The Ninth Amendment to the Fundamental Law of Hungary, the country’s equivalent of a constitution, was passed in Parliament last week by a margin of 134-45. The amendment, which was backed by Prime Minister Viktor Orban, will amend Section L paragraph (1) of the Fundamental Law to read:
“Hungary protects the institution of marriage as the association between a man and a woman and the family as the basis for the survival of a nation. The foundation of the family is marriage and the parent-child relationship. The mother is a woman, the father is a man.”
“The main rule is that only married couples can adopt a child, that is, a man and woman who are married,” said Justice Minister Judit Varga, Reuters reported.
Varga, who sent the amendment to Parliament last month, said it will also work to provide “all children with an education based on the values of the Christian culture of Hungary and guarantees the undisturbed development of the child according to their gender at birth,” Hungary Today noted.
“The Fundamental Law of Hungary is a living framework that expresses the will of the nation, the form in which we want to live,” Varga wrote in the justification section of the bill. “However, the ‘modern’ set of ideas that make all traditional values, including the two sexes, relative is a growing concern.”
“The constant threat to the natural laws of the forms and content of human communities, to the concepts arising from the order of Creation that harmonize with them and ensure the survival of communities, and, in some cases, the attempt to formulate them with a content contrary to the original raises doubts as to whether the interests, rights and well-being of future generations can be protected along the lines of the values of the Fundamental Law,” Varga added.
The passage of the Ninth Amendment comes less than a year after Parliament voted in favor of a measure that defines gender as “biological sex based on primary sex characteristics and chromosomes.” Like the measure-preserving the traditional definition of sex, the Ninth Amendment faced strong pushback from LGBT advocacy groups.

“This is a dark day for Hungary’s LGBTQ community and a dark day for human rights,” said David Vig, director of Amnesty Hungary. “These discriminatory, homophobic and transphobic new laws — rushed through under the cover of the coronavirus pandemic — are just the latest attack on LGBTQ people by Hungarian authorities.”
“Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
How good is this verse of Scripture. It is the benediction given by Paul to the church at Thessalonica. Note: God is the One who will sanctify you and cause you to mature into the image of Christ. It does take work on your part, which is detailed in the preceding verses.
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22
Thankfully, God, the Holy Spirit is the source and strength of our progress. One day you’ll be completely whole, perfect, and pleasing to God in every way. This will happen at the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Until then, we are works in progress.
He has called you, and He will be faithful to work in you what is pleasing to Him.

