
He also didn’t want Jude Hunter.
Come filming day, Jude was not even allowed to be in the audience; the journalist stated she was too recognisable, but her lovely (now) adult son was.
The feedback from Kevin and Jude’s son was that it was a complete waste of time and biased towards pro transitioning. Kevin and psychologist (Vanessa?) who is also gender-critical were given barely any time to speak, and the host was hostile.”
Last year I was contacted by an SBS Insight producer, who was keen to include me on the upcoming episode they were planning on doing on “Trans”. He’d read about my work with Genspect & supporting other parents who didn’t agree with medicalising identity. We had a long conversation & I also put him in touch with my friend Tess Hackett , who runs a support group for parents who question medicalising their child’s “gender identity “. Tess also spoke to the producer at length. We put him in touch with other parents & whistleblower doctors who have spoken out about the harms of “gender medicine”. In the end he did an about face & didn’t want us on the show. I wasn’t even allowed to be seen in the audience. As a consolation he agreed for Rory to be in the audience. Rory came out of the recording & said “It was so one sided”. There were 7 people in the audience (speakers) who were on the trans positive side & only 2 on the side of caution & questioning.
The ads have been one sided, and now this piece of garbage writeup about the show.
The article mentions that under 18s can’t get access to hormones in Australia without parental consent which is also absolute garbage as outlined in recent gender clinic review of QLD gender clinic where children as young as 12 were placed on puberty blockers without parental consent.
SBS are a complete waste of time (like ABC). There’s no balance here. Just a propaganda piece.”

The primary Old Testament prophecy about the new covenant is in Jeremiah 31:31-34 (NKJV):
“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. A parallel prophecy appears in Ezekiel 36:26-27 (NKJV), describing the heart transformation:
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.”
These focus on a future covenant with Israel and Judah, emphasizing internal renewal, forgiveness, and God’s Spirit—contrasting the Mosaic covenant.

2 Corinthians 3:6 (NKJV): “Who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.“
These NT passages present Jesus’ blood as inaugurating the new covenant, fulfilling Jeremiah’s promise through atonement, the indwelling Spirit (e.g., Acts 2 at Pentecost), and direct knowledge of God.
This covenant’s ultimate restoration with ethnic Israel is anticipated in Romans 11:26-27 (“All Israel will be saved”), tying back to Isaiah 59:20-21. Exploring Zechariah 12-14 reveals how this unfolds amid end-times restoration.
Jesus Millennial reign on earth does not rest on an isolated passage of the Apocalypse, but all Old Testament prophecy goes on the same view (compare Isa 4:3; 11:9; 35:8).

5.1 Critical capability levels and cybersecurity
Under the Frontier Safety Framework, Gemini 3 Pro is evaluated on whether it crosses critical capability levels where a model can materially uplift real world harm. In CBRN categories, it can provide accurate, high level scientific and technical information, but it does not supply the step by step, novel detail that would dramatically increase a malicious actor’s ability to build or deploy weapons. The same Gemini 3 Pro safety report finds that it can generate more frequent persuasive cues than earlier Gemini models, but its measured manipulative efficacy does not significantly exceed previous generations.
In practice, that means:
The model is very good at fluent, engaging argumentation, which is expected for a frontier language model
Safety filters and training reduce the likelihood of targeted manipulation in sensitive domains, for example elections or self harm
From a governance perspective, it is treated as persuasive but not uniquely or superhumanly persuasive compared to other top tier models
Overall, Gemini 3.0 moves capability forward in areas like cybersecurity reasoning and long context analysis, while formal safety evaluations and policy constraints are used to keep it below thresholds associated with highly autonomous harm. For organizations integrating it, this combination of strong capability with explicit risk characterization is central to deciding where to rely on the model directly and where to keep tighter human oversight.
It is interesting to think about AGI and Robotics in terms of what God has next for planet Earth when Jesus returns to restore righteousness. Human rights exist only because God exists and has made humanity in his image. We’re special, having infinite dignity, value and worth.
That’s why human rights are “inalienable”. They come from God — not human governments. But remove Christianity from society, and the basis for all other human rights is destroyed (see “10 Reasons Our Human Rights Come from Jesus“.)
Christian liberty recognises the right of each individual to “seek God… and find him” (Acts 17:27). Discovering God through his word is life’s most important privilege – an endeavour granted to us by God.
The Bible explicitly links freedom of religion with the gospel. In 2 Timothy 2:1–4, Paul urges prayer for “all those who are in authority”. Why? So that these authorities don’t hinder Christians from living a godly life and sharing the gospel with others. As Paul writes, this “pleases God our Saviour, who wants everyone to be saved”. Religious freedom has eternal consequences.
Also, God judges nations so the more Australia rejects God and His commandments the more likely God will escalate judgement on the nation. One only has to look at how God used drought, famine, plagues, death and destruction to discipline the nation He created for His purposes to realise that God will use those things to judge Australia.
We are fast approaching the time of Jesus Christ return to Earth to restore righteousness and rule and reign with the glorified Saints. This is necessary to fulfil the covenants God made with Abraham. Isaac and Jacob when He set up His nation , Israel to fulfil His purposes. This little nation is the centre of world events with most of the nations surrounding it intent on its destruction just as the Bible says it will be prior to Jesus return to restore righteousness.
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”Zechariah 12:2-3

Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) silences psychiatrist Dr Andrew Amos for challenging child ‘Gender Medicine’. Dr Andrew Amos has been banned from publicly discussing gender issues on social media and barred from direct clinical contact, following multiple complaints from trans activists.
Australia’s health regulator has banned a prominent psychiatrist from publicly questioning child gender treatments, AHPRA and the Medical Board of Australia ordered Dr Amos to stop making online statements about gender issues and is barred from direct clinical contact with patients. The conditions were imposed in response to four complaints lodged by trans activists, according to reports by The Australian.
He is also restricted from practising unless he is at an “approved location,” and has been barred from any role involving “direct or indirect” clinical patient contact. AHPRA invoked its “immediate action” power, which it can use when it “forms a reasonable belief there may be a serious risk to people.” Under the provision, the board does not need to establish all facts, and a full investigation may take up to two years.
AHPRA declined to answer questions from The Australian about why conditions were imposed. Separately, the regulator issued a statement saying it “respect[s] practitioners’ freedom of expression… provided it does not involve abuse, discrimination, or pose a risk to public safety.”
A Chilling Effect on Medical Debate
Dr Amos has published peer-reviewed work questioning whether the child “gender medicine” model meets core psychiatric standards.
His concerns align with the findings of the 2024 UK Cass Review, which found the evidence base for puberty-suppressing drugs and cross-sex hormones in minors to be weak, and subsequently prompted major policy shifts across parts of Europe.
Lyle Shelton, leader of Family First Party pointed to a sharp contrast in how AHPRA has treated competing expert voices.
In the recent Family Court case Re Devin (2025), Justice Andrew Strum found that expert evidence provided by prominent gender clinic doctor Michelle Telfer was “misleading” rather than objective. Complaints in that matter reportedly resulted in no meaningful regulatory action.
“At the same time as a court criticises evidence given in support of child gender treatments, AHPRA moves against a psychiatrist who questions the evidence base,” Shelton said. “Australians are entitled to ask why.”
Queensland psychiatrist Dr Jillian Spencer, suspended from Queensland Health since 2024 after questioning child “gender medicine” at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, told The Australian she feared becoming AHPRA’s next target.
“I’m very anxious that I’ll be next,” Spencer said. “I’ve managed to keep my registration so far, but I don’t know how long I’ve got left.”
‘No Capacity to Debate’
Spencer described a profession-wide silencing that predates any formal regulatory action. Journal articles critical of child gender treatments are blocked by activist reviewers, she explained. Dissenters are refused speaking platforms at conferences, while internal professional debate has, in her account, ceased.
“Within our profession, there has been absolute suppression of any capacity to debate the issue in medical professional forums,” Spencer said. “And people say to us, this is a really sensitive and important debate, it shouldn’t happen on social media or in the media. But what they’re ignoring is that we have no capacity to have the discussion within our profession.”
Spencer has written an open letter she hopes colleagues will sign, but expressed concern that AHPRA’s action will prompt others to stay silent. “I’m a bit scared that all my colleagues will run for cover,” she said.
Queensland’s own LNP Government has suspended the initiation of puberty-suppressing drugs and cross-sex hormones for minors — the same concerns for which Dr Amos now faces professional restrictions.
Family First is calling for the immediate lifting of conditions on Dr Amos, a transparent review of regulatory decisions in light of the Re Devin findings, and a national pause on experimental child gender treatments pending a full independent inquiry.
This nation has effectively banished God from its existence and will suffer the consequences particularly on Jesus imminent return.

