PROPHESIED APOSTASY IN THE LAST DAYS

Anglican ambassador to the Vatican says Jesus did not physically rise from the dead.

After Dr. John Shepherd was appointed as the new representative to Rome last week, a 2008 Easter sermon resurfaced in which he said: “It’s important for Christians to be set free from the idea that the resurrection was an extraordinary physical event, which restored to life Jesus’s original earthly body. The resurrection of Jesus ought not to be seen in physical terms, but as a new spiritual reality.”

Shepherd, who was Dean of Perth from 1990 to 2014, will be central to discussions with the Pope and will act as the de facto ambassador for the Archbishop, the Church of England, and other Anglican churches around the world. Shepherd was appointed after the previous ambassador, Archbishop Bernard Ntahoturi, resigned following accusations of sexual misconduct.

Those that backed Shepherd included Anglican Archbishop of Perth, Kay Goldsworthy, she criticised people for making “statements of concern” about a sermon from 11 years ago, the West Australian reports.

“If that happened to every preacher in the Church we would all be in trouble, frankly,” she said. “There is a statement that people have picked out, whoever the people are, and have sort of wanted to make some example of. I am not sure what they wanted to achieve.

What do Dr John Shepherd and Archbishop Kay Goldsworthy do with the following Scripture.

” Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. 1 Corinthians 15:12

We are indeed in the “last days” and judgement of His church as prophesied in Revelation will come upon them “as a thief, and you will not know the hour I will come”.

I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore, if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. Revelation 3:1-3

Note: We are to watch, to be alert to the days we are in, to be courageous and outspoken for the truth of God’s word. It is obvious that those that seek positions of leadership in the denominational churches, in the main, are looking for approval from the world and earthly rewards.

THE INDIGNATION OF THE LORD IS AGAINST ALL NATIONS!

Not only do we know the indignation (righteous anger) of the Lord is against all nations at the end. but we also know their fate – destruction.

“Come near, you nations, to hear;
And heed, you people!
Let the earth hear, and all that is in it,
The world and all things that come forth from it.
For the indignation of the Lord is against all nations,
And His fury against all their armies;
He has utterly destroyed them,
He has given them over to the slaughter.
Also their slain shall be thrown out;
Their stench shall rise from their corpses,
And the mountains shall be melted with their blood.” ISAIAH 34:1-3

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.” PROVERBS 1:7

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life,
To turn one away from the snares of death.” PROVERBS 34:27

“When your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.
“Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.
Because they hated knowledge
And did not choose the fear of the Lord,
They would have none of my counsel
And despised my every rebuke.” PROVERBS 1:27-30

“If you receive my words,
And treasure my commands within you,
So that you incline your ear to wisdom,
And apply your heart to understanding;
Yes, if you cry out for discernment,
And lift up your voice for understanding,
If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will understand the fear of the Lord,
And find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;” PROVERBS 2:1-6

Help us Lord, to warn the world of the coming judgement, that they might know that a good God must judge unrighteousness, otherwise He is not a good God.

WE ALL FACE GOD’S JUDGEMENT – HELL IS A REAL PLACE

Do you have the Holy Spirit’s assurance that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? What about family and friends?

2 Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.”
Revelation 14:7, “And he said with a loud voice, “’Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgement has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.’”
Revelation 11:18, “The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small— and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”
Luke 13:23-28, “And someone said to him, “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able… In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but you yourselves cast out.”

2 Thessalonians 1:9-10, “They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the  presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might when He comes on that day to be glorified in his saints and to be marvelled at by all who have believed..”

John 5:21-23, For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgement to the Son, that all may honour the Son, just as they honour the Father. Whoever does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent him.”

Lord, we bow in earnest petition today for those we know and love whose names may not yet be written in Your Book of Life. We pray with the same earnestness, Jesus for the unreached people in our local area and beyond.

IF WE DON’T JUDGE OURSELVES WE WILL BE JUDGED BY THE LORD

For the time has come for judgement to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?1 Pet. 4:17

The context of this verse is the glory of God. God wants to reveal His glory to us and through us, for His purpose has always been for the church to reflect His glory. He will do what He can to prepare us for His glory and to spare us from being judged. We must understand that His judgement is always in proportion to the manifestation of His glory. Always.

