We need to be the light in a dark place, shining bright. God will empower you but you need to make sure that you have cast all idols out of your life. Whatever it might be, technology is a major one, and for men, pornography, sport, cars, etc. Repent and get the help you need to address these issues now so that we can be the warriors we are meant to be.

HOSTILITY AGAINST CHURCHES

In December 2022, Family Research Council (FRC) released an extensive publication documenting a sharp rise in acts of hostility against churches in the United States. Analyzing publicly available data from the past five years, FRC found a total of 420 documented acts of hostility that occurred between January 2018 and September 2022.

The types of acts identified include vandalism, arson, gun-related incidents, bomb threats, and more. There also appeared to be an increase in frequency over the course of the reporting period. FRC’s report identified 137 acts of hostility against churches between January and September 2022. By comparison, there were 96 incidents in all 12 months of 2021. FRC also identified 54 incidents against churches in 2020, 83 in 2019, and 50 in 2018. Since the launch of that report, FRC has continued to track acts of hostility against churches. The fourth quarter of 2022 saw an additional 54 incidents, for a total of 191 in 2022. That number is nearly double the previous year’s total of 96. In the first quarter of 2023, 69 incidents have already occurred. If this rate continues, 2023 will have the highest number of incidents of the six years FRC has tracked, continuing the upward trend. Most of the 2023 incidents occurred in January (43); 14 occurred in February, and 12 occurred in March 2023.

Criminal acts of vandalism and destruction of church property are symptomatic of a collapse in societal reverence and respect for houses of worship and religion—in this case, churches and Christianity. Some people appear increasingly comfortable lashing out against church buildings, pointing to a larger societal problem of marginalizing core Christian beliefs, including those that touch
on hot-button political issues related to human dignity and sexuality. The anger and division that increasingly characterize American society are endangering churches and eroding religious freedom. When congregants feel targeted by members of their communities or church buildings bear the brunt of outrage over political events, the very ability to live out one’s faith safely is
under attack. Violent or destructive incidents that interfere with an individual’s lawful free exercise of religion at their house of worship present a significant nationwide challenge.

The above report is to be expected as we fast approach the Biblical prophesied time before Jesus returns to restore righteousness to the world. Lawlessness, deception, many abandoning the faith, apostasy, Antichrist, and the Mark of the Beast are all prophesied to take place before His return. Christians need to prepare for these coming events and be faithful to proclaim the GOOD NEWS, the “gospel of the kingdom” until Jesus returns to rapture faithful believers and pour out His wrath upon an unbelieving world.

“And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:12-14

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.” Matthew 24:21-22

“Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him … For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God … The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:1,3-4,9-12

JUDGEMENT IS COMING UPON NATIONS THAT TURN AWAY FROM GOD

DEADLY STORM SYSTEM BARRELS ACROSS THE U.S.A

Overall, there were reports of 69 tornadoes across eight states including Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, according to the National Weather Service. More than 400,000 homes and businesses were without power as of 7 a.m. EDT Saturday, according to poweroutage.us.

Power Outages across the midwest

Homes were ripped off their foundations, storefronts shattered, vehicles tossed like Matchbox cars and, in Belvidere, Illinois, the roof of a theater collapsed during a concert, killing one person and injuring 28.

Seven people died in Tennessee’s McNairy County. At least five people lost their lives in Arkansas, where there was extensive damage in the Little Rock metro area. Two deaths were reported in Crawford County, Illinois, and three were confirmed in Indiana’s Sullivan County. One person died in Madison County in northern Alabama and one in Pontotoc County, Mississippi.

Coralville, Iowa tornado damage

The toll appeared to be highest in Arkansas, where officials in Pulaski County announced a confirmed fatality in North Little Rock. There were also four deaths in Wynne, Arkansas. At least 40 people were injured in the Little Rock area, and five of them were in critical condition.