The modern world scarcely noticed when prophecy stirred back to life. In 1948, against all odds, Israel was reborn. From centuries of desolation, exiled people returned to their covenant land — just as the prophet Ezekiel had seen in a vision:
“I will take the children of Israel from among the nations… and bring them into their own land.” (Ezekiel 37:21)
The valley of dry bones rattled and rose. Hebrew again filled the streets of Jerusalem. And in the unseen realm, ancient forces stirred — for Satan knew his time had shortened.
2. The Age of Deception
Decades passed. The nations grew rich, but restless. The church swelled with numbers, yet truth grew thin. Paul’s warning echoed through the centuries:
“That day will not come unless the falling away comes first.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
Love grew cold. The Word of God, once revered, was traded for convenience and compromise. False teachers promised comfort without repentance, prosperity without holiness. Apostasy spread like a shadow across the lands. The coming church of Laodicea: “So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:16
3. The Rise of the World Leader
War, famine, and economic collapse shook every continent. Then he appeared — a man of astonishing charisma, speaking peace into chaos. He brokers a seven‑year treaty in the Middle East, hailed as a saviour. The world called him “the bringer of unity.”
Daniel had seen this ruler long ago:
“He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week.” (Daniel 9:27)
Behind his charm lay something ancient and terrifying. The dragon gave him power, a throne, and great authority. (Revelation 13:2) For a season, he ruled all nations. The world marveled and followed the Beast.
4. The Mark of Control
Commerce became uniform — digital, efficient, and chained. Everyone, small and great, rich and poor, was marked — on the right hand or the forehead.
“That no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark.”(Revelation 13:17)
Refusal meant exile, hunger, or death. Cities glittered with technology, yet darkness reigned. Surveillance eyes never slept; worship of the Beast became law. The faithful fled or hid, sustained by miracles and prayer. In wilderness caves and desolate ruins, their voices rose: “Come, Lord Jesus.”
5. The Great Tribulation
Then judgments fell — in escalating waves.
The seals were broken: conquest, war, famine, plague. At the sixth seal and the end of the sixth year, cosmic signs precede, the rapture of the Saints and God pouring out His wrath with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements. It is the sixth church (Philadelphia) that is raptured: “Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world,” Rev. 3:10. The church of Laodicea is left to face the wrath of God The seas turned to blood, the skies darkened, earthquakes split the nations. The bowls of wrath poured: sores, fire, and death upon those who bore the mark.
Israel became the trembling focus of the world. From the north, east, and south, armies advanced toward Jerusalem. The Antichrist’s empire encircled the Holy Land.
Zechariah’s prophecy came alive:
“I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people.” (Zechariah 12:3)
The city fell into siege. Hope withered. The remnant cried out to God — broken, desperate, repentant.
6. The Heavens Open
Then it happened. “Immediately after the wrath of God… the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven.” (Matthew 24:29–30)
The skies split apart like a scroll. Lightning flashed from east to west, thunder shaking every mountain. From the glory of heaven rode the King — Jesus Christ, on a white horse, robed in light, crowned with many crowns.
Behind Him, the armies of heaven — clothed in white — followed. His name: The Word of God. He came not as the suffering Lamb, but as the Lion of Judah.
At His breath, darkness shattered. The Antichrist and his armies gathered in the great plain of Megiddo — the valley known as Armageddon. Yet the battle was no contest:
“He struck the nations… and the Beast was captured and cast alive into the lake of fire.”(Revelation 19:20)
The Word of His mouth destroyed the hosts of evil. The skies fell silent.
7. The Deliverance of Israel
The remnant of Israel looked upon Him whom they had pierced — and wept.
“They will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only son.” (Zechariah 12:10)
The Spirit of grace was poured out. He gathered His scattered people, cleansed them, and renewed His covenant of peace. Their Messiah had come, not as a stranger, but as Saviour and King.
8. The Reign of the King and the Glorified Saints
Satan was bound. Nations laid down their weapons. From Jerusalem, Jesus reigned in righteousness for a thousand years – Jesus Millennial Kingdom (http://www.millennialkingdom.net)
“The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11:9)
The deserts bloomed. Lions lay with lambs on His holy mountain. Justice and peace kissed the earth once again. Those who had suffered for His name beheld His face — their tears wiped away forever.

“Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened… And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.” Revelation 20:11-12
10. The Eternal Kingdom
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away… And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Revelation 21:1-2
“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them.” Revelation 21:3
The curse was no more. The Lamb’s light filled all creation. And so the story that began in a garden ended in a city — the magnificent New Jerusalem, radiant as a bride.
Epilogue
Across eternity echoed the words of victory:
“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15)
This one Scripture in Colossians describes the pre-eminence of Jesus Christ in history. Moreover, the Bible clearly, with many prophecies, tells us that Jesus is about to return to Earth first to rescue His Saints before God pours out His wrath upon an unrepentant world. with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements. Jesus will then return to Earth with the glorified Saints to rescue Israel and begin His Millennial reign. “He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister.” Colossians 1:15-23
God has unfinished business with Israel, the nation He set up to fulfil His purposes. God’s adversary, Satan, knows this and is intent on its destruction. He is the one who is inspiring the leaders of the nations to come against Israel. What is amazing, proving that God is in control of world events, is that all that is unfolding in the world is prophesied in God’s Word. This little nation in terms of land size is the centre of world events.
‘I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him who curses you; and in you ALL the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ (Genesis 12:2-3)

1. Prelude — The Seven Churches and the Seven Years
In the book of Revelation 2–3, Jesus addresses seven churches, which many believe represent successive stages of the Church Age. Yet, they also prophetically mirror events in the final seven‑year cycle before Jesus returns.

