FALSE TEACHERS IN THE LAST DAYS

Sadly teachers abound in Bible Colleges and churches who deny the inerrancy of Scripture. They deny the Bible teaches a direct connection between God’s original acts of creation and His absolute control of every event in time.

The doctrine of creation teaches that God made the physical world using language. He then formed man in His image and gave him the ability to use words to know the world. This includes man’s capacity to record past events and accurately communicate them to others.

This control includes accurate communication through His prophets about real events which He brings to pass. As Isaiah tells us:

“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: ‘I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself, who frustrates the signs of liars and makes fools of diviners, who turns wise men back and makes their knowledge foolish, who confirms the word of his servant and fulfils the counsel of his messengers, who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be inhabited,’ and of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall be built, and I will raise up their ruins.’” (Isaiah 44:24-26)

According to Isaiah, there is no essential division between function and matter, language and event, theology and history. One need only read Isaiah 40-48 to see that God forms real materials for specific functions. He explains His words and deeds in space and time through His servants the prophets. He directly connects theology to His actions in history.

Dr. Nicholas Perrin, a professor of Biblical studies at Wheaton who specialises in Gnosticism in the early church, explains this essential connection between God and history:

“God made history and history matters. Apart from the conviction that our faith is a historical faith, we are left only to cast about. But, when we are fully persuaded that sacred history meshes with the history in which we live and move and have our being, that is when biblical faith becomes a real possibility…. The heart-and-mind value of reconnecting the biblical world with the ‘real world’ can hardly be overstated. Somehow in our confused modern-day thinking, we have managed to put asunder what God has joined together.”

Is it any wonder then, that although Biblically false, Christians in the USA believe:

70% of Christians believe Jesus was the first being God created

66% of evangelical Christians say heaven is a place where all people will be reunited with their loved ones.

54% of Christians believe everyone sins a little, but most people are good by nature.

It follows that many church denominations are accepting gay marriage, homosexual and even transgender pastors/leaders. The Bible gives us many examples of God bringing judgement upon Israel and other nations that transgress His laws, why do we think He will not do so today. Jesus said that prior to His Second Coming people would be like they were in the days of Noah. They will call good evil and evil good. Wickedness will abound.

A time of increasing tribulation is coming for believers but eventually God’s wrath will be poured on the unrepentant during the trumpet and bowl judgements. At the sixth seal (Revelation 6:17), we read “For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand.”

In these last days, it will be imperative you are in a church that believes in the inerrancy of God’s Word. The Bible provides a true history of this world and all of the prophesied events in both the old and new testaments have come to pass. Proof it is God’s Word.

BIBLE IS ABOUT REAL PEOPLE AND REAL EVENTS

The Bible is a book made up of different types of writing: history, laws, songs, prophecy, wisdom, and letters. One thing these writings have in common is their authors assumed they were writing about real people and events. As Peter explains:

“For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For when he received honour and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased,’ we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain.” (2 Peter 1:16-18)

“With the Bible you have this notion that there is providence, a purposeful plan by God himself that is then worked out across time in a linear, understandable, traceable fashion.” – George Grant

There are many internal indicators that Biblical writers were referring to actual events. The authors provide specific dates, identify locations, describe geographical features, or point out man-made monuments that were still existing when the original readers read the text.

Actual events such as the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, the giving of the Law to Moses, or the anointing of King David are the bedrock on which every type of Biblical writing is based.

In other words, the Bible is essentially a book of history. Note that the word ‘history’ can be used in two related ways:

  1. ‘History’ can refer to the written record of people and events in time (as in, ‘the book of Kings is a history of Israel’);
  2. ‘History’ can be used in a more comprehensive sense to refer to the actual people and events themselves (as in, ‘David’s flight from Saul is history’)

The Apostle Paul points out the connection between historical events and what the authors of the Bible reveal about those events when he tells the Corinthians: “If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised.” (1 Cor 15:14-15)

Paul sees history as being directly connected to what he and the other apostles are revealing to people through their preaching. He explains that: “The gospel that was preached by me is not man’s gospel. For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ. (Gal 1:11)

What is revelation?

Revelation is God’s act of revealing Himself through His words and actions to people throughout the history of the world.

