Food Shortage Warnings Are Already Starting To Appear, And Now Tropical Storm Barry Is Going To Rip Through America’s Heartland

  • It’s the end of June 2019, six weather and climate disaster events have been identified to date, with losses exceeding $1 billion each across the U.S. during 2019. These events included four severe storm events and two flooding events.

  • The middle of the country has been relentlessly hammered by endless rain and unprecedented flooding for months, and now it is about to be absolutely pummelled by Tropical Storm Barry. Needless to say, this is going to cause even more headaches for Midwestern farmers. At this point, millions of acres of prime farmland are not going to be planted at all this year, and there are tens of millions of other acres where crops are really, really struggling.
  • “U.S. corn will be in short supply, but emotions, fears, and hoarding could push it to shortage,” says Ned Schmidt, editor of the Agri-Food Value View Report. The “reality of the situation will develop over time, pushing December 2019 corn to $5.05” a bushel by year end
  • Could this be connected to what Jesus said would occur in the “last days”. “And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:7  Within the last seven days, our planet has experienced an average of more than 677 earthquakes of magnitude 1.5 or greater per day. That means the number of global earthquakes right now is more than three times above normal. And the number of very large earthquakes is at a frighteningly high level as well. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), there have been 121 earthquakes of at least magnitude 4.5 around the world within the last seven days, and that includes the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that just hit Japan.

SHEEP AMONG WOLVES – CHRISTIANS IN MUSLIM COUNTRIES

The video below, Sheep Among Wolves, sub titled, Chronicles of the Persecuted Church, will challenge Christians living in the West.

Islam is the great challenge of our day particularly for the church. Christians know that God is greater than Satan but are challenged by seeing God and His values being rejected by society and much of the church compromising with the world’s values.

Fortunately, God raises up the David’s to knock down the giants Satan is using, just as David killed Goliath. This video shows us God is still raising up the nobodies to be somebodies in His Kingdom in countries where Christian persecution is rife.

Are we willing to offer up our bodies as a living sacrifice for Jesus? You will learn in this video, that it is a necessary step for Christians living in Muslim countries where they are facing intense persecution.

Isis is revealing the real face of Islam. Where is the love of God in Islam? The God who tells us to love our neighbour as ourselves.

My recent experience with a Muslim taxi driver is worthwhile sharing here.

I had booked a taxi to travel from  my home to Sydney’s domestic airport. The taxi driver looked a Muslim and I felt led by the Holy Spirit to get in the front with him. Immediately, I noticed that the mandatory picture of the driver with his name and licence number was not visible above the front windscreen. I was concerned that he may not be a licensed taxi driver, although a taxi meter was present and operating. A quick prayer, led me to ask him his name so I  said, my name is Ron, what is yours?  He did not want to tell me, but I persevered, and he eventually blurted out, my name is Mohammed and I am ashamed to be a Muslim. Wow! what do I say Lord? My response was simple, why is that Mohammed? He said, he could not get the image of the beheading of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians in Libya by ISIS militants out of his mind nor could he understand why they did it in the name of Allah. What next Lord? All I said was, Mohammed, God calls us to love Him first and then to love our neighbour as our self. Then, I put my hand on his shoulder and said, God calls me to love you Mohammed. The response from Mohammed was dramatic, he took both hands off the wheel and cried out, That’s it! That’s it! It was like a light had turned on for Mohammed, this is the God he wanted to serve. Mind you we almost ran up the footpath. When we got to the airport Mohammed did not want to leave me. I gave him my business card and told him to call me. How many other Muslims are like Mohammed questioning the Muslim God of terrorism?

David Barton, a well-respected Christian historian revealed the following information on the Strang Report by Stephen Strang of Charisma Media. The Podcast was entitled:

Insight Into America’s Christian History with David Barton

In the USA, the Barna Group recently put three massive polls in the field on Christian values and beliefs. The results were staggering… 72% of churches and senior pastors do not agree with the Bible and do not agree with its teachings.”

The survey was conducted among 384,000 churches and senior pastors. Only 28% of American Christians actually believe the Bible is true and agree with its teachings. To make matters worse, among those 28% that believe the Bible is true and agree with its teachings, Barton says, 97% say the Bible speaks directly to hot-button political topics today. But those same people said they refused to preach about those issues because they were political.