Prof. John Lennox is a Professor of Mathematics at Oxford University and an internationally renowned speaker and author of numerous books on the interface of science, philosophy, and religion.
A must watch for Christians and non-Christians alike. Both will be enlightened and hopefully as a result will be better people with hope for the future.
The chief dangers that confront the world today are politics without God, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without the justifying work of the Holy Spirit.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) has revealed its Davos2021Agenda, confirming the annual gathering of political and business elites next month will be a digital event heralding the public unveiling of its GreatResetInitiative (essentially a one-world government). “This global pandemic has demonstrated again how interconnected we are. We have to restore a functioning system of smart global cooperation structured to address the challenges of the next 50 years. The Great Reset will require us to integrate all stakeholders of global society into a community of common interest, purpose, and action,” said Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum.
What the world really needs is a “church reset”. Churches back to their New Testament roots as described in the Book of Acts. This includes upholding the inerrancy of God’s Word and its account of the history of the Cosmos including the miraculous. The miraculous events of creation, Noah’s worldwide flood, the confusion of languages at the Tower of Babel which created the nations, Jesus incarnation, and resurrection.
God does intervene in history to alter reality. He has done it in the past and will continue to do so in the future. His Word tells us that the catastrophic world events unfolding right now signal Jesus’ return to this earth is not too far distant.
It seems that for many liberal theologians those “mighty, saving acts of God and of judgement” are symbolic, images, rather than extra-mental realities. As a result, theology takes on a whole new nonsensical meaning. It no longer explains anything but only expresses the effects symbols might and perhaps should have in the spiritual lives of individuals and groups. Moreover, they are oblivious to the promise of Jesus second coming as are the scoffers described by Peter “knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:3-4
Churches must undergo a reset that begins with getting back to the authority and truth of God’s Word and then obeying His commandment to complete the Great Commission to share the Gospel with others, to make disciples who will, in turn, make disciples. The church described in the Book of Actsand by Jesus in Matthew.
“I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:16
The “keys” signify the authority given to Christ’s church to stand against the powers of “Hades,” or Hell. The church needs to start walking in this authority
“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” … And Jesus answered them… “and because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:3, 12-13
Of interest, the original title for the post was in the last days lawlessness will abound but it was censored and immorality substituted.
The current generation of U.S. politicians do not blink an eye at racking up $3 trillion in debt in one year that the next generation of politicians will have to figure out how to pay off. If you truly believe that government debt matters (and it does), America and many other nations are overleveraged and way into debt with no way out. The immorality (lawlessness) of what they are doing is staggering and further evidence that we are living in the days of the “end of the age“.
Politicians used to discuss solutions for reducing or eliminating government debt. It was a conservative-virtue talking point for them. But they can’t pretend anymore… There is no conceivable way that government can continue to send taxpayers into debt at record rates without consequences to the stability of the government and severe impact on the economy. The U.S. is entering dangerous territory, and it needs to take a hard look at ways to cut spending going forward but we know this will not happen. The Coronavirus has and is escalating the problem and a massive wave of bankruptcies is coming that will put many banks into a precarious position, e.g. reports indicate that government efforts to help the private sector in the wake of state shutdowns for the economy may not have worked. Shane Shifflett of the Wall Street Journal wrote on November 17, “About 300 companies that received as much as half a billion dollars in pandemic-related government loans have filed for bankruptcy.“ So in addition to the lost economic activity, as a result of the pandemic and government shutdowns, the federal government wasted borrowed cash on an ill-conceived plan to save small businesses. There are also legendary stories of fraud in the Paycheck Protection Program. According to the New York Post, as of September, there have been 2,495 suspicious activity reports thanks to companies self-certifying that they qualified for loans. Fox Business reported that one Virginia man “lied to obtain $2.5 million in loans” that he ended up using to purchase a Cessna aircraft and a luxury car. Another report indicated that a Florida man used his loan to purchase a Lamborghini.

Call To Repentance (CTR) songs are designed to convict the listener of his own sin. Here is an example of CTR lyrics, from Keith Green’s Asleep in the Light (1978). Where are the CTR songs today?

Most contemporary worship songs today focus on comfort and assurance whereas CTR songs point out our shortcomings. CTR songs are anything but positive and encouraging.
Most of today’s praise songs are sung from the perspective of the disciple, CTR songs are sung from the perspective of God. In praise and worship, we are the speaker, telling God how we feel about him. With CTR, God is the speaker, telling us how he feels about us.
it’s easy to see why CRT songs seem so out of place in church today. It’s easy to tell God how wonderful he is. It’s hard to hear how depraved we are.
I believe Keith Green’s songs are the slap in the face we need today to spur us on to greater obedience. They focus on our actions, not our emotions. They demand change. And they challenge rather than comfort.
Parker and Jessi Green started feeling what they described as a Holy Spirit restlessness amid full-time ministry in New York City. Despite being well-compensated and “successful” by several measures, something was amiss and the couple could not ignore how God was tugging at their hearts.
A SALT micro church in Southern California
For the past four years, the Greens have been active with SALT churches, a network of micro churches they started in the region of Southern California. Earlier this year, they led Saturate OC, worship on the beach evangelistic outreach.
If you ask Parker, a micro church is around 10 to 40 people reaching those who do not yet know Jesus, making disciples, and most importantly, are on mission together. That “being on mission” aspect distinguishes it from previous home-based church movements.
“Doing what Jesus is doing [in realtime], I find, is super helpful,” he said, chuckling lightly, in a recent interview with The Christian Post. Jessi added: “We definitely think that this is the trajectory that the Church is going to move in and it’s funny because I think especially because of social media we’re so afraid to almost innovate when it comes to church because we don’t want to appear like we’re bashing or against the current thing.”
“But if you look at church history, what we see right now is how many people would define ‘church’ is actually pretty new as of the last 100 years. What we see now as almost untouchable when it comes to church and how it’s done, most of the world would not define that as church at all.” And distinctly missional micro churches are actually closer to what is seen in the pages of Scripture, they maintained. The “traditional” model that has become the norm for many in the Western world is not as normal as many think.
As many of you know, I have said for many years that the church in the “last days” before Jesus returns will be like the church described in the Book of Acts. God is refining His church with tribulation which will only escalate as prophesied “birth pangs” increase. Francis Chan was the first pastor of a major church that I saw God challenge to walk away from the mega-church model. It has been wonderful to follow his walk since, Home Groups in the USA, then to Hong Kong and ministering to the unreached in places such as Myanmar (Burma). Moreover in Myanmar, for the first time, he has walked in the power of the Holy Spirit with healings and miracles.