General Revelation: God has revealed Himself generally through the physical attributes of the creation itself. We see this in Psalm 19 where David says: The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.”

Special Revelation: God has also revealed Himself through personal manifestations and spoken words. Psalm 19 continues: The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.”

Special Revelation is the revelation that is included in the books of the Bible. It is what Paul was referring to when he talked about the revelation that God provided to him and the other apostles. It is also what Peter is referring to when he explains that no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:21)

Although General Revelation provides us enough knowledge to know that God exists, it does not provide a record of His words and deeds in time. This is why Special Revelation is so important: we cannot know what God has actually done in the past unless He specifically tells us.

There are three important points to the doctrine of revelation:

1. From the beginning of time, men and women were placed in the world so they could perceive God’s power and divinity in the creation and worship Him.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”  Romans 1:18-20

What is the truth being suppressed by certain men? The truth of General Revelation that God is powerful and divine, and should therefore be worshipped by everyone. Because this truth has been revealed through what God has made, those who reject it are without an excuse.

What is “plain to them,” and how is it perceived? God’s invisible attributes are made visible through the creation, specifically His eternal power and divine nature. These can be seen by looking at the world around us, whether it is looking at a sunrise, seeing a mountain peak, watching the way a bird flies, or studying the complexity of DNA. Every aspect of creation reveals something about God.

What is the purpose of God revealing Himself through His creation? He desires men and women everywhere to know Him and worship Him. In the verses immediately following this statement, Paul explains what happens to people who choose to worship the creation instead of the Creator: they eventually turn to sexual sin.

Why does Paul say God’s attributes have been clearly perceived “ever since the creation of the world”? He wants to show there has never been a time when man was not present on the earth to worship God. Paul is referring back to Genesis 1 and the creation of Adam and Eve on the sixth day of creation as the starting point for the worship of God.

Is there a connection between those who reject God’s General Revelation and the desire to use intellectual disciplines (such as philosophy and science) to argue that He does not exist? Yes, these are examples of different ways of suppressing the truth. People are turning to the creation to worship it instead of God. That worship can take many different manifestations, whether bowing down to an idol made of wood or an idol made of intellectual ideas. In the case of modern science, many people have taken the natural world and set it up as the maker of all things. Atheistic evolutionary theory is the idolatrous idea of the progressive self-creation of all things.

2. God spoke to select men who accurately recorded His words and actions, as well as the events surrounding them.

Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the rules. And all the people answered with one voice and said, “All the words that the Lord has spoken we will do.” And Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord. Exodus 24:3-4

These are the stages of the people of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt by their companies under the leadership of Moses and Aaron. Moses wrote down their starting places, stage by stage, by command of the Lord. Numbers 33:1-2

Why is it important to God that His words and actions, as well as the events surrounding them, be recorded?  God reveals Himself through words and actions at specific places and times; they are a part of history. For instance, the Ten Commandments were spoken three months after the Israelites left Egypt. They are God’s verbal commands intended to guide His people, so He instructed Moses to write them down for future generations to remember and follow. God also instructs Moses to write down the stages (or steps) of the people on their journey. He wants them to remember how He guided them, protected them, and provided for them at a certain time and place, so they can trust that He will do it again in the future.

How important is Special Revelation for knowing what God said and did in the past? God’s Special Revelation is the only way for us to know exactly what God has said and done in the past. When it comes to questions about origins, therefore, it is very important that we start with Special Revelation. As God’s interactions with Moses on Mt. Sinai reveal, He was intentional about what He wanted Moses to write down. We must therefore be careful to base our understanding of history on what God has revealed to us about it.

Can General Revelation be used to know what God said or did in the past? No, General Revelation is intended to reveal the invisible attributes of God such as His power and nature; it was not intended to reveal His words and deeds. In a sense, General Revelation is “ahistorical” since it occurs in the same way for all people at all times.

There are some people who say the Bible is “true” but that the events it describes are not actual history. Is there a problem thinking this way? When talking about the death and resurrection of Jesus, Paul points out that if it did not actually happen, there is no hope for salvation. We all naturally understand that actions have consequencesif we don’t fill up our car with gas, it will stop running; if we lock a door and lose the key, we cannot open it. Truth is therefore connected to reality: if something is said to have happened, but did not, then it cannot also be true.