O​ne person was also killed when the roof collapsed at the Apollo Theatre in Belvidere, Illinois. Two others died in Illinois, three deaths were confirmed in Indiana, and one in Alabama. Dozens of homes have been wiped out, storefronts destroyed and vehicles, including semitrailers, tossed like toys.

The storms were part of an outbreak of severe thunderstorms that took aim at a wide area of the Midwest and South.

This follows massive earthquakes that have killed thousands of people in Turkey and Syria and previously in Haiti in 2020 and 2021.

A magnitude 7.8 earthquake kills up to 5,000 people across Turkey and Syria

The most powerful earthquake in nearly a century struck Turkey and Syria on Monday morning (afternoon AEDT), levelling buildings and causing tremors felt as far away as Greenland. It was quickly followed by a powerful 7.6 quake and dozens of after-shocks that wiped out entire sections of major Turkish cities in a region filled with millions who have fled the civil war in Syria and other conflicts.

A global food crisis

Conflict, economic shocks, climate extremes, and soaring fertilizer prices are combining to create a food crisis of unprecedented proportions. As many as 828 million people are unsure of where their next meal is coming from. We have a choice: act now to save lives and invest in solutions that secure food security, stability, and peace for all, or see people around the world facing rising hunger.

An expected 345.2 million people are projected to be food insecure in 2023 – more than double the number in 2020. This constitutes a staggering rise of 200 million people compared to pre-COVID-19 pandemic levels. More than 900,000 people worldwide are fighting to survive in famine-like conditions. This is ten times more than five years ago, an alarmingly rapid increase. An immediate response is needed. The global community promised to end hunger and malnutrition by 2030.

EXPRESS GOD’S VALUES: LOSE YOUR JOB OR GO TO GAOL OR BOTH

Aaron Edwards, a 37-year-old Christian theology lecturer at the Methodist-run Cliff College in England has been dismissed after tweeting that “homosexuality is invading the church. The institution, which touts itself as a global center for evangelism, dismissed the father of five for misconduct last week, deeming his tweet had brought the institution “into disrepute.”

This is a ‘Gospel issue,’ by the way. If sin is no longer sin, we no longer need a Saviour.

United Kingdom MPs voted 299-116 to continue criminalizing even silent prayer in the vicinity of Abortion Clinics. A lawyer for the U.K.’s Alliance Defending Freedom stated: “Today’s vote marks a watershed moment for fundamental rights and freedoms in our country. Parliament had an opportunity to reject the criminalization of free thought, which is an absolute right, and embrace individual liberty for all. Instead, Parliament chose to endorse censorship and criminalize peaceful activities such as silent prayer and consensual conversation.

Washington Elementary School District, a public school district in Arizona, recently severed ties with Arizona Christian University over the university’s biblical views on marriage. The district, which had long partnered with ACU, decided to ban student teachers from the classroom. “The most alarming or shocking part of this meeting was that, despite the recommendation of the staff of the district who are the on-the-ground players in this, the LGBT agenda-driven board decided that it was just not safe,” Christian Post author Leonardo Blair explained. These student teachers have been in the classroom for 11 years without incident. And yet the Board decided that they just could not trust the student teachers not to be biased when they haven’t had any sort of incident in the classroom before.

Charlie Kirk is the Founder and President of Turning Point USA, a national student movement dedicated to identifying, organizing, and empowering young people to promote the principles of free markets and limited government. In anticipation of Charlie Kirk’s speaking engagement at the University of California, Davis, Chancellor Gary S. May released a remarkable video, expressing the hope that no one would show up for the event. Yes, he said, “we can work together to neutralize and negate their influence” — and we do this in the name of free speech. Talk about doublespeak! Chancellor May made clear that he personally considered Kirk’s views to be “loathsome and hurtful.” And he referred to Kirk as “a well-known proponent of misinformation and hate and who has advocated for violence against transgender individuals.” This last claim cannot be substantiated and is in fact a lie.