Image result for picture of Ananias and Sapphira

The judgement that fell on Ananias and Sapphira was equal to the pure glory of God that was manifesting in the early church (Acts 5). The judgement was severe because the glory was heavy. The Lord is zealous to restore His glory again among His people.

Goodness and severity is the two-edged sword of the Lord. If we don’t judge ourselves, we will be judged by the Lord.

For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world” 1 Cor. 11:31-32

The Lord will awaken us and get our attention through His goodness or through His severity. The sleeper can be awakened with a kiss of kindness or a severe shaking. We choose.

“Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God—severity toward those who fell, but goodness toward you, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise, you too will be cut off” Romans 11:22

At some point we need to be honest with ourselves and ask the tough questions.

Why are we being defeated? Why doesn’t the world respect us?  Why aren’t we impacting our culture and our spheres of influence? Where is the power of God? Why aren’t we seeing the glory of God that we see in the early church?

AMERICA’S PASTORS ARE UNITING TO SAY, ‘THE TIME TO REPENT IS NOW!’

American Pastors Network, President Sam Rohrer hopes America, the church, pastors and believers are listening to the message God is sending in the wake of many natural disasters and unrest. He said, “periods like these were common in the Bible, where God gave his people warnings and implored them to repent.”

“So we must ask, ‘What should be happening in our country?'” Rohrer continued. “‘How should the American people be responding?’ We can tie these important questions to everything we see happening in our world—from hurricanes to earthquakes. God is indeed trying to get our attention. And everything fits within the context of taking heed of this warning, repenting and getting right with God. The American Pastors Network’s urgent message is: ‘Wake up, church!’ Do we understand? Are we hearing and is it leading to repentance?”

Rohrer added that pastors especially should be encouraging their people to listen to God’s message, ask “What are you saying, God?” and get on their knees to repent.

The verse 2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV ‘If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land’ was used widely during the presidential election of 2016,” Rohrer said. “But now, many have forgotten. The post-election message was that our nation had a short period of time—a small window of opportunity—to steer the ship right. What will the church do in that window? Go back to sleep or further engage? These past few weeks have been a very tangible wake-up call. We must look up and understand, and know that what happens in this country hinges on the people of God. Are they hearing, are they watching and are they responding?”

Rohrer and his fellow hosts of APN’s radio ministry, “Stand in the Gap Today,” which airs on 425 stations nationwide, have been addressing these timely headlines and their tie to biblical times.

In Isaiah Chapter 5, the prophet Isaiah proclaimed judgement on the Jerusalem of his day,” Rohrer said on a recent “Stand in the Gap” program. Could his words be the final words of judgement on America of our day? His message was one of final judgement. No more warnings. No more time. God said, I’ll destroy your nation because you’ve rejected my commands and despised My holy name. Therefore, My fearsome anger will come against you and no nation will stand against Me. In that day, Israel deserved God’s judgement. We in America should look in the mirror and consider our sins in light of Israel then: materialism; apathy; ignorance; moral relativism; addictions of all types; bribery and corruption; rampant dishonesty.

“Is not God clearly warning our nation?” says, Rohrer

EARTHQUAKE EPIDEMIC SWEEPING GLOBE PART OF END-OF-DAYS REDEMPTION

“Therefore shall heaven be shaken, And earth leap out of its place, At the fury of God of Hosts on the day of His burning wrath.” Isaiah 13:13

This month, while even more hurricanes brewed over the Atlantic Ocean, two deadly earthquakes hit Mexico. On September 8, an 8.4 magnitude earthquake hit the country’s west coast, killing almost 60 people and generating a minor tsunami. This was followed last Tuesday by a 7.1 magnitude quake that devastated Mexico City, killing at least 326 people.

It is significant that two Rabbis have connected the increasing natural disasters with end times prophecies.

Rabbi Matityahu Glazerson, a Bible codes expert, believes he found the cause of this recent seismic outbreak. In a video published after the first Mexican earthquake, Rabbi Glazerson, using special software, searched for hidden messages within the Bible that would explain current events. The results corresponded to a remarkably appropriate verse relating to the revolt led by Korach described in the Book of Numbers.