A prominent pro-life group has named President Donald Trump as its “Person of the Year” for 2020 for his public policy efforts on abortion and judicial appointments.
Operation Rescue announced Tuesday that Trump was the recipient of its 2020 Person of the Year Malachi Award, having previously bestowed him with the honor in 2017.
The organization cited Trump’s efforts to remove Title X funding from Planned Parenthood, pulling out of the United Nations’ World Health Organization due to its support for abortion, the appointment of numerous pro-life judges, including three justices of the United States Supreme Court, and his administration withholding $200 million in tax dollars from California over a state law requiring healthcare providers to cover abortions, regardless of any moral objections.
“President Trump has done more to build a Culture of Life in the U.S. than all previous presidents combined,” said Operation Rescue’s President Troy Newman, as quoted in the announcement.
“It is my honor to acknowledge these accomplishments and relay my deep gratitude to him for keeping and exceeding all his promises when it comes to the matter of abortion.”
Operation Rescue previously awarded Trump the Malachi Award in 2017, citing among other things his Department of Justice launching a formal investigation into claims that Planned Parenthood profited from selling aborted baby body parts, reversing an Obama-era rule requiring states to fund Planned Parenthood, expanding conscience protections for religious groups opposed to covering abortions in their healthcare plans, and enforcing the Mexico City Policy, which barred the funding of abortion overseas.
“He has proven to be the most pro-life president we have had in modern history and has backed up his pro-life rhetoric with action like no other before him,” stated Newman in 2017.

They believe as I do that the church in the “last days” will be like the church described in the Book of Acts. 2020 Report on Kenya House Church Movement
Here at KHC, we endeavour to make disciples for Jesus Christ in fulfilment of the great commission that Jesus Christ gave us in Mathew 28:19. The disciples made, are put in house church groups (Ekklesia). No buildings neither nor paid pastors.
FINISHING WELL 2020, EXPECTING WHAT GOD HOLDS FOR US IN 2021: 2020 was a big year for us here at KHC, God has been gracious to us, and every place we have visited, we have been able to receive a positive outcome despite some few challenges that came our way, such as strong opposition from the religious leaders. But we were able to sail through and we give God the glory.