These are just four incidents reported today that I have seen. Persecution of Christians is now becoming commonplace. Jesus told us that this would be the case prior to His return to set up his Millennial Kingdom. Jesus and the resurrected Saints will reign on this earth for 1000 years prior to the second resurrection, the White Throne judgement, and finally a new heaven and new earth where only the righteous dwell.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:9-13

“They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4-6

Church of England OKs blessings for same-sex couples

The vote came at a meeting of the General Synod, the church’s governing body, where the compromise approach was described in a variety of ways: as a breakthrough, a flawed compromise, or an outright mistake.

For background, the Church of England is enormous, boasting 85 million members located in 165 countries. As you may have heard, they have been in the news recently for charting a course that can only be described as consciously divorcing themselves from the historic teachings of the Christian faith.

“I know that what we have proposed as a way forward does not go nearly far enough for many but too far for others,” said Bishop of London Sarah Mullally, who has overseen the development of the proposals. But, she added, “This is a moment of hope for the Church.”

The text of the adopted motion begins with a stark acknowledgment, as the synod’s members said they “lament and repent” the historic harm done to LGBTQI+ people by the Church of England, in its failure to welcome them.

The church’s leaders spoke about the years of work it has taken to reach Thursday’s vote. And as they celebrated the moment, they also sought unity.

“For the first time, the Church of England will publicly, unreservedly, and joyfully welcome same-sex couples in church,” Archbishops Welby and Cottrell said.

They called for a new beginning and a continuation of thoughtful debate. “Above all, we continue to pray, as Jesus himself prayed, for the unity of his church and that we would love one another,” the archbishops said.

To remove any doubt, this move wasn’t a clarification that the Church’s doors are open to everyone because we all fall short of the glory of God, but an assertion that same-sex couples attending their parishes can now “dedicate their relationship to God and receive God’s blessing.”

The vote was 250-181, and in many ways wasn’t that surprising, especially considering the Church of England ordains homosexual priests under the promise that they remain “celibate.”

Steven Croft, the bishop of Oxford, praised the “significant and historic step” because “same-sex couples will become much more visible and their relationships will be celebrated publicly,” which, he expects, “will continue to change attitudes within the life of the Church.”

For their part, archbishops Welby and Cottrell punctuated the “historic step” of the vote by declaring that, “above all, we continue to pray, as Jesus himself prayed, for the unity of his church and that we would love one another.”

It’s like they grabbed the Apostle Paul’s list of vices to avoid in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and are using portions of it as a roadmap for what conduct they ought to “bless” from the pulpit.

Paul writes, “Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians

Forget “homosexuality” for a moment. On what basis could the archbishop and his ensemble preach against greed, adultery, extortion, or any other unbiblical behavior mentioned above if they’ve already taken their white-out pen to the parts of Scripture that make them uncomfortable? If they’re being consistent, they couldn’t.

That inconsistency aside, however, what’s truly maddening about this entire ordeal is that these purported representatives of the “cloth” are openly deceiving their parishioners. And one day these parishioners will have to account for their actions before the Supreme Judge of the world.

“But my bishop told me I could do it” won’t cut it as a valid excuse before a Holy God.

Equally as troublesome, by obfuscating such direct biblical truths, these imposters are robbing those under their authority of experiencing genuine Christian “love.”

Recall that the Apostle Paul doesn’t end 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 by rattling off a condemnatory list of sins, and then leaving it at that. Nope. He offers the hope of the Gospel.

“And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:11

That’s how the Bible delineates “love,” with God the Father sending Jesus Christ to endure the brutality of Calvary to rescue us from the “domain of darkness” and transfer us “to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:13-14).

Instead of this powerful presentation of God’s “love,” we have the Church of England telling the people who populate their pews that they should embrace their sin, reject God’s gift of salvation, and continue to transgress His law with impunity.

Whatever “love” these bishops are uniting behind, it isn’t Christianity.

As J. Gresham Machen would say, they’ve started something “entirely different from Christianity as to belong in a distinct category.” That much is clear.