“Scarcely had he finished speaking all these words when the ground under them burst asunder.” Numbers 16:31

Attached to this verse, he found a code of the word ‘Mexico’ with the Hebrew words ‘rash’ (shaking) and ‘adamah’ (ground). Also attached to this grouping were the words ‘kavod Hashem’ (honour of God). The rabbi noted that the earthquakes today are related to Korach, who was swallowed up by by the earth. The rabbi warned that the sin of Korach is being repeated today on an international scale.

“People, even people who claim to be religious, are trampling God’s honour,” the rabbi said. “It is foretold that the earth will open again before Messiah to restore Korach.”

The rabbi warned that this clearly means that the days preceding the Messiah will necessarily be filled with earthquakes.

The rabbi’s warnings seem well-founded, as hints of a similar disaster were felt in the U.S. last week when a 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit near Los Angeles. On Sunday, over a period of 24 hours, 28 minor tremors ranging from 1.5-2.6 hit Tuolumne City, in central California.

Seismic activity around the globe is increasing at an alarming rate. The quakes in Mexico are not isolated incidents, since Mexico is part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, a tectonically active region surrounding the Pacific Ocean accounting for nearly 90 percent of the seismic activity on the planet.

In fact, other sections of the Ring of Fire have been unusually active recently. Two powerful earthquakes were reported to have struck New Zealand on Wednesday, while Japan had flashbacks of a national disaster when seismic activity began off the coast east of Fukushima early on Thursday morning. In total, there have been ten major quakes of 4.9 or more recorded around the Pacific in the last week alone.

The danger was made even more emphatically clear when the Monaro Voui volcano erupted violently on Tuesday, leading to the evacuation of the entire island of Ambae, part of the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu. On Monday, 50,000 people were evacuated from Bali, Indonesia as seismologists warned that Mount Agung was about to erupt.

Rabbi Yosef Berger (Courtesy David’s Tomb)

Earthquakes are indeed a source of alarm, but they are only one of the many forms of natural disaster that have struck in recent weeks. Last month, millions of acres of forests in the Northwest U.S. were destroyed in raging wildfires. Yellowstone, one of the most troubling seismic hotspots on the planet, is having one of the most active years ever with over 2,300 tremors since June.

Like Rabbi Glazerson, Rabbi Yosef Berger, rabbi of King David’s Tomb at Mount Zion, understands the natural disasters as part of the Messianic process. Rabbi Berger explained that all of the natural disasters, earthshaking and ocean-born, are intended to bring about one specific result: the ultimate redemption.

JESUS SAID, THERE WILL BE FAMINES, PESTILENCES, AND EARTHQUAKES IN VARIOUS PLACES

‘We are losing a dangerous race’: ‘Super malaria’ spreading rapidly in Asia.

A highly drug-resistant strain of malaria dubbed “super malaria” is spreading rapidly in South East Asia, leading scientists to warn that it could soon be a global threat.

The disease, most commonly transmitted by mosquitoes infected with the parasite, was first detected in Cambodia in 2008 but has now spread to the three remaining countries that make up the Eastern Greater Mekong subregion: Vietnam, Laos and Thailand.

In a letter, published in Lancet Infectious Diseases, the team studying the spread of the disease from the Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit in Bangkok, said the rapid spread “presents one of the greatest threats to the control and elimination of malaria.”

Adding that the fact it is mostly drug resistant is a “sinister development”.

“A single mutant strain of very drug-resistant malaria has now spread from western Cambodia to northeastern Thailand, southern Laos and into southern Vietnam and caused a large increase in treatment failure of patients with malaria,” letter co-author Prof. Arjen Dondorp said.

“This could result in an important increase in malaria transmission in these countries and severely jeopardize their malaria elimination efforts,” he added.

Dondrop hopes that this new evidence will be used to combat the diseases spread in the region before it becomes “close to untreatable.” His colleague, Prof Nicholas White, thinks that “we are losing a dangerous race” and that something must be done to tackle this public health emergency urgently.

Roughly 212 million people are infected with the disease each year, the majority of cases, 92 percent, are in Africa. If this super malaria strain spread to the continent the effects would be disastrous.

Drug resistant Malaria? Treatment fails to cure 4 UK patients in medical first

Also prophesied to increase in the “last days” are natural disasters, earthquakes and apostasy. all of which we are seeing now. Is your church standing on the word of God? If it is, then expect increased persecution. If it isn’t, then find one that is and start preparing for Christ’s return and be joyful for your redemption is nigh.