At the same time, in heaven, Jesus begins to open the seven seals — releasing events on earth that correspond with each year leading up to His visible return.
2. The First Four Years — The Four Horsemen
Seal 1–4 (Revelation 6:1‑8) As each seal opens, a rider goes forth:
White Horse – the coming world leader promising peace (the Antichrist). (Year 1)
Red Horse – war and bloodshed engulf the earth. (Year 2)
Black Horse – famine and economic collapse. (Year 3)
Pale Horse – death and pestilence follow. (Year 4)
During these years, persecution increases and the Church’s faith is tested severely. Many are martyred, and the lines between true and false disciples become clear.
3. The Fifth Seal — The Cry of the Martyrs
“I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain...” Revelation 6:9
Here John sees the souls, not yet resurrected bodies. They have overcome, but the resurrection has not yet occurred. Their cry — “How long, O Lord?” — sets the stage for divine intervention. This coincides with the fifth‑year of tribulation and the deep persecution of believers who refuse the mark of the Beast.
4. The Sixth Seal — The Threshold of God’s Wrath and the Rapture
“The great day of their wrath has come.” Revelation 6:12‑17
Cosmic disturbances shake heaven and earth — the sun darkened, the moon turned to blood, the stars falling. Then comes the great gathering:
“After this I saw a great multitude that no one could number… standing before the throne… clothed in white robes.” Revelation 7:9
The Philadelphia Promise Fulfilled
This multitude represents the raptured saints—the resurrected dead in Christ and living believers taken up together (1 Thessalonians 4:16‑17). They hold palm branches, the symbol of the Feast of Tabernacles — a prophetic sign of the saints now dwelling with God. The faithful Church is kept from the “hour of trial.” Jesus calls, and in a moment, “in the twinkling of an eye,” the dead are raised incorruptible, and the living transformed. He gathers His Bride — the glorified saints — before the trumpet judgments unleash the wrath of God.
5. The Seventh Seal — Trumpets of Wrath
When the seventh seal is opened, there is silence in heaven for half an hour (Revelation 8:1), and then seven trumpets sound. This marks the beginning of God’s Wrath, distinct from the tribulation of the saints.
For one year and ten days — echoing the duration of Noah’s flood — the Trumpet and Bowl judgments fall upon the unrepentant earth:
Hail and fire devastate vegetation.
A burning mountain turns seas to blood.
Waters become bitter.
Heavens darken, light fades.
Demonic torment released.
Armies of the East advance.
The Kingdom of the world becomes the Kingdom of our Lord (Revelation 11:15).
The Laodicean church, having rejected truth, faces this wrath. Mercy’s door closes for those who refused grace but they still have the opportunity to repent and I am sure many will.
6. The Year of Wrath and the Jubilee Restoration
Just as in Noah’s day, wrath lasts one year and ten days, culminating with the Day of Atonement — symbolic of the Messiah’s return to Israel. When Jesus descends, it inaugurates the Jubilee Year, the fiftieth — the year of release and restoration. The land rests, captives are freed, and every inheritance returns to its rightful owner.
“To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” Isaiah 61:2; Luke 4:19
Thus, after the year of wrath, the earth enters its Sabbath rest — the Millennial Reign of Christ.
7. The King Returns and the Age of Jubilee Begins
Heaven opens once more:
“Behold, a white horse, and He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True.” Revelation 19:11
Jesus descends with His glorified saints — the resurrected and raptured Church — to defeat the Antichrist at the Battle of Armageddon.
Satan is bound. The earth is renewed. Israel is redeemed and restored. The nations come to Jerusalem year by year to worship the King. (Zechariah 14:16)
And the first year of His glorious reign begins as the Jubilee Year — proclaiming “liberty throughout all the land.” (Leviticus 25:10)

Jesus Millennial Kingdom is a transition period so that God’s covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Davidic covenant and the New Covenant can be fulfilled. God has unfinished business with Israel.
“This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:5-6