SATANS MINIONS PERFORMED BOLDLY AND IT WAS APPLAUDED

Dr Michael Brown was teaching hundreds of ministry school students at Christ for the Nations in Dallas on the topic of demons and deliverance. During the class, he stated that in the days ahead, he believes that satanic manifestations will become much more open and overt in our society. Rather than hiding himself in the culture, the devil will reveal himself more clearly. This was just before the Grammy Awards.

Pfizer pharmaceutical company felt it fitting to sponsor performers Sam Smith, who claims to be non-binary, and Kim Petras, who claims to be transgender. These two gave the nation a Satan-themed performance of their song ‘Unholy,’ in which Petras performed inside a cage with drag queens dressed in devil costumes, while Smith gyrated in a costume with devil horns sticking out from a top hat.

“The entire ‘performance’ depicted a hellish scene with lots of darkness, blood red colors, and flames.”

So, you have: 1. the name of the song, “Unholy”; 2. both lead performers denying their biological realities, one of them wearing devil’s horns; 3. drag queens in devil costumes; 4. BDSM-related themes; 5. and the fires of Hell. I would say that is pretty clear!

Of course, we’ve been seeing this trend for years now.

One prominent example would be the rise of Drag Queens in our culture, some of them in overtly satanic attire, reading to toddlers in libraries, and performing at churches.

Another prominent example would be the “Shout Your Abortion” movement and the celebration of radical, pro-abortion legislation. This is in stark contrast to the old Bill Clinton adage that abortion should be “safe, legal, and rare.”

Back in the late 1960s and early 1970s, there was a radical feminist group with the acronym WITCH, standing for the Women’s International Terrorist Conspiracy from Hell. (I kid you not.) They certainly got their message across!

But most groups are not that overt (even if tongue in cheek), and gay activists learned decades ago that the in-your-face, “We’re here, we’re queer, get used to it” approach was not working. Instead, gay strategists adopted a policy of presenting themselves to be exactly the same as the couple next door, just like you in every way, except gay. (This was laid out in the watershed 1989 book After the Ball: How America Will Conquer It’s Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90’s.)

So, from a strategic viewpoint, most groups wanting to bring about radical change to society do so in more covert, incremental ways rather than announcing, “We’re a terrorist conspiracy from Hell!”

These days, however, it’s as if Satan is coming out in full force, red tights and all — if not literally, then metaphorically. What else can be said of the performance of “Unholy” at the Grammy Awards this past Sunday night? As the Breitbart headline announced, “Non-Binary Pop Star Sam Smith Performs BDSM, Devil-Themed ‘Unholy’ at the Grammys.” How lovely!

But even that only told part of the story.

As explained in more detail by the American Family Association,

No wonder podcaster Liz Wheeler tweeted, “Don’t fight the culture wars, they say. Meanwhile demons are teaching your kids to worship Satan. I could throw up.”

Compared to some other past hits (whose lyrics are virtually unrepeatable in moral circles), the lyrics to “Unholy” are relatively tame. It is the overall message of the Grammy performance that shouts out its depravity loudly and clearly.

Similar to this is the announcement from The Satanic Temple that it is raising funds to provide “free religious [meaning Satanic] telehealth medication abortion care in New Mexico.”

But this could be good news for us as followers of Jesus. The greater the darkness, the clearer our light is seen. May it shine brightly in front of the whole world! And may we shine as lights without shame, without compromise, and without hypocrisy.

And don’t be surprised if, in the days ahead, in front of your very eyes, you witness scenes as if taken straight out of the Bible where, in broad daylight, visibly demonized people get set free in Jesus’ name — dramatically, gloriously, and in full public view.

Things are heating up.

American ‘after school Satan club’ begins

In America, an after-school program sponsored by The Satanic Temple is popping up around the nation. What irresponsible parent would allow their child to attend such things? June Everett, national director of the After School Satan Club,1 said the following in a TV interview:

“To us, Satan is a symbol … like Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy … A symbol for standing up to tyrannical authority … We don’t believe in a supernatural Satan … we don’t talk about Satanism … we do not push it on the kids.