IS THE SPIRIT OF BAAL OPERATING TODAY?

Why would New York City put up an arch that served as a gateway to the Temple of Baal in New York

Is it just a coincidence that we have seen violence erupt all over America since the unveiling of the arch that served as a gateway to the Temple of Baal in New York City

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn was standing in the crowd when “the harbinger of Baal” was unveiled, and he posted a video of the unveiling on YouTube.

Israel’s defiance of God was linked to a specific entity – the god Baal. Baal was the god to whom they sacrificed their children (abortion), before whom they practised sexual immorality and called good “evil” and evil “good.” Baal was the god in whose name Israel persecuted the prophets and the righteous of their day.

Baal was their anti-god, their substitute for the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the god of their apostasy and the god of their destruction. Baal was their devil god. In fact the name for satan, Beelzebul and Beelzebub, is derived from Baal – meaning “Baal of the flies” and “Baal of dung.”

In the last days of Israel, when the harbingers appeared, they appeared in a land covered with the images of Baal. It was the worship of Baal that ultimately brought about the harbingers of judgement. Thus Baal was the god of the harbingers.

GOD WILL RAISE UP THE ELIJAH’S FOR OUR DAY. WILL YOU BE ONE OF THEM?

ABANDONING GOD’S DESIGN FOR MARRIAGE WILL BRING JUDGEMENT

Abandoning God’s design for marriage in not just bad for society it will bring God’s judgement on those nations that legislate for it.

The Bible clearly states that the beginning of wisdom is to fear God. It seems that even in churches there is no fear of God or they would not  sanction gay marriage. The Bible is clear on the harsh penalties leaders face that go down that path.

This article is by Creation Ministries International’s

How gay marriage harms people

Three reasons that abandoning God’s design for marriage is bad for society.

Even now that same-sex marriage has become widely accepted in many countries, Christians cannot surrender. We must continue to lovingly and graciously stand for the truth. Also, if we want to be effective, we must learn to articulate the reasons why gay marriage not only violates God’s moral standard, but actually harms society. Indeed, a faulty view of marriage will create many victims.

The Bible says that marriage is rooted in God’s creation of mankind (Matthew 19:4–8). In Genesis, we read how God made Eve out of Adam’s own flesh as a helper suited to him, and then the text says, “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24).

man-woman-marriage

Throughout Scripture, it is clear that marriage is a lifelong, exclusive covenant union of two people—a husband and a wife—which forms the foundation for the family. That is, marriage is oriented toward producing and raising children, if God so blesses (Genesis 1:28Malachi 2:15). God created us male and female to complement one another, and the production of children requires both a man and a woman. So there cannot be any such thing as gay marriage, because marriage requires husband and wife.

The reason, then, that the Bible opposes the homosexual lifestyle is that it violates God’s design for marriage and family. Two people of the same gender do not complement one another as husband and wife do. Their union cannot produce children. And homosexual activity is harmful and destructive to oneself and others. So there are good reasons why the Bible explicitly condemns homosexual relationships. See Does the Bible really forbid homosexual relationships? and What does the Bible really say about homosexuality?

Let me mention just a few of the problems with gay marriage and gay adoption, in particular.

Same-sex marriage debases true marriage, and thereby weakens society

If we abandon the Bible’s teaching on marriage and just make up new definitions as we go, then why couldn’t marriage be redefined in other ways? Why couldn’t it be more than two people, for example? Why couldn’t it be a temporary rather than a lifelong commitment? There’s a logical slippery slope from same sex marriage to polygamy, temporary marriages, and other corrupt practices, because the same wrong thinking underlies these ideas—that people rather than the Creator have the authority to decide what marriage is. Sadly, once the definition of marriage is separated from the Creator’s design, it becomes so flexible that it begins to lose any significant meaning. Indeed, many homosexual activists have admitted that their real goal is to destroy the institution of marriage altogether. They realise that championing same-sex marriage works toward undermining the norms of marriage (like monogamy, permanence and exclusivity) and ultimately even the very concept of marriage itself.