“That puts us at 2.8% of pastors addressing what the Bible addresses if it’s also in the news,” Barton says. “Now that’s a problem. We also have a problem when only 14% of Christians read the Bible every day. … And only 9% of Christians have a biblical worldview. … So we’re looking at a nation that doesn’t think biblically.”

This modern trend of unbiblical thinking stands in stark contrast to the common mindset during our nation’s founding, Barton says.

“When you look at the founding of America on the side that was the really biblical side, they were very covenantal as a people, and they believed in covenants,” he says. “As John Winthrop said, ‘If you deal treacherously with God in this endeavour, you’ll bring judgement.’ … And they viewed their contracts as covenants. As a matter of fact, that’s why the longest-lasting treaty back in history was between Pilgrims and the Wampanaugs. And it wasn’t the Pilgrims who broke the treaty; it was the Wampanaugs who broke it.”

In this way, Barton explains, the Bible-minded colonists of early America acted like Israel. Israel had a covenant with God that could not change. That’s how these early colonial Americans viewed their national covenant with God.

“We’re now in a place described three times in the Bible where everyone did what was right in their own eyes,” he says. “[They say,] ‘I can choose my identity if I want.’ … So we now have 92 legally recognised identities in America. … So I would say that it’s not ‘Where’s God?’ It’s ‘Where’s God’s people and why have they stopped studying His Word and why do they no longer believe what He said?’

Exactly what we are seeing playing out in the world is revealed in God’s Word. The Pharisees and Sadducee’s did not discern the time of Jesus first coming despite the three hundred plus prophecies and likewise despite the many more prophecies of Jesus second coming much of the church is oblivious to the truth therein.

Paul describes the events preceding the Day of the Lord (Jesus second coming): “Let no one deceive you by any means for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3

Jesus describing the end times tribulation: ” Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” Matthew 24:9-13

WANT TO BE USED BY GOD?

The big first lesson to learn: “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”  James 4:6 & Proverbs 3:34

God is opposed to the proud — He resists them — but He promotes the humble. Humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less. If you want to be used by God, one of the essential things you need to do, is to choose to live humbly.

God is in love with process! The process will inevitably involve whatever is necessary to develop our character, repentance will be prominent in the journey. Process gives us the things that are needed to sustain the greatness that God wants in our life. The truth is we never get to be a person who “arrives”!

The trap of pride is one of the big obstacles. It’s easy to think, “I know more than someone else; I have a special relationship with God.”

“For me, it was a 14 years process from the dream to actually becoming the Prophetic Ministries Director at Bethel. Whenever we are promoted in a healthy way, it is a combination of two things: the favour of God and the favour of man.

The favour of God can be judged by the fruit of the Spirit. Let me be clear: NOT the gifts of the Spirit but the fruits! Beyond that, the favour of man is two-fold — it lies in both the community you’re leading and the leadership that recognised you.

One thing that I wish I could tell all prophetic people is to fall in love with the process. Realise that if it’s taking longer than you expect to fulfil your destiny, it may be because there is a greater gift that God wants to instil in your life and He is making sure that you will be able to sustain it. So embrace the process and try and get all of the good things that God is trying to teach you in your present season. If you lean in, you will be a lot more mature and a greater resource to the people you are ministering to.

Q: IF THERE WAS ONE THING YOU COULD TELL YOUR YOUNGER SELF ABOUT THE PROPHETIC, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

A: Because prophets can see so much of the future, sometimes the trap of pride can take hold in their lives. It’s easy to think, “I know more than someone else; I have a special relationship with God.” Personally, I had to die to a lot of pride. It’s important to anyone who can see the future in people’s lives, and who have a propensity towards the prophetic, to learn patience and to humble ourselves enough to help people navigate the bread crumbs to their future.

Trust me because I did the whole gig where I impressed people with powerful prophetic words, but it never helped promote them into the future. In fact, it was actually an obstacle to their future because it was too big for the moment they were in. I learned through the School of Hard Knocks to give bread crumbs that led people along the path and helped them move to the future without keeping them from the steps that God had in mind for them.”