However, if they don’t talk about Satanism, then why the name? Everett stated Satan for her is a “symbol for standing up to tyrannical authority”. Ultimately, in her mind, this means the Creator of life (the arch nemesis of Satan) who is both concerned with children growing up (Matthew 18) with healthy boundaries, as well as children inside the womb (Psalm 139). A Christian author, John Wilkinson, once famously stated: “One of the artifices of Satan is, to induce men to believe that he does not exist.” This quote highlights the danger of denying spiritual wickedness in high places leaving many young lives vulnerable to damage and deception.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

Satanists push to overturn US pro-life laws so they can enact ‘abortion ritual’

Satanist are pro-abortion and are now claiming exemption from pro-life laws in the US under the guise of their “religious abortion ritual”.4 Co-founder of The Satanic Temple, Lucien Greaves—doing a great disservice to his given name, which means “bringer of light”—argues for their cause, saying with regards to their legal action, “We have to play the long game.”5 However, organisations with more innocuous-sounding names also don’t seem to have any qualms about murdering unborn children, for example:

What did Jesus tell us would be the signs prior to His second coming?

“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Matthew 24:3

“There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences.” Luke 21:11

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” Matthew 24:7

“A national mourning period has been declared for seven days. Our flag will be hoisted at half-mast until sunset on Sunday, February 12, 2023, in all our national and foreign representative offices,” Mr Erdogan said in a tweet.

The earthquake’s epicentre was 11 miles (17.6km) below ground between the cities of Kahramanmaras and Gaziantep in southwest Turkey. It struck at 4.17am local time as many victims were asleep. For those whose houses and apartments were brought down immediately, there was little chance to escape.

Gaziantep has been one of the fastest-growing cities in the country in the past three decades, an economic hub of two million people for a developing region that has become home to millions of refugees from the war in nearby Syria.

There were fears about the quality of construction in the thousands of new apartment blocks built in the 1990s and early 2000s to host the new population. “Panic is everywhere and the number of victims is rising. So many buildings have collapsed,” Ahmed al-Mohammed, a Syrian living in the city, said.

After a major earthquake in Turkey in 1999 building standards improved, and the destruction in Gaziantep could have been worse. By contrast, in older cities across southern Turkey the situation was catastrophic. The government estimated that 3,400 buildings had been destroyed.

In Kahramanmaras, Iskenderun, Osmaniye, and Antakya – historic Antioch – whole neighborhoods were flattened. Deaths were reported more than 200 miles away in Diyarbakir, the main city of Kurdish southeast Turkey. Across the border in Syria, cities that had been pulverised by bombing in the civil war were partially levelled again.

GOVERNMENTS DIVORCED FROM REALITY WITH NET ZERO

Net zero, to use the first great climate change metaphor, hasn’t got a snowflake’s chance in hell. It’s a fraudulent concept. It’s not real. It requires a heroic leap of faith and magical thinking. It cannot exist in the physical universe.

Yet it’s the center of Australian national policy. All our state governments are signed up for it. Net zero pledges of one kind or another – albeit often over time­frames that recall a Star Trek voyage more than a policy commitment – cover, notionally, two-thirds of the global economy.

Greg quotes the following eminently qualified academics to support his case which only makes it even more bizarre that our governments have signed up to Net zero. I show below that our own CSRIO has published on the benefits of CO2 “having boosted green foliage across the world’s arid regions over the last 30 years”.

We can reduce greenhouse gases a lot. But policy should be based on reality. There is no sign of reductions on a huge scale. Before we get to the technical, let’s examine the geopolitical, which is almost always ignored in climate hot gospelling. According to the Climate Action Tracker website, the top 12 national emitters in order are China, the US, India, Russia, Japan, Iran, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, South Korea, Canada, and Brazil.