3. God expects us to know the events recorded in the Bible and accept them as history so we can direct our lives according to what He has said and done.

Read Matthew 19:3-6And Pharisees came up to [Jesus] and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one’s wife for any cause?” He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Why does Jesus quote the account of the first marriage in Genesis 2 to address the Pharisees’ question about divorce? Jesus looks at the creation of the first man and woman—and their marriage in the garden—as the model for all other marriages. Adam and Eve were therefore the standard for all marriages coming after them.

Why is it important for Jesus’ argument that the account in Genesis 2 be historically true? Jesus is making the claim that what God did in the garden has direct consequences for all marriages after it. If the original marriage of Adam to Eve was not real, then it does not have authority over any other marriage. Jesus, however, points out there was an original structure to God’s created order, and divorce was not part of it.

How important are a real Adam and Eve to the life and work of Jesus? They are absolutely essential. Luke 3 shows that Jesus connects His lineage directly back to Adam as the first “son of God.” The consequences of Adam’s sin were the reason mankind and the world became corrupted and in need of salvation. Jesus came to earth to save us from the results of Adam’s sin.

Closing Thoughts

The doctrine of revelation is the foundation of how we know who God is and what He has done in the world. Revelation, therefore, is where we must start when considering the question of origins. General Revelation reveals God’s invisible attributes to the entire world, but it cannot tell us anything specific about history. It is therefore left to Special Revelation to reveal God’s words and actions in time. Together, these two types of Revelation provide us an accurate, yet inexhaustible, fount of knowledge about creation and God Himself.

ONE DAY WITH YHWH IS AS A THOUSAND YEARS

One Day with YHWH is as a Thousand Years
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8

Peter’s statement of “one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” is sandwiched between the scoffers’ question of “where is the promise of his coming” and Peter’s reassurance that “the Lord is not slack concerning his promise” but rather He is “long suffering to us-ward”.

In other words, YHWH’s delay in coming to restore his people is due to His love towards the Jewish people and His unwillingness that any of those called should perish.

As you can see from this context, It’s unlikely that Peter believed in the immanency of Christ’s return. He understood, that the period of time between Yeshua’s first and second coming was a period of time during which YHWH’s long suffering purpose was worked out toward the Jewish people as well as the gentiles.

Do you see, Peter’s statement here is not an enigma nor is it some metaphysical statement about the relativity of time? It is a clear statement to the Jewish people, a statement that Peter unequivocally states that they should not beignorant” of.

The reason they should not be ignorant of this statement is because, it comes from one of their  most important prophetic books (in the Bible) which speaks to the Jewish people’s restoration. That book was the book of Hosea and as we have already seen, both Peter and Paul referenced it when discussing the current status of the Jewish people and their promised restoration. Further, this period was linked to the “two days” of Hosea and his people’s promised restoration.

Impending judgement on Israel and Judah Hosea  Chapter 5

I have chosen just a few verses but read all chapters 5 and 6.

“Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke;
Among the tribes of Israel I make known what is sure.
“The princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark;
I will pour out My wrath on them like water.
Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment,
Because he willingly walked by human precept.
Therefore I will be to Ephraim like a moth,
And to the house of Judah like rottenness. Hosea 5:9-12

A Call to Repentance Chapter 6

Come, and let us return to the Lord;
For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.Hosea 6:1-3

Hosea’s Two Days are 2000 Years

Some will try to set dates based upon this information, but frankly that is not possible or fruitful. Peter’s allusion to two days of Hosea provides no basis for us to calculate the day, hour, or frankly even the year of Yeshua’s return. The prophecy of Hosea simply states that Israel will be revived on “the third day”. When on the third day is conjecture.

It is enough for us to understand that we are living at the very end of the “two days” since Yeshua’s death and resurrection. That we have had the awesome privilege to witness the “dry bones” of Ezekiel 37 coming back together as the final century of those “two days” of Hosea runs its course.

Also. the dispersion and regathering of Israel has an amazing symbolic parallel to the death and resurrection of Yeshua. What happens to Israel’s king happens to Israel. As Yeshua was killed by the Romans and His soul left His body for two days, so was the people of Israel exiled out of their land for two thousand years. As Yeshua returned into His body after two days to be resurrected, so has the people returned to their land to be restored after two millennia.

