Francis Chan recommends that every Christian take some time to read through Revelation with fresh eyes. He did, and it changed his perception of the book. End-Times Scholar: Microchips Are Scary Next Step to Control Population
A technology growing in popularity allows computer chips to be implanted under the skin. It brings to mind the “mark of the beast” prophesied in Revelation 13:16-17. For the first time in history, technology has made it possible.
Christian activists, including conspiracy theorist Mark Dice, the author of a book titled The Resistance Manifesto, make the link between chipping of humans and the biblical mark of the beast prophesied to be a future requirement for buying and selling.
It will be very attractive to governments in order to control people and their finances. Moreover, they can put a positive spin on its implementation. It has so much potential for good that it is almost inevitable that governments will want to use this,” Rabbi Pinchas Winston, a prolific end-of-days author, said. “They can’t afford prisons and policing anymore for the expanding populations. Rather than put someone in prison, they can make it impossible to exit their home. If they identify a criminal, they can remotely shut down their car, deny them access to money and food. A lot of people will be deterred from non-compliance with the law.
The process is relatively simple. An identifying integrated circuit device or Radio-frequency identification (RFID) transponder encased in silicate glass approximately the size of a grain of rice is implanted under the skin using a device similar to a syringe. Local anaesthetic is used during the procedure. The use of sub-dermal RFIDs for domestic and farm animals is widespread and some countries require them to be implanted This was first done by a physician in 1998 and was approved for use in humans by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2004.
Proponents of this new technology claim a myriad of benefits. Some companies currently recommend implantation for their employees for security purposes. Locks and elevators can be paired with sensors so that only specific people can open a door. Computers can use the sensor to identify users when they log on, allowing them to access files and systems specific to them. Using the chip as “biopayment” in place of a credit card is in the developmental stages and could lead to a cashless society. It is also feasible to create a smart gun that will only allow the owner of a gun to fire it. Theoretically, a GPS-enabled chip could one day make it possible for individuals to be physically located anywhere on the planet. The chip can link to an external database containing vital medical information for emergency use. This would be especially useful in cases of dementia or where the patient is uncooperative. It can also be used by law enforcement agencies to identify subjects and track their movements. Both of these applications raise serious concerns about civil liberties.

More than 18,000 people committed their lives to Jesus Christ through the efforts of the Luis Palau Association’s Bogota Festival held in Bogota, Colombia in August 2018.
The ministry reports close to 12,700 making a public confession of faith in Christ on the closing night of the festival, according to a report by the NRB. “What a blessing! To God be the glory!”
The festival was a region-wide effort led by Luis’ son Andrew Palau. It marked the ministry’s return to the area 52 years after evangelist Luis Palau’s first major campaign to win souls in the heart of Colombia’s capital city.
More than 850 local churches and 11,000 local Christians participated in the three-day campaign designed to shake the nation of Columbia, targeting local business and civic leaders, women and even prisoners, according to Palau Association press release. In addition, the ministry partnered with Bibles for the World to provide Bibles at the Bogota event. The Bogotá festivals were broadcast throughout Latin America by the television network Enlace.
The crusade in 1966 not only marked a powerful shift in the trajectory of Colombia, whose evangelical community experienced exponential growth following the campaign but also set a model for a citywide impact that the ministry has used to reach millions of people throughout the world for more than 55 years, according to the press release.
Pastor Steven Anderson, a Baptist pastor, does a good job of showing how Revelation 11 reveals the answers to the questions posed by Zechariah to the angel, on the vision given of the golden lampstand and the two olive trees, in Zechariah 4.
The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 are the two anointed ones, the spirit of the Lord has come upon them, and it certainly could be the Spirit of Elijah and Moses considering the works we are told these two witnesses do, which mirror those done by Elijah and Moses.
After the Rapture, God will still have His witnesses on the earth with the Two Witnesses in Jerusalem and the 144,000 evangelists – “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants (144,000) of our God on their foreheads” Revelation 7:3
I would also agree with Pastor Anderson on his timing of The Rapture being PreWrath just before God pours out His wrath upon the earth with the Trumpet and Bowl judgements.

The Jubilee Year, which started on the Day of Atonement in 2017, is as relevant today as it was when God had Moses introduce it to His people (Leviticus) two thousand years ago. When the trumpet sounded, the land must be returned to its original owners. It was a time of restoration.
In 1917, the land was given back to the Jewish people on a Jubilee year by the British with the Balfour declaration. In 1948, Israel was re-established as a nation by the UN but Jordan is given control over Jerusalem. The next Jubilee in 1967, Israel gets back its capital Jerusalem. This is exactly what is prophesied in God’s Word and therefore proof positive it was God’s plan, it came to pass. What about Jubilee 2017? This is the year that the leader of the most powerful nation, on earth, President Trump, recognises Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved its Embassy there.
The Jubilee is relevant for all nations as shown by Jonathan Cahn on his trip to Cuba. You must hear his story of what transpired in Cuba. It truly is amazing, I have never heard anything like it before, God was in it, miracle after miracle. Proof of God’s sovereignty, His total control over His universe.
Jonathan believes that in this Jubilee, God is releasing His power to live as the church did in the Book of Acts.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over, and His glory will be seen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1. It is time for all believers to take up our inheritance. The Holy Spirit’s power will be released, as it was in the early church, for us to accomplish all that He has prescribed for each one of us in these last days.
I have across another great sermon from Francis Chan. He starts in Revelation and its importance for these “last days” including sound teaching on the “Mark of the Beast of Revelation 13:16-18, but he concludes with information on how they are doing church. It lines up with the church we read about in the Book of Acts: small groups that require all participants to use their Holy Spirit given gifts, no buildings, no paid pastors and those small groups giving rise to more small groups – disciples making disciples. The centrality and inerrancy of Scripture is KEY.