But healthy societies are built on healthy families. The more we move away from the biblical teaching on marriage, the more we’ll have broken homes, because other arrangements simply do not work as well as God’s design. Logic indicates that the undermining of marriage will lead to an increase in cohabitation, divorce, single parenting, abortion, etc., and various studies help to confirm this. The weakening of marriage will place a burden on society as a whole, because others will have to step in with time, energy, and money to try to repair the damage. They will have to minister to hurting adults and help to raise the children of broken homes, and those children will be more likely to get into trouble, causing further problems. This leads to my next point.

Same-sex marriage harms children

What’s wrong with same-sex couples producing children through a surrogate or adopting children?

The fact that many children require adoption means they are already in a less-than-ideal situation. The ideal is that children would be raised by their own parents. Children long for and tend to be healthier when raised by their biological mother and father.

The next best thing, though, would be for children to be raised by a married, opposite-sex couple, as opposed to a single parent or a same-sex couple. Adoption by a same-sex couple would give children additional difficulties to overcome instead of giving them the best chance for success. This is because same-sex parenting would deny children the ability to have a parent of each gender (both a mom and a dad). This isn’t good, because men and women parent differently. They bring different strengths and weaknesses to the table, so children learn different lessons from mom than they do from dad, and vice versa.

Same-sex parenting would deny children the ability to have a parent of each gender (both a mom and a dad).

If a same-sex couple brought children into the world through a surrogate, that would be even worse, because they would be creating children with the intention up front of separating them from at least one of their biological parents. Studies show that children do better if they are raised by their actual parents rather than one parent and one step parent, but same-sex parenting necessarily involves a step parent.

In fact, numerous testimonies from people who spent their childhood in a same sex household bear out these truths. For example, Heather Barwick was raised by her mother and her mother’s lesbian partner. Although Heather loves them both dearly, she writes about how the lack of a father in her home negatively affected her. She says, “My father’s absence created a huge hole in me, and I ached every day for a dad. I loved my mom’s partner, but another mom could never have replaced the father I lost” (Truth Overruled, 2015, p. 170).

According to the champions of same-sex marriage, though, two parents of the same gender should be just as good as having one’s own mother and father. This simply isn’t true. Advocates of same-sex marriage are primarily concerned about the desires of adults, but they largely ignore the fact that, in the process, they trample on the best interests of children.

Same-sex marriage undermines religious freedom

It should not be surprising that, once gay marriage is declared legal, those who oppose it are seen as enemies of the law. This is why, especially since the US Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage, those with moral and religious objections to same-sex marriage are increasingly being persecuted for simply following their deeply held religious convictions. See Gay Marriage—a big stick to beat the church with.

Religious adoption agencies are being forced to close if they will not place children into same-sex households. Christian schools are being threatened with loss of funding and accreditation if they do not allow their students to actively engage in homosexual practices. Professionals in the wedding industry and even pizza shops are being forced to participate in same-sex ceremonies, or face financial ruin. Even individuals like former Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran and former Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich are being hounded out of their careers for simply opposing gay marriage in their private lives. Kim Davis was sent to jail because her convictions would not allow her to sign a same-sex marriage license. And we’ve only seen the beginning of this tidal wave. All of the transgender lunacy we’re now facing is a result of this moral revolution as well.

Clearly, gay marriage advocates want more than the freedom to do as they please. The movement includes many bullies who want to force everyone to either join them or be destroyed. They talk a lot about love, but they don’t really understand it. True love “does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth” (1 Cor. 13:6). Amazingly, in the name of ‘love’, the freedom to think and act like a Christian is being taken away.

Christians, on the other hand, are called to love our enemies. So we must continue to show love even to those who persecute us. We do not return evil for evil, but neither do we capitulate to their demands. “We must obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29). And, because it violates God’s expressed will, Christians must continue to oppose same-sex marriage.

ANOTHER AWESOME MESSAGE FROM JONATHAN CAHN

Are you in a church that understands where we are on the Biblical timeline? Is it preaching Jesus second coming and the prophetic events surrounding His return?

Is it it compromising with the world and its values (e.g. gay marriage) or is it standing on God’s Word.

Listen to Jonathan and be encouraged that current world events demonstrate that God is in control down to the day, hour and even minute.

God has put you on the planet at this time in history for a purpose, are you in step with Him? If not get into prayer with like minded believers. Don’t waste another minute.