As Yeshua’s return draws near, let’s intercede with YHWH on behalf of the Jewish people who have not yet turned their hearts towards Yeshua. Now is the time to be looking up, for our Salvation of Yahweh – our Yeshua draws near.

MULTIPLE PROPHECIES REVEAL GOD’S ULTIMATE PLAN FOR THE COSMOS

One of the most outstanding features of the Bible is that within the text we find constant reminders of the amazing plan of God established even before the creation of the cosmos. His plan is told to us over and over, as we read through the text, page by page. The more one reads the Scriptures, the more these “veiled” prophecies are revealed, and the more our faith in God is established line upon line.

Many of these prophetic clues are placed within some of the sections of Scripture that many of us skim through on our way to the more exciting portions. It is also important to remember that the Bible was not meant to be read as if it were a linear timeline, but as a cyclical experience. With this in mind, every page we turn connects with those pages that come after and with those that came before.

These “veiled” prophecies seem to simply be a part of the text being spoken or written as we first read them, but when we add them to the fullness of the Scriptures, they become hints of promises and fulfilment of promises.

ARK OF THE COVENANT: Make two angels (cherubim) of gold, from hammered work, at the two ends of the atonement cover. Make one angel at one end and one angel at the other end. Of one piece with the atonement cover you are to make the cherubim at its two ends. The angels are to spread out their wings above, shielding the atonement cover with their wings, each facing its companion. The faces of the  angels are to be turned toward the atonement cover.”

Note the top of the ark was called the atonement cover. In John 11:12-14 on resurrection morning when Miriam looked into the open tomb where Jesus had been laid what does she find? She finds the place where Yeshua, our atonement, was placed on top of, and two angels who stood one on one side and one on the other.

What a beautiful fulfilment of the purpose of the Ark of the Covenant picture noted in Exodus 20! To understand more fully, remember the purpose of the Ark was to carry the Testimony of God. Now think about this. Just as many of the people of Israel didn’t recognise Messiah’s sacrifice that provided atonement, Miriam, like many others, was too caught-up in the tragedy of Yeshua’s death to see the fullness of God’s plan of redemption. She looked directly at the place where Jesus, our atonement, was placed and where two angels stood facing each other and still didn’t see what was in front of her eyes, until she was asked point blank, “Who are you looking for?”

Many, many “veiled” prophecies are placed in the Scriptures so that as events take place, we will recognise the plan of God being fulfilled before our eyes.

ISRAEL AND IRAN IN THE “LAST DAYS”

Netanyahu: ‘We Will Act if Necessary…Against Iran Itself’

Addressing the Munich Security Conference in Germany last Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel “will act if necessary, not just against Iran’s proxies that are attacking us, but against Iran itself.”

The Israeli leader displayed a piece of an Iranian drone that was captured in Israel as evidence of the growing Iranian aggression.

Netanyahu, a longtime critic of the Iran nuclear deal, likened it to the infamous 1938 “Munich Agreement” that Western powers signed with Adolf Hitler in an attempt to stave off war in Europe. Rather than bringing peace, the concessions to the Nazi regime led to World War II.

Are we seeing the stage being set for the “last days” war of Gog (Leader/Prince/King) of the land of Magog (uttermost parts, north of Israel, Russia) outlined in Ezekiel 38 & 39? Gog forms an alliance with Persia (Iran) Ezekiel 38:5 and ” it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring you against my land (Israel)” Ezekiel 38:16.  The other countries in the alliance to come against Israel are Sudan, Libya, Turkey and some of the -stan (Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan etc) countries (all Muslim).

Iran marks anniversary of Islamic Revolution with missiles, burning of flags

Iran celebrated the 39th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution by stressing its hatred towards the US and Israel.

Millions took to the streets across Iran on Sunday to mark the 39th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in a show of violent force.

PROPHESIED LAST DAYS EVENTS ARE PLAYING OUT IN OUR DAY. AWAKE CHURCH, PROPHESY IS A GREAT EVANGELISTIC TOOL TO USE AT THIS TIME. ALSO, AS TORBEN SONDERGAARD (LAST REFORMATION), AND OTHERS ARE DEMONSTRATING, THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ARE EVIDENT WHEN WE STEP OUT TO SHARE THE GOSPEL.