China alone emits 30 percent of global greenhouse gases, a third more than the US and the EU combined. China, India, and Russia emit more than twice the US and EU combined. China, India, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and Brazil emit half of the world’s greenhouse gases. Not one of them is a Western nation. Not one is gripped by climate politics remotely like the dynamics that dominate Europe, Australia, and North America.

As well as the case made by Greg Sheridan above, the other important consideration is the benefits of more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Did you know more CO2 in the atmosphere causes plants to grow faster, causing global greening? The fact that CO2 spurs plant growth is well established, and it is also why greenhouses pump a lot of carbon dioxide into nurseries to make plants grow faster and stronger.

According to a recent post by Patrick Michaels, a Ph.D. in ecological climatology, on the blog, Climate Etc.

“Factorial simulations with multiple global ecosystem models suggest that CO2 fertilization effects explain 70% of the observed greening trend, followed by nitrogen deposition (9%), climate change (8%), and land cover change (LCC) (4%). CO2 fertilization effects explain most of the greening trends in the tropics, whereas climate change resulted in the greening of the high latitudes and the Tibetan Plateau.

In other words, 78 [70 + 8] percent of observed planetary greening is caused by carbon dioxide and its effect on climate.

We have repeatedly demonstrated (within here, for example) that about half of a degree (C) of observed planetary warming is ascribable to anthropogenerated changes in the atmosphere. The main result appears to be a planet that is becoming so much greener that it is readily apparent from space.”

Greenhouse gas theory is well established, and human emissions have some impact on global temperatures, but the exact amount of warming CO2 causes is a matter of a large amount of uncertainty. It’s important to keep in mind that CO2 is currently increasing the production of crops through increasing atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide.

Increased levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) have helped boost green foliage across the world’s arid regions over the past 30 years through a process called CO2 fertilisation, according to CSIRO research.

In findings based on satellite observations, CSIRO, in collaboration with the Australian National University (ANU), found that this CO2 fertilisation correlated with an 11 percent increase in foliage cover from 1982-2010 across parts of the arid areas studied in Australia, North America, the Middle East and Africa, according to CSIRO research scientist, Dr Randall Donohue.

“In Australia, our native vegetation is superbly adapted to surviving in arid environments and it consequently uses water very efficiently,” Dr Donohue said. “Australian vegetation seems quite sensitive to CO2 fertilisation.

This, along with the vast extents of arid landscapes, means Australia featured prominently in our results.”

“While a CO2 effect on foliage response has long been speculated, until now it has been difficult to demonstrate,” according to Dr Donohue.

“Our work was able to tease out the CO2 fertilisation effect by using mathematical modelling together with satellite data adjusted to take out the observed effects of other influences such as precipitation, air temperature, the amount of light, and land-use changes.”

The fertilization effect occurs when elevated CO2 enables a leaf during photosynthesis, the process by which green plants convert sunlight into sugar, to extract more carbon from the air or lose less water to the air, or both.

If elevated CO2 causes the water use of individual leaves to drop, plants in arid environments will respond by increasing their total number of leaves. These changes in leaf cover can be detected by satellite, particularly in deserts and savannas where the cover is less complete than in wet locations, according to Dr. Donohue.

“On the face of it, elevated CO2 boosting the foliage in dry country is good news and could assist forestry and agriculture in such areas; however there will be secondary effects that are likely to influence water availability, the carbon cycle, fire regimes and biodiversity, for example,” Dr. Donohue said.

“Ongoing research is required if we are to fully comprehend the potential extent and severity of such secondary effects.”

This study was published in the US Geophysical Research Letters journal and was funded by CSIRO’s Sustainable Agriculture Flagship, Water for a Healthy Country Flagship, the Australian Research Council, and Land & Water Australia.

Even more devastating they are divorced from and in opposition to their Creator. Jesus prophesied that this would be the condition the world will be in prior to His second coming. It will be like the days of Noah when lawlessness was rampant and God poured out His wrath upon the world killing all but eight people. We are fast approaching the time when God will pour out His wrath a second time with the Trumpet and Bowl judgments.