We hope the LEN team is also blessed by being part of the KHC movement, all through the year 2020 and since God has placed us together in the work of ministry. KHC 2020 OVERVIEW PROGRESS:
We are honored to share with you an overview of our progress in 2020. It has been the most successful year since KHC was founded in 2010, upon the revelation of God’s word, and prayers.
1) House Church Groups: Numbers are important to and through our numeric increase we have been able to start eight house church groups in 4 different sub-counties within the Republic of Kenya.
NAMES OF 8 CHURCH GROUPS & REGIONS FOUND:
– Mubachi in Migori region (Charles’s home church group) – Buembu in Migori region. – Kokendi in Migori region. – Bondo in Migori region. – Ong’er in Nyatike region (Alfred’s home church group) – Ndhiwa in the Homa-Bay region. – Karungu in Nyatike region. – Opapo in Rongo region.
A newly founded group of believers at Kogaja in Busia region near the border of Kenya and Uganda is still undergoing our foundational teachings. Come 2021, an elder and a church group pastor will be appointed from among them, to head the church group, to enable it to be a fully functioning house church group.
In Tanzania, God is giving us a breakthrough; a wide door is opened to the KHC team so come February 2021, two new church groups will be started in Mwanza and Nyamuzi in the Republic of Tanzania. We expect exciting additions in 2021 and it is our hope and prayers that 2021, KHC team will be able to take the gospel to places we could not visit in 2020.
NUMBER OF CHURCH GROUPS MEMBERS:
In 2020, we have witnessed a rapid increase of Church group members than in the previous years. Many lives have been reached for Jesus Christ. An additional 3 church groups were founded.
The total number of our church group members in the 8 church groups has increased from 220 in 2018/2019 up to 300 in 2020.
2)DISCIPLE SHIP & EVANGELISM CAMPAIGNS:
-Evangelism and discipleship, is the heart of KHC movement, here at KHC. The evangelism team led by pastor Jacob, has been able to lead our team, visiting several places ministering, in market places, hospitals, prisons, schools. And visiting marginalized families and destitute children, sharing with them the love of God and leading them to Jesus Christ.
In the past 12 months, KHC team members have been able to visit 24 secondary schools, 30 homes, 10 prisons cells, 15 hospitals, 25 market places, and ministered to 120 orphans and vulnerable children (OVC).
3) TRAINING THE TRAINERS:
In 2020, KHC have been able to teach and give training to 4 members, from all our church groups, after every six months.And after undergoing our training manual, they are being sent out to various places as ambassadors for Jesus Christ, with the sole reason of making disciples, and starting a house church group. Currently, some of our two brothers were in Tanzania and just came back to us 5 days ago and reported about the need to start up the two church groups, mentioned above.
4) WEEKLY BIBLE STUDIES:
Here at KHC,we have a weekly Bible study, whereby church group members meet once a week to pray and search the scriptures.
5) EMPOWERING THE POOR:
In 2019 to date, KHC initiated an empowering program to help support the widows, orphans, and the needy members in the KHC movement. Every church group has the freedom to start its own income-generating projects, such as crop farming, vegetable growing, dairy keeping, shopkeeping, poultry keeping, second-hand clothing business etc, this is to help support our church group members to become financially stable.
2021 KHC PLANS:
1) Zoom meetings:
In 2021, KHC, has a plan to buy a large TV screen and a computer, to help KHC, join other parachurch organizations in holding zoom meetings. This will help KHC, to learn and share end time signs of Jesus second coming,and other teachings pertaining to the last day’s church.
2) Discipleship & Evangelism:
In 2021, KHC movement has a plan to expand its discipleship making programme and evangelism campaigns to other places, and territories, moving outside the 4 sub-counties.
3) Bible study programme.
In 2021, KHC has a plan to open a KHC library, where a number of books from the recommended parachurch organizations can be sourced. This will help our church group members, be able to learn and understand from different authors about the last day’s church, prophetic end times signs of Jesus second coming, living eternal now, kingdom business, etc.
Income generating projects:
KHC in 2021 is planning to open up a medical facility/laboratory where church group members,and other people from the neighborhood communities can come for a medical check-up, and treatment, the minimal and affordable fee, paid will be used for the financial stability and physical growth of the KHC movement.
2021 KHC GOALS:
KHC’s goals is to flood the nation Kenya with the gospel, and moving out and enter new territories with the gospel of Jesus Christ. For 2021, KHC’s prime goal is to reach out to 500 people with the gospel and start-up 5 more house church groups based on Biblical foundation.