BIBLICAL PROPHECIES FULFILLED IN 2017?

Could Trump be the Cyrus of our time, to be used by God “though you do not know Me”.

Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed: “I will go before you and level the exalted places…..For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me.” Isaiah 45:1-4

The world went into a turmoil when US President Donald Trump became the first sitting American president to visit the Kotel (Western Wall), raising the hopes of the Jewish people that a Second Temple reenactment may yet be seen in this generation. President Trump’s unwavering support for Jewish national aspirations linked him to Persian King Cyrus, whose connection to the Messiah is found in the Book of Isaiah. Much like Cyrus, Trump rules the greatest nation of the era and Cyrus, like Trump, was powerful and rich, but secular.

United Nations voted against Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

“Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples.” (Zechariah 12:2).

The final weeks of the 2017, countless countries in the United Nations voted against President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the home of the future American embassy. Could this be at least a partial fulfilment of this prophecy in Zechariah?

While the vote was an attempt by Israel’s enemies to “put Jerusalem under siege” and “isolate the city,” similar to what occurred with the destruction of Solomon’s Temple and the Babylonian Exile, Rabbi Apisdorf told Breaking Israel News, “The seeds of Messiah were hidden, planted in the destruction of the Temple.”  Likewise, he said, “This seems like a blow to Israel, but what is really happening is that the world is focused on the relationship of the Jewish people to Jerusalem, and only good things can come out of that.”

In Gathering of Exiles

Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore. And I will not hide my face anymore from them, when I pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord God.” Ezekiel 39:28

The year 2017 was a powerful year for immigration to Israel. As prophesied in the Bible, exile were returning to the land God promised to Abraham. Population statistics showed an increase of immigration with 28,400 immigrants making aliyah to Israel in 2017. New olim included Jews from four corners of the earth: 1,200 Ethiopian Jews, Bnei Menashe, Ukrainian Jews, Indian Jews, French Jews, American Jews, and many more.

Sunni-Shia Divides

“He (Ishmael) shall be a wild ass of a man; his hand against everyone, And everyone’s hand against him; he shall dwell alongside of all his kinsmen” (Genesis 16:12).
In Daniel 8 there is a prophecy of a ram (Iran) charged from Susa west (Iraq, Syria and Lebanon), north ( and south (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait). Also an 800-year old prophecy in the ancient holy book of Yalkut Shimoni declares that when the King of Persia (Iran) will provoke the King of Arabia (Saudi Arabia), redemption is around the corner. As the descendants of Ishmael, war dominates the relations between brethren in the Arab world. Iran (Shia) and Saudi Arabia (Sunni) have not seen peace for decades and this past year demonstrated an even greater struggle for regional dominance rooted in the Sunni-Shia divide.

IS POPE FRANCIS THE FALSE PROPHET?

Certainly Pope Francis is a universalist and an evolutionist. I covered this in my 03/11/2017 post on Pope Francis

He says, you  cannot have a personal relationship with God. In fact, Pope Francis says it is a dangerous doctrine.

You cannot believe God’s Word as inerrant and hold to these views. What does he do with all the prophesies of Jesus Second Coming? To my mind, he represents the Antichrist spirit in our time but is he also the False Prophet spoken of in Revelation 19:20.

Image result for picture of Pope Francis with other religious leaders

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.” 1 Timothy 4:1-2

The Vatican signed a treaty that includes recognition of the “state of Palestine,” lending significant symbolic weight to an intensifying Palestinian push for international support for sovereignty that bypasses the paralysed negotiations with Israel.

Palestine is committed to the demise of Israel and from Scripture we know it’s final end. It and all the other nations that come up against Israel. Jesus will destroy them and He will rule and reign from Jerusalem in His soon coming Millennial reign.

“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war… And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses…. And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and His army. Revelation 19:11-19

This move by the Holy See, demonstrates  it is totally oblivious to the Scriptures prophesying Jesus Second Coming just as the Pharisees and Sadducee’s were at the time of Jesus First Coming.