The practice of keeping our hearts and minds pure, repenting frequently, will help us to run and thrive, to be in the centre of God’s will for our lives!

 

 

THE MARK OF THE BEAST IS NOT TOO FAR OFF

In expectation of the next bust, there was this warning from the ‘central bank of central banks’…

‘Bank for International Settlements (BIS) chief Agustin Carstens has urged top central banks to preserve their ammunition for more serious economic downturns rather than deplete it chasing higher growth.’

How much interest rate ammo does the IMF think the average central banker should have in reserve?

‘Severe recessions have historically required 3–6 percentage points cut in policy rates.’

And as if we didn’t already know, the IMF tells us…

‘If another crisis happens, few countries would have that kind of room for monetary policy to respond.’

Without the three–six percentage point buffer, how do our central banker bandits get out of this pickle?

Back in February 2019, the IMF released a paper titled…

‘Cashing In: How to Make Negative Interest Rates Work’

The obvious problem with negative rates is that no one wants to be charged to deposit their funds with a bank…it goes against everything we’ve grown up with.

Better to take out the cash out and keep it under the mattress or in a safe-deposit box.

The banks are well aware that customers have this option…and have used this option.

This has been the experience in Europe. In their efforts to discourage customers from withdrawing cash, banks have been caught in a real bind.

The banks have elected to not pass on the negative rates to customer accounts…instead, they’re absorbing the costs. Not good for the bottom line. Hence, we can expect to see more Deutsche Bank scenarios; “European banking giant axes 18,000 jobs” BBC News,  10th July 2019.

The system has become so dependent on debt and central bank intervention that it’s incapable of functioning on its own.

The dire economic and social consequences of a collapsing system will force policy makers to act…do something, do anything.

And that something and anything, is most likely going to be deeply negative rates and the monetising of government deficits.

Modern Monetary Theory is nothing more than printing money to finance government deficits…allowing governments to go on an unlimited spend-a-thon.

Of course, we’ll be told this officially counterfeited money will be spent responsibly. The chaos we see unfolding in our time is exactly what God has told us in His Word will happen in the “end times”. Jesus said, “See, I have told you beforehand.” Matthew 24:25

GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS OF THE SAINTS

It’s difficult to overstate how historic it is for a sitting Australian Prime Minister to wear his faith so unapologetically, and humbly bring the nation’s needs before Almighty God. With 21,000 people in attendance, Scott Morrison prayed publicly for Australia at the Hillsong Conference, the biggest annual Christian conference in the nation. Scott Morrison petitioned God to intervene for young people struggling with mental health, veterans, Indigenous Aussies, those with disabilities, and for a break to the drought. BIGGEST ANIMAL DISEASE OUTBREAK ON PLANET EARTH

Fox News Flash: Top Headlines for June 6th, 2019

This is the biggest animal disease outbreak we’ve ever had on the planet,” Dirk Pfeiffer, a veterinary epidemiologist at City University of Hong Kong and swine fever expert, said. “It makes the foot and mouth disease and [mad cow disease] outbreaks pale in comparison to the damage that is being done. And we have no way to stop it from spreading.”

China is the epicentre for this outbreak, and it is also home to half of all the pigs in the world. Actually, to be more accurate, I should say that it used to be home to half of all the pigs in the world. In a normal year, China slaughters approximately 700 million pigs. But according to Rabobank, that number will be down 30% this year due to this outbreak. To put that into perspective, that 30% loss in production is equivalent to Europe’s entire annual pork supply, and almost 30% larger than U.S. annual pork production.

We have never seen an animal disease outbreak like this before, and it is rapidly getting worse. African Swine Fever, also referred to as “pig Ebola”, has already wiped out millions upon millions of pigs and it continues to spread to even more countries. There is no vaccine, and there is no cure, and so essentially, we don’t have any way to stop this disease. At this point, the only solution is to kill all the pigs wherever the virus is found and desperately hope that it doesn’t spread anywhere else. But that approach clearly hasn’t been working, and according to a recent Fox News report, this epidemic has now become the “biggest animal disease outbreak we’ve ever had on the planet”

Jesus on the “end times” prior to His return: “And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. “All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:7-8) that lead up to the final seven years (70th week of Daniel) prior Jesus return and His Millennial reign on this earth.