“For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” Matthew 24:38-39

The world cannot say that God has not warned them about the coming Trumpet and Bowl judgments. Incredible detail is given.

The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

Check out the Bowl judgments they are even worse Revelation 16:1-21, with the entire topography of the earth changed prior to Jesus setting up His Millennial Kingdom after defeating the Antichrist at the battle of Armageddon.

USA – A NATION UNDER THE JUDGMENT OF GOD

The National Prayer Breakfast was set up by the Christian organization, The Fellowship, also known as The Family and the International Foundation, It is a U.S.-based religious and political organization founded in 1935 by Abraham Vereide. The stated purpose of The Fellowship is to provide a fellowship forum for decision-makers to share in Bible studies, prayer meetings, worship of God, and to experience spiritual affirmation and support.

This year at the National Prayer Breakfast held in Washington DC on February 2nd, Joe Biden made sure that everyone knows that America has moved away from its Christian roots even using the Bible to support his so-called “sacred proposition”. He had to be demonically inspired to do what he did.

President Joe Biden declared that the 118th Congress is a reflection of the “infinite creativity of God” during Thursday’s National Prayer Breakfast. “Loving our neighbor is also a part of the essence of the American promise. A promise that comes with a new Congress that is more diverse and more different,” Biden stated.

“More religions, more races, more diversity than ever before in our history. People of all faiths, some people of no faith. Gay, straight, immigrant, Native American. Differences express the infinite creativity of God, who is able to see His reflection in countless ways in different people.” The president also declared that “we can come together and do big things for the country, we can join hands and get things done,” contending that “we can redeem the soul of America.”

“What’s the soul of the nation? The soul is the breath, the life, and the essence of who we are. The soul makes us, us. It’s embodied in the sacred proposition: we’re all created equally in the Image of God,” he said.

Biden called this “sacred proposition” something that is “rooted in the Scripture and enshrined in the Declaration of Independence” and that “Dr. King invoked when he told us about his dream for the nation.”

What scripture is he reading?

Biden emphasized the need for civility, stating that “in our politics and in our lives, we too often see each other as opponents and not competitors. We see each other as enemies and not neighbors” and “there is so much more that unites us than divides us.”

Biden’s remarks came as part of the National Prayer Breakfast, a gathering of elected officials and others that has been observed every first Thursday of February since 1953.

For decades, the event was overseen by a nondenominational Christian ministry and was held at a local hotel, sometimes having around 3,500 attendees in person from numerous countries.

Last month, however, it was announced that a new organization, known as the National Prayer Breakfast Foundation, would be overseeing the event, with attendance being reduced to just federal government officials, their families, and a few guest constituents.

Additionally, the gathering would be held at a Capitol Hill venue rather than a local hotel, though it would still include guest speakers and be live-streamed on C-SPAN and elsewhere.

Former Sen. Mark Pryor, president of the board of the new Foundation, told The Christian Post in an earlier interview that the changes were made as an effort to “return” the event “back to its origins.”

“Back with President Eisenhower [the event] was just the president and members of Congress, House, and Senate. And so, that’s what they wanted to get back to,” Pryor explained.

Pryor described this year’s breakfast as being “smaller,” “more intimate,” with this “following the wishes of the House and Senate to restore it back to what it used to be.”

The group that used to host it, which is sometimes called “the Family” or “the Fellowship,” will be holding its own events over the span of the next couple of days.

According to the Pew Research Center’s latest Faith on the Hill report, released last month, Christians represent 88% of the voting members of Congress, while 65 members identified as other religions and 21 members identified as unaffiliated or “humanist.”

Joe Biden professes to be a Christian and he is speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast which was founded as a Christian event so it is difficult to understand why he would say what he did to what would be a largely Christian audience.

Compare what Joe Biden said with what Jonathan Cahn said at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast 2017 – at the Trump Inauguration. Johnathan Cahn warned the nation at this event that it will come under further judgment from God if it continues on the path to exorcise the God of the Bible from His rightful position of sovereignty.