Palestinian leaders celebrated the Holy See’s endorsement as particularly important, given the international stature of Pope Francis. For Israelis, it was an emotional blow, since Francis has deep relationships with Jews dating back decades, and Christians are critical backers of their enterprise.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio is the 112th Pope prophesied by St Malachy. Pope Francis may just be the final man to claim the papacy before the utter destruction of Rome—at least according to St. Malachy’s Prophecy of the Popes.

St. Malachy was an Irish bishop in the 12th century. The first native-born Irishman to be canonized, he is known in the Roman Catholic Church for his work as a healer, a miracle worker, and as a reformer of the Church in Ireland.

But what he is most known for today is prophecy. St. Malachy was summoned to Rome in 1139 by Pope Innocent II, and while there, he experienced a vision of 112 future popes, which he then recorded as a series of short phrases. This transcript was then placed into the Vatican Secret Archives, where it lay until 1590.

First published in 1595 by Arnold de Wyon, a Benedictine monk, Malachy’s prophecy consists of 112 short Latin descriptions of future popes. Each of these descriptions identifies one outstanding trait for each of these future popes, beginning with Pope Celestine II, who was elected in 1130. This list stretches all the way from the time of St. Malachy to the present, describing, among many others, Pope John Paul II, Benedict XVI, and finally, Pope Francis.

In many ways, these descriptions were uncannily accurate, and so have led to hundreds of years of speculation that this prophecy might just be real, but the real draw of the Prophecy of the Popes is the cataclysm predicted at the end—and the idea that the current pope may be the last before that disaster occurs.

The final of the 112 Latin entries of the prophecy reads as follows.

“In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.”

The destruction of Rome. With the safety of the Vatican, itself, being threatened, many are now paying close attention to this 12th century foretelling.

The mention of the “tribulations” and “persecution” occurring at the end of Malachy’s prophecy can be interpreted in a sinister way—that “Peter the Roman,” the final pope, may be the Antichrist or False Prophet of Revelation 19:20, which could mean that the Prophecy of the Popes predicts not only the end of Rome, but the Biblical apocalypse.

I posted this video on 03/11/2017 and was surprised I did not get any feedback. The message is important, and as mentioned, whilst I don’t like Dwayne’s impetuous style, it is hard to disagree with what he says.

OUR BLESSED HOPE IS THE RETURN OF JESUS

In this five minute presentation Nelson Walters challenges the widely held Pretribulation Rapture position held by the majority of evangelical and charismatic churches in the USA. Our blessed hope is the return of Jesus to rule and reign on this earth but knowing when and how He comes is important. Will the church experience tribulation as outlined in Revelation? If so, we need to prepare for that eventuality. I believe the Bible clearly reveals we will, and this site will focus on the end times prophesied events, so we can use prophecy to convey our blessed hope and evangelise the lost.

NETANYAHU: TELL THE WORLD THE TRUTH

Netanyahu, tell the world the truth, “He took it from them and gave it to us.”

“Every Jew, and in fact, every Christian and Muslim, knows that the Land of Israel was promised to the Children of Israel, the Jewish People, by G-d, forever. The same G-d they claim to worship. The British pro-Zionists who worked to convince her majesty’s government to issue the Balfour Declaration in 1917, believed in the Divine Promise to the Jews. So, why continue to perpetuate this lie called the “Peace Process”? The Palestinians might gain some temporary control over the land – like in Gaza – for G-d’s own reasons, but in the end, it will be taken from them anyway and returned to its rightful tenants, the Jewish People – I didn’t say owners, because G-d is the only true owner of everything.”

It is true that a democratically elected government in Israel might choose, for political expediency, to transfer control over parts of the Jewish People’s homeland to others, like what happened in Gush Katif – Jewish Gaza; and that, in political terms, it might be seen as legitimate; but, in the Court of Final Justice, above, there never will be any spiritual legitimacy to the act. Anyone going against the will of G-d will ultimately have to account for their actions. Reward and punishment is a basic concept in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Heaven help those who try to take away the Divinely Promised Land from the Jewish People. Look what happened to Rabin, Sharon, Olmert, and countless others?

So, why lie to the Palestinians? Why make them believe they are right, that Israel “stole” their land? Why participate in a peace process? Why fool them into believing that Israel will give them land and a state?

Netanyahu is telling the world the truth. When Jesus returns, He will rule and reign in Jerusalem. For the first time, Israel will possess the whole land promised by God.
